Absolutely dreadful. We were looking forward to "authentic" pasta, however the food we were served was practically inedible. thick, overcooked pasta with uninspiring sauce/fillings. We commented that we were unhappy, but were still charged! the room is tired and the loud jazz music unwelcome in an almost empty restaurant. We won't be returning.

We came to know this restaurant through an offer on Timeout. It’s a lovely location, nice background music still allowing you to chat. Staff is very attentive and friendly. I’m Italian and I went with my Greek friend. We talked to one of the ladies who took our order and she’s from Naples. You can see real Italian people with a passion for food created this gorgeous recipes. We had a glass of wine, aubergine croquettes, delicious! The panko lasagna, mini portion as a stater was nice but not memorable. Then we enjoyed some fried squid with a black lemon mayo, what a nice touch. My friend enjoyed burrata on a tomato tartare. Personally I didn’t like the tomato too much but it was inventive. Main courses were passo pappardelle with fried meatballs and a tomato sauce with ricotta, to die for! My agnolotti with peas sauce and crispy guanciale super delicate. If you are looking for a classy place, real Italian food and feeling like at home, this is definitely the right place for your meal.

Had a great meal. Had a selection of starters all of which were delicious. Mains of pasta were perfect and a decadent dessert. Will be back

Warm welcoming restaurant with welcoming staff. Food was hit and miss. I thought the lasagna was meat but it was vegetarian. It was fairly tasteless and a bit over priced at £15. The staff were attentive, in fact too much so. We were asked if everything was all right by 3 different people at least 7 times which was overboard. However company was great and we had a good evening.

Visited as part of a day wandering around London and after a matinee show in the area. Had a Groupon voucher for set meal costing £35. Several of dishes not available from what was already a small choice menu. Appears long-standing issue of "no chips" was again a problem. By the time you add on a £30 bottle of house wine, supplement on the steak and then service charge you done get much change out of £100. Marked as average only and certainly not somewhere I would return. Nice air con restaurant with music which we liked but fairly empty and soulless.

If you like your deli meat cut a certain way, DO NOT go here, 3 times I asked for my salami thinly sliced & just 100g, I got 278g of the thickest cut slices I’ve ever seen, after saying again I wanted thinly sliced I was told take it or leave it, I left the whole basket I had, just plain RUDE

It's new name is Chicken hub. At the same address and at the same place next to Old Dutch pancake is Chicken Hub not Chicken cottage. On google, you can see exact pictures with hundreds of reviews. It was surprisingly good. Only place in London where i went again as experience was good. Grilledchicken with rice was very good and i will recommend. Service was great as well. Second time i found few burnt rice in it. Probably they have to work on the quality.

Turquoise had just opened. They've done a fabulous job in redecorating the old Cafe Rouge. Brightly coloured, it's warm and welcoming and the food is very good. I've only eaten there once with a friend, but we both really enjoyed our lunches. I had garlic prawns; she had lamb chops and both were delicious. In the centre of Highgate Village, it's a lovely place to pop in for coffee, which I have also done.
