This is a market just outside the station. It mainly sells different foods such as bread and cheese, and also sells some hot food. If you are looking for a food market, this is a good choice, but if you want If you come here specifically to visit, you will be disappointed, because they don’t have many shops and there aren’t many tourists. They just sell different kinds of bread and food. Also, a reminder that the prices they sell are very high. For example, a bottle of water costs 4.5 pounds. It is your choice whether you want to come here or not.

Turkish delight place is overpriced and tasted stale. Worrying that the guy used his hands to grab it also.

I enjoyed the Turkish Delights, especially the raspberry pistachio and the strawberry. Also at another stand they had Biltong, I enjoyed the sweet chili and the ghost flavors. And there's much more, it's a nice spot to check out and support up and coming businesses.

Expect high London prices, but the stuff is good (especially the Cannoli).

Lovely market. The Galeta bakery stall is my favourite. Definitely worth a visit!

TERRIBLE service , waited ages to ordee , finally someone took my order. waited 15 mins and 5 others or so had their coffes who ordered after me , queried this and was told must of got lost in system , no eye contact , No appology, no smiles , no thank you either , cahos inside too , would not reccomend. also coffee barely hot

Service pleasant enough Coffee was lukewarm, cinnamon bun was stale and inedible Very expensive for utter rubbish, will purposefully avoid black sheep next time

A variety of food markets here at decent prices too. Worth checking out for quick snacks near the train station and underground

the woman behind the bar shouted at subordinate who was sitting in a corner behind the bar. i have advised he to stop and start doing coffee - read serving clients. she turned to me her ill eye face and has started to shout at me. i made the photo of her and suggested to change the job, as she is not capable to work with public.

Completely delightful service. So sweet and attentive. Couldn’t recommend more highly if you’re waiting around for a train like I was!

I love this place! The staff are incredible, and always have a smile on their faces, no matter how busy it is! I come here every week when I’m in London for work, and to be honest, you won’t get a better coffee anywhere in the area! There has obviously been some shake up over the last year, as reading some of the older reviews, I can honestly say, they are no longer valid! Thanks to all the staff for making me smile at 07:00 on a Monday morning!

Lovely people with their beautiful food stalls. Very limited food stalls we can find just outside of Kings cross station. From fresh breads and Italian passtries must try. Tea from.Aamla chai and smoothies and fresh juice from the juice stall is really awesome.

I visited just after midday for a takeout waffle and coffee. My card didn't work with the touch screen so I had to insert it, however I forgot my pin! I suffer from very bad episodic brain fog and experienced a total blank. The staff could see this and I also became flustered as I was aware I was starting to hold up the queue. Instead of being frustrated with me, the staff were extremely kind, one lovely young lady even telling me I could have the coffee 'on the house while you figure it out'. I eventually managed to work something out, and paid for my waffle, however the kindness and professionalism of the staff was so touching and they displayed just an exceptional level of customer care I feel compelled to write this review, and will recommend this great little place to everyone I know. The coffee, by the way, was wonderful: wonderfully balanced, smooth creamy latte, comforting and warm- just like the staff! I had been craving an authentic Norwegian waffle with brown cheese since returning from an Arctic Circle trip a couple of weeks ago. Delighted to have found somewhere in London that serves these, and it was totally delicious. Thanks, Black Sheep Coffee!

Good atmosphere with some great vendors. Some of the prices on the higher side, but worth it in most cases. Would recommend stopping by if you are in the kings cross area, however not sure it is something I would purposefully travel far for

Poor hygiene and dangerous health and safety: This is a review of one particular stall in particular. Unfortunately I don’t remember the name but they were selling things like tarts/pastries and quiches. I bought one on Tuesday 21st February. They packaged it in a bag (unfortunately they don’t do boxes) but when I took it out at home it had a sharp metal piece inside it!!

It is obvious I love food and Xmas markets in general. And what's better than combined food and Xmas markets. Give me food, and I'm happy. This one was surprisingly good. It was even bigger than Canopy Market. The food was delicious. I must have spent £100 on food alone. From pies, sausage rolls, brownies, croissants, dry nuts, coffee, and alcohol of course, this is a foodie's paradise. As you can imagine, I was in heaven.

Its been while since a place has appalled me to the extent Black Sheep at King's Cross did. After COVID pandemic, I keep expectations low because I understand some places have issues with short-staffing and other such problems, but still I didn't find a single positive aspect about this place. I visited this place in afternoon for a quick brunch before catching my train to Lincoln. What should I point out as not being annoying; Be it the fact that no table is cleaned or cleared and either you dispose of the leftovers from previous customer or you just sit at the table with already utilized cup of coffee in front of you. Be it the staff attitude which is full of arrogance and total lack of any customer care. Like making you feel your are punishing them by ordering. Be it the tasteless abomination they try to serve as Salt Beef Bagel or Nescafe Instant Coffee like drink they try to call their specialty without any taste or right thing about it. or Be it over-pricing ordinary below average food even for London standards. This was a pungent experience for me from head to toe. So much that I went to another cafe nearby to gather my senses back to normal before catching my train. As I said, you are Black Sheep for them, AVOID, AVOID, AVOID.

Dreadful coffee from Black Sheep Kings X today. Gutted as stopped off before train and have used Black Sheep in Fitzrovia for years. Tasted burnt - somethings gone wrong 🤔 Wish I’d tasted it while still there instead of waiting til I got on train. Too awful to drink.

This is only a review of the samosa/bhaji stall. We got a chicken samosas, cheese samosa and onion bhaji. The samosas had mostly onion, peas and potato as filling with virtually no chicken or cheese and very little flavouring/spices. The bhaji was bland and a nasty texture. Avoid! Looks nice but very disappointing taste

I had the universal box at Mel tropical kitchen. I enjoyed the salad but the humus and falafel were not to my taste.

Found some lovely tasty bread here. £4 per loaf. Very recommended

An excellent selection of good quality food. The brownies from the Flour Station are the best I have ever tasted and reasonably priced.

Market for around 40 producers who rear, grow and produce their own high quality artisanal produce.

Eine aufregend interessante Mischung an bunten Marktständen mit erkennbar hochwertigen, frischen (Bio-) Lebensmitteln, bunten Früchten und gesundem Obst, vielen ansprechenden englischen Land-Käsen, geräucherten Fischen und täglich ganz frisch produzierten (super leckeren Grau- und Misch-) Broten, sowie vielen tollen und äusserst schmackhaften Feingebäcken. Man muss seine Augen und seinen Willen schon unter Kontrolle haben, sonst wird es richtig teuer, in jeder Beziehung! In gar keinem Fall hier hungrig aufschlagen! ☺ Die Preise sind der Biowelt und auch der Londoner Umgebung angepasst. Dich findet sich durchaus auch das eine oder andere echte Schnäppchen. Schön ist, dass viele Stände leckere Proben anbieten, die einem den Einkauf besonders leicht machen.

Nice location. Convenient. Some stalls are quite good (bakeries, cheese selection is really interesting) and some are a rip off. Casa Cannoli sadly would be later one. Very nice brand look bur sadly.. stale, over-sweetened and hard as stone pastries. Instead of throwing unsold thing away they keep it to sell. You are asked to pay for to like it’s gold. Disappointing.

Decent range of stalls and no doubt that the wares are sourced responsibly and for flavour but priced for tourists

Great food selection. Cheese, bread, cakes, donuts, you name it! I would pass on the salmon cakes in case you see them. Way too much potato compared to fish. Portuguese egg tart is very creamy. Went with the classic flavor and did not disappoint.

It's really pretty and worth going if the weather is nice and you have enough time. The food market is pretty expensive (around 10-20£ per food item), the food itself is not something very special, just your average Indian, hotdogs, burgers and fish and chips. Theres not a lot of sitting area so you can order food, but there will be no space for you to sit...

Extortionate produce which is not exceptional, will not indulge again

So glad I decided to walk from Kings X to Euston because I came across this market. Got the most amazing oat, nut and raspberry slice to die for. Will have to buy in bulk next time.

Not a huge amount of stalls at this market, and some sell the same product (2 cheese stall next to each other) so not a wide enough variety. Is expensive, 4 hot cross buns for £5, small jar of pistachio spread for £6, 1 small pastie type savoury for £4, but all items bought were tasty.

Great food stalls at prices you can afford

There is some truly great food at these markets. I particularly love the brownies and breads. The market itself is relatively small, but nicely positioned outside Kings Cross Station, and not far from St Pancras Station. So, if you're taking a long distance journey, it's definitely worth stopping by.

Great! Delicious. Not cheap. But takes card. Can sit under the canopy or on the grass by the canal. And Waitrose is there if you need anything else.

I wish that place to be as good as Borough Market. Not bad but BM is better. Just because they need more sellers on King's Cross. Food quality is great. But is just 5 minutes to see everything.

Nice foods, nice selection. Some very nice sales people, but there are a few that are not very friendly at all. Prices are quite high but it's understandable for certain items.

Outdoor food stalls just outside King's Cross station A must for any visitor to London Pricey but worth it for the experience.

Some tasty looking stuff on these stalls although it can be pricey. My favourites are the cake and brownie stands which are comparable with prices elsewhere. There are a decent number of places nearby to sit down with your food if the weather is favourable.

It's ok...the guy who does smoked salmon sells some good stuff. But a lot of it just feels like cynical hipster baiting, selling stuff that should be a quid and charging a fiver for it because people who walk through kings cross don't know any better.

We got some Moroccan cuisine last time we visited our capital. It was gorgeous, bit pricey but damn tasty!

The CrossTown stall is open around 8:30 . I pass by this location every day for work. I have bought Matcha and truffle several times! So soft and have enough sweetness. You won't feel that heaviness, fullness that you usually get after eating the doughnuts.

Not the usual bounce around today at about quarter past four. Made a purchase of three scotch eggs that were divine last time I bought them but were very chewy this evening - wonder how fresh they were. I think last time I had the benefit of tasting them first. As I say, didn't seem the usual bouncy bouncy friendly feeling today, perhaps its a one off and a quiet day, something wasn't there which has been when I have visited previously.

Went to the Southwark food market over the weekend and had the duck confit brioche bun. They suggested Blue Cheese and nearly put me into a (good) food coma. Really great posh street food. The duck fat fries were just as good! And with truffle mayo! This really was posh food! And soooooooooooo good. Will stalk them to eat more for sure.

Found this online while researching trip to UK. A must visit for any foodies coming from the states. Similar food truck rally vibe except out of tents, with a distinct UK or European feel. Not your typical heavy UK meals (pies) either. Very eclectic. Small but a huge selection of continental cuisine.

One of my favourite food markets in London! Slightly more upmarket - and better quality - than some others. Many cuisines represented - including Moroccan, Italian, Korean, Indian, Polish, Turkish, British and many others. There are also stalls selling baked goods, cheeses and charcuterie. A great place to stop for a quick lunch at the weekend and explore the South Bank. Shout out to the Caribbean curry stall in particular!

Favourite food market in London hands down. Just a terrific selection of traders every week, lots of places to sit down and chow down and it's in a convenient location along the Thames, Southbank Centre and London Eye - would give it 6 stars if I could!

Cracking weekend spot to grab something interesting for lunch. Having said that I generally always go for the pork roast! Some great stalls for cheese and desserts. Don't forget the crepes and churros.

Great diverse range of food for anyone and everyone. Cheaper than over local restaurants and great quality of food cooked infront of you. Visited twice before and will 100% be back every time I'm in London. Located right next to the London eye, aquarium etc. so convenient to get to if you are visiting. Remember to bring cash!

The real food market located behind the royal festival hall on the London Southbank is an eclectic mix of food stalls with fresh food to take away, such as freshly made breads, mezzes, olives, gelato etc as well as street foods to eat on the spot, such as carribean curries, spicy korean, indian dosa's. We tried the chick pea dosa's a vegetarian wrap with chick pea and potato curry which was a nice and spicy treat; and the tandoori chicken and massala fries which was nicely cooked and spiced. The market is not massive, but it offers some delicious smells and treats for a walk along the Southbank

I come here every few weeks for the great food and atmosphere. Not too crowded and service is good. Location is really close to the river and waterloo train station. So a good place to meet friends and grab some food on route to somewhere else.

Small but great market with plenty of options, usually every weekend. Bruschetta stall is wonderful. Churros always a busy one...
