The best brunch in Brighton & Hove hands down. The staff are so wonderful and kind. The food is always the best, every time I come there’s something new and exciting on the menu too. The biscoff pancakes can’t be beaten!

A bit of a lacklustre experience after expecting great things. The main problem was that the eggs were teeny tiny and a very aneamic pale lemon colour....not the sign of a good quality egg at all.I asked where they sourced their eggs and the response was that they were currently using a different company and that the chef knew they were not up to standard! It was hoped that if we came again they'd be back to better quality. The tables were sticky as if not really cleaned that well and the coffee a bit on the bitter side. I felt the staff overall were great...if perhaps a little keen to hetbthe bill to us....it didn't feel like we'd stick around over another coffee and leisurely do the Sunday crossword as we planned. Overall with tip, £47 for an eggs benedict and full English breakfast with a couple of teas/coffees. Sadly over rated for the price.Loos lacking a workable hand drier when we went.

This review comes with a warning. If you visit here for brunch you are unlikely to want to go anywhere else for brunch again. We ordered four different meals between and every single one was a winner. Portion sizes are extremely generous and if you are not that hungry you could probably easily share one. Frumpets, waffles, the “Oeuf” range, all superb. Probably the best value eating out experience and great service too.

Very noisy Sunday lunch & the crab was drowned. Lovely building * outside on a nice day would be lovely. Much prefer the Ivy at similar cost for brunch.

First visit for my son’s birthday today. We arrived to a nice hand written card which was such a special touch. Food was really lovely, we tried the hashinator and berry pancakes. Portions are generous and the cafe is beautifully decorated. It was busy but relaxing, the tables are nicely spaced out and our waiter was great. Will definitely be back.

We visited this brunch cafe after seeing all the amazing reviews and photos and sooo glad we came! The staff were all so friendly and service was faultless and we will be sure to return if ever in Brighton, As others say, portions are huge so will cover your breakfast, lunch and then some! I had the berry & banana pancakes which were heavenly, best pancakes ever and my husband lived his hashinater stack!

What a glorious place! Oeuf truly is a hidden gem-complete with a secret garden, that fits in beautifully with its surroundings on Third Avenue. A big airy room with velvet sofas & decor that is easy on the eye & and superb brunch menu. Locally sourced stunning food & drinks & plenty of it! Top tip-don’t eat beforehand & you probably won’t need much later….they don’t skimp on portions & it’s so delicious, you’ll clean your plate! Oh & absolutely book-this place is POPULAR. Unsurprisingly.

Such a lovely option for breakfast, great location with a short walk to the sea. We booked but with it being opening time it wasn’t too busy. The food was incredible the only thing I would say it is A LOT of food! Staff were great and chatty, would highly recommend.

Lovely, lovely cafe to go and have breakfast lunch or tea in. The people who work there are so nice and the service is great as is the food. Had a bacon sandwich which was the nicest have ever had as the bread was fluffy and the bacon cooked so nicely it took it onto a whole new level. They always have beautiful cards and artwork and things for sale ~ reminded me that I need to go there for Christmas gifts as it’s so lovely to get a handcrafted local artist item for not a lot ~ and it makes for such a personal present Bought a Brighton calendar and also a piece of framed art of the pier for a friend as a gift and am so pleased with them both. Note to self to go there for presents as well as a yummy stop off for some delicious food and drinks. Thank you 🙏

Just had to wait 40 minutes for breakfast and missed our train. I was told that the delay was because they were very busy, which clearly wasn’t true as the place wasn’t full. Our order had obviously got forgotten even though they were overstaffed. I counted 4 people serving about 15 customers. The staff were happily talking about their holidays and dating, and taking cigarette breaks, rather than checking the orders had been processed. The chef even came out for a coffee break and gossip - while we had been waiting 30 mins. In fairness they did apologise profusely and took some items off the bill. The breakfast was ok when it came but certainly not worth the wait.
