The restaurant itself was very good looking aswell as kind staff, however the food falls short. The portions are of a large size but overall lacked a sophisticated taste that the prices inferred.

We love Oeuf! We visited because we’d seen that they’ve just won Best Brunch in Brighton & Hove - and it turns out that’s absolutely well deserved. The menu is varied, imaginative and fun. I had the Korean Fried Chicken stack and my other half had the eggs Benedict. Both were really great. The cooking was spot on. Add in the excellent coffee and friendly service (thank you Melissa!) and it’s a winning combination. I strongly advise booking - they were packed out but we booked on the day and snagged a lovely window table. We’re looking forward to a repeat visit soon.

Wonderful brunch. Food and drinks were incredible and the atmosphere was perfect. Special thanks to Dan who served us, he was friendly, attentive and took a genuine interest in us. Kudos to him for making our post ultra marathon brunch a special one!

We booked for my daughters 20th birthday and wow what a wonderful place. From arriving to leaving everything was fantastic. Our waitress was Melissa and she made us feel so special. All in all it was a wonderful experience and we will most certainly be coming back. Highly recommend Oeuf Cafe for any event or just for a lovely meal out.

After a glowing recommendation from my daughter I was very happy to be having breakfast at oeuf. I ordered the crab and crayfish with the nori seaweed after quite a long wait our order arrived the crab and crayfish was very wet as if just defrosted and the nori seaweed was fridge cold.. I ate the egg and toast as we had waited so long I was hungry. When it came to paying I did mention the fact that the seafood was very wet and the nori was cold.. the waiter said I will mention it to the chef. You are only as good as your last meal oeuf..I won’t be returning

Lunch with a friend was disappointing. She had one poached egg with her dish which had a hard yolk. Mine came with 2 poached eggs - one with a hard yolk the second undercooked with a very runny white. These went back to the kitchen, better the second time but one still had runny white. Considering eggs are used in all dishes, especially poached, I would hope for better. Much better and cheaper places for a good lunch.

The last time I went to Oeuf I had the Plant Full English which was delicious. This time I had the Berry Pancakes (vegan) which were also delicious BUT three thick pancakes is too much for one person, hence 3 stars as most couldn’t be eaten and it cost £14. It would be better if there was the option to purchase one pancake and combine it with a savoury dish beforehand, otherwise I would recommend to share with friends to avoid waste.

A bit of a lacklustre experience after expecting great things. The main problem was that the eggs were teeny tiny and a very aneamic pale lemon colour....not the sign of a good quality egg at all.I asked where they sourced their eggs and the response was that they were currently using a different company and that the chef knew they were not up to standard! It was hoped that if we came again they'd be back to better quality. The tables were sticky as if not really cleaned that well and the coffee a bit on the bitter side. I felt the staff overall were great...if perhaps a little keen to hetbthe bill to us....it didn't feel like we'd stick around over another coffee and leisurely do the Sunday crossword as we planned. Overall with tip, £47 for an eggs benedict and full English breakfast with a couple of teas/coffees. Sadly over rated for the price.Loos lacking a workable hand drier when we went.

The best brunch in Brighton & Hove hands down. The staff are so wonderful and kind. The food is always the best, every time I come there’s something new and exciting on the menu too. The biscoff pancakes can’t be beaten!

This review comes with a warning. If you visit here for brunch you are unlikely to want to go anywhere else for brunch again. We ordered four different meals between and every single one was a winner. Portion sizes are extremely generous and if you are not that hungry you could probably easily share one. Frumpets, waffles, the “Oeuf” range, all superb. Probably the best value eating out experience and great service too.

Very noisy Sunday lunch & the crab was drowned. Lovely building * outside on a nice day would be lovely. Much prefer the Ivy at similar cost for brunch.

First visit for my son’s birthday today. We arrived to a nice hand written card which was such a special touch. Food was really lovely, we tried the hashinator and berry pancakes. Portions are generous and the cafe is beautifully decorated. It was busy but relaxing, the tables are nicely spaced out and our waiter was great. Will definitely be back.

We visited this brunch cafe after seeing all the amazing reviews and photos and sooo glad we came! The staff were all so friendly and service was faultless and we will be sure to return if ever in Brighton, As others say, portions are huge so will cover your breakfast, lunch and then some! I had the berry & banana pancakes which were heavenly, best pancakes ever and my husband lived his hashinater stack!

What a glorious place! Oeuf truly is a hidden gem-complete with a secret garden, that fits in beautifully with its surroundings on Third Avenue. A big airy room with velvet sofas & decor that is easy on the eye & and superb brunch menu. Locally sourced stunning food & drinks & plenty of it! Top tip-don’t eat beforehand & you probably won’t need much later….they don’t skimp on portions & it’s so delicious, you’ll clean your plate! Oh & absolutely book-this place is POPULAR. Unsurprisingly.

Such a lovely option for breakfast, great location with a short walk to the sea. We booked but with it being opening time it wasn’t too busy. The food was incredible the only thing I would say it is A LOT of food! Staff were great and chatty, would highly recommend.

Entró y volvió a salir.

Traditional pub on the seafront at Rottingdean. Snug downstairs bar and an upstairs room with an attractive balcony. Real beer (mainly or entirely Harvey's) and a good selection of food. No parking. Bus stop (several routes) and (crowded) public car park nearby.

Lovely food and staff, was very quiet when we went on a Sunday which the staff said was rare so prepare for it to be a bit busy I had lamb and my mum had pork, the Yorkshires were amazing No coke on tap which is sad but can be forgiven

Best brunch/cafe around! Pancakes are delicious and American style with maple and streaky bacon (writing as an American, I really appreciate this ☺️). Mushrooms are unexpectedly delicious! Can be a bit crowded/noisy on weekends but who can blame the crowds? It's an obvious choice for a laid-back coffee or, even better, chocolate chai latte.
