£10.99 for an adults breakfast n both my children ate free . £10. 99 for 3 full English breakfast with pancakes n croissant with fresh juice also .... Bargain

Went here for a meal after taking my mother to hospital service was good very polite staff , the toilets needed a good clean look like they haven't been cleaned for days , the windows as you come through to entrance needed a wipe fingerprint son them and the windows by fire exit were really bad , food wasn't too good as well

Myself and my family walked over to the Brewers Fayre from a hotel in the city centre as the food choices were limited in our area. This restaurant is just like a cheap pub - a large bar, a pub-like seating area and some restaurant tables. The food was standard - we had some picky bits and enjoyed but it wasn’t anything out of the ordinary.

Went for carvery supposed to b till 6pm but they ad run out of meat on carvery at 3pm really bad planning by chef or management never ad this problem in my life ...unbelievable tbh never go here again ...in the end we ad 2 make do with food off main menu which was OK

Had a well valued 3 course meal this evening with the wife. The gentleman serving was incredibly attentive and polite. Overall a very nice experience.

Been here lots of times and had good food. But this time not good. Lots of items unavailable from the menu. Drinks machine just water. No coffee! Table and menus dirty. The staff are great..very polite and welcoming...but we left unhappy.

I don't understand why this place has a low star rating. 3 hours free parking, open buffet breakfast 11 pounds per person. I think it's good

Went here for Father's Day was overpriced with small plates. Gravy was watery. I won't be returning. Toilets were disgusting toilet paper everywhere, toilet seats were broken and ganging off, and there was no soap in the dispenser. God knows when they were last cleaned, and we've just gone through a pandemic, too. Shocking!

Having stayed at the Premier Inn next door, we had breakfast ar the Brewers Fayre, (from the hot counter, bacon ect) I had to leave mine, as the food was cold even though i plated it up & went to sit straight down with it, really disappointed as we have eaten at different Brewers fayre's before and not been disappointed.

Visited for my mums birthday. The food was what you'd expect from a chain carvery - good portions and not unreasonably priced. I really liked that the veg was unlimited so you could go up.for more if you wanted (not that it was needed). If I were to improve it - I'd prefer fresh roasties to frozen, but I understand that to keep costs down, frozen sometimes have to be used. The service was excellent- the waitress asked if there were any dietary requirements and helped us check that my mum was fine to eat what she wanted. Then the chef on the carvery was extremely pleasant and had the gift of the gab! Sometimes, it's the littlest details like the waitress and chef interactions that change what would have been a good 3/4 star review to this 4/4.5 star review!

Stayed at the adjacent premier inn for two nights - Friday and Saturday. After a long journey, me and my friends popped to the bar at 10pm to get just one drink and relax. Despite being advertised as open until 11pm, the bar staff said that they'd been busy during the day and were closing at 10pm. The next morning I went with my son for breakfast and it was quite poor. We weren't offered anything to order and the hot food that was out was only luke warm at best - cold beans are never going to be good! We had pre-booked so we ate in the restaurant on the Saturday evening, the food was mixed. My main was very nice (Katsu curry) but my son's burger was cold - seems to be a timing issue maybe on the food. The Champions League final was on and the staff kindly put it on the TVs which was great. They did however amend the opening hours again with no notice so at 9.45pm we were all being ushered outside - the game had barely finished but there were staff on the outside doors making sure people were out and didn't come back in. Never experienced a pub/restaurant kicking people out an hour before the advertised closing time before, it was quite unfriendly and would put me off returning.

Friendly place, but very slow service. Waited over 55 minutes for food (dinner service). Wouldn’t serve cocktails as “it was too busy”. Also ate the breakfast, it wasn’t too bad bacon was almost raw and the eggs to order weren’t able to be cooked. You either got a fried egg or some sort of scrambled egg. Everything else was nice. Some takes were a little grubby from the night before but there were plenty of others to choose from. Has a few fruit machines and a pool table. Couple of vending machines for the kids. Free parking if you check-in your car at the door. Queue times - there weren’t any.

I work all over the uk as a contractor and can honestly say The manager here is 1 of the nicest kindest guys I've ever met in my entire life this guy really has restored my faith in humanity and is an asset to the company really could not wish for more .food was great beer also very good atmosphere is brilliant and all staff are fantastic and welcoming polite and friendly me and my team were extremely happy if brewers fayre read this your manager needs a pay rise !!!

Always a favourite with our fam. Reasonably priced tasty food and super friendly staff who can't do enough for you and go out of their way to ensure you have a good experience. Lovely vegan options too (the cheese pie and the cauliflower bites) winner!

Had a lovely meal. But on Monday afternoon, there was no soap in the ladies toilet. The sanitary bins were full and the door to the ladies is stuck so it's wide open to the bar not very private. This needs addressing ASAP.

Used as staying in the Premier Inn next door and although dinner was as expected and normal Brewers Fayre, we were really impressed with Breakfast. Having stayed in a fair few hotels with work, the breakfast was one of the better ones I've had.

I've not tried the food. Pop in from time to time for a drink after work. Staff are always pleasant .and always a good atmosphere in there.

Daniels service was outstanding polite and warm welcoming. All the staff are friendly and polite. I had 3 evenings here and no complaint. Staff are an asset to the company.

Travelling back home via a visit to Cardiff decided to stop for a breakfast. The server Stacey was friendly helpfull and chatty asking several times if everything was OK. The food breakfast experience was as expected we have used several locations. Plenty of choice of food and drink. Ty for the parking tip.

Good atmosphere with friends service was ok but staff didn't know who to answer questions such as is it Gluten free. And food was ok when it came out but nothing to write home about

Left waiting at the bar for a long time before service. Service was good but smiles were fake. Staff were tired and overworked, and it seems there are no staff available after 2pm today so they're closing early for the day. Terrible news for the business. I hope you get better, but I won't be back to find out.

Couldn’t eat there, snack was going to take 45 mins minimum to deliver. Place was packed, obviously very popular for all the best reasons.

Lovely! Staff were all soooo nice! 3 of us had a carvery - there was plenty available and everything was lovely! They were fully booked - but it was still nice and quiet- no music blasting- will definitely go back!

Better than average chain pub. Popular with contractors from hotel next-door, so does get busy, also used by a few locals so has a bit of character.

I went to brewers fayre on the 2nd of September 2023 as I had a 40% voucher to use so I brought with me my mum and my brother and my boyfriend .Me and my boyfriend and brother had a mixed grill and my mum wanted the fish pie but it wasn't available so she rushed to choose something else and she chose cheesy pie and green peas and carrots and gravy the mixed grills were lovely but my mum wasn't happy with her meal as no pie crust was hard and there was no green peas and she didn't like the carrots as she has problem eating due to having new false teeth I did complain and they went to the chef all I got was he didn't relaize which I wasn't happy with at all my mum was left hungry and she was asking us for food off our plates

On leaving Cardiff that morning for Swansea we thought we would give Brewers Fayre a go. Nicely situated just out of Cardiff and easy to get to we went for a breakfast. Quite a busy little place but as it is adjacent to a Premier Inn that is the reason mainly . As what seems to be the normal now, you have to input your vehicle reg into the console upon entry. We paid £17.99 for an unlimited breakfast & a continental breakfast. Along with the cooked breakfast, you had choices of cereal, toast and yoghurt. The bacon was nice but the eggs were swimming in liquid and trying to actually get one one your plate was like a Fisherman trying to land a catch.... It just kept sliding off the slice utensil everytime. Only the bacon & beans were edible so didn't really entice me to benefit from the unlimited part. The 2 bowls of Kellogs cereal had to surfice. Also there was only plain Greek yoghurt, no other flavours so I suppose the bowl of fruit provided next to them was the 'flavoured' bit option. Nice atmosphere in the dining area and the staff friendly but the food isn't quite as it should be. Can't comment on other food options later in the day so hopefully better

The two girls serving us were amazing from start to finish. Nothing was too much and they really interacted with our children and were really helpful (one was called Fay). Food was lovely too.

Had a breakfast there few days ago we found the food just warm not hot enough and a bit dried up to be honest, plus we had a coffee cup that had a large crack in it and was leaking a lot, mentioned it to staff was told they will throw it away later.

Gross food. Tasted microwaved . If the microwave was broken

Edit July 2023. Booked, arrived to be told I hadn't booked. Staff member then said even if we stayed half the menu was unavailable. He was rude and the place stank stale. We didnt stay. Will never return. It's ok. Little grubby inside. Staff bit off. Menu same old.

Nothing wrong with the food, drinks and service. I just can't understand why they have the camera system, for entry and exit it you forget to get your vehicle registered. You'll end up in court paying, hundreds of pounds in car park fines. These parking systems don't work, only cause misery. They will be the downfall for all of these trading venues.

Great place away from the main public. Good for, good beer on tap and a good pool table. Staff are brilliant

Food took over half an hour was wasn't really busy and wasn't very hot..I have been a few time over the last few month and the cleanest of the restaurant is not very good needs improvement...I did say to a member of staff about the sauce on the wooden ceiling on route to the toilets and 4 months later still there and glass doors on first arriving need a clean other an the cleanest need improvement staff very friendly...hope to return and things are corrected 😊

Food was ok. Wouldn't return though. We ordered garlic bread at £4.19 for 2 tiny slices. We could have made a baguette of it for half that. Place looks in desperate need of a refurb too.

Staff are always helpful and polite. Usually visit early afternoon maybe oncea month. Food is classic pub grub, nothing special but reasonable prices and cooked nicely. Chefs and FOH are always really helpful with my excessive and weird food sensitivities/allergies. It outshines any Spoons/Greene King/Marstons/Brains venues in the vicinity.

Went there as a starter before going to town. Staff were very welcoming and good fun especially as we were all dressed up for a stag do. Very accommodating and beers tasted great. Food was good. Great value. Thanks team!

Went for Sunday roast here at 5pm and they had ran out of carvery so couldn't have that, then a few other things we suggested they also didn't have. I settled on a winner winner chicken dinner that was charcoaled chicken with microwaved soggy roast potatoes, they didnt have the veg so had left over veg from the carvery, the potatoes gratin just tasted like raw garlic and there wasnt much veg left to choose from. The kids had sausage and mash that was rock hard microwave mash and cheap Sausages. Made us pay an extra £1 each for the kids desserts which we thought we had paid for the meal deal so ended up paying extra on top that we didnt need to. They serve better food in Cardiff Prison. I would give a 0 star out of 5 if I could

Went for carvery on Mother's Day. Meat was lovely with generous portions, as we're the large Yorkshire puds. Vegetables were very undercooked though. Ladies toilets were out of order when we were there as well, so I had to use the disabled toilet. Staff were friendly, the bar had a limited range of draft beers though.

Ate breakfast here one Sunday morning as we were staying at the neighbouring premier inn. Service is good, staff are friendly and attentive. The breakfast was just not very good. Cheap sausages, overdone fried eggs, hard hashbrowns. Just all a bit ropey.

Honestly might be the worst food I've ever eaten - both my meal and my partner's meal were cold, bland, and waaaay overpriced. However, staff were great, and everything was clean.

Order 3 different meals before we found 1 they actually had. Salad had chunks of raw carrots not shredded as on menu and tomatoes had black bits on the skins. Felt sorry for Faye, the manageress, having to keep refunding and saying sorry for no support from the Company

It was a lovely place to eat. I went with my large family (10+) and they managed to accommodate a table for us so we could all sit together. I'd recommend booking in advance first so you can get a guaranteed table as it can be quite busy. The food was good value for money and quickly served. The carvery had a large selection and although not as great as homemade, was still lovely. Would visit again!

I'm so confused why anyone would come to one of these places if they aren't just a hotel guest getting a meal included in their stay. The service is terrible, all the tables are sticky, the food is awful. Just go to anywhere else 😂

The breakfast items were cold and dried out. The continental items were being cleared away despite there being an hour left of breakfast service left. The staff were loud and totally inappropriate. Not at all professional. Such a shame.

Stayed at premier inn adjacent to brewers, good breakfast. Popped over in the evening for a couple of drinks but there's so much they just didn't have. OK so the staff are fantastic, best I've ever encountered, this helps but please sort your stocks out and this is a true 5* establishment.

We have attended here a few times now and the staff here are always happy to help and are very punctual. In particular Helena stands out as she is quick to great you at the door and makes you feel at ease the whole time you are there. She is an asset to the company. Brewers Fayres can be abit hit n miss.But this one for our evening meal and breakfast the following morning was excellent. Staff and food on both occasions could not be faulted. We could not have been better looked after had we been in the Savoy Grill. Many thanks to the young manager and her team.5/5

Staff were rude toilets were dirty we were out on a day out from home so pit stop before heading back home people had come in 20 mins after us and wed orderd before them etc and when it came the food was awfull over cooked not very hot steak was medium was like jelly was vile experjence would never go back or reccomend

Breakfast was buffet style here, the flooring around the tea/coffee area was sticky as was our table. The food was plentiful but poorly cooked, mushrooms were almost raw, sausages barely cooked, and eggs as hard as nails. Staff were friendly

Love going to Ocean Park, the meals are lovely and hot, and the staff are so friendly and helpful.

This is actually a Premier Inn breakfast, eggs cut into weird shapes and over cooked, mushrooms raw, bacon grey and clearly gone off before cooked as sone was the correct pink colour , tables sticky, menu pages stuck together, salt and pepper grinders not working, people actually nice so can’t understand the disconnect !

I was informed by reception staff at the Premier Inn that breakfast was served until 11am. Me and my family booked breakfast for 10.30 with them. When we turned up the chef ignored us and started removing the dishes from the buffet. He could have waited 5 minutes for us to fill our plates. He was however adamant that he did not have the time and was not going to wait for us. Unprofessional, poor customer service, rude chef and staff at this place. Disgusted. Would not recommend. Premier Inn customers, head to Dinos Cafe on Cowbridge Rd around 10 minutes away and have a better breakfast for the same price.

I stayed her for one night thank God food was terrible Firstly went to bar to order food my feet was sticking to the tiles floor around the bar area Orderd food an a pint of Guiness Pint tasted bad Chicken goujons came very dark and overcooked horrible Orderd Steak to follow sirloin found this was horrible so left it a server came near my table said everything ok with your meal before I could answer she turned away and said ok then thanks When the guy came to take away he asked me about the Steak I said it was terrible Breakfast no better told before I sat down there is no milk no orange juice someone had had to go out to get some cooked breakfast all you can eat if you dare All barley warm no bread no eggs undercooked Bacon sausages had just come out the kitchen again barley warm tasted like these where cooked the day before left to cool the microwaved Very poor unkempt Manager can not manage or oversee this should not be in a job in my opinion Thanks for a horrible time
