Nice views but service charge added on when I ordered one drink standing at the bar. The bar tender wasn't present and didn't even ask what I wanted. Just stood there and I had to lean across to keep awkwardly talking. Then he started pouring a double without even asking. I had to change it to a single. Stop charging service charge for someone just doing their job and doing it poorly at that! Increase your prices instead.

On 14th April 2025, I had a scheduled appointment to meet someone at your premises. Upon arrival, I was met with unprofessional and disrespectful behaviour from the security guys (around 50+yo/black guy). Despite explaining my purpose for visiting, the guard aggressively questioned me, raised his voice in front of others, and treated me like an intruder. When I called the reception for clarification while specifying the application that sent me to the restaurant. The staff member informed me that my name was not on the reservation list and that no one would come to escort me if security does not want to let me in—which was surprising, given my confirmed appointment from the app’s name, my name and the name of the person that was waiting for me inside. Her tone was unprofessional, resembling fast-food or budget-hotel service rather than the high standards your establishment claims to uphold. She even cited my outfit as a reason for denial, despite my attire being perfectly appropriate and casual, more polished than many others entering without issue. Eventually, the person I was supposed to meet sent someone to confirm that my name was, in fact, on their list. However, by that point, the disrespect and poor treatment had already made me uncomfortable, and I chose to leave. This experience reflects poor service standards, especially for an institution that promotes professionalism and exclusivity. The lack of courtesy, misinformation, and discriminatory judgment from both security and reception staff was unacceptable. I expect better from an organization that claim a good reputation.

Lovely! Came here for the champagne afternoon tea with a friend after redeeming a voucher from timeout. The view was incredible and we got lucky with the sunny weather! Overall, this was a really great yap session as the atmosphere was really beautiful and relaxing, and the food was nice. I will say, there was nothing majorly impressive or special about the food, some of the sandwiches were a little dry and the scones were underwhelming. Although, you are allowed to ask for a refill of anything, be it tea or food at any time, but given the volume of food provided on the first pass it is unlikely you'll reorder much.

Recommended for everything: location, service and quality of food. The waiter asked us if we were there for a particular event and, since my girlfriend and I were celebrating her birthday, he brought the happy birthday themed dessert.

Amazing food , amazing service. Most of all amazing view !! We were looking after very well by the staff. Ribeye steak was amazing according to my wife, best ever she tasted !! Would not hesitate to come again.

It is worth every penny paid in this beautiful restaurant, the views are wonderful, the service was 100% from our waiter Kevin and the food surpasses the exceptional, I would return on my next visit to London, it far exceeded what we expected.

Soooo happy they’ve brought back the Sunday Roast it was madness when they removed it!! I had the roast with wagu beef which was amazing! Roast potatoes were pretty epic too.

Went for afternoon tea which was excellent. Smooth security checks, food was good and service was impeccable. Slightly annoyed that we rang and checked about being able to wear trainers to be told no but on arrival, nearly everyone had them on. Other than that, great time!

Well the views are great! We paid a little extra to guarantee a window seat which felt worth it. However the service was very slow and it wasn't even that busy. Some nice bits of food but the bread was quite bland.

Had the vegan afternoon tea, it’s was so overpriced and didn’t taste good at all. The price also didn’t include a glass of bubbly. £65 for a very very mediocre selection of sandwiches and cakes :( the venue was nice though and the views too, but unfortunately the quality of the food was a big let down.

We had a very pleasant time at Oblix. All the three starters that we ordered were absolutely delicious, so I can highly recommend beef tartar (bread with cheddar and truffle served on side is something really special), truffle flatbread (which also served a bit as a dessert thanks to honey notes), and artichoke. The service was top too, attentive but not overwhelming. And of course, the views are incredible (you don't need to go all the way to the top of Shard to get the best of it 😉). I'm glad that we paid extra for sitting next to the window, and the staff told us at the end that we could get even better views of the center from their bar on the other side.

Fantastic view point over the city with divine food and good service. No, it isn't cheap, but the food was exquisite and of very high quality. The beef tartare, flat bread and artichoke starters were so tasty and big enougg to share for a light but satisfying meal. Due to tube delays we missed the sunset, but the view at night with the city lights were gorgeous. Be sure to book in advance and it's worth paying the extra 20 quid to sit next to the window if you want the good views.

The food was very tasty, but the customer service wasn’t great. It’s an expensive and busy spot, always fully booked, which I find a bit frustrating. Even though we ordered a lot mains dishes , the bill ended up being higher than we expected. I guess that's just how it is in that area. Despite that, pls always check the dietary restrictions if you allergic or you want alcohol free sauce etc I still loved the experience! Our waiter was incredibly kind and helpful with all our meal choices. Overall, it was a nice outing!"

OMG!!! Today, my friend and I enjoyed some red wine and ordered a few dishes. We absolutely loved the beef tartare! As for the buttermilk chicken, I highly recommend the honey, lime & chili glaze—it was amazing! This flavor was recommended by the staff call Man, who was incredibly attentive and took the time to introduce each dish to us. His professionalism truly impressed us! The service exceeded our expectations, and the beautiful London skyline made the experience even more perfect. I’ll definitely be recommending this place to all people!

Great view but not the food - snacks - could be better for the place like this!

Great atmosphere, great food, the staff has been amazingly kind and ready to make our dinner perfect. The cocktails at the bar weren't the best, at least not at food's level.

Your tables were not nice at all what a horrible tables it needs to be cover with a white clothes big name like Oblix the place should be a wild factor but unfortunately it wasn't also some food was too salty the lobster was fine the champagne also needs to be shown to us before opening the guy was wiping the table like school classroom or some restaurant in the market or cheap restaurant in the corner shop not good atall remember you're very expensive so please do things right your services charge is also way to expensive no where to hang your cotes

Lovely Atmosphere, good service unfortunately the furniture doesn’t do justice to the place especially the tables,nice white table cloth will be appropriate to match the napkins or replace the tops. It had scratches and marks and kept wiping like School Tables. Had a lovely time there.

Oblix is one of my favorite spots for a special meal. I always bring guests here when I’m looking to nock their socks off with amazing views and mouth watering food. The restaurant has beautiful decoration and great service always. I’ve tried most things in the menu, but I highly recommend the seafood tower if you’re with a party - it’s absolutely delicious and the presentation is insane! I’ve also had the steaks, broccoli, ribs, triple cooked chips, green beans, and so much more. Everything has been very delicious and never had any issues here. Highly recommend this restaurant but be aware it is expensive but you pay for what you get.

I strongly advise everyone to avoid Oblix in The Shard. I had a booking for Valentine's Day, but unfortunately, my partner was unable to attend due to health issues. I cancelled the booking two days in advance, but found it difficult to contact them regarding this matter. I sent several emails detailing my partner's situation and the distress she has been experiencing over the past few weeks. I received a response from Judith expressing her condolences; however, she stated that they were unable to refund my deposit due to their policy. This is a very serious issue for anyone to face, and it is disappointing to see them use this as an excuse to retain the deposit, especially when I tried to cancel well in advance. I even communicated with them two days prior, explaining that I could not confirm the booking due to my partner's ill health, and they still informed me that they could not guarantee that my reservation would be held till the end of the evening. In terms of the food, I would rate it as mediocre at best, but what truly stands out is the lack of empathy shown by this establishment towards their customers and difficult situations. I would urge everyone to steer clear of this restaurant.

An unforgettable experience! Seeing London in daylight gradually turning into evening/night light, from the Shard was spectacular! (I booked *2 months prior on the 1st of Dec 24). The staff were delightful, especially Anastasija, Monika & Francesco, with any query. The atmosphere was pleasant/dark in the corridors but great views of Central London. And of course, the 3 courses we all opted for although tasty were far *too pricey! The toilets need more attention with cleanliness & restocking.

Wow if I could give more stars I would Security was a breeze Lift to 32nd floor was so fast We got bottomless brunch and bottomless proseco and cocktails 😀😀 Highly recommended The alcohol just kept on coming We got everything of the starter menu and all were amazing The mains were delicious and so was the desert Thanks guys for a wonderful afternoon 😊

Some of the best views in London

Ok so we went here for my godsisters 30th birthday and was thoroughly disappointed. I had squid. The squid was so salty that we sent it back. The second portion was just as salty and we were told that maybe the sea salt they use was too much for our pallettes . However it was too salty for humans In my estimation. I have also never had scales on my squid from anywhere in my life. #disgusting!!!! The steak had peppercorn sauce which was really burnt tasting and flavourless .The steak was well done but overcooked and tasteless. I was thoroughly disappointed with the food in general. The staff were very professional so well done on that front.

Went to Oblix for my wife’s birthday celebration. I had expected £70 package of bouquet of flowers for my wife on to have been more than the ordinary bunch she got. An absolute disappointment! Menu was fine. The charred salmon with caviar, sour cream and horseradish was a delight. My daughter loved the seared beef carpaccio! My wife’s choice of spicy tuna tartare in avocado and citrus was delectable. The mains were lovely, but not outstanding. Meanwhile, the spanning views of London on a fine day was stunning!

Booked to celebrate my engagement, asked to bring a 4-figure priced champagne to the restaurant only to be told they don’t offer corkage. If you’re going to charge £250 for a Tomahawk steak and 2x RRP on all your wines, you can take the champagne I bring and serve it to me. It’s called good customer service, and they clearly didn’t want my custom. Will not be attending at any point in the future. Food looks decent, view is great. But, note for owners: don’t take the p*** regardless of how high-end you think you are.

If I could give 6 stars I would! On February 12, I had dinner here with my husband. The location is seriously beautiful! We were kindly received upon arrival and taken to our place. Francesco (sorry if I spelled or misheard) was one of our hosts. He asked if there was a special occasion, to which my husband replied that we were coming to dinner here for my birthday. Francesco didn't want to let this pass by and we were able to enjoy all the starters. One by one they were super delicious! Good hearty dishes, and wonderfully tasty. The portions are really more than filling. As a surprise, they also brought the dessert beautifully decorated. I couldn't have wished my birthday better, especially since I'm not from the UK. Our visit to this restaurant completed our trip. If we are in London again, we will definitely go here again. I often think back to this evening / location, but especially the nice atmosphere. Don't hesitate, reserve a spot! And then a window spot is MORE THAN recommended!

Food was delicious I highly recommend the black cod it was cooked perfectly and had an abundance of flavour, the waiters were very polite and friendly made us feel comfortable and relaxed while dining. Will certainly visit again.

Great spot with awesome views. Solid food, well-cooked and packed with flavor. Service is friendly but not over the top. Laid-back atmosphere makes it a top choice for a good meal with a view. Definitely worth checking out.

Decent gaff. It was very nice inside with great views but the drinks were overpriced and the service wasn't great, we felt invisible but to be fair we didn't really look like we belonged there. Maybe if you're a big shot with deep pockets they treat you differently, but I wouldn't know. Curiosity killed the cat on the 'Born a star' cocktail, it was just a slightly worse pornstar martini in a poncy box.

But the service was really outstanding, with a wonderful, polite, attentive and caring team. So welcoming and making us feel so special. Had the bottomless brunch at Oblix West on Saturday afternoon. This gives you unlimited orders on all the starters - to which they are all lovely and very filling. I loved the beef carpaccio! I paid £14 extra for the ribeye steak for the main course - very nice cook on the steak, unfortunately was too full from the starters to enjoy the mains where I had them in takeout box after. 😂 Overall a lovely experience, superb view (think you need to pay extra £20 for window seats) but I arrived early enough to get the table behind which still had good view.

We came here as a special treat for our daughters birthday. We specifically chose the bar area as we were aware we had young children with us. (Who may I add were well behaved without). We were looked down upon from the minute we got there and told immediately we could only sit on the high bar stools. We were sat next to someone who was clearly working from there whilst he ate his lunch as he was constantly on his laptop and taking calls. I asked if we could sit at another table where it was better suited for eating a meal. I was told the table was reserved for afternoon tea. Yet the whole time we were there they never set the table and guests didn't arrive. I wouldn't hurry to go back. Perhaps if you're a certain elite member of society they will be falling over themselves to help you, otherwise you'll be set aside and they'll happily take your money regardless.

The finest experience of dining above the city. Thoroughly impressed with the food and service. The effort made to accommodate dairy free and still provide excellent alternatives was not lost on me. I loved this brunch. Opted for bottomless on both the food and drink, incredible. No regrets. Highly recommend the carpaccio and the tuna tartare. The starters are moreish so I chose a Dover Sole for mains. I’m glad I did as it was light but very tasty, and together with the whole meal was a perfect compliment. For vegans the artichoke and peppers alternative was sublime.

The experience was tremendous. Service was good, but very slow refilling drinks on the additionally purchased Prosecco and Cocktails package. The limitless selection and quality of starters was fabulous and highly recommended. Unfortunately the £29 additional cost to opt for a “whole” lobster was very disappointing. Not only was it not a ‘whole’ lobster it consisted mainly of claw meat placed back into a pre cooked tail! The lemon/garlic dressing unfortunately overpowered the lobster taste. The crab and lobster eggs Benedict on the other has was superb. We did get the extra £29 deducted from our bill but it did ruin the experience.

I was extremely frustrated to find out that the bar food was unavailable without any prior notice. When I booked, there was no mention that due to Valentine’s Day, the regular bar menu would be replaced with a set menu. This completely ruined my evening, as I was unable to eat there. For a venue of this standard, such a lack of communication is unacceptable. It should have been made clear at the time of booking. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone simply because of how poorly this was handled.

Service was not up to expectation waiter served mains to everyone at table before the boning fish for last guest, because of this all food got cold, when we where paying he told us that the service was for the company but we could add extra service on card machine this after we were charged 14% service, very poor way to treat customers

I took my boyfriend here for his birthday. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was delicious. The service was great as well my only thing I would say is between meals and drinks we felt a bit rushed but other than that we really had a great time with amazing views.

An underwhelming afternoon tea. Sandwiches were just starting to dry and had more mayonnaise and cream cheese than the actual filling. Scones were nearer to bread rolls and rubbery. Cakes were overly complex, overly sweet and more suited to a dessert rather than an accompaniment to afternoon tea. Service was excellent and couldn't be faulted. The Assam Breakfast tea was outstanding. Cocktails are also excellent. If you're going for the view you'll be pleased.

Oblix at the Shard is a must if you enjoy great food and a stellar view. My family and I enjoyed a meal here in January 2025 for the last dinner of our Europe trip. Benjamin provided excellent service during our meal. Husband and I tried one of the tasting menus and we were blown away by the flavors, textures, presentation and quality of each dish. One of our kids had the pasta with truffles and said it was his best meal of our 2 week trip. We paid to reserve a table by the window and it was worth it to us to have the view. Oblix at the Shard delivered an excellent experience for our family. Highly recommend!!

Incredible really, especially the view!!

Absolutely amazing!! Great food and the service was great

It was my first time dining at Oblix & my partner wanted to bring me there for the fantastic view in an amazing architecture, as well as to celebrate our love. However, the restaurant is definitely overhyped and if anyone wants high-end dining, this place is not it. Service was cold and bad, except for one young wait staff who served our table enthusiastically. Food was mediocre. Steak (cooked medium rare) was bad, over-rested and over-seasoned. Some examples of poor service includes: 1) cooked food placed next to finished plates (see pictures) - unhygienic! Eeeks!!!! No any decent eating place should do that!!! This in my opinion is the most shocking discovery of our visit. See photos for evidence. I only shared two here, there were more cases we observed during our time there. 2) asked for a change of plates from a bald wait staff who was probably not in-charge of our table, hence returned us with a puzzled and annoyed look for our request, took away not just my plate but also my steak knife, n gave me an incorrect knife to eat my steak with instead (see picture). (????????) 3) asked for the bill from another waiter who just continued walking without stopping and without looking at us in the eye, merely responded with a “yup” while continuing in his journey 4) asked for our coats back from the blonde lady stationed at the cloakroom but was greeted with a cold response, no “thank you”, no “we hope to see you again”…. Oblix is a once and done for us. And there are way better restaurants for that price point. Disappointing experience. Feels like most of their staff seemed unhappy and disgruntled. Felt that from the food served too.

I love the fact that the way to recognised that I arrived over there for date night and the member of staff escorted me and placed me to the best ever possible Romans table. I could’ve ever asked for!!!!!!!!! I wish you nothing more about the best for my bottom of my heart

I had my wedding reception at Oblix last weekend and I cannot say enough about the dinner. With the amazing night views of London all around us, our night was made complete by the amazingly delicious food and very good service. We loved every dish we were served, from the starters to the desserts. Every dish was impressive, even a small bowl of mashed potatoes. We would also like to thank the Oblix event team for their organisation and the staff on site on the night - they were very flexible in making adjustments for us when we arrived late. Oblix is definitely one of the best places to eat out in London and we would highly recommend it to anyone.

A great Saturday afternoon, food excellent, service brilliant and a real buzz to the place...and of course I nearly forgot the views.

I had an incredibly disappointing and dangerous experience at Oblix. Despite informing the server multiple times about my severe allergy to gelatin, I was still served food containing it. This negligence led to an allergic reaction, which could have been life-threatening. Instead of taking full accountability, the restaurant denied using gelatin in their food and offered a refund and a free dinner—which is entirely inadequate given the severity of the situation. After that, they simply stopped responding. My health and safety are worth more than a meal refund. If you have food allergies, I strongly advise against dining here. Their disregard for allergen safety shows a complete lack of care for their guests' well-being. Save yourself the risk of a terrible and potentially dangerous experience.

We were celebrating our daughter's Bday. Manager was so kind that he offered us a window seat. Alvie's service was just great. He briefed us on the menu and helped us order the right dish. Thanks Oblix for an unforgettable experience and great views.

A fantastic visit with great views of London, friendly staff and a great setting. We visited in December and although the weather wasn’t the best, it was still a fantastic experience. It is free to visit, so you can take the lift up to the bar and be seated without charge. We only visited for a few drinks, but you can dine up there with multiple options. We enjoyed several different cocktails which I would highly recommend, and had a great high table seated next to the glass, with stunning views of Tower bridge and the Tower of London. It is a great place to spend a few hours and relax, whilst enjoying the views and experiencing the tallest building in Europe. Would definitely recommend and will go back.

We had a reservation for 9pm which they called and changed it to 10pm (charging an extra $30 for the city view table) without telling us that the kitchen closes at 10:15!! I think that’s an important piece of information when changing a customer’s reservation. They ruined our anniversary

I’m not usually one to write reviews, but yesterday’s lunch was so special that I feel compelled to share it. My husband and I spent a wonderful afternoon at Oblix and our expectations, already high, were completely surpassed. The food was simply sublime: refined dishes, delicate and well-balanced flavors. But it wasn’t just the quality of the food that impressed us. The service was impeccable, with attention to detail. Ozan, who welcomed and took care of us with great care, made our experience even more special by offering us a table with a view, which added an extra touch of magic to the atmosphere. A special mention also goes to the manager, who oversaw everything with discretion and professionalism, ensuring that everything was perfect and that every need was met. An experience I highly recommend, and one we can’t wait to repeat!

We had dinner to celebrate our anniversary. It was very pleasant, the food extremely good and delicate even if the flavors all felt very good. The view is breathtaking, but I recommend requesting a seat with a view well in advance (in any case, London can be seen very well from above). Highly recommended!

Would give full marks but they do the service charge AND gratuity thing which annoys me. Food was so good that it left a greater impression than the incredible view. Maybe take a torch to read the menu in the very subdued lighting!

My wife and I went to the Oblix (west) on Tuesday 14th January 6 - 8pm. From entering the building to leaving, all the staff were excellent and friendly. We should particularly mention the waiter who served us who was outstanding. I am sorry that I did not get his name. The food was excellent. We had booked a window table which was well worth the small additional cost. The views were mesmerising. The only issue was that the 2 hours went so quickly, perhaps because we were enjoying the experience so much. Thank you all for making us so happy, it was absolutely perfect!!!

My experience was the most horrible at the Oblix restaurant ever again. In this restaurant we reserved myself and my husband for New Years 2025 for December 31st. It was just horrible. horrible. Terrible service, we were promised that there would be a show with music Nothing at all, it didn't happen at the end of the dinner. I asked the manager if he was going to see music or a show, he went to find out. He never came back It's a tourist trap never ever in my life I will return to a place like this oblix for me, I delete it from my memory, advice never went to this restaurant. There we paid 1200€ and we never got what we wanted. he makes fun of the customer for them the customer, it's just the jackpot nothing else I never thought it would look like McDonald's to avoid

It's expensive but not too crazy. Amazing view of London and attentive and lovely staff! Good for date night.

We came here as a treat after a show in London and what an amazing view of the London skyline. The staff here are amazing and very attentive to your needs. The food was brought to the table in a timely manner and described perfectly. We thoroughly enjoyed the food, the view and the live Dj. Would recommend highly

We had a good time at Oblix West and we were happy we went there. Views are just amazing. Service was superb, food was beautifully presented and the wine list absolutely impressive. Yet, some options were a bit salty and at the end after paying a big bill was utterly disgusted to visit the toilet that were worse than after a football match. With the prices and service charged management should ensure toilets are cleaned after 11pm.

Despite the view being breathtaking the food and service were outstanding. We had a sharing style appetizers and main course and the food quality is worth the price. Among our favorites we have the beef tartare, tuna tartare and black code. We also ordered the wagyu beef and it was delicious the meat was soft and melted in your mouth. The environment is nice and the live music in the bar side is the perfect ambience to end your evening on a good note. The service was friendly and everyone was kind. The only disadvantage is the location but the food and view make the trip worth!

Mrs treated me here for me birthday brunch. The views 😍 from the shard were mesmerising, breathtaking views of London from a high, just WOW !!!! UNBELIEVABLE All the food was amazing from starters, mains, deserts and drinks. My favourite was the ice cream sundae, unforgettable flavours have left me craving it everyday. Definitely will be back for more.

After a disappointing stay at the Sky Garden, the Oblix spoiled us very much. Super nice view, attentive and very courteous staff, super good food (we had booked tea time) and good tea.

Magnificent restaurant where we had dinner, everything was perfect. The only negative point was the behavior of the doorman downstairs outside.

Great experience in Oblix in the Shard, we were celebrating my birthday and had a spectacular brunch experience with a great view over central London. The food and drinks and the dessert were delicious. The service was good, but it was a bit rushed since they were busy on a Saturday afternoon. You have to pay extra to get a table by the window with the view during reservation. Would love to go back there some day.

Thank goodness for the view! Arrived for a 3.45 afternoon tea booking. Disorganised. We were not able to be seated as our table wasn’t ready and were led to wait at the bar (as were the people in front of us for a booking at the same time), The table we were eventually sat at, had been empty since we walked in. We weren’t seated until 4.10 and then rushed through to make sure our food arrived before the kitchen closed. The food was good and the view is a showstopper. However there was a large group of people on a nearby table that were clearly quite drunk and were very loud. Spoiled the ambience. Note to staff, if you are enforcing time limits, enforce them - not just on the last afternoon sitting.
