You may call it a bun, a roll, a barm, a bap or whatever you want. The one thing you can say is that in this little cafe they're freshly made and have high quality bacon and sausages. Quite possibly one of the best and most filling I've ever had in a cafe. It was also reasonably priced for a tourist destination.

Came here for a quick drink and cake. I enjoyed a tea and Bakewell blondie. The cake was okay, not extraordinary or memorable, but good enough. The prices were really reasonable. Lots of lovely outdoor seating, we enjoyed feeding the little swallows who came onto the table.

2nd visit to the Holy Island this year and 1st time here. Got 2 coffees and 2 cake and bit pricey. Coffee was hot but not very tasty and cake was cold and similar! Bit disappointing as the cafe itself looked appealing and the staff were very nice. If visiting the Island again think we will give it a miss. Sorry to be so negative but def need to up your game a bit at the prices you charge.

very disappointed from the moment we walked in. The girl who served us really didn't want to be there. Coffee was pretty poor tea OK. I felt £4 for a tea cake was over priced so didn't have anything. We popped in for a light lunch and ordered the reliable toastie! And my, they were delicious! I think they use a secret ingredient!!! Cafe itself a bit bare, and when we asked for some tap water the glasses were very teeny which is why I knocked off a star. But a great place to grab something if you’re on the island.

Stopped here as it was convenient on our route around town. Serves light bites, ice creams and hot and cold drinks. Seating outside; the table les are massive picnic benches, which are great if you’re in a big group, but if it is just a couple of you then you’re likely to need to share the table.

This cafe is situated between the main car park and the sights on Lindisfarne and it's location is the only reason it is busy. The sandwiches that we had here were passable but the drinks were really ropey and none of the crockery or cutlery looked like you would want to use it. One of us had a latte which was just warm milk, there did not seem to have been any effort to add coffee. The decor is old and tired, the staff look like they hate their jobs and the lighting reminded me of a working mens club. This place could be a gold mine given its location but there is work to be done.

Today we visited holy island it was very wet and very windy but dispite that we enjoyed it. It was very very cold so decided to take our 3 year old in for a warming hot chocolate as you walked up to the counter you were met by 2 very unhappy looking people who looked like they really didn't want to be there. I order a white coffee a hot chocolate and asked if they did a small hot chocolate for children the person behind the counter seemed most put out that I had asked this question she told me no they only do 1 size. I took the drinks back to our table I have to say they were the worst drinks I have ever paid for. The coffee was just basically a brown Grey hot water mix and the hot chocolate was just a brown hot water nether had ant taste. I kinda felt that they really didn't care and maybe they are in the rong trade

The shop inside was good, selling some cute bits.I ordered sandwiches and toasties, the food was average. The toasties was thin white bread, sausages were cheap tasting.. they could do so much more. I ordered “fresh local crab sandwich and chips”.The sandwich was in a plastic container straight from the display counter. If I am paying £4.25 for a sandwich I would expect a little more than two slices of flimsy cheap brown bread (no choice of white or brown). In current climate and location really wouldn’t have thought presenting sandwich in an unnecessary plastic box as I told them I was sitting inside.Chips were American style thin fries if you like that. One of the first places on the way into the town from the car park, it is half cafe and half gift shop and can't seem to make up its mind which it wants to be. The coffee was passable but the food cakes and sanwiches were not presented in a way which would tempt you to buy one. Nearly at our Berwick destination of 180 miles we detoured to Lindisfarne to maximise our visit this afternoon before Hurricane Ali's full force tomorrow. Having safely crossed on the still ebbing tide we quickly descended on the Oasis Café just 300 yards from the main car park. There was ample outdoor seating which was reasonably occupied but maybe another day! We wandered through the bright, well appointed gift shopping entrance area before taking our seats for a lovely cake and steaming coffees. The pleasant/affable staff were quick to serve us and we had time to have a look at the old photographs of local life and other maritime memorabilia which helped us to imagine days gone by on this truly unique historical tidal island. The café has gents/ladies toilets and ample seating/tables with very fair prices for their good variety of small snacks and confectionaries. Another 300 yards takes you to the ancient Priory and thence to the Castle and nearby walled garden - once the old garrison's vegetable plot but redesigned by the famous Gertrude Jekyll. A very good choice for a place to eat.

Its a while since we've been, won't hurry back. Went for breakfast, no egg on menu, no choice of white or brown bap, tea was bag in cup no pot, took so long to arrive our drinks were gone.

Great pub grub that was piping hot, tasty and filling. Chunky chips were yummy. Young girl behind the bar was helpful and friendly. There was a nice atmosphere in the pub.

Lovely place great staff. We had sandwiches but was asked if we would like salad or crisps or coleslaw with them . Everywhere I’ve been to offers you all 3! Especially at £12 per sandwich. Too expensive.
