Popped Into the cafe after attending a political meeting. Great to read the special of a roll of your desired choice of bacon, sausage or scrambled egg, and a massive latte. All for £2.20...a tasty bargain, served by lovely staff.

Situated in bath street just a few minutes walk from sauchihall street, you will find the Oasis cafe hidden away behind the church. There is no big sign saying cafe open or anything noticeable to tell you it's there. Inside it is always busy the cafe provides home cooked traditional foods from soups, sandwiches, jacket potatoes & main meals many of them under £5.00. You can buy tea/coffee and a cake or biscuit for under £3, they provide catering for the main meeting rooms buffets or even main meals in their function rooms. There is artwork on the walls in the Oasis made by amateur artists that they sell on behalf of, works range from oils, water colours, photography to needle work. There are several function rooms for hire and regularly used with events such as art club, various charity's, therapy sessions to indoor bowling. At the Renfield centre they have a shelter for the homeless people for twelve weeks of the year providing a warm, safe and welcoming environment to the homeless over the coldest weeks of the year.

Wandering the streets on a wet Glasgow lunchtime, I came across this place. Great selection of hot and cold food. Free WiFi, friendly staff. A good place to dry out and warm up. Just be aware of the over-65s coach parties if there is a matinee at the Theatre across the road - it gets busy!

Travelling back from Kinning Park with my eldest son, I decided to stop off here for a bite to eat as I needed to pick up a few things anyway. Overall, it was some good scran. Aside from the food, I also thought it was brilliantly priced (Kids eating for just £1), the staff were decent and the cleanliness of the seating area was on point. In comparison to the Morrison’s café in Anniesland, which has plummeted in quality over the last four months, it really was night and day in comparison. I opted for the Sweet Chilli Chicken Panini (lovely) and a Cappuccino (unfortunately the machine only poured 2/3 of a mug). The wee man had Pancakes, Crisps and a Fruit Shoot (unfinished but he seemed happy enough with it). I was impressed with the choice on offer - it certainly exceeded what I’d expect from a Supermarket café. Being a fan of Rangers, I’ll most likely be in the area again very soon and would happily head back to Asda.

I am attending at course at the Clyde College and this wee cafe happens to be nearby - it's very convenient for lunch when I have classes the whole day. I had lunch in a couple of occasions so far, I tried their soup and jacket potato. The prices are affordable, the food is good and the staff are super friendly.

I visited The Lauder in Sauchihsll Street in October 2919 when it reopened after the fire that destroyed the buildings next to it we were served beautifully cooked and very tasty food. I have visited Glasgow twice since then last week ( end of February 20w9) being the most recent and it is now my choice of place to eat. The staff are great easpecially one young lady called Lynn who has been the ultimate in custoner service. Even remembering me from previous visits and ensuring that I get a table and great service. I will be back as not only is the foid well cooked and presebted it is great value for money .
