Stopped here for a bite to eat last week. Had an open sandwich and the soup of the day.

My first visit to this cafe, it always looks busy and so I thought I'd check it out. I ordered sausage bap, smoothie and a single espresso coming to £13.15. The bap was a standard burger bap and the smoothie is pre frozen so not much to write about there. The coffee was really good. It was strange that they would bring the cutlery and napkins after your food arrived, I didn't need cutlery but the table adjacent to me also encountered this who had omelette. Overall its an aesthetically nice venue but missing a few small details that would push this to a higher rating. I know times are tough but a better customer experience would get me wanting to revisit sooner. Great selection. Maybe some better bread options too because the sausages were good. 7/10 would visit again

Went here after reading the rave reviews and was left disappointed. Over priced and meh food. My son asked for poached eggs and got fried eggs. We were charged £2.75 for half an avocado as the black pudding could only be changed for a full English breakfast item. The waiter told me the vegetable lasagne included mixed vegetables. At £14 I asked if that included aubergine, courgette etc. He replied yes. What I got was a half sunken lasagne with no identifiable vegetables. There was a green mush like substance which looked like they had used salad leaves instead of actual vegetables. I spent £40 for our lunch and left feeling over charged and completely disappointed. Was packed at the time with people eating jackets so if you really want to give it a go try that. I won't be going back.

Visited Oakmere Tea Room last week for lunch, great place to eat if you're in the area. Great menu with reasonable prices and a very welcoming environment. Staff are friendly and polite, best place to eat in Potters Bar. Looking forward visiting again in the near future.

Go here for breakfast, a little pricey for what it is and the food is often cooked quiet differently at times

Nice food and clean space however the guy taking our order was literally looking at the next table, wasn’t interested in eye contact and felt he didn’t listen. Order was completely wrong, which I already knew was going to happen as he was not paying any attention to us. Other than that, everything else nice.

Amazing English breakfast, everything was well cooked and crispy hash browns. Also tried the eggy crumpets which were nice.

It's always a pleasure eating here for breakfast or lunch. The staff are friendly, welcoming and the food is fantastic. The atmosphere is lovely, not too noisy and the overall feeling is great. I definitely recommend people to come here for a nice lunch with friends, family, significant others etc.

Great food and service, got the burger and it was excellent. The cappuccino could use a little bit of practice, it was closer to a latte but its not a big deal.

Nice food but extortionate prices I went in with my 2 grandchildren and there mums and small bowl of child's spaghetti 6.50 without a drink 1 sausage 2.20 tiny carton of drink 1.95 and 1.95 for 1 egg. I know prices have gone up but that's just too much very disappointed

Great family brunch in the garden of the restaurant. Waiter was helpful when advising about gluten free options. Great place would highly recommend.

We are always greeted with courtesy and a smile. Nothing is too much trouble. We are usually pushing a wheelchair and the staff always make our way through the Cafe as easy as possible.

Lovely café with delicious food - waiting team are really good with kids too. We went with a 9 year old and a. 3 year old and the waiter took their order patiently and really interacted well. Nothing was too much trouble. Excellent value for money and handy location.

Easy buggy access. Spacious so you don’t feel in the way if you’re with kids. Best coffee I’ve ever tasted it was made by Onur. And the server was Murat and he was so lovely and friendly. The food tasted so nice too. Would definitely recommend and would 100% return.

A proper family run cafe, service is brilliant, the place is always spotless, especially toilets. Nice buzz when ever I pop by,very child friendly high chairs and kids cutlery etc. Food is of a good standard and fresh coffee is great too. The type of place all good high streets need. Their should be 6 stars for this place best breakfast ive had in years all freshly cooked and presented well. The chef deffinetly takes pride in what he cooks and it shows. Best breakfast for miles around its about 35 minute drive from me but its worth it.
