Great time with family celebrating birthdays food great and staff lovely and helpful, we have carvery and I love the chicken tikka curry mmmm

Visited Oaktree farm on the 9th July for a family celebration we arrive at 6pm there was no carvery available which was very disappointing to say the least as that was what most of wanted but the waitress was very apologetic however not wanting to cause a fuse we ordered off the menus I’ve got to say my meal was only mediocre at.best the service was dreadful as all our meals came out a different times therefore some were finished eating before others were even served I asked for a coffee and brandy but there was no coffee machine on and no proper brandy glasses the only saving grace of this restaurant was the actual staff who served us they were lovely and couldn’t do enough for us all in all as a family we had a good time but on a personal level I was very disappointed

Lovely food and friendly staff would definitely recommend. Come here often with friends and family and never been an issue

Regulars for the carvery always enjoy it. Staff always friendly and willing to help. On occasions choices are different and if anybissues the staff are more than happy to help resolve this.

We visited Oak Tree Farm yesterday for breakfast and we were looked after by Gemma. She was very friendly and welcoming and an asset to the business. The food was beautiful and we will definitely return.

We visit this restaurant regularly. Staff are always friendly and so helpful. We feel they are friends. Food is always 5 star quality and value for money. Cleanliness is second to none. Menu is excellent lots to choose from. The carvery is the best in the area. Highly recommend it

Wonderful meal at Oaktree Farm today ,lots of free parking , wheelchair access ,warm and welcoming atmosphere. I had the carvery and it was delicious, choice of 4 meats with an array of veg and gravy ,very well priced,. My friend had the smothered chicken and said it was delicious, all served with a smile by the wonderful Emily who's customer service is second to none . Would recommend.

Visited today with family, staff are so friendly and helpful big shout out to Mel who served me at bar and Ethan who came to check everything was alright with our meals which were delicious. Will definitely be visiting again .

Needed to kill sometime before a meeting and called in at The Oaktree for a snack and cuppa. Food above average, coffee was very good but service by the young lady (Gemma) was superb. Will definitely use again whenever in the SR3 area.

Came here 15 months ago and really enjoyed it, spoiled rotten so came back. They've not lost it! Still a fabulous atmosphere and really friendly, Emily, Brooklyn and all the bar staff were great and made my guests uber comfortable. We will be back......once we've walked off the cheesecake!!!! Lol Thank you guys. See you next year if not before.

I often choose Oak Tree by default for a business meeting (See SunderlandSmile's review for details) as its easy to get to, park at, conveniant & consistantly a comfortable place to be.I do love the Large Buffet Breakfast too if I'm honest, I'm very greedy with my food you see? Gemma is an asset to the venue too. She's friendly & happy to help. Good traits in the hospitality industry.Cheers all x

As a frequent visitor to Oak Tree Farm for breakfast business meeting I feel in a good position to give a well done to them for food, coffee and in particular friendly service. At today’s visit we were looked after by Gemma who represents Oak Tree well with consistently good service with a smile.

Couldn’t fault todays visit, everything was delicious!! Loved the maple syrup roasted carrots and parsnips my favourite 🤩 Special mention to chef Drew, always has a smile on his face and made sure we enjoyed our experience to the max! Thank you

we visited the pub as a large family (12 of us) and was greeted and had excellent service by a very pleasant and well manored young girl Brooke, she helped us be comfortable in where we wanted to be sat and made sure the kitchen knew exactly what we wanted. The service overall was one of the best experiences we’ve had as a family, carvery chef Stu was also an amazing help and made us feel at ease, with the very well cooked veg on the deck and a big smile. I am very pleased with this service! We will be back again

Absolutely brilliant service to them all here, we love coming here and come every week, and a big huge thank you to ANDREW who works behind the carvery, when he sees me he knows to have my gravy jugs ready and a nice big slice of beef mmmmmm, he is an absolute gentleman and great to be served from him, always friendly and welcoming, any work place would be honoured to have Andrew working at their place.Well done to all the other staff aswell.

I usually go to Oak tree Farm Carvery with my sister, brother in law and their family.We have a great time and food is fab. Today we were welcomed in to our booked table as usual by Caroline who is so lovely, pleasant and friendly. She always chaecks if everything is ok.Today the carvery meats was served by Stuart who was also polite, chatty and helpful.It's good to see people who look after the customers and Caroline and Stuart certainly deserve praise. It makes you realise that customer service still exists . Hopefully they are rewarded for their hard work. Another plus is getting the oak barrel of Heineken alcohol free lager in Looking forward to our next visit.

We called in for a few drinks and my daughter played on the outside climbing frame. We had a lovely time and the service was first class, Gemma Campbell who served us was so friendly, polite and helpful. Will be back again soon!!

Visited yesterday, Jack served us our carvery meals prepared by Bobby in the kitchen. We couldn't fault the meal or the service. We often go for carvery meals and the Oak Tree Farm far excels the local Ramside Hall Hotel and also the carvery meal we had today at a garden centre in Stokesley, in both price and quality of food. We will definitely return.

Everytime we go to The Oak Tree Farm we are always greeted by the friendliest of staff. The food is always well cooked and delicious.Stuart the chef goes out of his way to accomodate every palate, he obviously loves his job as he is extremely pleasant. I would have no hesitation in recommending this establishment.

Went to oak tree farm after Borneo Bistro was shut,Great hot, fresh carvery served by Jack who was a great chef who was able to take abit humour from 2 hungry eaters.Great laugh, great food and now a need to pick bairn up from nursery .

The Carvery was so good we went twice this week. The chef Stuart cooked everything to perfection with a great friendly but professional attitude. The staff are lovely snd nothing is too much. We visit here every week as a family of 3. I nearly always order from the menu but husband and teenager always have carvery. Never had a bad meal yet! What makes this place is the staff. They are great! Emily on bar and Caroline on the restaurant floor are exceptional! They are a credit to the restaurant.

Even though it was very busy we spontaneously decided to go for dinner about a ten min wait for a table which is amazing on a Sunday but omg the food wasn't overcooked the vegetables had a crunch to them without being undercooked it was the best carvery I've ever had !!

Nice visit as usual. Dissapointed to note you are charging 1.60 for a fruit shoot whem the rrp is 69p as shown on the bottle. The hospitality sectprnhave had it rough but so have many of your customers. So to exploit in this way is unacceptable. Picture can be uploaded

Well great start, middle and end on this one, staff were very friendly and helpful, the carvery was hot and plentiful, the chefs serving (Jack & Stuart) ensured that there was enough of each item on my plate, meat (Pork) was cooked to perfection and the serving wasnt rationed like some places, will defo be back and hope same staff are on duty.Thanks

Greeted at the door and found a table straight away. Staff were more than helpful. The men on the carvery (jack and stu) were very accommodating and couldn’t do enough for me. Very chatty and definitely put the customers first from what I could see.

We were in on Thursday for the weekly quiz and ordered food. There was a mix up with the order and some things were missing or incorrect.I would just like to say a special mention to Gabs who not only corrected this but was so helpful and apologetic. Called in today for a carvery. Thought it might be self service again, however sadly not. Thankfully we were served at the carvery by Jack who was brilliant. Made sure we had exactly what we wanted on our plates. Chatted to us throughout and his customer service is 10/10. We will definitely be returning.

We came to the oak tree with small children. Staff couldn’t be more helpful. Sophie even replaced the ice cream when one of the children dropped it on the floor.

The carvery is excellent. Good range of food and good quality too. Staff are very nice - great welcome and seated straight away (bookings are 100% necessary, especially on Sundays). The place was full to bursting. Because of the weather, there was nobody seated outside. This lead to enormous queues at the carvery station (30 minutes minimum wait). I have to say that the staff were flat out and very good natured. But it is just too long to wait. Especially when others in the party had not ordered carvery and their order came pretty much immediately.Given that the measures in place meant that the food was served (in normal times the meat is served and the customer picks their own veggie), this slowed the process down. I was there just after the reopening where the carvery was plated up when we were seated (we chose the meat and veg with the server). I think if the restrictions remain as they are, the place may consider doing that again. It has to be quicker - and moreover, it will stop the queues which automatically put customers too close to one another.

Came for a carvery with my girlfriend today and jack provided us with an amazing carvery service. He spoke very clearly and you could tell he was experienced as he had a very friendly and welcoming approach which goes a long way. We will definitely be back for another carvery at oaktree farm, from bobby, Dave? and especially Jack :)

Went as a small group with a baby. Staff were accommodating with providing a high chair straight away. We all ordered the breakfast buffet. Due to COVID we were not able to serve ourselves, but the woman was good in asking how much of each item we wanted and had a very lovely attitude towards her job. The food itself was great and the children’s play area was ideal for the little one!

It wasn’t our first visit today, so we knew the carvery would be good, and it was no trouble to be reseated when I didn’t want to sit next to a high traffic area.Dirty plates were cleared soon after eating which I prefer, then we changed our mind about dessert and went to see the huge cakes on offer, but that’s when our table was allocated to someone else.When asked if we wanted cake to eat in or takeaway I said “better make it takeaway as someone has been given our table”, accepting that my nearly finished drink was no longer mine.Quick as a flash, Ellie stopped serving us and asked what had happened. Visited for a Friday after work dinner date. Despite it being strange visiting an actual place to sit in after the past year or so it felt as clean, safe and normal as ever. Perfect food (I recommend the steak and definitely recommend the cakes!). The staff were also amazing and shout out to an amazing staff member Emily who made the visit that extra bit special as she was there for our ever need, checking that everything was perfect (which it was) and certainly made us feel welcome whilst bringing an amazing vibe to the fab team who served us.

Me and my family used to come all of the time a few years ago before we moved and always loved it. After returning tonight it was so refreshing after a hard week to be greeted by some absolute lovely people. Emily, Kate and Aidan showed extraordinary service and went above and beyond. They showed personal interest and made our night so much fun. Kindness really does make a difference and the whole table enjoyed having a good laugh with them. It may sound cheesy but it was like cracking on with good friends and we all need a good time especially after a horrible year! The food was amazing and the cakes were indescribable. I will definitely be coming back even though the travel is further! It’s worth it! It’s rare to find good service but you 100% will find it here!

Received 2 free carvery due to entering a competition. And as always they were lovely. Food was fresh and hot and there was more than we could eat. Staff as always are friendly. Always a pleasure to make a visit.

Got the chance to relax with family over a lovely carvery, then took our toddler outside with a scoop of icecream. Food was amazing, we all ate loads and enjoyed it. Service was great from Michelle, we needed nothing. Our chef was great, a very happy lad, Stu. It all helped make our day magic! We will definitely be back.

Carvers nice but noticed reduction in amount of meat used to get, service a little slow to non existent, had to attract attention of staff to get chef to come out to get carvery service, staff could see plates were finished with and did not clear walked past several times, never got kids free dessert yet as none of staff acknowledged us when tried to get attention.

Had a lovely meal which was wonderfully served by Aidan. Emily also provided such fantastic service, going above and beyond to give a warm welcome and personalised experience, offering assistance with choosing desserts and drinks. Nothing was too much trouble and we all appreciated that. Would certainly recommend the sticky toffee cheesecake!

I have just had a baby and sat outside due to me breastfeeding. When I got to the que to get my food it was very long and I could not wait in the queue due to the length of time it would of took as I had to be outside near baby to feed her as she was due to wake up, I was very anxious being in the queue away from baby.Emily team leader came out as I was not going to be able to eat and took a list of exactly what I wanted to have from the carvery which made my visit so much easier. As a breast feeding mother I wanted to have a lovely meal in the sun and Emily made that happen for me. Emily was very polite and understood how difficult it was for me to leave baby outside with hubby and try to get food. Emily also understood how I could not use the app on my phone as it would not let me, Emily was smiling and talking to me and made me feel very comfortable. I have a disability and was looked after the way I needed. Emily is an asset to the business. Lovely person. Thank you

18th June 2021 - 6pm Myself and my family visit the oak tree and the lady on the front desk (Emily) was amazing from the start! She was friendly, chatty and helpful right from the moment we arrived. While Emily was speaking to my little boy and making friends he was full of smiles for her it was mentioned that it was his first birthday tomorrow. Emily then came back when our food was served and asked our little boys name as she had got the kitchen staff to do him some cake with his name on and a candle in. She brought this over herself at the end of our visit and sang happy birthday. Oscar loved the chocolate cake even if he did cry a little with the singing haha! Emily is an absolute credit to the oak tree! If only all staff everywhere we’re just like her customer service would always be pleasure to receive Thank you so much Emily we will hopefully see you in the oak tree again soon x
