Food was crap ! Going to eat elsewhere before coming to dudley zoo again. Wasted money for rubbish quality food, SORT THIS OUT !

Had the chicken burger and chips and i cant remember having a worse chicken burger in my life, the bacon was so bulb hardened i think it would have been better used in a bullet proof vest or to repair a ships hull

I wish I looked at the reviews before I ordered here. The staff look miserable, the food is not worth the price whatsoever, and overall it was an unpleasant experience. The young girl at the till looked like she didn’t want to be there. She couldn’t even fake a smile throughout the transaction. Being a negative person does not get you far in any kind of work. Doesn’t hurt to be polite. All in all, I wouldn’t come here again, and I wouldn’t advise anyone to waste their money here. I mean look at this ‘Chicken Caesar’ salad and convince me it’s worth £12.95!

Shockingly expensive and inefficient service- it was like they had never served a customer before- had to go to 3 tills before someone could find their till key card to open their till and take an order for 1 item. so may staff milling around but none of them doing anything ( this was at about 2 pm) My item ordered was a falafel salad which cost £11.95. In the container, it was 60% pilau rice, 2 half cherry tomatoes , 4 lettuce tiny bits/ chunks of lettuce leaves (which were not even separated and had brown edges) , and 4 falafel balls. Certainly not a salad in my books. I wouldn't normally review, but I went up to a senior member of staff at the end with my uneaten half bowl of rice to ask if this was correct- to have so much rice in my bowl and have received literally no vegetables and give feedback and was told that 'it is normal, that is how the dish is normally plated up!' No apology, no offer to refund, make me happy etc. So this is my feedback- they have got people as a captive audience and they can get away with substandard food at extortionate prices.

Helpful staff, tasty and hot food, very fast service. What more can you ask for!

I recently embarked on a culinary adventure at The Oak Kitchen, hoping for a taste sensation that would make my taste buds do the cha-cha. However, the burger I encountered seemed to have attended a party I wasn't invited to—gold bland and with a processed personality that left me questioning its life choices. In a twist of events, the toppings and sauce decided to take a vacation, leaving my burger as bare as a desert. I felt like I was in a burger-based survival show, trying to find the oasis of flavor in a barren patty landscape. Thirsty from the flavor drought, I dared to request a drink—four different times. The staff must have mistaken my request for a complex algebra problem because, after 10 minutes of anticipation, they paraded out with four waters, one after the other, like synchronized swimmers in a comedy routine. Alas, the grand finale was a burger that played hard to get and a bill that played hardball, demanding £13 for the privilege. If blandness were an Olympic sport, this burger would be a gold medalist. As for me, I'll be seeking flavor adventures elsewhere, preferably with burgers that know how to party on my palate without leaving me financially hangry.

Literally the worst cold burger I’ve ever had!!

My friend and I went to a show in Hall 3. For an extra shot of espresso coffee was £2.15 total bill for black coffee, vanilla latte and two cake slices was £15.75

Stopped in for some liquid refreshments service good atmosphere excellent, staff friendly.

The place is clean, staffed like a fast food place. Food is poor and stupidity over priced. The chips weren’t even made on-site, normal frozen oven chips apart from the one on the enamel bowl!

Waited 20 minutes for two teas and two hot chocolates. There was no queue so have no idea what the six people in the kitchen were up to in this time. I can only say don't use the QR code as they seem to ignore it? Got bad attitude from two employees when enquiring about our drinks. When the tea finally arrived we still had to sort it all outselves with milk.

So last year they gave me food that had cream hidden inside with no warning in the cake description making me ill. And this year one member of staff says they are doing basic food sandwiches and sausage rolls. Then at the till they have nothing but cupcakes which isn't food.

I’m not to sure what ppl expect This resultant IS going to be very expensive. I paid £13 odd for one fish and chips But your eating inside the NEC. If You don’t like the prices go eat at subway for example which is 1 min away and much better value for money. Hence the que there was 100+ The food was delivered rapid. Honestly faster than a McDonalds … I was actually shocked at I came here at lunch time was it was busy The staff were friendly. Now the food that was really nice. Warm and tasty !! Can’t fault the food. Reason for not getting the extra two stars The table was abit dirty also the portion size was just a bit smaller than expected

Had a cracking bacon and egg sandwich here, the egg was runny, the / rashers of bacon were cooked just right on a fresh bun. Ok, we appreciate pay more as eating in here, but to be honest this was far better than expected with friendly helpful staff. Thanks

Visited for the classic car show, served by maxine , the most rude experience ive recieved when ordering food… asked maxine if they accept the blue light card and she just pointed to the card machine saying pay here, asked again and just got the same response saying pay here, her attitude is disgusting, she has no skills serving customers, wont be eating here again even as a regular visitor to the nec, go to subway or wetherspoons instead

Asked for a plain veggie burger due to having a milk allergy, given a halloumi burger instead. Ate the chips and onion rings and that was that. Scary how bad that could have been.

The food was atrocious. I ordered a vegetarian burger, the waiter tried several times to give me a chicken burger insisting it was veggie. Hilarious! As it was at the Allergy and Vegan show. The bread must have 50% sugar in it, obviously as a preservative, it must of had a 5 year shelf life. £24 for two inedible burgers, a bottle of water and a coffee. Next time I will take a packed lunch or starve. As we left the table a young lady came over to clear it, I asked her to feed back how bad it was, she broke out in laughter, nodding in agreeance.

Food expensive. Not good but not awful. Table was filthy. Girl on the till was the most miserable creature. I have done some rotten jobs without becoming a rude snappy bat. No excuse for nastiness. The waiter was lovely.

Food is absolute rubbish! Very much overpriced. Go to subway instead.

Absolutely ridiculous prices !!! Bought a burger for my grandson Liam I ordered just a plain burger, when it came it had chips and onion rings also coleslaw which he didn't want,we were just served it and cost me £11-50 !!!! My advice take your own food and drinks there is seating for people who want to eat there own food.

Disgusting service !!!! Only rated 1 to be able to write a review. It should be a minus 25 Absolutely terrible. After saying "excuse me" to the waiter and him rolling his eyes saying "what" I am surpised this place is still doing business. Terrible service.....will eat anywhere but there again !!!!!!

Had terrible service wrong food staff giving my children dirty looks and hair in food wont be returning sorry
