A very good restaurant Good seasoning, good taste. I had lunch as if I were at home, because I simply say, Portuguese restaurant, that's enough 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Large portion and very good, I recommend it 100%

I visited the restaurant for my birthday, the Chef surprised me and my friend with some dishes off the menu, needless to say they were outstanding! Great quality and beautiful presentation. The staff is very friendly and they make you feel welcome as soon as you step in. I definitely recommend it and I will go back!

You'll find lots of good Portuguese restaurants in London's "little Portugal" on the South Lambeth Road, but although this one is off the beaten track and not easy to find by car, it's well worth a visit as the food is superb. You're best to take the tube or train to Vauxhall and walk or get the No. 2 or 88 bus, then walk a short distance through the estate from the South Lambeth Road to this great little place. Authentic Portugal in this bi-functional shop and restaurant. I had Caldo Verde (soup), followed by Dourada (golden sea bream) with boiled potatoes and vegetables and a baba de camelo to finish. I also had a very swillable half-litre jar of the house white with two expressos and two shots of bagaso to finish, all for £35. Not only was the price appealing, the fish was prepared with just the right amount of garlic and herbs. It was good that I arrived early on a Saturday evening as the place was soon full, mainly of Portuguese people, thus attesting to the authenticity of the food. At no time did I feel hurried, so I guess this is as about as Portuguese as you can get! Love it! I'll be back.

Went to O Fumeiro for the first time. Lately to every restaurant I go, is always some regret. Or the food is not good enough, or too little on the plate, or not value for money... not at O Fumeiro. The food was great taste. We couldn’t finish to the point we ate our doggie bag for the next three days, and it was good value for money. I didn’t cry when the bill came up. Props to the cook and to the cafe. A small space, not quite a restaurant feeling, but very good food. We had the arroz de marisco. Which by the way is my lunch today. Still...my doggie bag.

Nice breakfast of ham omelette & chips in this small Portugese cafe. The grilled chicken toastie was a good size and the service was good too. Good value for money also. Nice place to come for a lovely breakfast, however no menus just on the wall.

Sticking to my policy of only reviewing places that are either really good or shockingly bad, I had to write a positive review of this place. If you live in Vauxhall then you absolutely must come here and if you don't then it is worth the effort. This Portuguese restaurant/cafe is proof that great service doesn't have to be expensive. I come regularly to get scrambled eggs, beans and chips and coffee for under £5. And the coffee alone is worth that amount as it is very high quality. As I mentioned before the service is brilliant and the staff treat their regulars so so well. There is also a brilliant delicatessen attached with great produce at great value for money. I'm happy to be the first to review O Fumeiro and give it 2 thumbs up!

We recently popped into Monkey Leaf for brunch, having been able to book a table last minute. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great and in spite of the restaurant being busy we didn't wait

Wir hben dort mehrfach gutes und günstiges Essen geholt. Um die 5 Euro kann man dort gut und günstig essen. Scheinbar kommt das Lokal auch bei den Londonern gut an. Auch kommen jeden Abend Polizisten
