Me encantan las tartas sabrosas y por supuesto el morado es mi color favorito. Yo diría que es un buen lugar para venir a comprar pasteles y café. Yo diría que es un poco caro.

Nice place .. the waitresses were so polite and almost shy...! The service was perfect and the place so clean. The choices were relatively limited but the cakes full of mousse were tasty and the coffee too. The place is small but well located. We paid around 23 eur per person . To try

Delicious dessert, we had the pistachio canapés and the raspberry tart. We recommend them. Great coffee too!

We discovered this lovely quaint cafe before going to see frozen with our 11 year old girls. The staff are lovely and the cakes and cookies are to die for , do you eat them or take them home to put in a frame … and the lavender latte - heaven …. Please stop by and try this amazing place … you won’t be disappointed

I have visitied this place several times, first in September 2022 and now in February 2023, hen they widened their offe. This is the place where you will find the moat balanced sweets, from the devilishly tart yuzu cheesecake to the most delicious paris-breast insipired craquelin. Honestly, this is the place to visit when in Covent Garden.

Such visually aesthetic cakes and pastries (5 stars there), but taste-wise I would give it 3-4 stars. It was nothing bad, just not that special. The staff were extra nice.

It was not bad, but way overpriced. We left almost £500 per person there, but the food was not nearly as good as at other three-star restaurants we’ve been to (e.g. the nearby Sketch is half the price, but much more inventive and thoughtful with their cooking. The food was prepared perfectly, of course. And the staff were extremely professional. I can’t fault their technical execution. The food, however, felt like it was designed to appeal to one’s sense of self-importance, rather than one’s tastebuds. As an example, they offered a caviar dish, where all of the flavour was really coming from a much stronger oyster sauce in it. What’s the purpose of putting expensive caviar on it if it’s not going to be tasted behind the oyster? It’s just there so you could tell yourself “I’m successful and important, I eat caviar”. £85 down the drain. Again, most of the dishes were tasty, just not worth the money they’re asking. The only real fail was the rhubarb: they served very cold sorbet hidden beneath warmer ingredients, which gave me a brain freeze and made my teeth ache. I would expect a three-starred chef to have thought of this possibility, but they didn’t. Was it some intern who made that dish? We’ll never know.

After two visits at this establishment, I can safely regard it as having the best duck in London. Unfortunately it’s no longer on the menu, but if it ever returns, I’ll be back faster than my ability to say the restaurant’s name. The sauce was ethereally delicious to the point I needed 2 rounds of fresh sourdough to soak up every drop.
