Not soundproof, false fire alarm at 5in the morning, dirty hallways, you hear the tube running throug the room.

Great location ! We had a great great expérience on room 408! Lovely décor, super bedding! Personnel super pro and really Nice made my companions birthday trip à very spécial one! Breakfast was also very good but the restaurant was a Little noisy, silverware and dishes falling or clanking since very heavy. That’s the only improvement I would recommend otherwise would totally come back !

We stayed at this hotel from March 23rd to 24th. Overall, it was a pleasant experience—the atmosphere was inviting, the spa area was enjoyable, and most of the staff were friendly and accommodating. However, we faced an issue during the night. Around 3 a.m., we were woken by noise from outside and from the neighbouring room, which we understand can happen in a busy hotel. What was more concerning, was the pungent marijuana odour in the room, coming from our bathroom area and the wall adjoining the noisy neighbours room. The smell was so intense that we felt compelled to report it for our own comfort and for the safety of others. My partner decided to inform the staff at reception, but unfortunately, his concerns were dismissed. They suggested the smell was "probably" coming from outside, but we were on floor 3 and there were no windows open. After some back-and-forth discussion, they offered to move us to another room, but due to the time and the inconvenience of packing everything up at 3 a.m., we chose to remain in our room. Our biggest concern was the potential safety risk if the smell triggered the fire alarm, resulting in an evacuation, yet this possibility seemed to be downplayed by the staff. While the hotel has positive aspects and many friendly staff, we feel that the handling of this situation could have been much better and demonstrated greater consideration for guest safety and comfort.

Just awesome. We’ve stayed in a few big name hotels over the past couple of years for city breaks and this place has outshone them all by far. Staff were welcoming, professional and courteous. Room was spacious, clean and quiet. Did not hear a peep considering we stayed over a weekend. Curtains were actually blackout, breakfast was excellent. SMEG fridges and teapigs teas. Beds are huge and bouncy. 100% staying again.

Lovely hotel, very clean and vibrant colours. Room was spacious and comfortable, funky design. Bathroom was a standard size but clean and comfortable for showers and getting ready. Area is around lots of available shops and good places to eat. Not far from madame tussauds and camden market which is a must. Great bars and overall great location

Firstly after reading negative reviews AFTER booking we were very concerned about the service we would be receiving! We are happy we kept our booking, upon our arrival we were greeted nicely by staff. A young gentleman offered to kindly help with our bags and also brought over free Prosecco whilst we checked in. The room was spacious, bed was super comfortable, we had a chair and also dressing table and coffee machine in our room. Bathroom was small but had everything you need. Hardly any wardrobe space but we was not bothered, had we be staying their longer it may of been difficult. Our only two negatives would be the following: As it was Valentine’s Day my boyfriend tried to book the room to be decorated as advertise on their social media. Unfortunately when he called to book the staff member who answered the phone was rather short whilst explaining this was no longer an option due to the decorating person no longer being available. We understand that this may of been the case but we were made to feel like it was a huge bother, even though these services were clearly advertised. Secondly we ordered room service from their ‘24hr pizza’ selection this was around 9:30pm pizza and fries arrived cold. We called room service and they kindly refunded 50% back on our meal. Aside from the above, we had a great time and would highly recommend staying at this hotel! We didn’t spend much time at the spa but it had everything you need!

Where do I start… Location is good. Bathrooms small. The spa area around pool stunk of cheesy feet- awful stench. Sauna and steam room small as well. My room has issues with the heating. It’s was freezing cold. Reported twice fixed worked for 30-45 mins then stopped again. I was so cold I didn’t sleep well. Checked out early to go home and sleep. Will not be returning her.

Don’t no where to start this hotel was meant to be quality as we spent over £590 for 2 nights But on arrival are to was not working are drinks mini fridge was all open and half empty Then we decided to go spa the bath robe was washed out and like kid sizes the spa was the worst the pool is like paddling pool then we asked for champagne glass and was told we have to buy a drink from them for them to bring it please people don’t throw your money away

Very far from the standards of a 5 star. Even though we were in the standard luxury room, tiny bathroom, 10 minutes to get hot water, also tiny room, cleaning that starts in the corridors at 7:30 a.m. with a lot of noise, not the kind of attention expected in this type of establishment! Overall very disappointed

Really cool hotel, decor and atmosphere really nice! The room was very nicely designed and interesting - loved the decor. However frustratingly the lighting is a bit bizarre, just not bright enough when you need it such as getting ready, only mood lighting. We had to use our phone torches when getting stuff out of our bags. Nice big mirror by the door but no light at all above it so it was tricky getting ready for our night out. Occasional noise from other rooms can be heard so probably not ideal if you’re a light sleeper. Bed was comfy and otherwise a quiet room. The breakfast was very nice and lots of choice, particularly the omelettes! Location very handy, central London and a very short walk for the tube. Also very close to the cabaret club which is what we came to London for.

The hotel is OK. The room was clean, but the shower pressure was bad and the temperature was tepid. The location is good and close to a decent station, but the staff were a bit miserable. For the price, there are way better hotels to stay in

Overall this is quite a good hotel - it is well situated for the main attractions and shops in London, and the Tube is nearby if you need to travel further. The swimming pool and sauna were very quiet when we went in and it is reasonably well maintained - although I assume the moveable pool floor was broken, as it was quite shallow. The rooms were of a good size and had all the usual amenities. The bathroom was a little small, but very well laid out. The bed was large and comfortable, with good quality bedding. However the biggest issue was the noise - doors being closed in nearby rooms were very annoying, and even normal volume conversations from adjoining rooms could easily be heard, together with external noises. These woke me several times during our stay. We didn’t use it - but had a quick look and there is also an enclosed bar on the top floor, which looked nice. Purely due to the noise I’m not sure if we would return.

We had a lovely weekend stay. And the Breakfast is very good with lots of options.

Loved our stay. This place has a unique decor and has a retro feel that I loved. I loved the space invaders arcade in the bar and the room was comfortable and perfect. The team were extremely welcoming and I loved the bag of sweets given at check-in 😋 The room service was quick and the food was fresh and tasty. Thanks for a great visit

I purchased a wowcher gift for my partner just before Christmas. I paid extra to upgrade the room, B&B and for flexibility of dates. I wanted us to have something to look forward to as he lost his dad just before christmas and I lost my Grandad. We knew we had 2 funerals to attend in January so that is why we chose flexible dates. The voucher is valid for a year so to only offer 3 dates out of 365 days is shocking and clearly a massive scam. The hotel even confirmed they have many dates available. When I went on to redeem the voucher it was only offering 2 dates in January we obviously couldn't attend and one at the start of February, this would not be enough time to book off work. Every other date for the year was between £100-£300 extra. (More than the room is even worth) i had already paid over £200. I contacted Wowcher who refused to help and explained we had to speak to the hotel. For a week now I have been emailing and calling the hotel and was promised a call back from the duty manager that did not happen. The lack in empathy was disgusting and again I was promised another call back... instead I got 1 email saying they would not help and sorry this wasn't the response I wanted. If I wanted to stay there I would have to pay the prices shown. I have since emailed back explaining this is a massive scam and if they are unwilling to help or even call me then I will have to take this further. They are allowing wowcher to promote deals and scam customers and not bothered in the slightest. I am shocked out the lack of professionalism and complete disregard for the stress this has caused. Upon investigating this further I can see last year Wowcher was again investigated and made to pay out millions to customers for this exact reason which I have explained to the hotel but they really didn't care at all. I am now going to have to take this further to their regulating bodies. Please be careful everyone

Absolutely great hotel. Good location, knowledgeable staff and good facilities. The pool and sauna was a very relaxing start to the day. Also great cocktails!

The room was small dark and the air vent in the bathroom was broken and there was not even a small window in the bathroom for the air to come out. But on the other hand there was free popcorn in the lobby there werealso free coockies, tee and coffee in the room and the water in the bathroom were hot and nice.

Very nice hotel amazing decor. Only complaint took me 3 attempts to get a remote in my room for the tv. Also breakfast veggie sausages took 10 mins, I had by then already finished eating.

You have the kindest, most accommodating staff, we loved the small touches like festive sweets, a complimentary glass of bubbly on arrival, the room was spotless & it was so lovely to be able to open the window in the room too. We loved the funky decor throughout the hotel & the pool / spa was nice to pop down to. Breakfast was great - they had a good selection and accommodated for plant based. We enjoyed a few cocktails in the bar on the ground floor which were lovely, sadly the roof bar was closed at the time. Thank you, we would definitely visit and stay again.

At best a 3 star hotel, wrong room provided although they tried to make out we were getting an upgrade. The air conditioning was that loud we had to turn it off, the bathroom extract fan didn’t work and that was in both bathrooms as they moved us after the first night. The receptionist was rude on checkout,, very disappointed.

Great holidays at Nyx Hotel 👌🏼 I stayed there for a week in an executive king room with two king beds. Pros: Excellent location Fast check-in/out process (Very fast and smooth) Spacious room Excellent bed size (Two beds king size) Very comfortable bed Great services Good breakfast Cons: The bathrobes were a bit old and teared. Found a stain on the pillow case. Overall I recommend the stay at Nyx Hotel and I will return to it.

I stay here quite a lot for work. It is a nice clean hotel, with decent size bedrooms and comfy beds, and great buffet breakfast. But beware the bathrooms are miniature! I'm not a big person and yet can barely squeeze around the bathroom doors. Also beware of road noise if you're on a lower floor. Good location if you want to be near (but not in) covent garden.

The cutest spunky theme hotel ever ! Great and friendly staffing with the cutest aesthetics and decor ! The restaurant lobby / restaurant and bar had the best food options on their menu! Will definitely stay again ! Also be sure to include the breakfast option as it is the best buffet breakfast I’ve ever week at any hotel !

To be honest didn’t expect great things But wow immediately had awesome help and lovely greeting at front desk by Sara she went out of her way to accommodate our family after our 8 hrs travel Then breakfast was really tasty and generous Room and shower was good quality High power nice and warm What you see is attention to detail and the quality and professional service and condition rooms for us exceeded expectations Also just 15 mins walk from Euston and we are close most attractions

I relally like this hotel the art is awesome and different. There are complimentary drinks and chocolate in the fridges. I love all of the lighting in the room as you can set the mood for anything you need. Lovely shower. Plenty coffee choice. But I was annoyed that I had one tea and all the rest were herbal. My partner had about 9 coffees and I could only have one tea, not many tea drinkers actually enjoy herbal. The bedding is far too hot for summer so you end up without it on the bedding needs to be changed according to the seasons. Also the pillows are the most uncomfy pillows for a fancy hotel that I've slept on. They are like rock. Every pillow was. Also what is wrong with the people staying it was from about midnight to gone 7am everyone slamming the doors. They're fire doors so slam every time they're shut unless you slowly shut them, so my sleep was disturbed. Apart from that mostly cannot hear people. There is a nice roof top bar cocktails are about £14. Was bizarre when my partner asked for the drinks menu and the person looked at me and handed me them although my partners hand was out to take them. The breakfast is extortionate at £23 a breakfast as we stayed here three days I would have expected a deal. Instead we went on the too good to go food app and got one down the road for £5. I can see someone posted the breakfast was £20 last week so not sure if they have gone up? The pool area is nice didn't expect the pool to be so cold. Very nice gym all updated equipment. The lockers are not the best and three of us couldn't work them and I kept doing it in front of the lady but she kept looking away so presumed I wasn't pressing the lock when I was and tbh i found her rude, but if they're working fine, how would so many people struggle...is a lovely hotel would recommend but unless they changed the bedding and pillows I personally would not come back. Lovely staff in the hotel.

We stayed here as a couple for 4 days (3 nights). Friendly staff, clean and tidy hotel. Free popcorn machine in reception at certain times and also a free camera that takes photos of you and prints them out. Bar in reception is lovely and also has a DJ in the evening. The roof top bar is also lovely and the vibe / style around the hotel is really quirky! The pool is clean and tidy, as well as the gym. Breakfast was really nice with a huge variety to pick from. Room was lovely, only 1 thing I would pick at is the bathroom we had was quite small for a superior king room and hard to walk around the door, as it was so close to the toilet / shower when opening / closing. Location is great, close to plenty of underground stations and also right by Oxford Circus for shopping. Overall excellent hotel and would highly recommend!

This was a great choice of hotel for us, the location within London was great with access to the nearby tube station. The rooms were clean and well presented and also very quiet despite being in central London we were impressed, the buffet offered all of not more than expected. I would definitely stay here again. The staff were also helpful and friendly which was great to see in such a large hotel

Visited this hotel with some colleagues who were staying here. The service was atrocious, waiter forgot items each time we ordered then assumed we didn't order them when we raised the issue. Despite spending over £300 in our bill, the general vibe from the staff was awful. Not the best of first impressions of the hotel, would put me off staying here in future.

Beautiful hotel in a nice quiet little corner of Horborn with great access to some good bars amd restaurants. Shania took care of us with a lovely bottle of bubbly, sweet birthday message and lush cupcakes in the room! So thank you for the extra effort you went to.. very sexy artwork and the spa was super quiet, perfect for a little weekend getaway!

This hotel is absolutely gorgeous, the location is fine, and the vibe is super cool- but do not order food from them, especially if you’re hungry. I have never waited longer for food anywhere in London the several times I’ve been here! We’re all jet lagged and starving and I had to walk to the bar to have them check to see if they even remembered to make our order- Then- AFTER I asked the bartender to check, they brought out our food and I don’t even trust that it hasn’t been sitting there under the heater now. For a hotel of this caliber, I would have expected better.

Nice hotel, but for the price I expected a little more. Even if the flaws were only minor. Probably the most unpleasant thing was the non-functioning fan in the bathroom. The hotel is also on a very busy street and you can hear cars, ambulances, sometimes loud music all night long. Despite all the noise, we slept unexpectedly well. What is it? Hard to say. The staff ignored us most of the time, and if the check-in and check-out functioned correctly, the guest would not even come into contact with him. Which is definitely a shame, because when a guest approached them with a problem, they were attentive and tried to help. What I didn't quite understand was the room allocation. We had a reservation about half a year in advance, yet our two rooms were separated by 7 floors. Fortunately, our children are now adults, so they rather appreciated that they were not under supervision. I appreciate the location, which is very close to many historical and touristic places, as well as well-known musical scenes. You can easily plan interesting all-day walks in London, as well as "jump" to one of the world-famous musicals. Excellent accessibility from the airport, direct metro line to Holbon station.

Absolutely terrible. Booked a bottomless brunch and had 4 drinks in two hours. Staff are rude and no personality whatsoever. You get the feeling that they don’t want you there, constantly taking out their phones reminding you of the time and everything seemed to be an issue. Mat especially, he needs to work on his customer service and people skills. Never again! Definitely not worth £50. Food was the only nice bit.

Good location near Covent Garden, Lincolns Inn Fields, and Chancery Lane. Decent gym and very nice indoor pool. Terrible service. Laundry not delivered to your room, and you are not even notified when it has been returned to reception. I needed an upgrade (which I was happy to pay for) to a room with a small desk (first room had nothing). Initially told no availability. I checked online and found rooms - had to virtually beg them to recheck and was eventually able to get what I needed. Shame because other aspects pretty satisfactory.

Last September i stayed in the NYX for one night with a spa access and spa treatments for my boyfriends birthday. We were well looked after by Elisabete (sorry it is late) I was so impressed from the first time i emailed with my birthday and room decoration requests. The room was decorated so beautifully and had special touches for his birthday. Elisabete made it extfa special and went went the extra mile with everything. He really enjoyed everything from start to finish and so did i. Thank you so much to you and your team.

A great location, have driven past and scrolled past many times and finally decided to stay here, no regrets. Very modern, very clean and kept to a high standard. We also used the spa, which again was kept very clean. There are not extensive amenities; no jacuzzi, for example, but it's good for a few hours and has an adequate treatment menu.

Nice hotel within walking distance of all sights. We were able to check in immediately on the first day even though we arrived early in the morning.

Absolutely loved this hotel and the staff was amazing. Destiny at the front desk was able to check us in early so we could get rest before a big event. The location in SoHo is accessible to nearly everything. You can walk almost anywhere and it’s close to the tube. Close to very cute restaurants like The Black Penny which is wonderful for brunch and near Covent Garden. The room was great, nice bed and shower and very lovely tea and coffee setup. The spa in the basement is absolutely amazing. The lobby and restaurant are very nice as well as the rooftop bar area. We will definitely be interested in staying here again.

The hotel has a really good location and the style is great, unfortunately it is run down. I can't give the hotel one star for the service. Cleaning doesn't really clean. Room is dusty, dirty showers, dirty curtains. Used dishes were not replaced but were just kept under water and put back (they were still dirty) The staff wanted to charge us for breakfast, which we didn't have. The staff became rude to us after we politely told them several times that we hadn't had breakfast there. Among other things, my husband had asked the hotel to organize something special because it was my birthday on the day of arrival and it was our honeymoon... What was promised to him was not done. You can sit well in the bar but the staff ignores you. We sat there for over an hour and were ignored. I've never had such a bad experience with service... we usually like to give tips and are very generous, but in the hotel the service staff was an absolute disaster...

Pleasantly surprised. Funky, fun and some good amenities; rooftop bar, decenly sized pool and spa. The rooms were big from what we've experienced in Central London and the beds were comfy. Tea and coffee in the room daily as well as the ability to cast your streaming services onto the Samsung TV. We booked 2pm late checkout for £40 which was well worth the money. Holborn tube is 3min walk, covent garden 15min walk, Oxford Street 10min walk. There's a small sainsburys across the road for snacks and forgotten toiletries. For breakfast I'd reccomend reserving a table at Victoria House Coffee & Food 4min walk away. Great vibes and lovely food.

The location was excellent, near all amenities. The artistic decor, adorned with intriguing artwork throughout, might appeal to some but wasn't personally my style. The bathroom, though almost too small, was clean, and the shower's platform design wasn't my preference for a hotel.

We were attending the National Coaching Awards and wanted a hotel that gave us a little more sense of occasion! NYX Holborn was superb place to stay! Room was 804 city view from window. Large comfy bed, with a decent shower (no bath) Coffee machine and pods super addition to a well stocked mini bar. Will visit again!

Hôtel très bien situé on peut faire énormément de quartiers à pied,en revanche le personnel n est pas très accueillant, avait l air excédé que l on n arrive pas trop à comprendre leur anglais car ils parlaient super vite ne s adaptaient pas ,bar sympa mais basique aucune ambiance, spa très sympa,chambre supérieure assez petite et salle de douche minuscule je pense même que certaines personnes un peu fortes ne pourraient pas y penetrer,petit déjeuner vraiment super même si dans le pays des buveurs de thé et dans cet hôtel 4 étoiles ils n y a pas de théière àdisposition,bref avis partagé je pourrais y revenir uniquement pour sa situation 😏

Tout était parfait. Chambre prête avant l'heure du check-in. Le lit king-size était très spacieux et très confortable. La chambre (Super King Size Supérieur) n'est pas très grande mais cela ne pose pas vraiment de problème. La salle de bain est très petite, mais assez bien agencée (pour notre chambre). L'hôtel est parfaitement situé dans Londres, dans un quartier animé mais assez calme la nuit. Le métro est à 200m et il y a plusieurs arrêts de bus à moins de 100m de l'hôtel. Beaucoup de quartiers touristiques sont à moins de 15 min à pied ce qui est un gros plus. La piscine, le sauna et le hammam sont un vrai plus en plein centre de Londres. Je ne peux que recommander cet hôtel et c'est avec grand plaisir que j'y séjournerai de nouveau.
