NY Place in Scarborough

Used to go here quite often but don't anymore over last years it's gone down hill compared to others in Filey. Food is overpriced and poor portion sizes too. boards on the wall show most food with all blacked out prices which I find dodgey as then any price can be made up. There were a few times before where I've added up the cost of things that are priced on the wall but end up being charged 50p to £1 more so I've just stopped going there altogether. None of the pizzas are freshly made either everything bought frozen out of a box unlike others in Filey who make their pizzas from scratch.

Bruv, we got two boxes of cheesy chips. They were in these tiny boxes, like the ones you get a single burger in. The chips were just cheap, frozen fries, and the cheese on top was tasteless and not even melted. For 3.50 a portion, we were expecting something a bit more.

Lovely man. Very helpful. Will go out of his way to deliver food. Fast service and great food. Definitely recommend

Chips were nice but the pizza wasn't. It wasn't piping hot even though I received it straight from the oven. Don't think it was cooked for long enough. It had a strange smell and taste to it. I'm thinking it was some sort of herb that was put on it but whatever it was, I didn't really like it. It was too over powering and spoilt it for me.

Two chicken and Donner £20 very expensive, small portion on pitta not nan..... Premises didn't look very clean

Went here about 18 months ago spend over £40 stuff missing from order portions where shocking for the price went back to shop got told there was more than enough for what we paid laughable to be honest customer service was shocking a man in total denial about his food and service would avoid like the plague

Kebab straight from the fridge not heated up enough I enjoyed This Kebab again at1am🤢 Asked if I wanted fresh tomatoe it was the only fresh bit! Galic Mayo was minty. Save your money and don’t give it to Borat!!!

Food was terrible. Ordered a pizza it was like it was out the freezer from heron. Kebab was tiny and never got any sauce with it

Ordered a burger and not the best food for the price. Food felt really dry and processed. Not going again

called them in asking about a delivery my friend said something made me giggle and the man on the phone started shouting at me saying “now your laughing no delivery for you” and need the call on me sounded really angry don’t recommended probabaly spot in ur food tbh

Avoid, went in at the end of the evening out, ordered 2 Kebabs charged us more than what was advertised. Said things had gone up and did offer money back, i just felt he tried it on. We did have the Kebabs and they were poor quality, i wouldn't return.

Been coming to this takeaway for well over 5 years when we stay at the caravan, and it always is amazing! The guy who runs it deserves a medal, the food is so tasty and so good for the price! Here’s to many more years of coming!

The fist and last time I go there. £7 for a chicken kebab that came in an already broken up pitta bread which you can get 6 for £1. Along with soggy salad and cold chips.

Never Again! I live local and have used this place many times in the past, but, this was my last. It has gone down hill, with very bad service and food. I ordered 1 large and 1 medium Donor Kebabs. Both were the same size with the sauces mixed up with the wrong ones. So glad Spinners of Hunmanby will be reopening this week.

From start to finish was not a pleasant experience, first off clearly advertising as a 5 star food hygiene rating but reality is it's only got 2 stars on government website. 2nd thing I get kids meals should be smaller but half a little burger and a few chips pitifull. The chicken nuggets were all different colours Shape and sizes over cooked. The only good thing was there was plenty of salt available put down the chips with. All in all not good. But you live and learn would have complained direct but had to catch the train home and had to eat out food at the station.

Fabulous pizza very friendly gentleman who served me, even gave my little boy free chips, what a lovely pizza shop.

Was in Filey a couple of weeks ago, ordered 2 chicken Wraps, 1 portion of chips & 1 can of coke. The prices had black tape over them, £18.90 was the total. The portion of chips was a handful of French fries with absolutely no exaggeration, they came in a tiny square box. The chicken Wraps had about 3 bits of chicken in each and were packed with salad which wasn't very fresh either. Absolute rip off. My fiancé's nan lives in Filey and when we went home and told her the prices etc she couldn't believe we had been ripped off with tourist prices from this place. Stay away, I wouldn't mind as much if the food was lovely but it was below average.

Was in Filey visiting our grandmother and called in and bought 2 chicken wraps and 1 portion of chips. The prices had black tape over them so we couldn’t see the prices and it cost us over 18.00 After viewing the menu online we can see it should have cost us £11.70! Are we getting charged tourist prices because the summer is here so they’re hiding the prices??! Disgusting hiding the real prices , such a con! And the food itself was disappointing to say the least!!! The wraps had 3 small pieces of chicken in and the chips came in a child size box and wasn’t even full! Trust me! The worse fast food place ever!

Really, REALLY disappointed! Ordered to collect, asked why it was £15 for one cheeseburger and one kebab and chips, the owner was unable to explain why the price was so high. Prices on menu out front and in store had black tape over them. Fine...we had high expectations. Got home, the burger was clearly a frozen cheapy (thinner than a McDonald's!) bread bun burnt and chips in both meals were clearly scragg ends and had been fried more than twice. Will NOT be getting from here again..

We stopped here for a bite to eat after a walk on the beach, and the food was absolutely incredible. The chicken breast kebab was restaurant quality flavour and cooked to perfection (seriously not kidding!) and the pizza was perfect too.

Opened the shop back up just to serve us pizza, locals only thin base which went down a treat, also sneaky hieny which washed the pizza down great 👍🏻

Stay away!!!! Random prices not to the board and over charged. The pizza was the worse pizza I've ever had from a takeaway. Mega bland. My friends and I was disappointed.

Must be a lot of people who have no taste buds in Filey. Ordered a meat feast with kebab meat on top. Pizza wasn't cooked the kebab looked like the scabby bits left over from hours ago asked for garlic mayo and got mint yogurt. Fries were spot on but £15wow ill never eat there again 3/10

Ordered two pizzas, one mixed kebab, one cheese burger and three chips. Picked up and got home to find no cheese burger, went back and door locked (it was only 21:30). Pizza bases were not fresh and assume pre-made bought in and the pizzas were probably the worst I have ever had. Will not be going back.

I visited this establishment at 9pm on 11/07. Ordered a family chicken meal, worst food i have ever had in 54 years. We like a Chicken and chip supper, this was burnt - horrible, even the dog could not eat the so called chicken. Avoid, better to choose from!!

Call in and thought we would grab a menu because where new in the area, was really thirsty so thought we would get a bottle of coke, £3,50 he tried charging my wife for one 1.5L bottle,, what a ripp off!!! Will not be using them at all ever, think its disgusting

Wow!! Amazing place!! Iam so surprised. 5/5 hagine rate? for what? Flys in the lamps? Pizza was very very very bad! I never eat nothing worst in my whole life. Stupednes how discusting that was. From me and from my family -10 never again! No tganks

Lucky to even get a one star. Garlic sauce was vile and the dinner wrap wasn't in a wrap but a pitta bread. Uneatable. Extremely poor

Best kebab in filey, I've lived here 4 years and this place has consistently good food. Mixed kebab comes with a home made pita. Beautiful

Great little place, food was quick and great. I would have to recommend the Pepperoni Burger but make sure to ask for his own recipe burger.

Just been in noticed i got short changed.told the guy who served me.he looked at me like i was trying to con him out of 40p.no apologie or anything of the sort terrible customer service.

How its got 5* hygiene I'll never know pots what sauce goes in looks like its not been cleaned in months just add new sauce to the pot 😷😷😷
