Mince and dumplings, has to be the finest dish I have ever had. Cannot recommend it enough. Perfection on a plate. The steak slice is pretty awesome too

Food was lovely, a large menu to choose from. Some a bit pricey but there is something for everyone. Wide choice catering for gluten free and vegan etc. The staff vary in friendliness, some are really pleasant.

First time here to meet friends and sat at lovely table in the corner with nice cushions on the seats. Waitress gave us the menu and could not believe the amount of choice. Tea for two £2.99 what a bargain. Had sandwiches & apple pie and cream and it was all delicious. Will definitely go again when in the area

Lovely catch with friends on two different occasions. Jody was our server on both occasions, she was friendly, attentive and entertaining and made our visit memorable. Ps remember the cream and piggies next time ! 😉

I called in for a scone and cake to take home. There was a lovely display of cakes, scones etc at the counter that looked tempting. The carrot cake was ok but going dry, I’ve never had dry carrot cake before. The scone (cherry and almond) was dry and had an overpowering flavour of almond essence. I’m guessing that both items had been hanging around for a day o two in the display and that was why they were dry. If I’d been eating in I would have sent the scone back. Not good enough and I won’t be calling back any time soon.

This cafe / bakery is our first choice when in this area. It was Monday morning when we came here for breakfast. Opened at 8.30am we were the first in. Seated and given menus by a lovely waitress. My husband ordered Eggs Benedict with Smoked Salmon and I chose Scrambled eggs with Smoked Salmon. Both of our breakfasts were delicious, well cooked and nicely presented. We ordered two ham salad rolls to take away for our onward journey. Excellent food, service and prices. We resisted the yummy selection of cakes 🍰!! We will be back when next in this area. Definitely recommended.

Stopped here for a quick snack and cuppa on my way to an event at Hardwick Hall Hotel. Staff were friendly and kindly found a table for me. I had a lovely cheese scone, warmed up with plenty of butter, and a pot of tea that produced three full cups. There was a vast array of delicious looking cakes on display, it was almost a shame I wasn’t there for lunch or afternoon tea.

Ordered a pot of tea,also fried egg roll on granary . 1,Very little butter on roll.Roll dry and falling apart .Indicative of old bread. 2,Tea bags of a poor cheap quality. Although I did not eat the product I still got charged, Staff not interested Not enough staff customers queuing for a table. Totally poor service.The owners should be trying to rectify the issues. Visited 10.15,19th June. May I add I have been hospitality catering for over 50years.This is a totally professional critique.

Very pleasant nicely presented cafe in sedgefield with an extensive menu. Big selection of tasty sandwiches, jacket potatoes and amazing looking cakes also a very good selection of gluten-free bread and cakes friendly staff what's not to like!

Rude staff making snarky comments which is not acceptable. I was made to feel unwelcome. I would have preferred to give 0 stars and I do not recommend at all and will not be re-visiting. They need to realise that they are waitresses in a cafe and with that type of attitude that is all they will ever be !!

Very busy was sat near staff were sitting ordered hot beef sandwich and Tuna paninni food was ok however conversation was hard due to member of staff cackerling loudly with another staff member having her lunch bought a malteaser shortbread to takeaway tasted as if it was 3 days old very dry

We came here for breakfast. Clean establishment. Friendly staff. Good menu. Food was good. A good feel about the place and obvious regular customers.

3 of us waited 15 mins for a table Staff could have been more polite when serving us . Beef in a roll is all you get no garnish of any description. We only ate here as most other place closed on a Monday. Staff handling money then handling food from display with bare hands . Wouldn't recommend.

Amazing tearoom, beautiful food, stunning cakes and good coffee. The staff are all absolutely amazing, very friendly and polite. Will return again very soon.

Terrific, lovely, perfect poached eggs. Great coffee. Very pleasant staff and a collection of cakes and pastry's to die for. Saw some people having huge bowls of soup and they said it was really nice. Extensive interesting menu. Must easily be the best place in Sedgefield.

Called in for Breakfast with friends. What a gem of a place this is. Extremely friendly staff, spotless inside. Breakfast was fabulous fresh bread thickly sliced. The whole breakfast and cuppa was delicious. Highly recommend and value for money.

This was the first time we'd eaten at Number 4 and we very much enjoyed our meal, it was perfectly cooked, very tasty and presented well. There was also a great, varied choice for vegetarians. We will be back and are recommending it to friends.

Once again an outstanding visit! Lovely little place with a great menu and top service! Eggs benedict was delicious again, and the selection of cakes, pastries and savoury items is excellent!

What a fantastic little cafe. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the food was fab. There was an extensive menu and all our choices came at the same time and were hot on service. The products were clearly quality and presentation was good. They also made pies local to the region, there were homemade cakes and they looked gorgeous. It is clearly a place frequented by locals

Locally known for selling overpriced and mouldy food, I bought a corned beef and potato slice to take to work only to find mould on the bottom. Called them to let them know and was told it was impossible as they were made fresh the night before, I then took it into the shop the next day and was told that it was definitely made the night before and I must have had it in my possession from an earlier date. Reluctantly gave me my money back. DON'T GO HERE

Excellent selection delivered for a family buffet at home. Food is first class with substantial portions, Scotch eggs and quiche absolutely delicious. A mouth watering selection of cakes with the lemon meringue and the strawberry tarts particularly good. Many thanks to all involved in providing such a feast.

Called in after a difficult visit to hospital. Ordered a Greek salad and a blue cheese/Waldorf torpedo. The salad was ok, no more, the torpedo was awesome. It was lovely sitting outside in the sun. Lovely staff, and the cakes looked incredible We will return

We enjoyed a lovely breakfast here. Smoked Salmon with poached eggs and Avocado on toast with poached egg. Lovely staff, busy bakery. They made filled rolls for us to take away, we also took a Corned Beef slice away for later. Managed to resist the delicious cakes! Having used this lovely café before, we will be back when next in the area.

Visited today for lunch with my teenage son. We really enjoyed our food, it was a busy little cafe but there was plenty of staff around so service was great. Had paninis, scone and chocolate fudge cake,the lattes are huge so would recommend an extra shot. The menu is very extensive so there is something for everyone. I work in a similar cafe and I priced up the difference and it was a lot cheaper than where I work and the portion size was much bigger so I'd say it is good value for money. We will be back again

Many plus points:- the staff are hard working and look happy to help. The choices are many, theres something for everyone including gluten free and vegan. Was nice and cool indoors even thought it was quite warm outside, and I`m pleased to see the tables a little more spaced out as on a previous visit (pre-covid) I felt like i was eating with the party at the next table. The reason it has lost 2 stars in my opinion is this, I think some things are a little expensive for what you get, my Millionaire shortbread certainly wasnt fresh, but as I had brought it home to eat there wasnt much I could do about it. Also my order was wrong, which is a big no-no. I work in hospitality, things go wrong, but I did get the feeling I was being blamed for your error.

I was going to leave a review, mostly positive, but after seeing the sarcastic and quite frankly rude replies from (I assume) the Manager/owner, I wont bother, except to say, while I know the customer isnt always right, they arent always wrong either, and if you are going to discuss them in your kitchen, please make sure they cant hear you!

Found this by reviews as a half way meet up point for lunch for 3 car parties. Staff willingly reserved us tables at the time requested and were ready for us on arrival. As soon as we saw the produce on sale for takeaway at the entrance way we knew we were in for a treat as we liked so much of it! The menu given us was extensive and every item we ordered exceeded expectations. Beautiful local / home baked produce all at reasonable prices and delivered with a smile by staff who were friendly and eager to please. Quite delightful. We were so impressed that on arrival at our holiday destination it was agreed that we had to book again on our return trip for brunch! Suffice to say the mainly breakfast items we ordered on the 2nd occasion were equally delicious and whilst so plentiful that we couldn`t physically eat a cake afterwards we all bought one from the fantastic array available as a takeaway for our tea. The owner / manager was very effective in replying to requests on Facebook messenger too. Highly recommended and obviously very popular locally going by the numbers eating and buying there.

Family meal out, which was nice. We had a club sandwich and a full English breakfast (beans/tomatoes), with cottage pie and peas. At the end of the day, all in all, it was good stuff but slightly expensive.

The food was really delicious and the Snickers bar for gluten free option was super tasty. Every the rest of my family had was really good too. Will definitely come back next time I'm in the area. Thanks for the good choices.

Great cakes and coffee. The owner is always helpful and she engages well with the customers. As well as eating there, the cakes and bread are great to take home and enjoy later.

Booked a table and glad we did, as this is a popular place - and for good reason. There is a choice of 54 sandwich fillings (I counted them) and that's just the cold sandwiches. There's also hot sandwiches, toasted sandwiches, filled pannini, tortilla wraps, salads, snack meals, jacket potatoes, pies, hot dinners, omelettes, ice cream and a handful of desserts.We chose well - one brie and lettuce sandwich with cranberry sauce and one stilton and grape sandwich, both in a generous torpedo roll with side salad and a few crisps.Hubby then had apple and blackberry pie with custard. That was really good as well.Friendly service and Covid aware. Highly rexcommended.

Me and a friend came for a coffee and a chat and it was fantastic! We were asked to sanitise our hands before being seated and gave our details in case of test n trace. We ordered a tea, a caramel latte and a cheese scone each. We were offered choices for the scone of cold, warmed or toasted. Toasted? I’d never heard of this but so glad I chose it. The scones were to die for, so much that I bought more to take home.I was really impressed with the later as it came hot, which is rare.The service from the staff was outstanding, food superb and the bakery section looked fabulous!The price was very reasonable too, under £7 for both of us and I’lldefinitely be back

This has to be one of the best afternoon teas we have every had, a wide section of tasty cakes, sandwiches, savorys just fantastic. So filling as well. I would recommend this to everyone

Just visited the tea shop ( as we do every Saturday) and I was absolutely blown away by the measures the staff were taking to make sure the health & safety of staff and customers were adhered to. Every customer was asked to wash their hands when they entered the tea room and staff were constantly washing theirs too, whether it be soap and water or hand sanitising. The staff are always clean and tidy but today was just on another level ( well done guys, keep it up, hope your hands don’t get too sore) Lyndsey

Called this afternoon for coffee. Coffee was good.Great selection of cakes and scones.Prices okTables a bit close together as it felt people were bumping into you when they tried to pass. The menu cards look the worse for wear and should in my opinion be replaced as it detracts from the image the venue is trying to project of an upmarket tea room.Would I call again the answer is yes.

Work not far away so from time to time order food to take away. I've recently had a few breakfast type sandwiches and can honestly say it's the nicest food I've had!Quality is great, really tasty, always a nice treat. If in the area give this place a try as the food is lovely!

Visited no 4 on a cold lunch time good coffee with a lovely cream scone.Staff efficient.Owner apologised for our wait it was extremely busy enjoyed our visit and will return.

Food average . Service erratic- -- young girl was very good , young man was disinterested . Generally staff were friendly and the food that was on display in the shop part looked very nice but the actual sandwich`s we had were just O K . The pot of tea was very good .

My friend and I had coffee and scones here last week. It was very busy....the cafe is small but cosy. The menu choice is excellent. Certainly worth trying for a light lunch.The cakes look gorgeous.....the jams, preserves and pickles in the shop are a really good addition as are the small gifts. Definitely worth a visit.

Lovely quaint teashop, offers tasty snacks, also an attached shop sells lovely pies jams and pickles. A little cramped but still very nice and reasonably priced.

Left it a bit late to eat but found Number Four open and gave it a try. So glad we did because we had a fantastic meal. The choice of food is quite extensive and it all came piping hot to the table, served by a jovial waitress, which I always find quite nice.There is ample parking behind the Co-op and also opposite, round the green.We shall return!

Occasionally my disabled brother drops in to buy a pre-baked meal. On the most recent occasion, I accompanied him as I was visiting. The staff were empathetic, polite and happy: the food (a rosti and some sausage rolls) was outstanding.

Had afternoon tea here, good selection of tea, I prefer builders tea and Mrs W a variety of funny smelling versions Great cakes!

What can I say about this cafe! Very busy with a certificate of excellence we thought we couldn’t go wrong. I ordered a cherry and bakewell scone and my husband a cheese, chive and bacon scone. My scone was very, very sweet and so stodgy it stuck to my teeth! My husband’s was also very stodgy and soggy and quite tasteless. As people who enjoy the odd scone these win the prize as the worst ever.

The best Afternoon Tea I’ve ever had,and I’ve had a few.More savoury included than I’ve had before,which was very nice.Cakes to die for and a handy box given to takeaway any not eaten.A small quirky place with friendly staff.Advise to book a table .A lovely place for a lunch,light snack,or just a cuppa.

We had been out walking and decided to pop in this lovely tea room for tea and cake but when we saw the lovely Sunday lunches being served we couldn't resist and we were not disappointed it was excellent, piping hot and plenty of veggies. We will definatly be back for the cake ☺️

Girls coffee get together- lovely coffee yummy cakes and pastries- lovely friendly staff - definitely make another visit!!

I was buying what a thought was a chicken pie....dont bother the small plate pie pastry is very soggy top and bottom!!! this pie is full of vegetables not chicken....so beware. Not good and labelled under false pretences. Thrown all of the pastry away and eaten about 7 bits of small chicken pieces. Do not buy this.

This was my first trip to number four and certainly my last.

i am normally keen to leave positive reviews to promote local businesses in my area but not today unfortunately. if you visit a cafe to have drinks or meals or afternoon tea with family and friends then you do not expect to be interrogated over whats been ordered and for whom its for, which is what happened at this cafe. In our party of 10 we all ordered drinks/food except for the 3 people who had already pre- ordered afternoon tea, After we sat down we were then asked to sit the people who were having afternoon tea together as this was being put on one plate. we politely requested that this be put on individual stands as we were already seated and not sat near each other. As we were expecting to pay for this per person we didn't expect this to be an issue. We were told this would look spare and the staff seemed reluctant to do this despite us being ok with whatever a space portion would be. Then all of the sudden the cafe owner was on the phone interrogating a member of the party having been told by her staff that all the party of 10 were all sharing 3 afternoon teas which is ridiculous and not the case at all.(we did order separate drinks and food for other party members) In the end we all walked out as some of the members of the party were very upset and we didn't feel the business deserved our custom and took this elsewhere. In all the times we have been out together previously we have never experienced treatment like this and would regard this as very unprofessional by the cafe owner and some of her staff..

Lovely lite cafe with an excellent range of hot and cold drinks. The cakes are especially good. It is quite small and can get very busy. The staff are very friendly.

Number Four is the place to go for breakfast or lunch if you like high quality home cooked food. With a large menu of savouries and cakes there is no better place to go.

Fabulous! Best ever! We even had a “doggy box” to take home what we couldn’t eat - the sandwiches were freshly made, the cakes and scones were glorious! Would recommend this!

Excellent food and service as always. Always busy, advisable to book ahead at peak times. Cash payments only but there is a cash machine close by.

It seems that extra tables have been added. Whilst I understand why it has been done, demand calls for it, it has now meant that you either sit on top of the table next to you or you get everyone going to and from the washrooms trying to squeeze past. I suspect a wheelchair could create major problems. It really takes the edge of what is otherwise a really lovely place. Its not expensive but the crowding means it is not the best value overall.

We stopped off at Sedgefield on our journey to have a coffee and a cake. So pleased we did, it was first time any of us had been before but it is a delightful small town with a village type feel, a lovely church and green surrounded by old pubs and little shops and cafes. As it was a lovely day we sat outside but there is some seating inside as well. The choice of food, cakes, pies, quiches, sandwiches etc just amazing for such a small tearoom. Took us ages to choose! Once ordered and paid for the staff took our meals and drinks out to us, and if you wanted a refil of coffee we just had to ask and out they came with another pot of coffee for everyone, at no extra charge, amazing. We loved it so we stopped again on our way home a few days later and the service was exactly the same, excellent.

A nice little tea shop, not very big inside so it soon gets very busy. We had afternoon tea and it was lovely. Everything home made, fresh and delicious. The cafe menu is extensive so lots to choose from. Also a good selection of scones, pastries and cakes are available to buy at the counter.

This cafe is a regular for me to cycle to. The food and coffee refills are all pretty good and consistently so. I’d say it’s slightly on the expensive side and a little cramped inside and out. However the reason for this review is the outstanding customer service we receive when visiting! Always well staffed and the staff always seem happy and nothing is ever too much trouble. Service with a smile and a personality. A real asset to the cafe.

Quite a small coffee shop, staff were pleasant but it’s very expensive £13.80 for 2 coffees and 2 pieces of cake. We asked if we could pick a cake from the shop but we’re not told it was £4+ for each piece of cake. Won’t be returning

A busy tea room on Sedgefield High St UK, only called in for coffed but stayed for a delicious light lunch. Reminded me of 1950s style service with very friendly staff and good wholesome food.

Popped in for some breakfast whilst visiting for the weekend - food was fantastic and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Will be back again tomorrow!!

Just had a fabulous afternoon tea for my mums birthday at Number 4 tea shop, Sedgefield.

Travelled to uk, my son took me for a belated mothers day treat and so it was. Lovely place clean and welcoming, ordered afternoon teas, savoury sandwiches pastries and quiche all delicious, the 3 tier cake stand was packed with various kinds of cakes and 3 different types of scone all tasted yummy, what we couldn't eat they boxed up to take home. When i'm back in the area will go again, well worth a visit

Had lunch on Good Friday so the place was busy but staff were friendly and cheerful.

Been here before for afternoon tea, was so nice decided to return with friends, didn’t even realise they did Sunday lunch so gave it a try and definitely not disappointed, great portion, just like homemade and unbelievable choice of deserts afterwards (I went for the cornflake tart and custard), absolutely delicious, lovely friendly staff, can’t recommend enough

Upon entering the tea shop I was immediately greeted by the aromatic scent of fresh scones cakes and lunch time bites being indulged by my fellow guests , I was met upon entering by a kind faced lady who seated me on my individual table . After scanning over the menu for a brief period of time I decided upon sampling a couple of the items on the menu to hopefully to witness the prowess of lunchtime snacks number four is renowned for . I selected a jacket potato which arrived with an assortment of salad coleslaw adjacent to my Cajun chicken and cheese panini to go .... the jacket potato was fluffy as expected however the filling which lay over the mound of potato was sadly not up to the standards I was hoping for ; chicken and bacon was quite sickly in the large amount I was providing and found myself wading through the second half however despite this the salad and coleslaw was thoroughly enjoyed.Now onto the panini, I had high hopes of this delicacy of an Italian sandwich which happened to live up to expectations, perfectly seasoned Cajun chicken and rich cheese overflowing from the crispy but not burnt Italian bread filled me with delight as it was hastily devoured and resulted in the absence of desert after my meal, however this shall be reviewed on my return . Overall I enjoyed my visit and shall be returning.

Being local, I come here quite regularly to take out. Their pies and cakes never disappoint and the selection is HUGE. I sometimes go here to meet a friend for breakfast too. Again cafe has lots of choice and provides friendly service.

I visited today and the owner of the shop is rude about the staff. Slagging them off in front of customers. This is very unprofessional, and for one I will not be eating here again. The staff were trying their hardest and keeping everybody happy there was not one complaint from anybody in there. Doesn’t look like anything will keep her happy.

Grandaughter asked for a nice coffe shop, then friends asked for the same.

Decided to visit with family after reading good reviews however having turned up at 1.30 on a Saturday the venue was extremely busy, the layout is terrible there was no indication who was browsing, buying, waiting for food or anything. As we were a party of four with one wheelchair user I ended up calling over the counter to ask for assistance & if we needed to reserve a table and come back at another time, I was met with an extremely rude response of it just depends... we left and came back later in the afternoon and again were greeted with a similar response, we decided to give the place the benefit of the doubt & just get cakes to takeaway, spent approx £30 on a various selection none which were great. Will not be returning based mainly on staff & would not recommend.

The choice of cake is great, and the menu wide enough to cover just about everyone's tastes. Its regularly busy so well worth booking ahead of a visit.

Number Four was already pretty full when we arrived soon after 11 on a Sunday morning. Every table seemed to be having a very nice looking meal.

My partner and a group of friends came to lunch and from beginning to end it was fantastic. Staff very friendly, restaurant was clean and choice of food was brilliant.

Took my son for a bite to eat .. we both selected Stilton and Waldorf salad in a Granery torpedo . First had one of these about 20 years ago .. nothing has changed .. it’s still a great mouthful .. long may you reign!!

I called in for a Sandwich - Brie & walnut - very bland / lacked flavour / - expensive wont be back in a hurry

Been here a few times over the years, the food is very good and reasonable. The staff are friendly and polite. The bonus is they do amazing cakes! Worth every penny its a must if you are in the area!

Our voucher for afternoon tea was a gift from our family and what a gift. Every item of food was spot on and the tea very refreshing. There was enough for three people so what we brought home has made our elderly neighbour very happy. Well worth the visit.

We had lunch here whilst visiting Sedgefield. We ordered soup of the day but they had sold out so opted for their No4 subs. I had coronation chicken which was very nice and hubby hat a hot roast beef with extra onions,which was even nicer. The service was very quick and there was a huge selection of home made cakes to enhance our visit.

Good place for meeting a friend - always busy - not a lot of space but clearly popular with return customers. Prices and quality of food are very good

Great place to call by on a bike ride, very friendly owner let me lock my bike inside so I could relax and enjoy the most lovely lemon cake and coffee!

This cafe appears to be thriving, filled with people who seemed to have travelled especially. I had the breakfast - hot, freshly cooked which is more than can be said for most. They sell delicious looking baked goods, so the next try will be afternoon tea!

I visited the cafe this weekend for the first time to meet a friend who recommended it. I’m so glad she did, this cafe is a little gem. I had a chicken club sandwich and it was lovely, nicely presented, lovely bread and plenty of it with a nice side salad. We bought some cakes to bring home , the chocolate cake is amazing!

I have been eating at Number Four Teashop for about 10 years & travel from Hartlepool - I have recommended the venue to lots of friends who have in turn recommended to their friends. A friend and I visited on Friday & were asked to 'vacate' the table we were occupying so that two other customers could take our table - we were told it was reserved although there was no reserved sign displayed & there were 2 other tables the other customers could have been seated at. After struggling to vacate the table (we were both disabled & used walking aids) - we were then shown to a small table beside a pillar where we had much difficulty in getting seated as there was not enough room & I myself was knocking arms with the person at the next table. If this wasn't enough we were then badgered to make an order when I'd already stated we weren't ready (we'd only been given about 3 minutes to read an extensive menu) - the waitress then asked for a drinks order - I had to then insist we weren't ready. Whilst then trying to put our negative experiences aside I then noticed that there were DEAD flies hanging off the pillar. My friend & I were absolutely disgusted & agreed we could not now eat anything for two reasons - 1. that we had been put off & 2. for fear they might fall onto any plate of food we might order. We then left & were pursued by a different waitress who thought we were leaving without paying. We will NEVER visit Number Four Teashop again & I will ensure that all the people I had recommended the venue to are informed of our experiences on Friday.

nice meal in homely surroundings would thoroughly recommend, had the all day breakfast, my wife and my mam had chilli con carne

Called in with family after a funeral, we have been here before and it was lovely, but a bit disappointed this time, I had sausage and egg sandwich, no buns round buns left fine with that it was getting on inthe afternoon, but the torpedo bun was too big for the sausage which was tough and dry, my mam had lasagne which was tasty but had hipuge chunks of onion and mushroom in, they could've been chopped a bit finer, and my take away cheesecake had a sour taste maybe it had been on display a little too long, disappointing all round this visit. Hi ever the service was excellent a lovely smiley waitress

As shared the surroundings were lovely, afternoon tea was fabulous - far too much so it was boxed up for us to take home, the staff were so lovely and friendly I'm really looking forward to a return visit soon x

We found this great Teashop last year, so as we were in this area again we knew where we were going for breakfast.

Staff helpfully accommodated a party of 8 plus a baby for breakfast. And what a lovely breakfast it was! Just watch out for the “extras” which are seemingly offered as part of your meal. Otherwise, excellent food and excellent service.

I only live a couple of miles outside of sedgefield but rarely venture into the town. I found this teashop whilst having a wander round and fell in love with it.it has a little takeaway section as well as the sit-in cafe.also 3 or 4 tables outside for a nice day.on our day off,I took along a work colleague for some lunch.i had chicken+coleslaw on a brown torpedo roll and my friend had pork+ stuffing on a white bap. Both very nice+freshly made.then we had cake.now,if like us,you love cake,then this is the place for you.there is a fantastic selection.cake,cheesecake,tarts+flans.we couldn't decide so the lovely staff helped us+ talked us through the selection.i find it hard to believe a previous reviewer found the staff anything other than great. I will definitely be visiting again soon.in fact on our next day off together all 5 of us from work are going for a treat.cant wait.i also think it's reasonably priced.a really nice selection of biscuits,jams +gifts available aswell.

Had a lovely breakfast of scrambled eggs on toast; really well cooked and on lovely wholemeal bread.
