Excellent, can’t fault it! Have been here on many occasions and have never had a bad experience. The food and drinks are excellent and so is the service. The staff are all really nice, friendly and attentive. We have had most things on the menu including vegetarian and always leave contented. The cakes and other deserts are second to none and variety of drinks is great.

Visited cafe on bike ride from Sleaford. This nice little small cafe is easily on of the best in the area, and unlike some other popular haunts, like that windmill in Wymondham, here they actually put some effort into the food! This is a good cafe for cyclists, but only with small groups, e.g. 4–5 cyclists.

Baker's at sixty two appears to be under new management. If so the new people are doing far better than this there last time I visited. It is tidy, efficient and very friendly. True it was a sunny day and we sat outside but overall it seemed fresh and welcoming. Excellent coffee and cakes and the brunches coming out looked superb.

Just the best - enough said! Flat white perfection. Definitely worth the pedal power. A real treat whether you're cycling or just passing by.

A wonderful afternoon tea . Tea in a proper pot and three tiers of tasty delights. These included well filled sandwiches ( veggie options available) tangy lemon posset, warm savoury tart, beautifully iced cupcake and warm scone with clotted cream to name a few . This really was a very generous spread and I made use of the doggie bag to take leftovers home . I was pleased to see paper bags and paper food wrap- no single use plastic. A really friendly place , busy yet relaxing . Fantastic afternoon

Given the ambience, quality of food, choice and presentation this should be a stone cold 5 star review unfortunately there were a few 'issues' I feel have dropped this to 3 stars. I'm siorry if you think I am being over zealous in my criticism but these are important to me. Firstly the good: lovely food, well presented and full of flavour and even though it was busy it didn't take too long to arrive. Now the bad: meal prep and serving lady with a tea towel over her shoulder, a real no no and should EHO see it they wouldn't be happy. And finally the ugly: A young lady customer invited to go behind the serving counter to make her own smoothie because it was busy, now that is bad enough but when she has long flowing hair not tied back, street clothes, no apron and then proceeds to keep touching her face/mouth and going (a) into the fridge to get the ingredients and (b) then wanders into the kitchen without washing her hands it is too much. As I say, I can't fault the food (coffee was a little bitter for my taste) but the above have crashed this from 5 stars to 3 stars. Such a shame.

We had a delightful time enjoying a fabulous afternoon tea. The service was excellent and discrete. The food was very tasty and varied and we were given a bag to take away what we could not manage at the time.

Until about a month ago there were two cafes in Long Bennington, No 62 and the Bake House Deli. I was not very happy with the Bake House as my entry on Trip Advisor will confirm, and the owner wished me success trying elsewhere. Follwoing that review the establishment shut within days, was it something I said? The advice she gave me was sound, and I went a couple of hundred of yards up the road to this establishment. The Food was excellent, service friendly and prompt. Only a couple of gripes, the coffee was a little watery, and at 2pm they had run out of white rolls for the sausages, and only offered brown baps instead. I would have thought a trip to the Co Op just across the road would have been the answer. Please sort out the coffee. Will visit again.

The staff are lovely but there it ends ... The food is mediocre and overpriced for what it is and the staff as nice as they are oh so slow atrocious! Oh yes and forgetful... Has the potential to be very good but as with your sister outlet in Orston get a grip !

Thought we would stop here as it looked quaint and with outside seating . 4 people inside and 4 outside all but one served. Ordered and seemed to take ages for a Tea to arrive and then the table in front of us who had clearly been there longer than us received theirs. No joking but the Tea came some 15 mins later and no one else needed serving after us ! Then the food...well that took an extra 25 minutes (and i am being generous with my watch here) after the tea and by then i had drank the tea , rushed the food as i had been there an hour by then all for a sandwich and a cuppa . I could understand if there was a queue before us but everyone was fed and watered apart from us so why the hold up? Doubt i would return all the same as i would have to order a day before i think just to ensure it got to me in time. I hope they never get a rush on or it could be a nightmare scenario.

I often call in at the cafe if I'm passing whilst out on a bike ride. I've had bacon rolls, jacket potato and cakes and they've all been lovely. My only gripe is that the indoor part of the cafe is a bit on the small side and can only seat about 12 people. There is plenty of outdoor seating in front of the cafe, so you can sit outside if it's a nice day.

The staff are great and very attentive but unfortunately the service is extremely slow if you order a coffee your be waiting 10 to 15 minutes if you order any panini or any kind of cooked food you could be kept waiting anywhere between 20 to 40 minutes, even if it's not busy, overall a nice place for a coffee but a shame about the wait.

A group of four of us arrived late one Saturday afternoon (it closes at 3.30) and there was only a few slices of carrot cake and lemon drizzle cake left, however, the lovely lady behind the counter informed us that she had a Victoria sponge cake that she just needed to make up and the we could have a slice of that. My friends opted for the carrot cake and lemon drizzle, but I took her up on the offer of the Victoria sponge and how pleased I was! Light and moist with just the right about of flavoursome jam and smooth butter cream. I also tried a bit of my friends' cakes which were equally delicious and I would also add that the slice of carrot cake was HUGE!!

This was always our go to place for brunch and we were regular visitors Last two times… Had quiche and salad - quiche bottom was soggy and inedible, informed waitress who said that she would tell the chef and that’s likely to happen with the type of filling… ok soo stuff happens On next visit had soup and it was tasteless, no one came to check how the meal was and not possible to stop someone as busy busy. Ate the bread and left the soup. Mentioned it wasn’t good and couldn’t eat it when we paid, just said “oh sorry about that” And carried on We paid in full but was more disappointed in the way our feedback was taken… eg dismissed. could def be improved upon… same waitress both times Sadly we haven’t been back

Just ordered a sauage abd mushroom baguette. Awful greasy mushrooms that tasted and smelt like old oil. Totally spoilt my baguette as the oil soaked into the bread. No butter at all too.

Very nice spot for a lunch in a busy market square in a lovely town - where we wanted somewhere independent and with a bit of character. Found a table outside which was a perfect holiday moment spot. Good choice of sandwiches, good coffee. Best part though was climbing the stairs to the top floor of the ancient building to find the loo.

Been here several times for breakfast and lunch Lovely food, friendly staff and good coffee Nicely done out inside too If I was to have one criticism it’s the tea… it’s weak and I think you should offer a more “robust” bag for those that like strong tea Apart from not everyone wanting posh tea bags this is now our “go to brunch place” for good , hot and yummy food I can always drink the coffee instead!!

Visited as the veterans reception after the remberence day parade was held there. There was a good selection of real ale, my preference Abbot Ale, was well kept. The Jolly has new Landlords and I enjoyed my visit there. The pub is locall to me and I will be back.
