I'm a regular customer at Nudo. While it's not the cheapest option, it's usually not very busy, which is rare in the city centre. However, my last visit on 11/2/24, after the Chinese New Year dragon parade, was unusually busy. I ordered a small sushi box and a bubble tea to go, but the cashier didn't provide me with a receipt as usual. When I inquired about the price of the sushi, as it wasn't labeled on the box, the cashier's response was unhelpful, stating that all sushi boxes have different prices. Then I requested a receipt, she quickly apologized and refunded me the full amount, then recharged me and provided the receipt as expected. The coincidence of being overcharged and not receiving a receipt seemed too convenient to ignore. It appears that staff could manipulate the system, possibly inputting higher-priced items such as the most expensive bubble tea but providing the correct order. Many customers might not bother to check their receipts, especially if not initially provided. While the sushi was satisfactory, the bubble tea lacked flavor, and the disposable plastic cup was too flimsy to hold properly. Additionally, the paper straw became damp and broke when there was still a third of the bubble tea left. Given this experience, I have no intention of returning to Nudo. With plenty of other options available, including better-quality bubble tea, I'll be exploring elsewhere in the future.

I used to love the occasional trip to Nudo. But disappointed by the 20% price increase recently. I understand things are getting more expensive, but their food was hardly cheap to begin with. Almost £11 for food reheated in a microwave in my opinion is way too much. Won’t be coming back I’m afraid :(

I usually go to Nudo, a few times a month. I have been away since the start of April but I got back and went for lunch and absolutely disappointed to see that the prices have been increased by over 20%! Similar Places such as Itsu did not increase their prices! Absolutely terrible!

I recently visited Manchester with my fourteen year old daughter who was very keen to have lunch in a Sushi bar. I know Nudo Box isn't exactly an authentic Sushi bar but I knew where it was and it was close to the railway station so we headed straight there for an early lunch. My daughter went with a chicken Katsu sushi selection and I had the teriyaki salmon with rice meal. I got a decent sized piece of tasty salmon served with a decent portion rice, beansprouts, shredded carrot and edamame beans. My daughter was more than happy with her sushi. Service was quick and efficient and there was plenty of seating available, although it was still fairly quiet at the time. The price was reasonable for what we got.

Ordered, got charged, but food never arrived. Never order directly from their site - it doesn't work.

Visited Feb 2025. One of our party suffers from allergies. The care taken by our host to ensure his needs were met massively exceeded our expectations. Didn't get her name, but she was immense. Thank you. I always enjoy a Wagamama. Food is typical Wagamama fayre. Still don't like the bench like seating - I am too big and heavy for that! But a minor gripe! One of the better Wagamama's in the chain.

Love this chain of Wagamama. Great service, great food. Got to a point where they already know the order when I walk in. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

Half price Tuesdays really add to your quality of life, which, when living in West Didsbury, couldn’t really get much better anyway
