Great location for games and fun, honestly it's a great vibe and a fun place to be. Unfortunately the food was not worth the extortionate price on it, I ordered a margarita and there was barely even cheese on it and it was dry, it gets ordered from Pedro's and i was really let down with what I got for the price. The staff were amazing and the place was on point despite this and we'll definitely return we just won't order food.

Very nice place, atmosphere is cool, the consoles some of the controllers are sticky, and broken, other than that no complaints, the best machine is the bike racing one i love it will be back keep up good work

Amazing night out with friends, playing retro games. Certainly took me back all token based. Some machines were a bit warn out on the crt and mechanisms all functioned fine. A great selection of cocktails and retro drinks.

I came to the Peter street venue and was served by a man named George, he was very happy to serve us and helpful when explaining how the token system worked. His drinks knowledge was very good too. We ordered the Kirby cocktail which came with a light up ice cube that changed colours, how fun is that!!! The names of all the cocktails were game related/orientated, so cool Looked after us all night, 100% would visit again. Thank you so much George !

I’m visiting Manchester for a few days and was looking for somewhere to chill and relax for the evening. Saw this pop up on google when searching for arcades (originally was going to travel to Bury for Arcade Club but it’s closed midweek), and I’m so glad I went. The lady at the bar tonight was awesome, guided me through how things work, recommended me a cocktail (which was lovely), and was very kind, hospitable and up for a nice chat. The place itself is a mood, evoking that grungey subcultural feel us gamers all know and love. Great selection of games, drinks, and the prices are very reasonable. I’m honestly amazed. I wish we had somewhere like this where I’m from in Kent. Whenever I come to Manchester, this is going to be my first port of call from now on! Thanks for a great evening!

One of the best nights I’ve ever had was here, great music, staff and really hit with the nostalgia feeling, between the old arcade games, the sega megadrive, Nintendo 64, PS2 original Xbox and so much more, I didnt want to leave! Highly recommend and if ever I find myself back in Manchester will be straight there!

Cool place to come if you like retro games. Tokens are purchased at the bar along with drinks. Tokens do run out quick when you are having fun but it's all worth it. Decor is awesome too

Me and my partner always come here since our very first date 3 years ago, there's a great atmosphere and staff are always friendly and welcoming. Cocktails are great and I love that I can get my favourite blue hooch, always. There's a great addition with the photo booth! Definitely worth visiting every time!

Love the funky decor and the music is awesome!! Loads of different games for you to play whilst sipping some lovely cocktails.

Better games at Northern Quarter venue

Absolutely loved coming here. First time we tried a NQ64 bar and it didn't disappoint! We came in for drinks after the gig we were supposed to be going to got postponed last minute and Brian made our night. He gave us amazing service! He was very welcoming and class banter. Definitely helped with our misery of missing the gig. Games and cocktails were class. We only planned on going in for an hour and stayed for 5! I'm a 90's kid and loved playing all of games they had that I played as a kid! 10/10 would highly recommend.

This place is great if you love to game and socialise at the same time! Brian on the bar is great fun too!

I was refused entry due to being a menace to society, judged solely on my comfortable leg apparel.

Got acussed of doing drugs when sat at a game and also assaulted but the bouncers even tho we was leaving the premise they was sickening and will never go again I have a heart monitor there was five of them on me and my partner for no reason stngling my partner at the door even tho we was already outside what a joke of a place these kind of bouncers are the ones that really badley hurt people and are going to do It to far one day and sadly the innocent public will be the ones who suffer the manger Is a joke his way of accusing me is disrespectful and disgusting wouldn't even mind I've got an infection. And was cleaning my nose can't believe you can't even be out with a cold without being accused of this what this world is coming to.

Was here for an event. The staff were amazing and couldn't do enough for us. Good beer selections but then there's the arcades. What an awesome venue!!!!!!! Definitely would come here again, absolutely love the vibe!

Nice place with retro machines. But they are old, fail frequently and eat tokens without working. Best of luck trying to get them back or refunded. Decent beer but expensive.

I visited the venue on the 26th of April and was taken aback by the unprofessional behavior of the security team. Their approach was not only unwelcoming but also extremely rude.

Lovely smell when I came in and my bartender was so lovely and provided really good service, he was very knowledgeable on the drinks and was able to recommend me a lovely cocktail called akuaku as well as make me some classics too. Spent a lovely night in NQ64 last week. The service was tremendous especially from a lovely waitress named Emma. My son suffers from autism but absolutely adores retro games, Emma was ever so kind to him and made this night one to remember.

Had a very enjoyable couple of nights here. Staff are lovely especially one of the bartenders called Emma as she was very helpful when I lost my phone. Overall a great place with great staff!

A must visit for anyone in Manchester that enjoys games, good drinks and great vibes. Came in for late night cocktails on a 1 night visit, served by Shim on multiple occasions, ridiculously good cocktail knowledge and making ability. Couldn’t recommend this place for a drink and of course a bit of a game!

Took my sister to this hot spot after some recommendations from colleagues. Couldn’t have been more spoilt for choice when it comes to arcade games, which I love. I love that. Also the bartender Shim was very friendly and pointed us to our favourite game Golden Axe. We used to call it Amanda Holden Axe because we thought it was cockney rhyming slang. We always have such a lovely time at Nq64 Peter street it’s 100% the best site and that’s from someone who’s visited almost alllll of them 💁🏻‍♀️ Joe and Brian were lovely on the bar today they were happy to make us some off menu cocktails (ask for a margarita and thank me later! ) and were friendly and welcoming 🥰 try the Lara’s lost if you love a spritz in the summer this one has a winter twist to it! Also get down and try and beat the high score on pac man with some great cocktails to fuel you! Thanks for a great time as per guys!

Absolutely love coming here. The atmosphere is always amazing and I love the drinks! The staff are really friendly and are happy to make off-menu cocktails if you fancy something different. Had some great service from Joe and Brian who were very welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu and wider cocktails. Really enjoyed the games (unless I lost), especially the OutRun Ferrari game!! Loads of arcade games I loved as a kid! 10/10 recommend

Not open when advertised to be open. Supposedly open at 4pm and still closed at 4.20pm. Check it’s open before arrival.

Nice enough place, their guitar hero needs calibrating though, there's a delay which makes it hard to hit the notes, you can also barely hear what you're playing because everything else is so loud so it's kind of pointless. Wish it had headphones or was in it's own little sound booth, but I understand that's probably unlikely to happen.

Busy,some nice cocktails,fun arcades and for everyones taste,music can be quite lot tho so maybe hard to talk.

A really nice arcade hall where you can try out som old consoles for free, but also try some of the real arcades. You get 15 tokens for 8 pund and around half of the machines cost 2 tokens, the rest is 1. Really good old school music when we were there. Shazam didn’t recognize any of the songs😢 Nice place to have some fun 🤩!

Can't knock the great game choice and the cocktails and overall vibe of the place, but the service always seems like the staff are disinterested, and the cost of coins and how much the machines cost mean you're constantly back and forth to the machines, but I guess that's for the upkeep of the machines which is top notch.

This place was an absolute amazing find! It's so cool! All the cocktails are game themed, so many cool old games! And the vibe was just amazing!!!!

Found this place on a whim (had seen another one elsewhere in Manchester before our visit though!) 15 tokens for £8 and most games were either 1 or 2 tokens per person. Also a selection of consoles available to play on (for free!) The cocktails were delicious too! Definitely recommend this place!

Great and unique place for a night out. Brilliant cocktails and great mixture of new and retro arcade games.

Attempted to go in on remembrance Sunday wearing our poppy and veteran medals. Was appalled when the doorman said we were intoxicated and refused entry. Bare in mind we'd just finished work and we're looking to have a few beers 😀 and make use of the facilities during this significant day for Veterans and our serving members of the armed forces. The man in charge of the door clearly has an issue with service personnel.

Fun UV-designed bar with retro arcade and classic console games, far from the typical! Super nostalgic. Perfect date night spot for couples. Most games are single or two-player. Token system, no cash needed. Cool cocktails and craft beer options are available. No entry fees and usually no queue at the entrance. Relatively small space so can be crowded during peak hours. Retro gaming and beer - brilliant combination

Loved this place! We stopped in for an unexpected visit on my stag do. The staff were friendly and even gave me a free pot of tokens. Great selection of games and drinks. I loved that the consoles were free too so you werent forced to spend a fortune.

WEVE BEEN HERE TWICE IN THE PAST. Tonight the bouncers decided to unnecessarily decided to kick us out of the establishment for picking tokens up off the floor which I accidentally **dropped** so we spent 8£ on tokens to just get booted out at 12:15 in the morning for NO READON. I do believe the staff are kind people however the way we were treated by the bouncers/manager was simply horrible DO NOT VISIT THIS BAR!!!!

Me and my partner who DO NOT DRINK, turned up sober and were refused entry for being “too drunk”. The bouncers were very rude and disrespectful. Very unfortunate, will not be returning.

NQ64 is very cool, but there is no sega rally or virtual tennis. They serve Asahi on draft!.
