Nova Forest Kitchen in New Forest

Last visited 6 weeks ago and were disappointed with a 45 minute wait. Gave it another go this morning. Completely ignored by the staff. A gentleman who arrived at the same time placed his order and was eating at the point when we walked out. No consistency. Plenty of staff, but no management of customer flow. There are other places locally who clearly value their customers more. We won’t be giving them yet another chance.

Took terminally ill mum on crutches waited about 10 mins not seated so had to sit down was told off for sitting so we left even though I’d explained mum couldn’t stand anymore . Thought I’d try once more on my own so went for late lunch again not busy only 2 tables taken nobody around so sat down waited 10 mins then left . Service very poor . Prior to this have eaten there food good but my god service - it’s soo slow !!!

Wow! What a lovely place to visit. I had absolutley no idea this place existed until a friend suggested it to me. The staff were wonderful and the food was marvelous. It had such a warmth and comfy feeling inside. Will definitely go back there with friends and family.

Looking for a nice place for my mum and I after a trip to Exbury, and as she is diary free this always takes a little more planning. This place is superb! Mum had the chicken gyozo stir fry with loads of Asian veg, and I had the balsamic beetroot and IOW goats cheese salad, with caramelised walnuts and dates - both divine. Just a shame it's not more local for us, but will definitely be back when visiting New Forest, thank you so much

Amazing food at my local ‘cafe’ - a hidden gem in a small village. Food is fresh and beautifully presented and tastes sooooooo good. If you’re ever passing through Dibden Purlieu then this is an absolute good enough reason to stop for some fabulous grub at great prices. I feel very lucky to have this on my doorstep.

I have been past this place hundreds of times but I have never been in however, having finally done so, I will be going back. There are some quirky options on the brunch menu but they do a full English if that’s what you fancy. My advice is “take a risk” and have the breakfast tacos because they are seriously good and 100% definitely what I will be having when I go back. It’s easy to overlook what’s on your doorstep and this place surprised me. My mistake which I’m hopefully making up for by telling you. Enjoy :)

Went here on recommendation, as it was rated much better than our usual breakfast cafe, very disappointed small portion sizes for full English no where near match. Vegan option very limited and extremely overpriced for build your own option, and even more overpriced with service charge. Definitely not worth it !!!!!!!

Cannot wait to eat at Nova Forest again, hopefully before their international menu changes every 2 months. Could have chosen nearly anything from the current menu. Decided on sweet potato hash browns - which came with at least 10 vegetables. Delicious and healthy. My friend had the chicken in a bun - so many more flavours than it sounds. Both dishes were mouth watering until the end! I live in London and this is as good as food I occasionally eat in well known restaurants there (for a LOT less). May try and eat the Korean bubble and squeak before I go back... and invent an excuse to eat the American breakfast. Great for vegans and veggies too: the reverse of the menu gives them as much choice as omnivores, for once. Cannot wait to meet the same friend there on my next visit. What a gem. They even have tasting evenings. I almost don't want to recommend it...

Had heard good things about the food but had never got around to visiting before. We went along for breakfast today and it was great. Good quality food and great service. We'll be back again!

We love coming to Nova Kitchen! I’ve never had a bad meal here. I recommend the banana pancakes, Mexican breakfast and the American pancakes. I’m not a fan of the coffee they use I find it’s very bitter. Staff are friendly and great location.

This review is for the private catering part of Nova. Regan and Pippa provided outstanding service for a milestone birthday party for friends and family. Amazing menu, impeccably presented and totally professional. Thank you so much for making my evening so special. You took care of everything so I could truly enjoy it.

Second time we go for breakfast and both times have been amazing. Great menu, with plenty of options (as well as veggie and gluten free). So far we had the Persian, Mexican, American, Korean and English breakfasts and they were all fantastic. The food doesn’t come quickly but it is well worth the wait. Highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed.

Not my first time here but never disappoints, food ans service always consistent and amazing pancakes! Well shall be back

We are lucky to have the Nova Forest Kitchen as our local 'goto' restaurant. Whether for breakfast, lunch, themed evening or a good old Sunday roast, it never disappoints. Popped in for Sunday lunch and once again no complaints from me whatsoever.

We came here for coffee and cake this morning and cannot fault the Nova Forest Kitchen. Staff are always welcoming and friendly and the food is always top notch! The decor is lovely and warm and inviting.

I’ve been a regular here since they opened and have always found it a great place to eat. Food is top class with menu items you don’t usually see elsewhere. Service is good, staff are friendly and helpful, food is excellent. I attended their first Supper Club and the food was amazing, so I’ve already put my name down for the next one.

We had a wonderful meal at Nova Forest this evening attending their first ever supper club. The menu was well thought out, tasty and very well cooked. The dishes were slightly different from the run of the mill, and all were well executed. The service was excellent and our waitress ensured that we were very well looked after.

Decided to nip in for a spot of lunch - had visited previously for coffee and cake and the experience was good. Ordered the chicken club and it was excellent! Good edition to the village, could not visit more than once a week as a little out of my budget for more frequency than that.

I would like to say to you what an incredible lunch I had at your restaurant today, I brought my daughter in law for lunch. I was delighted at your menu, your selection of items and the unique ingredients you offer, really made my day. I am a chef myself and I was blown away been able to order something I don’t have on my menu. I had the duck Bao and my daughter in law had the bubble and squeak. Bloody lovely. Well done Nova forest kitchen and well done chef.

Aby was friendly with a good knowledge of the menu and was able to answer of my questions relating to my dietary requirements.

10/10 roast. I like to eat out a lot. By far this is the best beef roast I’ve had. Great flavours and hot. Even better it’s on my door step. I cannot wait to return and try a burger.

Popped in for breakfast and - WOW - didn't expect to find such a gem of a place so local. Menu full of favourites and things a little bit different but with so many fabulous little touches that made it an overall great experience. Lovely...

Beautiful fresh food with a great veggie/vegan menu. Lovely decor and atmosphere, and friendly staff. I'm veggie verging on vegan so I'm usually restricted with menu choices locally - the menu here was amazing and I had loads of options which were all tempting.
