Arrived today at 07.30 and received a warm welcome from the owner Wendy! She also agave a warm welcome to our dog Belle! We were greeted by four of the locals who we know quite well and then we ordered tea cakes marmalade and toast plus two cappuccinos. This is a lovely friendly place and worth a visit. They've just decorated the inside too!

Lovely greeting, as always from Wendy! Try the full English, you'll love it! My wife usually has the poached eggs cooked lightly on toast and a black coffee while I'll have a sausage or bacon sandwich and a cappuccino! No problem bringing your dogs in, as long as they're well behaved!!!!

We came here again the other Saturday morning at 07.45 and were greeted by a warm smile from Wendy, the owner of this café in the centre of new Milton high street. As we were going out to lunch later that day I just had a tea cake with butter and strawberry jam. My wife had her usual poached eggs on toast! We also enjoyed two cappuccinos too! I have mentioned this numerous times that this café is now called WEND'S RESTAURANT! However, Tripadvisor just don't seem able to change the name!!!!! Doggy friendly too!

We arrived at 07.50 this morning! My wife ordered her usual poached eggs on Granary Bread and I ordered my usual two slices of Cheese on Toast "heavy on the cheese!!!" One cappuccino and a latte and water for Belle, our doggie! This place is so friendly and don't be surprised by the change of name which Tripadvisor don't seem able to pick up on!!! It's NOW CALLED, WENDY'S CAFE!!! If you were to come here daily during the morning at around the same time, I guess that it would be better than watching any of the "soaps!" The customers are so friendly and this place is such fun!! Try it for yoursel!

Hi Guys, I wrote my report on this eatery a few days ago and I also advised you that their had been a name change from The Forest Bakery to Wendy's Cafe/Restaurant! Please would you confirm receipt of my report and of the name change? Many thanks, Terry Rothery

The owner Wendy never fails to serve up a fantastic breakfast whenever my wife and I are visiting her parents, which is usually every two weeks! We usually bring our Daughter's little dogie with us which is fine by Wendy who welcomes well behaved dogs!!! This time I gave into a sausage sandwich on granary bread with brown sauce and my wife had a bacon sandwich; both were cooked to perfection! I also has a cappuccino and my wife had a latte. The lovely local people who use this small bakery/restaurant are simply great and welcome us on each of our visits which is usually around 08.45 on a Saturday morning! Give the place a try, you won't be disappointed!!!

This is a lovely little restaurant/coffee shop that also sells cakes! My wife and I have just had breakfast here. I had "full English" which consisted of 2 poached eggs on fried bread, 4 rashers of bacon, Mushrooms, sausage, tomato and baked beans plus a latte! I can now hardly move!!! My wife had 2 poached eggs on toast and a latte. Excellent food and service and a really friendly atmosphere too! Most of the cooking is done by the owner Wendy who knows most of Her customers by their first names! Reasonably priced too! Doggy friendly and our dog usually tucks into chicken which Wendy provides free!!!

The staff seemed a bit miserable, the food was okay which would make sense as you get what you pay for. All the food tasted oily and the chips were way too salty. Don’t think I will be going back

We visited last week and were lucky enough to sit outside in the sun. We opted for the 3 course lunch set menu, delicious pate to start and fish n chips main, had to squeeze in a pud as well. Service
