Went to the Notter Bridge Inn for the first time last night with friends. We were warmly welcomed by the manager. All our meals were delicious and the fish pie was the best of its type my wife has ever eaten. Lovely surroundings inside the pub. Will definitely visit again. Tony

Had an early dinner here for four. One of our favourite places to eat. Steak and chips and a superb Balti. We like the warm atmophere and the staff. Wonderful evening and the customers were still packing in when we were ready to leave. Thanks for making our evening special.

Visited 7/1/24 for Sunday lunch. Absolutely delicious roast lamb meal! Beautifully cooked. Very good side vegetables, stunning cauliflower cheese and all cooked perfectly - not over-cooked as has been my experience at other pubs on a Sunday. Great selection of deserts - the chocolate fudge cake was fabulous. Compliments to the chef! Really good service, friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere in the pub/restaurant. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Notter to others.

Had a fabulous meal here. Great choice on the menu, 4 of us ordered different meals that were all delicious and of excellent quality. Will definitely go again, highly recommended.

Went here for a family roast to have a catch up and a couple of drinks. Claire was a lovely host and John , her husband in the kitchen was a great cook. Slow cooked beef, lamb and pork was all great. Hot veg, potatoes and a jug each of gravy for us all. Needless to say while not being gannets, all the plates were returned empty and two managed desserts(gannets). Highly recommended, but do book for a Sunday roast

Delicious home cooked roast dinner. Yummy succulent meat and a variety of roasted vegetables . You need to book beforehand. The meal was freshly cooked ,prompt at the table and served with a smile 😀The restaurant is furnished very tastefully and plenty of room . The lady /owner is always friendly and helpful as so is the lady who serves the food . I live close by and have visited on several occasions for food and drink . Always a friendly reception I recommend The Notter Bridge Inn .

My dad and I enjoyed a great meal at the Notter Bridge Inn this evening. My dad had gammon steak, pineapple, egg and chips, which he confirmed was as delicious as it looked and I had fish pie, which was so tasty. Portions were plentiful and the food was piping hot. The staff are very welcoming and also dog friendly. The pub was also spotlessly clean. Highly recommend 😊

An amazing Sunday Lunch. Plentiful array of vegetables all fresh, we both had the roast lamb which was divine which was not scrippedupon. Lots of it. So well worth the money at only £16:95 for two courses. Lovely waiting staff and the setting just perfect. A big thank you to Notterbridge

Amazing home cooked food at reasonable prices. Advise booking a table as it does get booked up. Had such a nice meal we decided to book again. The menu is amazing and specials are available on the day. Can’t wait to return again - hats off to the chef. David & Emily

Took my parents for a Sunday roast for a special occasion. The food was exceptional. The menu looked great during the week also. I'd definitely suggest booking in advance . We all thoroughly enjoyed it.

Very disappointing. Very small portions. Fish & chips were child portion size. Fish had skin left on and the chips were unskinned potatoes which is not particularly a problem but a lot of black in them. Won’t be going back again in a hurry - if at all.

Visited today 25/6/2023 for Sunday lunch with friends. What a fabulous little pub with friendly staff and fab food. Unfortunately didn’t take any photos because the food came out looking so good we just dived in. The meat was cooked to perfection as were the veg and plenty of it, so blooming tasty. Two of us are local and one of us hadn’t been for years and I have never visited before, but we will be visiting again we were so pleased with it. So a big thank you to all the team for making us feel welcome and for the food which was amazing. Pete, June, Jason and Peg. X A proper little gem.

Our new favourite place! I visited about 8/9 years ago for a drink and always remembered it being a lovely setting, I’m so glad I have finally gotten round to visiting for food with the family.. we certainly were not disappointed! From the moment we walked in the lady behind the bar (I think the landlady) was very welcoming and friendly and she continued to be fabulous throughout our visit, laughing and joking with us. The gentleman who brought our mains and lady that brought our desserts were equally as friendly and the food was absolutely delicious! We will definitely be back on a regular basis! We are local and as I said I’ve wanted to visit for a long time, the only thing I will mention is I’m not sure if the phone number online is correct as I’ve tried many times in the past to phone to book a table and can never get through.. however we did drive over with the hope they could fit us in and thankfully they did!

I always complain after eating out for a Sunday roast that it never tastes like my own well this roast lamb certainly did, accompanied by plenty of fresh veggies and roasties and I don't now what the secret ingredient was in the gravy but it was delish, we cleared our plates and washed it down with a very palatable bottle of Chilean Sauvignon blanc. The friendly landlady, Claire. showed us the extensive weekdays menus on the chalk board, amazing choice, not just 'pub grub'! This was out first visit and I can't praise this place highly enough and we will be returning p.s. lovely coffee too!

We had not booked but we were in a difficult situation with broken down car and small children. They eventually did accommodate us with a table, very reluctantly, and the woman behind the bar was more friendly after that, but as welcomes go ... I would not return.

Visited on 17th October 2019 the food was excellent. There were seven of us and we had various dishes including exceptional fish pie and chicken and bacon pie. Would definitely recommend. Staff were very pleasant and unintrusive.

Been visiting the Notter for a number of years with our friends from Bristol. Today 6/10/19 joined them for roast dinner. To me it just seemed like another roast dinner, but it was amazing piping hot food and lots of vegetables and loads left over. Desert well why not, had the salted caramel cheesecake. Flipping heck it's the best desert I've ever had. 2 courses for £12. Fantastic value we will be back soon

The best homemade pie and mash I have had in a LONG time, packed full with tender meat, no fat or gristle for be found, and an extra jug of gravy! The pub has a great atmosphere in the sumer and cosy in the winter. It sits on the edge of the river and behind it is the Notter Mill Country park. We stayed there and then walked the short track to the pub every evening. There are alsways new specials going up on the chalkboards, but once youve had the pie... its hard to make a different choice!

Cane last night for a meal. We had been staying at Notter Bridge Lodges for the week and thought we would treat ourselves on our last night !!!!! Wow wow wow .....what a fabulous place. We were welcomed so well and we had got a table reserved for us which was great as both our sons are in electric wheelchairs. The lady behind the bar .......I didn't get her name .....was sooo helpful. As for the food .....it was unbelievable we didn't expect a pub to be so good the food was hot and delicious and I am a fussy eater but the fish and chips were the best I have had. Everything was perfect and we will defo be back when we come next time. Thanks you so much and your food is 5 star !

As always the staff were friendly and welcoming. The menu had plenty of choice, portions are very generous. Steaks perfectly cooked to your choice. Would highly recommend anyone to dine here

Absolutely awful this place don’t go here! Landlady and the man behind the bar are completely and utterly rude and not welcoming! Me and my friends went to the pub for a couple of drinks and they went mental at us for having a good time and talking! After coming in the next day to order a drink they then said we were banned for being “lary” when we didn’t do anything wrong! The man then continued to shout and call us non repeatable words and constantly saying he doesn’t like us! If you are looking for a pub the Crooked Inn is a far better pub with a ton more of atmosphere!

The worst place I have ever been too. The landlord is a rude person with zero personality. Would not rate this as a good pub or even a pub at all. What a sad sad life they have!!!!

Went for a few beers with friends. Landlady/manager has the worst attitude going. Completely unwelcoming. Sat outside and she made us collect our glasses before leaving... no thankyou. AVOID this place

A cracking little pub/restaurant which was sited very handily for us as we were staying at the nearby Crylla cottages, literally a 2 to 10 minute walk away depending which cottage you are in. With 10 of us on holiday and each doing our own thing we would gather together for a "couple" of beers at the end of the day.

Have just returned from having lunch, from entering the attitude from the owner and bar staff was awful, when we went to a table and were looking at the menu the girl taking the order sat on the table next to us and just stared at us while we chose what we wanted and kept asking what we wanted, no chance to chat or discuss the menu.

Great setting and a tasty roast dinner, the fish and chips were great too. Very handy from Saltash and the Travelodge.

Went again today as the food is lovely. Asked about a table for 2 to be met by a rude landlady. There will be a wait. How long do you think it will be I asked? Well he has this table of 11 then a 4, just took an order for 2 and then we have a 5 coming so don’t know. No eye contact or please or thank you when taking our money or customer that got served before us. If your not a local you don’t count. Never again.

We were staying and Notter Mill and popped to the pub when we actually got some sun that week. Great service, good choice of beers and wine. We ordered some whitebait and the best garlic mushrooms I've ever eaten. All in all and lovely pub in a beautiful location.

reading some reviews, I thought I must have eaten in the wrong place?? Have been here a cpl of times. Coming from Scotland it's kinda hard just to drop in. Anyways pub always looks clean and tidy. Outside beer garden great. Staff, great always up for a laugh and a giggle. Service great. Landlady knows her stuff. As for the food. No matter what I have ordered it has always come fresh, well cooked to how I want it, and the portion sizes are massive. Thanks again to everybody at the pub.. See you soon.... BRUCE AND ANNE
