Nostrano Lounge in Spelthorne

Have been here a few times and each time I've been particularly impressed with how cheerful and friendly the staff are. Rosie in her yellow dress was a special early spring highlight 🌻! The menu offers a different variety to boring high street options and is delicious to boot - and the atmosphere is just delightful! Warm, comfy, could be your lounge but with more buzz, eccentric decor and lattes on tap. Love it. ❤️

I had the most delicious breakfast today. No surprise there because the food is always 10/10. The staff were so warm and welcoming too- shoutout to Rosie :)

We have been to Nostrano Longue several times and the food is always super yummy and the staff are very friendly. It is always a great atmosphere, especially on Saturday nights.

We went for my son's 7th birthday as it's his favourite spot! The kid's meals are excellent value for money and the adult food is fantastic. We rang on our way to make sure there was a table as another restaurant had let us down - they made sure there was a table for the 5 of us ready and set out. The service was quick and the food was delicious. Izzy was fantastic and made a real fuss out of my son for his birthday. Thank you for making it a special evening!

Amazing food for a reasonable price and with regular events like karaoke nights and craft evenings there’s a real community feel. I come here regularly and would 100% reccomend.

This was our first time in this lounge and we were very impressed. The food is fresh and tasty and good value. I can recommend the nasi goreng which was delicious. The staff are well presented and the place is clean. Dogs are welcome which is a plus too. We will return.

One of "THE WORST EXPERIENCES BY FAR" of our lives. Took the kids out for lunch. The lounge had at most 15 customers. The FOOD (chicken meals X2) were served with raw chicken on the inside. Both ordered milkshakes were horrendous to say the least. They were warm to taste even after we asked for them to be replaced. They tasted of nothing, no strawberry or vanilla, which even the manager agreed to. The service was "NON EXISTENT ". Don't think they know anything about running a restaurant. The server couldn't understand a word of English, could not explain what he was serving and again 3 times brought someone else's food to our table. OUR CONCLUSION, NOT GOING ANYWHERE NEAR THIS PLACE AGAIN.

Went in for dinner on 22/07 , I actually asked my husband if they were closing down, no bottled beer, no cartons of drink for kids , several beer pumps off . 3 of the 4 main meals we wanted not available, people complaining and sending food back because it was cold , chef came out of kitchen to complain to staff because they were cooking meals but it was sitting on serving plate for so long it was going cold. Only 3 staff serving including serving at the bar ..cocktails take a while to make so delaying food delivery and other drink orders. Went to eat elsewhere

Ordered 6 tapas to share between the two of us, and we were shocked by how small some of the plates were. The ‘buttermilk fried chicken’ was in fact 3 small pieces of popcorn chicken, hard to believe this cost £4.40. If it hadn’t been for the mountain of bread they served with it, we would have left feeling hungry. The waiting staff were nice enough but we ended up waiting another 20 minutes for them to replace one of the dishes and at that point we had already finished.

The standard has not changed, still as friendly and informal as before. Menu still as broad, with almost endless variety both food and drink wise.And then there was Rosemary. Very friendly and welcoming service. Despite a visit during clearly very busy lunchtime and most tables occupied service was impeccable. Best of all nice and warm inside, with comfortable chairs and a cosy atmosphere. Exactly what the doctor ordered on a cold winter day. Reasonably priced makes it very highly recommended. And for a warm sunny summer day they’ve chairs and tables outside for al fresco food and drinks.

Six of us went for lunch and we were seated quickly despite how busy it was. I had the falafel and avocado ciabatta with fries which was good, the fries being the best bit. Everyone else enjoyed their meals and the service was really good.

Stopped by on the off chance for tapas and coffee, we had halloumi and sweetcorn fritters, Spinich and goat cheese croquettes these were both lovely would definitely order these again .. the only disappointment was the sweet potato taco there was only 1 so we had to cut it in half to share it .. apart from that all lovely .. would like to come back and try a bigger meal and see what the rest of the menu is like.

Me and my boyfriend recently moved to Staines and for our first date night since moving. His meal was nuked in the microwave but tasted ok so ate it and I was given a raw blue steak with no salt or pepper or any form of seasoning that was cold in the middle after asking for medium rare. The second attempt was served 20 minutes after my boyfriend finished his meal, this time was over cooked, again no seasoning and 50% fat… was suppose to be a sirloin with a small line of fat down the side. It was absolutely awful and on third attempt I just said il have chicken wings (which were frozen and also nuked in the microwave) It was genuinely the meal I’ve ever had out and am shocked after the first complaint they served me a steak which was mostly fat. This is the first review I’ve done on trip advisor. Will not be returning, all I got was a refund for the steak and our first night was ruined/waste of time.

We were caught in the rain and stopped in for a quick drink. Greeted on the door by Lee and shown to a table. So impressed with the Covid precautions and procedures. Nostrano makes it look so easy. We had drinks and decided to eat. Had the 3 tapas for 10.15 which were beautifully presented and cooked perfectly. Also got a free glass of wine as it is Tuesday! Bill very reasonable and we met the new Chef Steph. Well done, Steph, you smashed it. We will be back. Lee is a fantastic host with his friendliness and professionalism. Thank goodness this bar is local to us and is not a chain. We love it.

Today I visited Nostrano lounge in Staines, for the first time since covid hit, and we were not disappointed we were greeted at the door by a very friendly member of the staff (Rosemary )who showed us to our table, and explained that we can order through the app or that she could take our order. It’s such a lovely atmosphere with really friendly staff and a great menu. We will definitely be visiting again soon.

We never thought that being back in a bar would be so satisfying! Felt incredibly safe and the COVID measures in place were very noticeably followed. Nostrano gave us the best welcome back into going out in public again! The staff were so attentive and helpful and the food was great, not to mention the cocktails would defo recommend the Prosecco and Passionfruit Martini! Shoutout to Sarah, Ricky and Will for the amazing service!! We don’t live too close to Staines and have some branches closer to us but we’ll definitely be back just to be served by these guys! EVERYONE MAKE THEIR WAY DOWN ASAP!! (We would’ve taken pics of the food for this review but it was so banging that we tucked in straight away!

Ordered Via Click and collect this evening and was NOT disappointed! The website was easy to navigate, food was ready on time despite the fact that it was a large order, and it was all still hot by the time I got home. My family and I had ended up eating at the lounge rather out of nowhere. It was due to unforeseen problems on my foster carers' birthday and we were unable to go where we previously booked, however even though we had arrived during quite a busy time I remember the service being genuinely helpful and kind. There were a rather large amount of customers and this was during the eat out to help out scheme so it was expected for the cafe to be busy during August. But despite this, the server we had, Will, was all-around incredibly helpful and a great person, he kept coming out and giving us updates while we were waiting, and when we got inside he was doing a just as brilliant job. The food was amazing, though by the time we had arrived and due to the large amount of people some menu items were unavailable, despite this the food we did end up deciding on was brilliant and enjoyable. The atmosphere was positive, the music was nice and definitely added to the night. I genuinely enjoyed my time there that night, all-round it was a fantastic place to be. I definitely recommend this place, service, food, atmosphere was all amazing and it was an enjoyable experience as a whole for an otherwise lackluster night.

Took a chance on this place as looked nice and not too busy. Unfortunately both of us had older smart phones so weren’t able to book food through the website and were reliant on traditional table service. Yes we tried but would be nice to be given a choice and not to have to automatically be expected to order through a smartphone.Nice ambience, relaxed and able to chat. Bang Bang chicken was delicious and very happy with that selection.Overall given the current COVID-19 restrictions this was a good choice and had a good meal and catch up.

Amazing time, very safe under restrictions. Our server Will was super accommodating and nice, he made sure we had everything we needed and took his time explaining everything and had a nice chat with us.

Tonight was my mother’s birthday evening and we wanted somewhere really special. We found ourselves at Nostrano lounge, with an amazing welcome at the door from Ricky and a really simple book in service (covid). Will the manager then approached us later after overhearing that it was her birthday and offered us a cocktail on the house! This has absolutely made my mother’s birthday and week! Not only did this happen but our food arrived swiftly. New to the menu the pulled brisket chilli was SUBLIME, and the bang bang chicken... was literally BANG BANG! Vibes on point, food on point, staff fabulous and cocktails to DIE FOR don’t leave before trying one or you’ll be making a mistake. ( you can even bring your four legged friend and even though it’s dog friendly you wouldn’t even notice they were there! They’re all so well behaved)

Ok....just don't tell anyone about Nostrano's.This is a cafe, restaurant, hub for locals young and old, couples and kids. The staff might be rushed but they never let it show. Tapas, burgers, noodles, halloumi, chicken, veggies....everything you want is here. I recommend the tapas or chicken burgers I walk day breakfast. You will define back!!

Haloumi burger was awesome, even the fries were tasty and to top it off I enjoyed the GF brownie with a cappuccino.Will definitely visit again and try the other branches like the Metropolitan in Chalfont.+ they take social distancing seriously (but not OTT). Visited Thursday evening for dinner and drinks to celebrate a friends birthday and Will & Dillon were just superb, assisting with some dietary requirements and making the birthday girl feel special. Whilst all the expected covid and social distancing measures are very clearly in place, Nostrano had such a lovely relaxed and friendly atmosphere (thanks to your staff) it made for a wonderful night out! Visited today, without booking and a lovely gentleman called Will ensured we got our seats as fast as possible. Served our food and drinks with efficiency and was so welcoming and lovely. Such a great evening not only because of his service but also the food quality.

Arrived around 10pm , staff guided us to a table where there were paper menus . You ordered via an Scan code with your table number which was fine and paid via the app . We were all looking forward to a cocktail to finish off our night . The service was slow but there people ordering a the bar so did not see who was making our cocktails . They turned up and we were very disappointed they tasted terribly , I spoke to a member of staff it appears that they did not have all the ingredients to make the cocktails . So they had our table number why did they approach us and explain this but no they made them . I asked for a refund and I thought that he would bring a machine to the table and refund my credit card . No I was wrong I had to queue up in the same queue where people were ordering drinks 20 mins later I asked for my refund to then be told that the machine does not refund via the credit card so the member of staff gave me cash . The whole idea of a cashless system is that you pay on the app and therefore you should offer a card refund . We were so disappointed with the entire visit on Saturday night and this ruined our first outing post Covid would not recommend having cocktails at this venue.
