Lovely hosts. Amazing coffee. Brilliant atmosphere. If passing i recommend stopping for a drink.

Nostalgia has now become an established place on Chanterlands Avenue. Yiannis' characteristically embullient and welcoming Greek hospitality, 'filoxenia' is greets you as soon as you step in. Next stop is the drinks board with some amazing cocktails, and then the specials board with Mata's brilliant cuisine, bringing together select tastes from the Mediterranean and beyond. It continuous to remain reliably eclectic, yet with a fresh and appetising familiarity. Look out for the deliciously scrumptious plat du jour. Breakfast, lunch or dinner, there's always something new to discover. Selection of coffee; sweets, gateaux, cocktails and carefully selected wines.

Having lived 30 seconds away from this Cafe since the day it was taken over and rebranded we finally decided to pop in and try the food. Our daughter had the Double Cheese Burger on the specials board, it should be named something other than Double, it was huge and really tasty. Me and my Partner shared the AnitPasta board and it was fantastic. Plenty to share. The sides and deserts were just as good. Fantastic. Was really happy.

Although the coffee and falafel where lovely, the salad was very poor quality, couple of small tomato halves and lettuce , bit of raw onion. Not very Greek and not worth 11 pounds. Dont do a tapas board. Shame.

This bistro is always full of laughter and happiness. The food is always excellent with very large portions. We've never had anything but excellent food and service.

Only had a delicious coffee here, so I can't comment on the food, but it's a very friendly & relaxed place. I shall return to try the food.

Great food , or just for coffee&cake nothing is to much trouble hosts yannis and martha lovley all homemade cooking at its best . Highly recommend

So pleased this place is open again after a well deserved Summer break. Went today for lunch. Delicious spanakopita, roast vegetables and perfect Frappe. Love this place. My friend came too and loved it so much she's bringing her husband back on Saturday.

The food is simple but delicious and cooked with fresh ingredients. The calamari is to die for! The atmosphere is very relaxing and the service is friendly.

Been for brunch a couple of times but decided to go for the vegan/veggie night. (You can choose from the main menu if not veggie).Amazing food, fantastic staff and a great atmosphere. Looking forward to the next one at the end of April.

I have eaten here 3 times and I have always had a great experience. Welcoming environment, Yannis a great host, Mata a great chef, and a shout out to David with amazing service. Food is fresh (which is rare nowadays), vibrant, feels homemade and it is delicious...seems like you're eating at their home. Great costumer service, great environment and delicious food. It is to me one of the best restaurants in Hull, without a doubt. Can't wait to go back again.

Just a really great place to eat. Coffee is top notch too! The breakfast menu is simple and great value. The main menu is really high quality and in hearty portions. Love it.

Took my wife for Valentines day evening meal, was delicious and a pianist playing nice romantic music, candlelight, she enjoyed every minute of it.

Hidden gem of a place ...just wanted somewhere for coffee and teacake and nearly missed this place .. So glad we didn't ....lovely friendly place happy to serve us coffee and teacake .even served us with water and glasses ..added bonus which didnt go unnoticed ..Will definitely be back because the menu looks delicious ...x

A lovely place for a coffee, lunch, or dinner. The food was very good and the chef and staff couldn't be more welcoming and attentive. I'm giving the food 4 stars as I haven't tried more of the menu, but what I've had was great.

Just got back from a wonderful evening at Nostalgia, Yiannis and his team are a credit to our trade. The food was tasty, plentiful and arrived in good time. We opted for the Antipasti board, calamari and a small Greek salad. Was more than enough for two generous appetites. The service is outstanding, you're very much made to feel like one of the family and Yiannis will have you grinning from ear to ear by the time you leave. Thankyou and we will be back very soon 👍

The food and service are 100%. Great menu,small and very traditional explained very well. If you are looking for a very personal service and great value for money then absolutely head to Nostalgia. You will not be disappointed.

Had a club sandwich this afternoon was huge and very tasty had to ask for half of it to be packedge to take home!

Absolutely delicious ! I have never had a sandwich as good as the BLTs from this place, they are out of this world! Always a warm welcome , staff super friendly. The greek beer is great , defintley try the lemonade aswell . Can't wait to go back.

I couldn’t recommend Nostalgia Bistro anymore! Yiannis is extremely welcoming and gives the best customer service around, little Matilda loves going to see Yiannis and eating as much cake as she can. Marta cooks the most amazing authentic Greek food, the value for money is second to none.
