Norwood Kebab House in Croydon

Not sure what the other reviewers have eaten but had food from this place today and can honestly say it is the best kebab I have ever eaten ( and I have eaten a lot of kebab) Everything was fresh, tasty and my taste buds were dancing. Would def order again.

Visiting my family and decided to get some kebabs for dinner, it is a bit expensive than others but the place looked clean. Ordered two shish kebabs and some chips, the shish meat tasted so weird and mushy you can almost mistaken them for dog food meat, for almost £9 each, one would expect good, if not great quality meat, but not this place, feel like this meat either been sitting there for days or its been frozen and defrosted a few times, I have never tasted meat this bad, and at this price, its no more than a rip off, enough to put me off kebabs forever.

I went by the amount of stars but I was WRONG! Donner Meat was vile neither me or my other half could bare to eat more than a few mouthfuls. Chips were re cooked and chewy. Far too much sauce on each kebab(possibly o disguise th awful taste)

Burgers were ok, all the pizzas were over cooked and way too much oil, it was burnt on the top and just soggy at the bottom most likely because of the oil. Only good thing about this order was that it was delivered before the time stated.

Ordered a large chicken and lamb doner kebab. It was delivered prompltly and arrived hot and fresh. Really suprised how tasty the kebab was that this place has now become my first choice for a nice donner.

Chips slightly over cooked other wise perfect!!!

Asked for sauce in a pot but it was poured all over kebab meat and so food was cold after an hours wait when I live a 3 minute drive away

I ordered 2 large donner kebabs and chips with a bottle of coke and as usual I can't fault the guys who make and deliver my food it was hot and on time even though I asked for a few changes. Keep up the great work and will definitely be ordering again excellent service as per usual.

Good kebab, speedily delivered.

Great quality food with proper portions.

Food turned up stone cold. Had to wipe the grease off the kebab it was that bad. Pizza base was burnt on the edges, soft on the inside. On top of all, 10 minutes late.

Excellent food as always - but again only read half of the directions and ended up getting all the salad when I only asked for lettuce. Second time this has happened. Hopefully won't be a third time! Not a major issue as I just picked most of it out. Great food though guys!

Ordered scampi and chips and it's was not scampi at all it looked like pieces of sponge that tasted of fish chips where Browne tasted like they had been reheated usually the food is nice but defo not today my belly it hurting me from it won't use them again

Worst place ever! Never ordering again. My food didn't arrive, I had to call up 7 times to ask where the food was. Apparently 2 drivers couldn't locate my house, and they didn't bother to call and ask up. My house is very easy to stop as its on a main road! How do they not see it. I cancelled the order after waiting 2 hours for my food to arrive! Terrible unreliable service. Never again am I ordering from this place.

Awful food will not order again

The food is very salty,and the salat wasn't good too much onion on it,I'm very disappointed never order again.

Food was tasty and nice and warm.. Portion was more than enough for 3 adults

Chicken was rubbery and was not like a chicken shish at all it wasn't season as described when ordering, all other requests were ignored, eg: no tomatoes; we received tomatoes. Will not order again.

The delivery was very long. But food was good.

Nice Lamb shish & kofte kebab. However the the adana kebab was below par. Also too much chili...even though I just asked for garlic mayo on everything.

Ordered kebab mix with hummas, meat was well cooked as requested but the chilly sauce was awful, pitta bread was poor quality and dried.

I threw up after eating here. So did my two kids. Food was too greasy and the chips too

Lovely food Quality value for money

The food was ok (except from the garlic mayo which is liquid!) but arrived completely wet even though it wasn't raining outside. The driver was 20 minutes late past the 45-minute delivery time I was given.
