Nice food, very nice place, however I had a big finger nail in my noodles, was over charged had to question it but think both were honest mistakes could of not been though at the same time

I went here for a date night with my partner and it didn't disappoint. The food was so delicious. The drinks were yummy. The service was spot on and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. It felt romantic and gave out holiday vibes being in there. I'd definitely go again. Thank you so much. 😊🙏🏻🫶🏻

Thai green curry was delicious but the chow mein was quite salty

So, it's the day before Valentine's, and we order a takeaway from Anna's Thai via the Uber app for the evening of Valentine's. All looks good and is confirmed via email. On the day of the order delivery, my husband comes into the kitchen and asks through whom we have ordered our food. I answer him and he says, "According to a BBC news headline, Uber and Bolt drivers are on strike related to unfair pay and working conditions from 4 pm onwards. So I call the restaurant and explain the situation to the lady, who very kindly checked and confirmed that the order will still be delivered but by the restaurant directly. I still check the Uber app where a message states that delivery is going to be at our chosen time, but nothing about the strike. Although it took a little longer for the food to arrive, we are very impressed by how the restaurant handled the situation caused by Uber drivers on probably one of their busiest evenings! Visited with some friends for an early evening dinner. Food was lovely, a good choise for my vegetarian friend. Staff extremely pleasant. Can recommend the torfu starter - amazing!

Delivery order for a couple of Chicken Thai green curry’s and a sweet & sour prawns. Food arrived quite quickly (earlier than the predicted time) and very warm, no need to reheat even after a few minutes. Have now eaten in the restaurant and had delivery, the food is always delicious and of a high quality.

Extremely poor service, food no taste and the place is very cold.. and expecting us to pay service charge. Place dead.

Was a bit cold when we went in but soon warmed up. First time I have been there and the Thai green curry with chicken was the best I have ever had. My friends thoroughly enjoyed their meals too. It was all served by friendly staff and I noticed the kitchen workers wore nets to cover their hair. Portions were big and perfect temperature. Their coffee was lovely too. Lovely background music. Would recommend this restaurant. Look forward to going there again.

Went in with my husband and son, tables were free but extremely dirty took a while to get us seated. Asked for a baby seat and they said that they do not provide that during that hour. My son had the coconut rice and chicken lemon grass dishes. I normally do a routine check before he eats and saw a large fly in his food. I immediately complained about it and was not allowed to take a picture of the plate as the manager took it away and blocked my phone camera aggressively. We stood up to leave as we felt unsafe, the restaurant is not family-friendly at all. They ended up charging us for the plate that had the fly in it. Never going back there.

Was here for a business meeting with other estate agents just after a showing. We reserved a table for 5 and they gave us a table for 4. So unorganised and rude in terms of customer service who spoke very little English. The food was too spicy and I found some lint in my curry that was not from onion but clothing, I showed it to the woman working there and she argued with me saying it is an onion piece. I had to throw the plate in the bin for her to bring a replacement, and they made me pay double instead of apologising for the cross-contamination. This business seems to be uneducated on UK consumer laws and food health and safety. Shameless.

I visited twice, both times the lady at the front was constantly rude, she got my order wrong the first time. Second time, she refused to refund a plate that had a contaminant in it. No hygiene, no customer service, no shame. Was forced to pay cash even though they say they accept cards. Never giving these low class venues a chance again, the waiters could not even speak English, highly suspicious place, needs to be investigated.

Minus stars if possible, AVOID AT ALL COSTS, DANGEROUS LEVEL OF FOOD NEGLIGENCE, UNCIVILISED STAFF/IMPERSONATING DIFFERENT MANAGERS UNDER MULTIPLE NAMES, It felt like I was talking to a scam caller from Asia who had nothing better to do with her time, POTENTIAL SCAMMERS & MONEY LAUNDERING RENTAL. I am not the only customer who has experienced something like this, multiple reviews complained about this "restaurant" breaching UK consumer laws. They lie and force you to pay cash against your will and are dishonest about everything, the food is bad and the customer service is even worse, absolutely criminal! I have recorded calls of the staff Cee/Te impersonating different staff (calls from 02086861177 were all recorded), pretending to be different staff managers, extremely uncivilised even before I called in to complain about a black straight hair in the main dish, the lowlife first responded "AND WHAT DO YOU EXPECT ME TO DO ABOUT IT?", like hello, are you untrained or mentally-challenged to not know what common sense is, what type of manager replies this way to a hazardous food complaint?!! She said that it is not possible, I offered to email her the video and images, she declined to see the evidence and continued to say that this was false even after explaining to her that I have curly blonde hair and I literally have video footage of opening the clingfilm and box on my IG story... Ordered food online, the food arrived severely late, found hair in it. I ordered another dish a few minutes after since I could not be full with just the starter than I ordered with the contaminated dish. Anyway, not only this staff members is completely insolent and lacks basic phone manners or knowledge of UK legal standards on how to deal with complaints, she claimed that she does not know what the restaurant email is whilst being a manager. Eventually, after telling her that I will be escalating it legally as her behaviour in each call was suspicious and unprofessional, she then called me late at night pretending to be another manager under a NEW NAME, how ridiculous and cowardly of her! She then either took or pretended to take my sort code and account number, et cetera to process the refund within 2 days. I asked for a receipt confirmation for the refund and she declined and said that they will just call back. I let her know that I cannot answer calls at night, and that she should just email the refund confirmation if she is genuinely collecting my card information for that purpose. She then told me to close my complaint case, I told her no, send me a written email that the case has been resolved by you so that I can add that to the complaint file and have it closed. This restaurant is uber unprofessional and scandalous, an absolute joke to deal with.If you listen to what she said on the phone to me throughout the evidence recordings you would think it is a sketch, utterly immature and ill-mannered. Still waiting for that email...I responded to their automated reply email successfully with a summary of the call with "Te" confirming the refund, and I mentioned the payment details just in case "Te" misquoted my details on purpose to not refund, nothing. I suggest all previous customers who were declined their consumer rights to take legal action because they are impersonating different managers and buying time hoping that customer will forget about the major issues. This restaurant decided to mess with the wrong person, I am in the legal sector, I sue these dodgy pedestrian unprofessionals daily. Most likely might be a lousy money laundering venue judging by the overall evidence.

Only good thing about the place was the fried tempura.

We ordered red Thai curry from Anna’s Thai. And it was one of the best Thai curry we had recently. I would definitely recommend the red curry. Can’t wait to try the other items on their menu.

Went to Anna’s Thai food almost a decade later and even though they have moved to a smaller place, the food and experience was fantastic. We ordered their vegetarian set menu and it was brilliant from start to finish. They even let us adapt the set menu. Thank you for a great experience!

I recently tried the prawn Singapore noodles from here, and it was a major disappointment. The dish lacked any flavour. The noodles were overcooked and mushy, lacking any satisfying texture, very bland. After one spoon, I lost my appetite. I felt like vomiting. I told the waitress I'm not happy with the food and would like the bill. They charged me for the noodles despite it being bland and disgusting. Told the waitress that I wanted to speak to the owner since it was the owners decision to charge me. The owner had a disgusting attitude and was very rude. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. There are better thai restaurants in the South croydon area!

The food was horrible. I ordered the prawn noodle and it was very greasy and had no taste. Apart of that the waitress was really nice and polite.

Received unsolicited message from them. When I phoned to ask how they got my number they said I’d ordered from there before (i’m not fussed on Thai food so definitely not true). Then said I needed to write to them to get them to stop sending me messages. I asked for the manager and they claimed he wasn’t there. Not sure if they’re buying numbers for spam or texting randoms but guaranteed I’ll never go there now.

delivery was fast and food was DELICIOUS!!!! one of the best duck curries i have ever had! spicy, flavoursome, melt in your mouth duck delicious sauce etc. i’ve been looking for a duck curry as good as the one I had at the giggling squid and this has finally knocked it out of the park! the pad thai didn’t change my life but it was still super tasty! and the beef massaman was so yummy, it wasn’t too spicy for a friend that doesn’t like spice - wonderful! and also so affordable - genuinely like £15 cheaper than the same stuff from another place. anna’s thai is my new favourite thai food place.

We’ve always had home delivery and every dish we’ve had has always been amazing. Plus as we don’t eat pork we can enjoy authentic flavours without being compromised.

We have ordered meal deal for 3 people and it was absolutely marvellous! Food was super delicious and there was more food than we expected to receive! Do not hesitate to order, I could not recommend it more!

Spotted some really good reviews on deliveroo for this restaurant so thought I'd give it a go as I don't normally stray from my usual eateries, quickly regretted it when I found a long blonde hair wrapped in my food. Needless to say this is the first and last time for me, shame I was really hoping for a good experience.

Very happy with the food. As it was a delivery, I can't comment on the atmosphere, but it was certainly delivered in good time.

Food was good and the ambience was great. Really liked the taste but chicken had a different taste which to me tasted stale. Apart from food was really good.

Quality of the food was 1st Class. Wev eaten here a number of times. But the food was a little cold. But having said that it was a freezing cold night and we had it delivered and we are a couple of miles away. Will definitely continue to use you. One of the best Thai in this area.

I’m a regular at Annas Thai both at the restaurant and takeaway and they never fail to produce AMAZING food. The Massaman curry is especially good. The fact that the staff are always lovely, the atmosphere is relaxed and warm and the high quality has made it our go to when we have visitors. Would definitely recommend paying them a visit.

Ordered online for 3 dishes that cost £28 with crackers….delivery arrived with no crackers, I called to be asked “could we refund the crackers” NO we want crackers send the driver back….40 mins later crackers arrived but food was now cold and no microwave at home 🙄 Thai green curry was ok, rice was ok, pad Thai was awful 😞 the chicken that they use is not great, very dry and chewy!! What a shame 👋🏻

We had an enjoyable meal at Anna’s. The food was made fresh and was tasty. The service was quick and friendly also. I’m surprised at the average rating on here as that was not our experience at all. We’ll definitely be going back.

Diarrhoea. Two dishes didn't arrive. We were told they were on their way. One was obviously hastily cooked and arrived a few minutes later but then had to be returned because the chicken wasn't cooked. Diarrhoea ensued that night and the following day. The other dish never arrived but it was on the bill until we pointed it out. Otherwise the food tasted OK but was on the expensive side.

It was a good option particularly because other restaurants in the area were closed (3-6pm) Food was decent but not out of the ordinary…soup was good but the portion quite small for price. Really good tempura prawns. Pad Thais decent needed a bit more flavor. Curry nice and spicy! Good overall—-no kids menu.

Very lovely Thai food with plenty of spice and freshness. It was a Tuesday night and we were the only seated customers which meant the atmosphere was a bit flat. Anna is friendly and attentive, though, and made us feel very welcome.

It’s a little restaurant in South Croydon, where lots of fusion and exciting restaurants pop up every once in a while. This restaurant has a nice ambience with Thai decor and music. The food it good (we had Thai Red and Green curries) and some virgin pina colada and mojitos. Our server was attentive and pleasant. Overall I’d recommend.

Had the panang curry and pad Thai. Really lovely and delivered hot. Wasn't sure before ordering but really lovely. Hope there will be high standards each time. Would be nice to have some tofu in the veggie pad thai.

Been here twice so far. Taste is good but had a problem both times. First time, they barely gave any meat with the sweet n sour chicken. A few small chunks, that's it. Second time I went, chicken was good but there was almost no egg in the egg fried rice. Not even half an egg. Just tiny bits of it here and there like someone drizzled it on. Taste was good but the protein quantity considering price...

Good taste, 4.5/5 Small portion size. When you're paying 9 and 10 gbp excluding rice per dish and the tubs are half full with very little meat, that's an issue. 3.75 gbp for steamed rice should have been a good warning.

What a let down ! Two dishes both tasteless. Prawn pad Thai hardly any prawns. Broccoli which was mostly source which it was swimming in. Not much broccoli at all. Not cheap. Waste of money. Wish I'd just made dinner now.

Recently had a delicious meal in Anna’s. The staff were happy and friendly and apologised for the long wait. It was all worth it in the end as the meal was fantastic. Prices were very reasonable too! I will definitely go back.

Ordered this on New Year’s Day. Their food turned me my partner and a mate into the Bellagio fountain. I strongly recommend this restaurant if you want a deep cleanse of your intestines.

Ordered pat Thai and Lamb ribs and starter platter, (chicken satay, prawn toast, fish cake and prawn tempura) which they were all delicious and had a great quality. I highly recommend Anna’s Thai to anyone looking for a good Thai food in the area!
