I recently tried the prawn Singapore noodles from here, and it was a major disappointment. The dish lacked any flavour. The noodles were overcooked and mushy, lacking any satisfying texture, very bland. After one spoon, I lost my appetite. I felt like vomiting. I told the waitress I'm not happy with the food and would like the bill. They charged me for the noodles despite it being bland and disgusting. Told the waitress that I wanted to speak to the owner since it was the owners decision to charge me. The owner had a disgusting attitude and was very rude. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. There are better thai restaurants in the South croydon area!

The food was horrible. I ordered the prawn noodle and it was very greasy and had no taste. Apart of that the waitress was really nice and polite.

Received unsolicited message from them. When I phoned to ask how they got my number they said I’d ordered from there before (i’m not fussed on Thai food so definitely not true). Then said I needed to write to them to get them to stop sending me messages. I asked for the manager and they claimed he wasn’t there. Not sure if they’re buying numbers for spam or texting randoms but guaranteed I’ll never go there now.

We’ve always had home delivery and every dish we’ve had has always been amazing. Plus as we don’t eat pork we can enjoy authentic flavours without being compromised.

delivery was fast and food was DELICIOUS!!!! one of the best duck curries i have ever had! spicy, flavoursome, melt in your mouth duck delicious sauce etc. i’ve been looking for a duck curry as good as the one I had at the giggling squid and this has finally knocked it out of the park! the pad thai didn’t change my life but it was still super tasty! and the beef massaman was so yummy, it wasn’t too spicy for a friend that doesn’t like spice - wonderful! and also so affordable - genuinely like £15 cheaper than the same stuff from another place. anna’s thai is my new favourite thai food place.

Food was good and the ambience was great. Really liked the taste but chicken had a different taste which to me tasted stale. Apart from food was really good.

Quality of the food was 1st Class. Wev eaten here a number of times. But the food was a little cold. But having said that it was a freezing cold night and we had it delivered and we are a couple of miles away. Will definitely continue to use you. One of the best Thai in this area.

I’m a regular at Annas Thai both at the restaurant and takeaway and they never fail to produce AMAZING food. The Massaman curry is especially good. The fact that the staff are always lovely, the atmosphere is relaxed and warm and the high quality has made it our go to when we have visitors. Would definitely recommend paying them a visit.

We had an enjoyable meal at Anna’s. The food was made fresh and was tasty. The service was quick and friendly also. I’m surprised at the average rating on here as that was not our experience at all. We’ll definitely be going back.

Diarrhoea. Two dishes didn't arrive. We were told they were on their way. One was obviously hastily cooked and arrived a few minutes later but then had to be returned because the chicken wasn't cooked. Diarrhoea ensued that night and the following day. The other dish never arrived but it was on the bill until we pointed it out. Otherwise the food tasted OK but was on the expensive side.

It was a good option particularly because other restaurants in the area were closed (3-6pm) Food was decent but not out of the ordinary…soup was good but the portion quite small for price. Really good tempura prawns. Pad Thais decent needed a bit more flavor. Curry nice and spicy! Good overall—-no kids menu.

Very lovely Thai food with plenty of spice and freshness. It was a Tuesday night and we were the only seated customers which meant the atmosphere was a bit flat. Anna is friendly and attentive, though, and made us feel very welcome.

It’s a little restaurant in South Croydon, where lots of fusion and exciting restaurants pop up every once in a while. This restaurant has a nice ambience with Thai decor and music. The food it good (we had Thai Red and Green curries) and some virgin pina colada and mojitos. Our server was attentive and pleasant. Overall I’d recommend.

Had the panang curry and pad Thai. Really lovely and delivered hot. Wasn't sure before ordering but really lovely. Hope there will be high standards each time. Would be nice to have some tofu in the veggie pad thai.

Been here twice so far. Taste is good but had a problem both times. First time, they barely gave any meat with the sweet n sour chicken. A few small chunks, that's it. Second time I went, chicken was good but there was almost no egg in the egg fried rice. Not even half an egg. Just tiny bits of it here and there like someone drizzled it on. Taste was good but the protein quantity considering price...

Good taste, 4.5/5 Small portion size. When you're paying 9 and 10 gbp excluding rice per dish and the tubs are half full with very little meat, that's an issue. 3.75 gbp for steamed rice should have been a good warning.

What a let down ! Two dishes both tasteless. Prawn pad Thai hardly any prawns. Broccoli which was mostly source which it was swimming in. Not much broccoli at all. Not cheap. Waste of money. Wish I'd just made dinner now.

Recently had a delicious meal in Anna’s. The staff were happy and friendly and apologised for the long wait. It was all worth it in the end as the meal was fantastic. Prices were very reasonable too! I will definitely go back.

Ordered this on New Year’s Day. Their food turned me my partner and a mate into the Bellagio fountain. I strongly recommend this restaurant if you want a deep cleanse of your intestines.

Ordered pat Thai and Lamb ribs and starter platter, (chicken satay, prawn toast, fish cake and prawn tempura) which they were all delicious and had a great quality. I highly recommend Anna’s Thai to anyone looking for a good Thai food in the area!

Probably best Thai Food restaurant in Croydon. Been there few times without reservation and always found them accommodating. The food is delicious and quick. They don’t serve alcohol - BYOB policy. Very close to bus station and 10-15kins walk to east Croydon station. Plenty of parking spaces around the restaurant. Defo recommended it!!

it's the third time i come here with my girlfriend, we tried the really delicious pad thai, and then later the special fride rise and the chicken cocunut cashuw fride ride, also these perfect. What about we are Italian and I can say that this restaurant has nothing to criticize, lovely service, nice atmosphere and fantastic food. we recommend it!

Criminally underrated. In summary, service was great, well priced & good value for money, decor and vibe was quaint & quirky, most importantly the food was outstanding. Excellent flavour, well portioned and left you wanting to come back.

Spicy but lacking in meat, sweet chilli sauce was more sour chilli sauce. Lots of veg but hardly any meat. I've eaten lots of Thai but this was very disappointing.

Never order from this restaurant. 90 mins late and refused to cancel despite the food having not left the restaurant.

Their 'som tum' papaya salad is so far away from the real thing. The massaman curry was missing many ingredients and the taste was forgettable. Not impressed.

Not at all worth of money We spent a lot of money but food is not good I expect whatever you prepared with chicken it should be cooked properly and what we had was dry pieces of chicken and no salt no taste. Absolute disappointment!

Don’t order from here!! Missed 2 items from our order, we called them straight away to have someone be so rude on the phone and pretty much say that we was lying! Baring in mind we have already paid for the food online! They refused to send the missing food out! I will NEVER order from here again! Rude and take your money and don’t send out the right food!!

Other than the soup and prawn crackers, everything else was awful and of the same colour. Dim sums were microwaved/reheated. Couldn’t figure if the chow mien was burnt or that was the flavour!? On top, the waitress always and only acknowledged the one male person in our group, ignoring the rest of us, which made the experience even more unpalatable. A joke in todays progressive world! Horrible and avoidable experience overall.

The server was very lovely! We ordered lamb as my starter along with prawn toast. Both were delicious! I had duck and rice for my main. The rice was a little bland but the duck was fantastic. I recon they season the food with the idea that you will eat it all together and not separate. Hence the reason the rices are less tasty.

Tasteless food. Very disappointing

Awful. Went for mothers day and was looking forward to an authentic thai meal. First we saw someone wait forever for their food. They had to take it away. Then we saw someone's food go back because there was hair in. Then they did not have what we wanted. Then I got my food which was clearly pre-made and tipped out onto the plate. It was cold and bland. The same with the childrens food. I wanted a diet 7up. They told me they had no diet drinks apart from diet coke. Half way through the meal someone else got a diet Sprite! We complained and were promised money off the bill. We got the bill and no money was taken off! We paid regardless because we will never be going back to this place. As we were leaving another table had ordered plain noodles and they sent it back because they had chicken in it! Most probably because it was pre-made. To me it seemed the kitchen was busy with take away orders and they just did not care about the customers in the restaurant. Oh forgot to add that they lost the order for our mains...but this was not a big issue.

Food was average. Took an hour and when arrived it wasn’t as hot as ideal.

Everything arrived promptly and hot except for the pancakes. Chicken wings portions were too small and we only got the drumette and not the adjoined flat wingette and the aromatic duck wasn't crispy enough. But Salt and Pepper lamb was delicious as was Salt and Pepper Chips.

Absolutely the worst takeaway I’ve ever had. Duck was all skin. Green Thai curry bland. I’m nearly 60 love my food absolutely 👎👎👎

Food felt too oily and was not that enjoyable. Atmosphere and decor was really nice though.

I ordered a takeaway. Two items. The items were not delivered after 2 hours 30 mins. My money was taken. I called Deliveroo to try to get a refund. Deliveroo said speak to the restaurant. Rather than give negative feedback online, I spent £10 on Uber to go to the restaurant to give the manager of the restaurant constructive feedback. The manager was rude, blamed Deliveroo, and did not apologise once. Anna’s Thai restaurant is therefore the worst restaurant I have had the misfortune of ordering from in my life. I would not eat their food if they paid me. It is a total disgrace. They should not be in operation. They wasted my time, took my money, did not deliver the food I ordered and I am writing negative feedback about a restaurant for the first time in my life.

Tasteless and ingredient missing I have requested a take away, Tasteless Spicy Thai Noodles (Pad Kee Mao) Prawns and missing basil leaves, the menu said it was coming with basil but nothing. Avoid it.

I've eaten a lot of Thai food in my life but i'd have to say that the food here is terrible. You'd only enjoy it if you had no taste buds! I ordered the cashew,chicken rice dish. The chicken was heavily seasoned with turmeric, therefore was bitter. When I told the guy with glasses who seated us, he said that's how its made! rather then take on board any feedback. He's obviously not in the restaurant industry with a passion! but purely for money. When one spends over £60 one would expect a tasty meal, this was bland. Will never eat here again and felt robbed that we even had to pay this price! Also there was no-one in the restaurant, will take that as a hint next time!

we decided to try it and unfortunately we are VER DISSAPONTED... The food was very average and expensive for starter 2 dishes and glass of suppose to be Malbec ..we wondered if this bottle of wine has been left open for a while it was very flat taste we paid £45.00 and services charges added without your permission be aware. We have been to many oriental restaurants and in most jasmine/green tea is for free in this £3.00 for a cup of tea. I asked for a glass of coke with lime I thought it is going be a freshly cut slice NOPE it has a fizzy lime from a can..but freshly opened with a finger it cost us another £.5.00. Well I ever go there again. NEVER ......Will I recommend....NOPE

Unbelievable chicken cashew nut

Always order from here, normally order Thai curry with coconut and garlic rice, springs rolls, dumplings etc. Ordered days ago, 2 garlic rice, 2 coconut rice, 4 thia curry, 1 special fried rice, prawn sesame toast, spring rolls, chicken dumplings. The sesame toast was the only thing that tasted okay, curry was mediocre, spring rolls were underdone and soggy, special fried rice tasted like left overs, chicken dumplings were tasteless.
