Norwood Fish Bar in Cheltenham

Honestly the best gluten free fish and chips I have ever had. So incredibly tasty and crispy. Only let down was the chaotic service, can visible see how stressed staff were. Better order management system needed, felt like the owner (or person in charge) didn't trust staff and was trying to do everything.

Some of the best fish and chips I’ve had, finished football and passed it and decided to stop. High value for money - cheap and very tasty. Highly recommend for quick stop or a night takeaway.

I used to go to to another fish shop on the Bath Road but no longer - this is now my go to place - the fish and chips are delicious

Been eating Cod and chips from here for nearly 40 years still as good as ever and happily travel across town to eat here.

Best in Cheltenham. We always have perfect fish and chips here and mushy peas😀 We don’t like to go anywhere else as it’s never a disappointment.

A few nights ago I was in Cheltenham, hungry but short of time. And I happen upon an original fast food outlet - yes, a chippy! All looked good, - clean premises and some nice looking food on display? Meal ordered. Salt and vinegar, all wrapped up and paid for, so back to the car for a feast. Sadly the meal was not as good as expected. The chips were good, not the best but OK. However the pasty was a disaster as it had been heated in a microwave. Hot and soggy and not what was expected from my initial observation. Hopefully my experience was an exception.
