Been meaning to call here for a long time while at the Northern General Hospital but managed it. It's very good, friendly staff and warm welcome. The menu is cafe style sandwiches, panini, etc. The food and drinks were very good hot and tasty. Really enjoyed it.

Called in here today while waiting for my husband attending an hospital appointment. This is a lovely coffee shop I had tea and a scone it was lovely , the scone was fresh and full of fruit and a really nice cup of tea. There were two ladys running the shop both really nice . Although only a small cafe it is clean snd tidy well worth a visit if attending the hospital. Would highly recommend.

So had flat white and buttered fruit scone to takeaway, both really delicious. Few tables inside and out but chose to sit on a bench in hospital grounds😋

Independent coffee shop at Herries Road entrance of Northern General Hospital. No other cafe around at this end of the hospital site. Whilst there are several if you visit via Barnsley Road entrance. My friend has been telling me for months this cafe offers the best coffee in Sheffield. As I had an appointment today I decided to see for myself. The coffee was excellent , but the place is so small it lacks atmosphere. After paying for my coffee I had to wait almost 15 minutes as the lady serving was preparing food for the only other customer in the cafe. I realise she may have been working all day and it was 2pm but she came across as unfriendly and fed up As the only cafe for a mile it needs enlarging, the hospital who I presume owns/leases the property , dont think of relatives attending that part of the vast complex. Instead the hospital just makes more parking spaces

I found this place whilst waiting at Northern general hospital. It’s compact and bijou but spotless and very friendly staff. Lovely coffee and very tasty looking homemade cakes. It certainly makes a change from the usual hospital cafes

Had an appointment to attend to. This is the first cafe we seen and came here. Lovely food one of the best Bacon butties I’ve had. Staff were lovely. Seems like a small family run business.

The fact that this is the only cafe at this end of the Hospital site so you don't really have many options. On the plus side - Good coffee, toilet and indoor seating. On the down side cafe is small, no free parking, no wi-fi and limited food selection. Staff can be a little standoffish but not rude,

We called in to buy chocolates and have a drink - sadly we found the hot chocolate inedible it was thick and gloopy. The chocolates were delicious however.

Gran café, dos empleados fantásticos que son muy amables y nos cuidan. Asistimos a una reunión de negocios todas las semanas. Se ha convertido en nuestro lugar de elección. Esta área ha necesitado un buen café durante años y este es excelente.

We had just arrived in Sheffield and needed a coffee. We were pleased we found this popular café which is located within Sheffield Cathedral. It is necessary to order with your table number at the counter and pay at the till. The coffee is delivered to the table. We enjoyed two good quality flat whites which cost £6.80. Thankfully there is also a toilet located in the café which was very appreciated after a long drive 😊.

I go to Fika every Saturday lunchtime. There is a reason for that. No matter what food I order it is always fantastic. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. It’s a wonderful little place, with a great atmosphere. Well done to all involved. See you next Saturday!!

Le Blé is an incredibly stylish looking patisserie in the heart of Sheffield. The stunning cake displays are a feast for the eyes of any passer by. So I was very hopeful that we were about to have a delicious breakfast. Sadly the savoury offerings do not even begin to live up to the entrancing visuals. The menu was challenging and cryptic, excessively so for what amounted to a range of sandwiches is a choice of breads and fillings. In any case, it did not prepare me for the crushing disappointment of what was served. My meal consisted of a borderline-stale roll filled with a thin layer of bizarrely sweet egg mayo, sitting upon a single square of the cheapest quality re-formed ham. In spite of being actually quite hungry I managed less than half of it before leaving in disgust. The decor and the coffee (which was acceptable) are the only things saving this eaterie from a one star review. I can't in all conscience recommend you consider eating here though.
