Super food in a modest place. We go at least once a month , for years. Always good. We have been all through SE Asia , going to KL , just for satay. Noodle house food is so good Ignore those precious souls , complaining ," cash only "! Don't come! It's popular enough ,xxx

Love this place! The food is top notch and reminds me of home in South East Asia. I don’t understand the negative reviews AT ALL. My family have been coming here for years and have never had a bad meal.

I have used this restaurant a few times and on each occasion the food has been terrible, the quality of ingredients is appalling, it's bland and has no flavour. In addition, the food is expensive and they only accept cash! No credit or debit card is accepted in the year 2023 (I wonder why?) P.S. this restaurant is the nearest to where I live, hence the reason that I have used them a few times, I have now learnt my lesson. AVOID!

Average food. Accepts only cash. One of my favourite food is Nasi Goreng. My experience of this at Noodle house was it was just average . There was no egg nor any anchovies as I believe these are key to a good Nasi goreng. Another bummer is that they do not accept any cards only CASH.

Be warned, it's CASH ONLY... make of that what you will. The Malaysian food is good but it's a very basic takeaway that charges restaurant prices - £10 for beef rendang, £9 salt pepper squid.

The outdated deco can't cover its great food. A friend took me there before, love the food there, full of flavours and unforgettable. Went back with other friends, they all like it. The only problem is, if you are not familiar with Chinese or Malaysia food, you won't know what to order as there are too many of choices on the menu! It's good value too for the food quality. It is not one of those cheap Chinese takeaway places!Pity you can only order takeaway nowadays. Meals taste best when they are fresh and just come out of the kitchen. Hope we can eat in again soon.

Have been getting take away from Noodle House for some time and always felt price was reasonable for the food. However, astounded as had our normal take away last night and the total price has increased by 33%. I did try ringing to query the price and they said all prices have been increased.. Whilst I appreciate this is normal practice --- to increase,by a third is unacceptable. I then asked why the web page price has not been changed and they said not had chance to do it yet. The food was below par and I think probably changed hands. A shame as local to us, but will be going elsewhere in future..

We went to the restaurant in a quiet time luckily. We ordered 1 starter to share, 2 main dishes and drinks. The food and services are so good! I especially loved Kung Po Squid which is totally different look from the one I usually order from a different Chinese take away....I am just wondering if they could extend the restaurant or relocate to a bigger place nearby......I wish them all the best!

First of all, I've included photos of the menu (takeaway but there are a few tables to eat in as we did) because I found it quite difficult to track down the menu online. When I spoke to the owner after our meal she said "Sorry, we not good with computers" and I replied that based on the delicious food we'd just eaten they were "very good in the kitchen".Anyway, to the food. To start we had Popia which is a type of large (2) spring roll, quite sweet but light and oh so tasty, they were nicely sliced to share between the three of us and I could have eaten them all myself. We also had Gado Gado that was a wonderful salad that reminded me slightly of a Vietnamese salad minus the fruit element. Our son ordered fried ginger chicken wings which were chicken wings with a hint of ginger, he seemed happy but I was there for different tastes. On the mains he ordered Singapore Rice Vermicelli and roast char sui pork, both were typical Chinese dishes but he's not keen on trying new dishes. My wife and I (travelling to Malaysia later this year were a bit more adventurous ordering Nasi Lemak (a lovely mix plate with a little chicken curry, pickled veg, chilli prawns, anchovies, egg and coconut rice) and a beef rendang that was chunky and generous both in flavour and quantity. A Chinese tea, lychee ice water and a can of Tango were our drinks (no alcohol licence). All told, 3 adults (our son is mid 20's) left feeling very full (we over ordered), and whilst we may have been £55 poorer (including non-obligatory tip) we were richer for the experience and will definitely be back.

We have been living less than half a mile from The Noodle House for nearly three years and last week was the first time we have eaten food from here. It was really delicious. I love this place. It's a sweet little cafe that has an enormous choice of food. I love their Nasi Lemak and Singapore Laksa. I can never understand how they can produce such a wide variety of dishes. They have 2 menus - a Chinese take away menu with your usual fair of what you would expect. Then there's their Malaysian menu which is the one I always go for. It's a regular haunt for me and my friends - casual and delicious food. We always try and call 48 hours in advance to order at least one of their crab dishes.

Being a Malaysian, this place leaves me spoilt for choice. I’ve been here twice now and they serve everything a Malaysian would crave for. I’ve tried the fried Hokkien noodle. It was very authentic, just short of the pork lard that they add in Malaysia. The chicken satay wasn’t very authentic (lacked the bbqesque taste) although the peanut sauce was very tasty. Other than that the fried rice, the Hainanese chicken rice, the clay pot chicken and the beef rendang was truly mouth wateringly delicious! They also serve rojak buah, popiah, asam laksa and my favourite konlo noodles - dishes I generally found hard to find in London. Oh and their sambal belacan is to die for! I think if I can pick any fault is they don’t deliver beyond 2miles and we just live outside 2miles. Oh well, I’m still smiling

Gave this place a try when were were visiting the area after reading the reviews and were glad that we did. There are two menus, one Malay and the other Chinese. We ate in and had the set meal for two. Good size portions and very tasty. Two things to point out. The sit-in capacity is limited, its really a take-away with some basic tables, so a large party may have a problem a busy times. You should be aware that they do not take card payments but there is a cash point nearby. These are not intended to be criticisms only comments for information. Overall very pleased with the quality value of the meal and will give so keep up the good work.

Came here with a group of colleagues for lunch. The place is a simple restaurant and takeaway with room for about 20 people at full capacity. The menu is a mixture of Malaysian and Chinese style dishes. A colleague ordered the Gado Gado for a starter for all of us to share which is a mix of vegetables, beancurd and prawn crackers in a thick saté sauce. I had the Nasi Lemak for main which is a chicken curry on rice with sambal chilli, achar, egg and ikan balls among others. Taste-wise the food was excellent with fresh ingredients used throughout. Portion sizes are very generous (some colleagues had takeaway boxes) and prices very reasonable indeed. Very recommendable.

The Chinese is good and the Malaysian fantastic - try the Rendang and the salt and pepper squid. Both are truly first class. It's a tiny place - 5 or so metal tables and very basic décor. More takeaway or street food type of restaurant. Chinese prices are good. The only gripe - the Malaysia menu is overpriced - now £8.50 for takeaway beef Rendang. And it keeps going up each year. The place is small, only 8-9 tables, but they still have high chair available plus giving my toddler child cutlery. As a Malaysian studying in the UK, I was so happy to find this restaurant. The food here is really delicious and authentic, somehow better than some of restaurants back in Malaysia. This restaurant is a family business of Malaysians. That's why they are very professional to bring you the Malaysian cuisine enjoyment to your taste bud. Do not let the cheaper price in the menu stop you from visiting this restaurant. The comfortable and clean environment is really a great enhancer to enjoy the most sensational cuisine. They do provide phone order delivery and take away as well. To those who are not familiar with Malaysian food I strongly recommend these:Appetizer: Rojak-a type of fruit salad with secret recipe sauces (spicy/non-spicy) Indian Rojak-a type of indian salad with peanut and spices sauce (spicy)Main course: (each main course is quite big portion, order according to your no. of visitors)Curry noodles (spicy)Prawn noodles (spicy)Nasi lemak (coconut fragrant rice with side dishes)Fried kueyteow (a type of flat noodles fried with black sauces)Dessert:Ice kacang (ice blended with toppings hiding beneath the "ice mountain"

One of my Malaysian friends recommended Noodle House to me and I am so glad I only live 20mins away (by car). We are just outside of their delivery zone so my hubby often picks up takeaway about once a week. My favourites are: Thai style chicken wings, wa tan ho (seafood and pork with fat rice noodles in a yummy gravy), Penang laksa (spicy!), soft shell crab, belachan kang kong and okra, rojak, chicken rice and nasi lemak. When I am poorly, I love their fish ball noddle soup, so comforting and just like at home! My hubby loves the fried kway teow, beef rending and their roti prata with curry sauce. Oh and if you like durian, the ice cream is TO DIE FOR!!! I would highly recommend this place for anyone who likes Asian food. And there actually IS a toilet here, but it's not the greatest. Firstly, I've tried a number of malaysian restaurants in central london (e.g. Rasa Sayang, Cous Cous Darna and C&R) but I have to say that Noodle House is definitely the best one. Their Mee Rebus, Hokkien mee, Singapore Laksa and Rojak are some of the dishes that you must try! Especially their Mee Rebus (or Mee Jawa as it is often called in Malaysia), cannot be compared with any Mee jawa I've had in Malaysia. They also offer Ice kacang for dessert! The downside to Noodle House is that its located just outside of central london (I normally take the tube to Morden station then there are numeral buses that one can take from Morden station straight to the front door of Noodle House, the bus journey is only about 10-15 mins). To me personally, its worth the one hour journey to have a taste of home as I'm a malaysian who have been in UK for 5 years and love malaysian food! I advice everyone not to be put off by the location of Noodle House because the return in the food they will be served will certainly make up for it. There are malaysian restaurants closer to where I live but Noodle House is where I will be going for my malaysian food from now on! Their staff are all malaysians, very kind and friendly people and the portion size served is very generous for the price they charge!

Many years ago my employment took me to Sri Lanka (then Ceylon) and I was fortunate at that time to see much of the Island. Now living in leafy Shropshire there are limited opportunities to sample such a colourful cuisine as that served by Colombo Kitchen. A birthday celebratory dinner for my daughter provided just the right occasion. Accompanied by my wife we all arrived early in the evening and observed that the restaurant was already busy. Once comfortably settled at our reserved table we ordered aperitifs of Colombo Sunrise cocktails and Lion lager, before the serious matter of reading through the extensive menu. The first food to appear was a Sharing Platter (vadai, cutlets, rolls and patties), which was followed by mains of Mutton Curry, Devilled King Prawns and Chicken Kottu. Steamed spiced Basmati and saffron rice complemented the dishes. Desserts were Kiri Kithul (yoghourt) and fried honey pineapple. Everybody thoroughly enjoyed their chosen dishes and I was able to indulge and appreciate a return to the tastes of the "Island of Serendipity". The Colombo Kitchen menu offers interesting and wide ranging choices that cater for all palates amidst clean and atmospheric surroundings and first class service. Hopefully, it will not be too long before I am able to make a return visit. Recommended.
