Have been there twice now. Food very good and service excellent and prompt 😊.

Takeaway for 4, 3 of us disappointed. Think quality is going down. Also found at it is a 3 star food rating so will avoid until this is improved.

Always great service and the food is always made to my needs as I'm wheat free so never have alit do the meals are always made small for me so I don't suffer after The staff are very friendly and helpful. Food tates great Atmosphere is always friendly and welcoming. I won't go anywhere else.

Mango Lounge was recommended to us and did not disappoint. We had the most amazing meal. The service was lovely and we definitely say it’s value for money. we have since had three deliveries from Mango Lounge and it is all been exceptional.

I cannot recommend Saif and all the team at Mango Lounge highly enough. They organised a meal for 20 people at our house as a delivery. The food was amazing and catered expertly for meat eaters and vegetarians. Special emphasis on 2 of the party with allergies. We have eaten many times at the restaurant and never been disappointed. Only downside is not being able to give more than 5 stars

NB: we ordered a home delivery 06/01/2024 Have driven past so many times and seen the place heaving so we thought we’d try it out. What an utter disappointment. Poppadoms with sundries and Naan breads were okay (hence one of the points in our rating), but the Chicken Tikka Marsala and Butter Chicken sauces had both split, the latter swimming in oil, yet once poured over the rice any moisture in the dish also evaporated. Neither sauce was creamy as you’d expect. Bhaji’s were overcooked and lacked any moisture inside at all, I suspect they were re-fried. The second point would have been for on time delivery, if it hadn’t been cold. In summary overpriced and I would say I wish we hadn’t bought the hype.

Me and a friend came here to eat on NYE '23. Very friendly, patient and welcoming staff. Relaxing music. The food was amazing with great portion sizes. Definitely coming back!

Great food and service we visited while a special offer was on and it was great value, lots of choice on the menu.

8 of us went on a Monday evening as there is currently an offer of 5 courses for about £15. Service was helpful and courteous. The restaurant is is clean and pleasant and a lot bigger than it looks from the outside. Parking bays available on the road outside. Food was amazing and so plentiful that some of us took a doggie bag home.

Good summer deal (less than £30 for two for all these). We enjoyed the food!

Did the buffet for £14.95 , you got 1 popudum , starter , main and side. All was really nice but the chicken tikka masala didn’t have much flavour. Very nice restaurant and friendly staff.

Food was average and a little too oily for me. There was cold Cobra for sale in the restuarant, maybe their only saving grace.

Nice end of term dinner out. We went spur of the moment so were just walk ins but service was still very efficient and the staff were attentive. The sides we ordered were lovely - bhaji, plain naan, pilau rice and poppadoms - but unfortunately neither of the curries were for us. We ordered a chicken dhansak and chicken tikka masala and both were a bit lacklustre, especially the tikka masala which was quite watery. A real shame as we enjoyed the other parts. Overall, a nice enough curry house.

I ordered as home delivery. The lady was 25 minutes late with my order. Was on the phone to the restaurant while waiting for delivery. I finally received my order and they said nothing and put the phone down on me. There were black bits in the chicken. The chicken was really dry. The korma sauce tasted like water and so did the rice. It was that dry I couldn't swallow it properly

we had a terrible experience at this Indian restaurant. The food was of poor quality and lacked flavor. We ordered Lamb and chicken curry, which was dry and overcooked. The naan bread was hard. To make matters worse, the service was awful. Our waiter seemed annoyed since he mentioned the kitchen was about to close. The atmosphere was also lacking, with dim lighting and uncomfortable seating. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Thought we'd try somewhere new, ordered a takeaway. Tasteless no seasoning. Could have sworn the veg curry was heinz veg soup. Very disappointed. I have to put one star in order to post the review.

I've eaten here a number of times, but this was the first time that I have been back post Lockdown. No complaints about the food or service. Portion sizes were good, and two of our group asked for takeaway containers as they couldn't finish all of their meal. The reason that I dropped the score down to four from five was because the gents toilets were not very clean, the hand drier wasn't working and there were no paper towels to dry your hands on.

Fantastic food, very tasty. Highly recommended. You'll probably need to book though as it was pretty busy.

A warm and friendly welcome. Very attentive staff although a little disorganized at times. The food was really good, well presented and service was timely. The restaurant was comfortable and relaxing. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening and will definitely return.

This is an Indian restaurant that serves excellent food that would cater for all tastes! What is just as important is the service is excellent with very friendly courteous staff. I would thoroughly recommend this establishment to anyone. Enjoy!

Had visited first time based the review but had a very bad experience koftha is not cooked reported but they are saying it’s nice not ready to taste or recook I don’t think paratha is made there (frozen ) overall not great experience I never go again

Had a delivery last Saturday, chicken tikka Masala, I was the only one to eat the dish and about a hour later my belly started bubbling . The next morning I was in a bad way up to 1pm , I phoned the restaurant to let them no the chicken was bad and I wanted a refund , they said as no one else made a complaint they didn’t see their was a problem, I’m still waiting for a call back up to now !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We ordered at 8pm it said it would be 45 minutes, after an hour when it didn't come we called and they said 'it's on its way' it will be 10 minutes. Another half hour passed we called again, they said it would be 10 minutes, still didn't come. Over two hours later when it actually did turn up the order was wrong, didn't get the free bottle of wine which was their promotion when you spend over a certain amount, they missed a dish and sent two of the same dish, everything tasted the same and my curry that was meant to mild - medium was so spicy I couldn't eat it and just had huge chunks of chillis in it. I gave the restaurant quite a few chances to put this right, I own restaurants myself and can't quite get my head around why they think it's okay to argue with me on the phone and offer nothing as a way of an apology. It's just common sense and the basic etiquette to make sure the customer is happy and received good food and service, something the Manager of this place clearly doesn't understand.

We have been trying the local curry houses across Carshalton/Wallington and Mango Lounge was quite comfortably the poorest we have tried so far. Food was quite bland tasting and the chicken in both main courses way over cooked. Naan bread really thick and doughy Definitely would not return

The food was delicious, but the customer service was very poor. We arrived and whilst still standing a waiter wanted to take the drink order. Another waiter seemed lost, not sure if he couldn't speak English or what. We asked for hot water (my friend drinks hot water without anything else in it) and he refused - I found it ridicolous. We waited to order for 20 minutes and over 1 hour for our food to arrive. In 1 hour we had no poppadoms and no one even came to ask us if we wanted more. It's such a shame as this place has potential. The food was really good, but please do something for your staff. They looked bored, lost and inexperienced.

Ordered takeaway at 17.30 through Just eat for ASAP delivery. Restaurant/Just eat promised 19,00 delivery which was disappointing. Rang restaurant just after 19.00 to get update and was told last items of order were just being done in the kitchen. But order did not arrive until 20.25. Was the person I spoke to telling me the truth - I wonder? When it arrived one dish (rice) was missing. Chicken Tikka Masala and Lamb Tikka Masala were very poor, a few small bits of meat swimming in a carton of runny sauce. Overall a terrible experience and I have asked for my money back.

My partner and I went here for date night during the help out to eat out month and to be honest I wish we didn't. I booked by phone which was diverted to a mobile and had to ask if I got through to the right number, sounded like they were driving so doubt they actually wrote down my reservation because when we got there we were asked to wait on the seats outside for 10 mins. (lucky it wasn't raining!) There was no energy, no smiles, no warm greeting as soon as we went in the door. We were eventually seated at the back, again zero smiles or enthusiasm. It seemed semi-full but there were at least 4 visible members of staff. We were completely ignored for 15minutes - and when I say ignored, averted eyes and as if we were totally invisible considering my seat was facing the kitchen they were in and out of! Had to ask to order, they bought poppadoms on our request and from there it just gets worse and I'm annoyed we didn't just get up and leave. The starter took over 45 minutes to come, chased on its whereabouts and they were so nonchalant and told us 'oh i'll check... Soon'. We got the butterfly prawn which was so dry it reminded me of a chicken oven dinosaur from my childhood! We then sat with empty dirty plates for another 30 minutes and had to ask them to remove them. Another 30 minutes later the main arrive, we ordered a king prawn curry of some sort and when I say they were not prawns, THEY WERE NOT PRAWNS! We straught away asked what they were (we don't eat meat) and they assured 'that's just how they come' but they did not even resemble a prawn and barely had a structure! Needless to say this was the first time in history we did not take something home in a doggie bag. For the price it all came to I feel disgusted (despite the £20 gov contribution) that they have a business at all. The main issue I have was the terrible service, completely oblivious that good service should be delivered within a certain time and actually be attentive to the customers that put money in their tills.

Absolutely fantastic meal. Staff were amazing and really took time to explain items on the menu to us. They recommended dishes which were delicious! Food was wonderful, they kept on top of our drinks and the restaurant had a safe and pleasant atmosphere (everything was clearly socially distant). Would highly recommend.

Booked a table in advance for 5 people for 6.30..... and then we wasn’t seated until 7.15.There are zero social distancing measures in place what so ever, I mean the place was rammed. We was then sat at a table which was big enough and due to a step on the floor one member couldn’t fit their chair in, so we had to be waited to move again...... again they sat us at a 4 people table which wouldn’t fit all chairs around due to a wall fixture, resulting in one member having to sit on a bar stall which was way to big for the table.After sitting down already 45-50 mins late now, we was offered no apology and took a further 20 minutes to ask if we wanted drinks. Absolutely ridiculous waste of my evening and then when the food did come it was tiny portions which were wrong and watered down curries. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!

I worked in the retail industry for many years and understand the difficulty that changes in trading patterns can bring to your business.The government scheme to entice people back to our restaurants is very welcoming and I am sure that many of us have taken advantage of it.It brings with it ,however, many difficulties in re arranging staff to work different hours of the week in an industry that struggles with labour especially in the kitchen.Our Curry last night was superb...yes we had to wait a bit,but the restaurant was very busy when normally on a Tuesday it would be quiet....the food was excellent and well worth the short wait and seems to get better on every visit...all of the staff were working flat out to do everything in there power to get food out asap.We look forward to our next visit.

This is the best Indian I had ever! The dishes are full of authentic flavours not to salty and without too much sugar as most takeaway tend to do I haven't noticed and poisonous food colouring. So got to say that this is really close to homemade cooking! Well done everything was delicious 😋 I would definitely order again as I'm only across the road

I had been once in past with my mates and all was good, but not the same recently. The service, the food quality all has gone down. Not too sure if the management has changed or its too much in demand and they can not handle it. Anyways I won’t be visiting there again.

We had booked in advance, waited outside for almost 20 minutes to be let in. Had to call out atleast 3 times after 20 minutes sitting there no menu card no one coming to take the order. Finally managed to get some poppadums and drinks, again long wait to place the order. After sitting there for more than hour the owner comes begging us to move out from our place as he needs to make place and join 2 tables for 8 tables. Honestly the owner has no dignity and I mentioned in face to him that he is biting more than he can chew. With long wait and no food and plus the insult for their mis mangagement we moved out without food and all the owner kept on saying I am learning too and I need to know...but never rectified his mistake.

PLEASE AVOID...RUDE STAFF, THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING....Waited for for over 1.5 hours for starters to be served...some of them don't even understand English. As well gave us wrong food. JUST AVOID

The guys in the Mango lounge are 1st class and the food is a cut above your normal Indian restaurant

3 people £100 no desserts and only 4 beers and 3 lemonades.. But worth every penny..Mixed grill to share for starters superb.. Korma madras and zafrani. For main.. Madras bit of a kick and zafrani creamy and spicy medium hot very nice, and korma spot on..Garlic corrianda nan well done.. Top notch sag aloo generous portion and nice 2 pilau enough for three and onion bhaji huge and crispy.. Service great.. Waiter managed to drop a pint over my friend by accident and still giving 5 stars.. Any curry lovers should not be dissapointed..Not cheap but very nice.. Only advice would be when we finished the lime pickle and yogurty sauce with our poppadoms when we ordered a few extras complementary refill would have been a nice touch but you know for next time.. Will be back again!!

We attended as two couples and found the staff really friendly and polite, they adhered to the rules of social distances really well and without fuss. The food was amazing so tasty and well presented, it was delivered hot and quickly and we were well looked after with drinks offered at regular intervals. The cost was very reasonable for this quality and quantity of food and we were not rushed at any stage of the meal.

Tried it out on Sat as looking for a decent curry house. Have to say very disappointed as all three of us never enjoyed our meals. The curry was watery and my chicken tikka masala was yellow and not red like i'd expect it.

Chicken curry was delivered floating in grease no taste Restaurants answer next time we will give you a discount my wife couldn’t eat anything but rice First time of using never again hopefully Spice Hut back open soon this was terrible

I eat out a lot.. And I love a good curry, the nan bread here is the best I have ever had!!! although I did ask it to be extra well done. Crispy just the way I like it.. Had the zafrani my mate had the mekhani zafrani wonderful very nice medium curry with great sauce, the makhani was also nice but a tiny bit oily for me. Onion bhaji massive so one portion enough to share.. (not the best I've had but a solid 7 out of 10) would of liked some mint sauce to go on it too.. Special rice was lovely full of flavour.. All in all very good standard, authentic spices and both curries used chicken tikka pieces without us asking which was a bonus.. DEFINITELY BE GOING BACK - AND ALTHOUGH I LIKE TO TRY A NEW DISH EVERY TIME I WOULD DEFINITELY BE HAPPY WITH A ZAFRANI. AND THE NAN BREAD IF YOU LIKE CRISPY AND CRUNCHY NOT DOUGHY IS TO DIE FOR.!!!

Lovely food good vibe but service was slow

Were met and greeted immediately on arrival, asked for drinks and appetizer then left us alone without rushing us to order which was lovely, as we were busy nattering. Started with Papadums then Ordered the sizzling chicken mixed grill consisting of lamb shish kofte & chicken served with a side salad, only minor gripe was salad was a bit small and was mainly lettuce with 1 piece cucumber & 1 piece of tomato otherwise all tasted delicious when asked for extra rota dip it was no problem. Finished with floater coffee. All in all a lovely meal and atmosphere clean and bright will be back soon

We’ve eaten here for the last 2 years, today we placed an order for delivery and they just never showed up, after an hour we called and they said it was on route.... still never showed up!! In fact when we called again they said we got it wrong and we must have called a different curry house!!! My kids were starving and they couldn’t have cared less.... utterly shocking and we will never eat here or from here again - RUDE TIME WASTERS!
