09/09/24 - Dined in. Reasonable chicken thai pad for under a tenner. For those who don't want the Thai full monty, chillies and peanuts are optional.

We went there on cold winter day thinking to have tasty Thai food but a major let down. Cold restaurant with poorly closed door leading all air to come. Slow food delivery and presentation of food was bad too

Bangkok Pad Thai has amazing food. My favorite restaurant in Sutton and the staff are so nice. Would highly recommend it. My favorite dish is the Pad Kee Mow. Great value as well.

I ordered a soup with chicken. My error as l thought l was ordering noodle soup which l had previously with my husband and was delicious . When l looked at the menu l only noticed soups. I admit it was my error but when my meal arrived as you can imagine it wasn’t what l was expecting. The young girl noticed my face and asked if everything was ok? I explained it wasn’t, as l was expecting that bowl and pointed to a lady eating what l thought l had ordered. She looked at me and said, that is noodle soup and you ordered soup. Yep, l know it was my error and clearly with her just standing there l said it’s fine, it’s my error. I heard when she went back and explained to the others that l wasn’t happy with my order they were saying she ordered soup! I would have expected the manager ( one in charge ) to come over, but she didn’t. It would not have hurt them to redo my order and charge me the additional cost as they could have just added the chicken from my “soup” to the noodles but they chose to just ignore me which is a shame as l won’t be revisiting them again as there are other Chinese shops /restaurants l can visit next time l am in Sutton. I would also like to point out they were not busy when l entered so no excuse which honestly there can never be an excuse when you know a customer isn’t happy!! I only ate the 4 pieces of chicken and left the rest!!

We’ve had a few takeaways from this restaurant and have always been quite pleased. This time, we decided to try a different dish to usual as the picture looked so lovely on Uber Eats. For starters, we had the Pork Dim Sum Shu-Mai. The main was a Chilli Stir-Fried Chicken dish and came with a bowl of chicken broth with courgettes. What turned up couldn’t have been more different if they tried. The Dim Sum was £4.70 for 3 pieces or £6.70 for 5. We decided to push the boat out for 5 so £1 each for 2 more pieces of tiny Dim Sum. If grey had a taste, this dish would capture it perfectly. For the main dish, the best way to describe it was a container of greasy grey gloop and the broth was a container of water with a single slice of courgette sliced into 4 small pieces floating on top. Genuinely thinking we’d received the wrong order, we called the restaurant and asked if this was what the dish was supposed to look like and we were told yes. We asked why it didn’t resemble the picture on the site and we were told ‘it’s how we do it.’ We asked why they have a picture of something quite different to what they actually deliver and again, the reply was ‘it’s how we do it.’ When asked if they realised they’d lose our custom with this sort of attitude, they said fine. If they couldn’t care less about their customers, we couldn’t care less about never returning.

The main meal that arrived looked nothing like what is pictured. It was off putting and ultimately inedible. Spring rolls were nice. Delivery was late but can only assume this was due to restaurant being busy with orders due to Euro final.

I came here with my friends, we ordered noodle soup and khoa soi, the best dish ever! Would recommend for anyone looking for authentic thai food, the portion sizes are generous and the service is amazing, very caring and helpful.

Foods are ok but not authentic. Service is ok not particularly good. Place is not very clean. Ventilation not good, i smell some oil fumes. Floor is a bit sticky.

Brilliant & amazing food. I describe it as the best Thai food in London (ops this will mean more queues) but not worth holding onto somewhere so good, delicious & tasty. I am lucky to have been a customer for over 8+ years and each visits is always the same. Thank you to the amazing team.

Usually love this place, however the quality of the food seems to of gone down somewhat. The spring rolls were overcooked and the pad Thai was pretty bland with next to nothing flavour. The Chicken satay was quite nice but would have been better if the sauce provided was larger as it was only enough for two of the chicken sticks. Such a shame as I used to love this place.

We arrived before 6pm with only one table being occupied. The waitress was polite and took our order and we have pay when the order is taken. She came to tell is they did jot have Jasmine tea, we asked for ginger tea, she came back and told they have not got it. In the end we ended up with coke and agreed to refund the difference. Within 10mins the restaurant was full and two taken drivers waiting. During the 45mins having dinner, there was loud slanging discussion between the chef, she did not seem happy and shouting so loudly that outside passer could hear. Not a pleasant place to eat. This showed in the quality of the food. The sweet tempura have 80% batter and 20% sweetcorn. We will give it a miss.

Even though it was close to home, half of the soup of Tomyanggung Noodle was spilled and arrived. And the soup itself was too little. It was quite inconvenient because all the bowls had soup on them.

Bangkok pad thai is my favourite place to have thai food. I had Pad Thai with chicken for takeout, it's as so delicious and had real thai authentic taste which I was craving. The staff were really nice and helpful.

I an having to remove a review to add this review. I used to come here once a week. I had to stop because cost of living and prices was quite high. I thought yesterday I'd give them another go as I love Thai food. I got a takeaway. I ordered extra peanuts which was never in the bag. Even though I asked before I left if the extra peanut was in the bag and they said yes. Which they wasn't when I got home. The pad thai was completely burnt the fire alarm did go of in there whilst I waited and I'm guessing that is because my whole meal was burnt. The noodles was al burnt stuck together. So so so disappointed. Considering the price you pay I'd expect a decent meal that could be eaten.

I recently dined at Bangkok Pad Thai in Sutton, and I have to say, I was blown away by the experience. The food was absolutely delicious.From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome. Even with a full house, they were quick to greet me and ensure I was comfortably seated and the food was absolutely delicious. Overall, I would highly recommend Bangkok Pad Thai in Sutton to anyone looking for delicious Thai food and excellent service.

Regular here! I come here very often for lunch or after work. The food is nice and the staff are really lovely and friendly. Pad Thai, Khao Mun Gai, Veg temp and Tum Yum noodle soup is so good.

Good food here, I have been here a couple of times. The menu has some good options that made it difficult to choose, Pad Thai prawns fresh and moisture Pad kaphrao it’s great for Thai taste No onion and bean. With yummy fresh and hot prawns tempura Tasty pan Asian food. The overall experience was great . Staff was fantastic and service was good Looking forward to return thanks

I visited Sutton few days ago with two friends on mine, and we decided to have lunch at this little restaurant. I had probably one of the best Prawns Pad Thai in UK! Great food, awesome service! A really pleasant experience for all of us!

One of my favorite places to eat Thai food in Sutton. I had Pad Thai and Pad Kee Mow which was really delicious and Pad Kee Mow was spicy. Had a great experience every time I visit.

Pad See Ew noodles were burnt leaving a bitter taste in the mouth and vegetables were undercooked. Prawn tempura was not in tempura batter. Prawns were battered in a thick coating of regular batter, and the sweet chilli sauce was watery. Disappointing meal, there were only 2 kitchen staff who were struggling to keep up with the lunchtime rush so the main meals came at different times. No check back to see if customers were happy with the food. Sadly I would not recommend. :-( Part 2: In response to your comments below. We didn't want to cause a scene by returning our food in front of a full café so we shared our feedback discretely with the kitchen staff once the lunchtime rush was over, but was met with we cannot give you a refund because you should have mentioned this earlier and we will cook it better next time. This was handled poorly, and we won't be returning.

Food is nice, a bit expensive for what it is TBH. Service is minimal, seatings are also basic, but comfortable.

Used to be an amazing takeaway meal. Tonight was the first time we'd used this restaurant in a while. The main dishes were underwhelming and one of the sticky rice portions was solid, crunchy and totally inedible, as if it was a few days old. Was supposed to be a special meal before our daughter went back to uni, instead it was a real disappointment.

Avoid at all costs if you have an allergy! It was made clear to the lady taking our order that there was a nut allergy and unfortunately came home to find peanuts in the food. Update - apology received from the owner and have been informed processes will be looked at.

The Tom yam soup is basically tomato (paste) soup with spice that's it. No flavour. Not much food in there as well. Soup is overflowing and all over the plate. sticky rice is hard rock and the container is dirty with dried rice grain sticked inside. The kitchen is messy with soup paste and some other ingredients flowing on the floor. The table is oily and sticky

Ordered a delivery the chicken fried rice was half full it cost £10.40. rang and told the thai women on her mobile that is the only number. she put the phone down on me. Tried ringing back no answer. How rude and soo disrespectfull.we will not be using them again. There OK to take your money 💰. I will spend my money elsewhere many other great places on the high street. Shame on them.

Good, simple interior and friendly staff. I had £9.40 chicken Pad Thai and it was tasty. A bit strange that price of some items aren't written on the menu.

Ordered via Uber eats the most appalling smell of oil and inedible. The entire order was binned. The momos were part frozen/cold, the green curry had a smell and aubergine fry was completely awful. The only grace was pad thai, which had chicken barely cooked. Having travelled to Thailand and lived at months end, I know a decent Thai - this is not recommended or authentic.

I like Thai food. This Thai restaurant with a Thai experience brought me back to the memory of beautiful Thailand and the friendly people there. Love their Tom Yam and Tom kha Soup, it has a real Thai taste. I really like eating Prawn and Vegetable Tempura. It tastes so crispy. Recommend this restaurant, good quality very valuable.

Used to be amazing food from here, was one of the best pad Thai’s and a great portion size, portion was in a different tub about a quarter of previous size I’m still starving! Tub was different for the curry too which tasted completely different. My partner is also still hungry. We eat Thai food regularly and this went from being one of the best to now the worst. What has happened? Is it new management?

Had the Pad Sen. Absolutely delicious, I devoured it. I would love to go again. However, the extra vegetables turned out to be a few pieces of broccoli, which is disappointing since it cost £1.50 for that. Overall a great Thai café!

Delivery was quick. But unfortunately food was bland. With just a bit of chillis sprinkled on top. Not enough ingredients in the noodles lacking chicken and spice. Very very bland. Won’t be ordering again and not worth 11.00.

Pad Thai wasn’t good at all. The smell was vial and did not eat it.

We usually eat in and the food is great. However, for the delivery, we were very disappointed, both dishes were too salty, eggs were burned, fried rice was too oily, and there was an iron wire inside the pineapple fried rice. It was just unbelievable.

Small portion of veggies for the price but tasty

I popped here for a quick dinner with a friend before going out for the evening. For my starter, I went for the Shu Mai (Dim Sum), which are steamed dumplings. I opted for 5 (£6.50) of them filled with minced pork. They were moist and tasty and went well with the light dipping sauce. Just a shame they were a bit small for the price as I could have done with a few more based on what I paid. For my main, I decided to have the Pad Sen with pork (£9.40). This is a stir-fry dish with pieces of pork, rice noodles, spring onions, carrots, red peppers, soy sauce, and various other vegetables. It was nice and light, a very easy to eat and delicate dish! It didn't feel oily or heavy at all! All the flavours and ingredients welorked well....but again, just a shame the dish was a bit on the small side. Also, there was some chicken mixed in, even though I ordered pork...hmmm. Overall, a solid 4 stars from me...just the portion size being the only let down in my opinion. So, if you're looking for some quick, clean, and tasty Thai street food, then definitely give this place a go. The service was fine.

One of my favorite dishes at Bangkok Pah Thai is Kuaitiao Khua with vegetables. Served with chili sauce, it tastes wonderful. A wide range of toppings can be chosen, and it is suitable for vegetarians.

I have been dreaming of the perfect Khao Man Gai since childhood days of eating it in Singapore. this place absolutely nailed it.

UPDATE: two hours later and I’m violently ill. I only had two pieces of chicken. Avoid! - Food was extremely watery and almost tasteless. I think they must freeze and defrost the food at order because there’s no way sweet and sour sauce is cooked freshly like this? It’s inedible!

They only work for deliveroo and uber eats waited more than 20 min to get my food. And they handing over other guys. Avoid.
