Dined with family as cousion was over from Canada and loves Itallian food. We had such a lovely eve from moment we walked in. Food was great as with the sevice. Owner is so lovely. Would highly recommend this cosy itallian local.

Probably one of the better restaurants in Uxbridge, but somewhat average compared to Italian restaurants elsewhere. Pasta was a bit overcooked and too creamy. Tiramisu was very good. Good and attentive service.

Was out for my 55th birthday and wife booked Nonna Rosa. Not been here before and menu looked good, especially the specials. Top authentic Italian food. Had calamari with home-made Tartare sauce and home-made chilli sauce, and for main had the sea bass (cooked to perfection). For dessert had Tiramisu (very nice but still does not top the Tiramisu I had from Trevi in South Kensington). Only slight complaint was that the restaurant was a bit cold and draughty. Food and Service was top.

We went for Mother’s Day dinner, the food was exquisite especially the Rosemary Ciabatta and the bread and olives. The bruschetta was nice but was a bit flat. The mains of Mushroom Risotto, Mussels, Calzone and Spicy chicken was hot, delicious and hearty. Topped of with Vanilla Pannacotta and Limoncello cheesecake was just supreme.

We went to Nonna Rosa for a family meal at lunch time. The welcome was warm as we were shown to our table. The staff are attentive, polite and gave very good service adding to our experience. The restaurant itself is stripped back to show the venues history and then really nicely decorated to give a well presented and interesting environment. The food - a wide range of authentic Italian delights to choose from. We had two Pollo Cream a fillet steak with various vegetable sides. Special requests were made on the order due to allergies, which were followed perfectly. It was all cooked beautifully and it was commented how how nice all the mains were. For me it was the best steak i had enjoyed for quite a while. Thank you and well done

Amazing food and atmosphere. The pizzas are some of the best Italian pizzas I’ve had and full of flavour and soul. The white bait was delicious as was the rosemary oil & balsamic dip. One of the best Italian restaurants I’ve been to in the area. would definitely recommend!

Heard good stroies about this place so went to see. We have been waiting so long even for a drinks, not mention refill etc, food was ok but nothing special. Maybe just went on in of these "wrong" days

Very cosy restaurant with lovely food. Customer service was outstanding, they went above and beyond. We celebrated my dad's birthday, waiters surprised him with candle lit cake and sang happy birthday. It has made his day, Thank you! We definitely will be back. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Haven’t visited Nona Rosa for some time, despite being so local. Visited as part of a family Birthday meal and it was quite busy for a Monday evening which is always a good sign. Service was very good, all staff were very attentive and went above and beyond for one of our party who is blind, making him feel really at ease. Food - Had a Main menu & specials menu, all items were available, portion sizes were good and well presented. A good variety of options on both food and drinks. Wait time on food was very good, did not feel rushed through our meal at all. 12% service charge on bill, but we were a party of 10x and I would not for one second have had an issue with paying it evening the level of service we had. Overall, fantastic…will definitely not leave it this long to return and thank you to all the staff for a wonderful evening!

Sumptuous food, amazing cocktails, fantastic service, great vibe!

I have been to this restaurant many times, so this is a review based on the Feb visit but more widely my experience with this restaurant. As a family of 4 we arrived early for a booking (about an hour early) and I just wanted to see if we could wait at the bar if they were too busy. The manager met me at the door welcomed me in and said of course please come and eat now if you wish. This might seem a simple thing to say, but the first impression you get when you walk through the door of a restaurant is very very important to your perception of how the rest of the experience will be. The food was served promptly but without rushing, the manager asking if we would like time between courses. Again this is something many restaurants get wrong, as sometimes you feel rushed, and sometimes it is good to just relax a bit and take your time so the prompt again put us in a relaxed frame of mind. The food was great. I had Sardines for starters and they were perfectly grilled and tasty. For the main course I had Penne Pasta with spicy Tuscan sausage, tomato and pecorino. It was a generous helping and piping hot. Again these are two things that many restaurants get wrong. Some restaurants skimp on the size of the meal and don't serve to the table when the food is hot. The 2 for 1 cocktails were appreciated by my wife and son, as a driver I stuck to Cranberry juice. We were too full up for desserts, so didnt' partake but my other son had a glass of limoncello which he said was lovely. The manager was asking my son's which universtities they were at and what they were studying and it made a nice friendly encounter without being intrusive. As mentioned I have been to this restaurant many times over the years, and the staff are friendly, relaxed and the food is excellent. Pricewise it's about right - all food seems expensive to me, but this is priced at the right level for the quality. Thanks for a great experience. We will be back again.

The lady on reception at ARRI London Stage around the corner recommended Nonna Rosa’s and we were very pleased! It was a bit quiet for a Friday afternoon but a very cute and stylish place to eat. We had olives, bruschetta, seafood linguine and a mushroom risotto. Everything was delicious and the prices weren’t too bad either!

A nice Italian restaurant that embodies. The food was good- nut gourmet but more home good. The service was excellent for British service if you know what I mean. The guy was very nice and knowledgeable.

Lovely restaurant with friendly and enthusiastic staff, and delicious food. I had the Prawn Linguine from the specials menu and it was truly remarkable. Can't wait to return!

Nonna Rosa does the most reliable steak. I highly recommend their fillet Rossini and their filet pepe. Often, steak can be hit or miss, but not at Nonna Rosa. Aside from that, they are a quality Italian restaurant. The decor is traditional and there is a high level of cleanliness

Really lovely experience eating here. The food was very good. I was totally blown away by the pizza and garlic bread with cheese. The seafood linguini was also excellent. We had a great experience here and will definitely be back. The portion sizes were genrous, fresh, and tasty. They were also very attentive to my friends' dietary/allergen needs, which made us feel welcome and catered for. The staff were friendly and helpful. They get extra kudos for getting me a bowl of sliced chillies as I do like a spicy kick to my food. They also gave me two other chilli condiments, so I thoroughly appreciated the service. I don't remember his name, unfortunately, but the gentleman serving us mentioned he was originally from Paris. Thank you For looking after my group.

Great authentic italian food. I'm dairy free, and they had good options. Although the chef forgot to make the pizza without cheese, they made a new one quite quickly. I would recommend it.

Took a client here for a lunch and the food was wonderful, atmosphere was great and the team where accommodating allowing us to have the table half hour earlier. Definitely will be coming back!

I was a regular visitor to the Nona Rosa until I moved out the area moved. Went back this evening with my best friend and the Nona Rosa did not disappoint. This restaurant is a gem of Uxbridge. We were for dinner, the staff were very professional and the waiting time was just right. We ask for a rissotto and a pizza, it was good, the risotto has some big pieces of black pepper that we didn’t really enjoy, but the rest was nice. Thank you!

Booked for a group of 10 of us. The blonde waitress was so miserable from start to finish and ruined our experience. The food took a while to arrive but it tasted ok however the next morning most of us have now got diarhhea and bad stomach pains.

The service and atmosphere was good. The restaurant is, in fact, in a historic building. But I was disappointed by the food. I am glad I didn't have to pay for the food (I was there as a part of a paid-for Christmas dinner.) Having lived and traveled extensively in Italy for two years, I know what real Italian food tastes like. In this case, the bruschetta was soggy and the tortelli was overcooked. So it was a really disappointing experience food-wise.

Usually this restaurant is great with lovely food and service, but not yesterday! The seafood linguini dish was poor by Nonna Rosa standards. The calamari was rubbery, the mussels were over cooked. The prawns and clams were not in the dish, although should have been. When informing the staff, a plate of prawns were delivered to us, but no clams. They were apologetic and gave us a fee desert because of the omission. It was just disappointing. We usually love this place for the great food and service, but not this time. The place was packed downstairs and upstairs, and it was probably too busy for the chef to give his / her usual attention to detail.

Booked Xmas meal for 5 ladies on 10th Nov for Thurs 7th Dec. 3 course Xmas meal advertised as £27.50 p.p (we still have screenshot of this) we booked and paid £10 deposit p.p. On arrival on 7th Dec we were told the Xmas meal was in fact £37.00 p.p. when we queried this and said we had booked it on the fact it was advertised as £27.50 pp we were told that must have been old information on website and it was now £37 pp. Really!! Didn't think you should have offered us the original price as good will gesture at all??? Very shocked you didn't make any offer at all to us considering it was a mistake on your website!? Having said that the food was lovely but then we got the bill not only did you not offer us a goodwill gesture, you also forgot to deduct the £50 deposit we had already paid! Such a shame as seemed a lovely atmospheric place but ruined by this bad customer service 😢

I order the same thing on deliveroo for the past few months. Calamari fritti and Margherita. Is a bit of a hit and miss with their food. Sometimes is cooked to perfection, other times calamari are just chewy, stale, hard and pizza has something that resembles cheese.

Wonderful food- the staff are very helpful and we were very happy overall. We thought the dishes were value for money because they tasted good but also you got plenty of it. Dessert was great too and the whole place has a lovely warm feel to it. Highly recommend and we will be going back in the new year for sure.

The food here was ok. BUT 12% service charge is disgraceful. If my family thought the service was that good then they would leave a tip for the service. I just wonder how many customers have paid the service change of 12% then added another large tip on top. Would they tell you that you've already paid. 🤔

Nonna Rosa is a cute place with a nice ambiance. The food isn't remarkable but is pretty good. The reason this restaurant doesn't get more stars is the fact that the service is very unfriendly and borderline racist. Comments from our server included: "this is chili which you people can probably understand and handle" are really unnecessary. Our party of 5 could have overlooked the strange comments had we not had other issues with the service. Bottom line is that I doubt we'd return.

Went to nonna rosa on saturday evening for dinner with my husband. Everytime we've been here we've had a great meal & this time was no exception. We started with the mussels & whitebait which we shared & was delicious. Hubby had a chicken main & I had seafood risotto (best i've ever tasted!), both fantastic. We had a bottle of house red to accompany our meal which was lovely & jug of water was provided without having to ask. Didn't have a dessert as was too full but totally satisfied. We sat upstairs, it was nice & a chilled atmosphere. Service was excellent, our waitress was friendly & professional. It really is a lovely place to eat Italian food & would definitely recommend.

The food served here is generously portioned, and the service is excellent. Unfortunately, what really lets it down for me is the lack of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the restaurant. The toilet located on the 1st floor was rather appalling, as there was no hand soap in the dispensers. I think a restaurant with a 4.4 star rating ought to take more care with their premises.

The food was really delicious. The service was quick. One of my favourite dining option in Uxbridge.

We have eaten at Nona Rosa for many years always a ‘go to’ for special occasion, last night was the only time it was ever less than a five star evening. We were greeted with ‘have you come with friends?’ When it was established it was just a booking for 2 there was a voluble discussion that as we were only two people we couldn’t sit in the main restaurant and needed to go up stairs - it was al a bit uncomfortable and felt like we were putting the host out. Food was mediocre -and ready so fast I could almost hear the ‘ping’. We were seated upstairs where the tables are almost touching and the free entertainment is watching the queue for the toilet! The noise was terrible. The saving grace was the attentive and friendly waitress staff who couldn’t do enough. We will be back but not upstairs and not on a Friday!

Found this restaurant through Trip Advisor as I was staying at Heathrow before travelling and my wife is Coeliac; so our options are restricted. We was lucky enough to get a table, without booking, and that’s where our luck didn’t end. The staff were all so friendly and knowledgable about gluten free requirements, a garlic bread and cheese starter followed by a pasta carbonara with the best pasta around. A must for anyone with gluten free requirements I cannot recommend this place highly enough. It was well worth the 30 min drive from Heathrow and I would happily travel further to experience Nonna Rosa’s again. I was able to leave with a happy wife as she always suffers for choices and quality when it comes to eating out. Thank you all at Nonna Rosa’s

food was nice but the racist art work throughout restaurant is heartbreaking 💔 🤢 To be fair, if you can eat food and look at such artwork go for it but it’s surprising how they are allowed to display such “art”.

Came here for a lovely romantic dinner. Service was fantastic from the moment we walked in the door. Menu is large, with lots of options. We had a pizza and pasta and both were big portions with loads of flavor. This is my new favorite in Uxbridge. A must.

Wonderful graduation lunch. Lovely food and service. The restaurant is really beautiful comprising of low ceilings and old beams. I don’t think there is anywhere like it. We shared an assortment of starters including mussels and prawns, really fresh and flavourful. We all had different mains, I had the lamb which had wild pesto. Great portion and perfect lamb. We were almost defeated by the portions, but still managed to share the tiramisu which was worth the tight dress by the end! Oh and we then topped it all off with some limoncello

Having dined here with family we were very disappointed on a return visit. Not once were we asked if the meals were ok or if we wanted any more drinks. The portion size of one meal was very small & spinach was nowhere to be seen!!!!!!

People of Uxbridge, how lucky you are. I hope you know it. The best Italian food I've had in the UK. Excellent cocktails, fabulous food, and genuinely lovely staff. Please move to Birmingham .

Had a family meal Friday lunchtime and it was lovely to see a restaurant so busy and buzzing with “that Friday feeling”. Loads of food choices, and with the exception of one out of 4 dishes which was maybe a little bland, the rest were absolutely delicious! Seafood linguini was offered to be made into risotto without even asking, which was perfect as, done right, that’s one of my favourite dishes. It was delicious! Spicy and full of flavour. Good size portions too. The other two dishes were equally liked. We tried two desserts - tiramisu - yummy -and the limoncello cheesecake - all homemade and was so creamy and delicious! Staff knew we were together for a special celebration and made us feel welcome and went that extra mile for us. Comfortable surroundings (lovely building with character features), cosy and bubbly atmosphere, great food and good size portions, plus great service. Will definitely return.

Eaten here whilst in the area with work, great meals and great service. We have now had 2 separate Christmas meals (one for a party of 2 and for over 20), both times were flawless, speedy service, every order correct, attentive staff and lovely food....

Great vibe, great service, big portions. My fav is the pizza garlic bread, lots of garlic and mozzarella. Love their Aperol spritz that comes in an almost fish bowl sized glass. Good times

We went as a group of 5 ranging from a 65 year old to an 22 year old. We all loved everything we had. The service was excellent and we ended up taking home enough food for another meal each!
