Ordered at 17.10 arrived at 19.10 food was cold and threw it all in the bin will never order from there again

Pre-booked for 4 people no table ready so separated table and smashed vase in process and did not clean it up. Food service really slow and did not provide all main course ordered. We asked where other dishes were and she went to check, did not come back to us, so 10 minutes later we asked one of the younger waitresses who went to check. The first waitress came back and said it was sent to wrong table and would reorder....... all other 'mains' had gone so we declined paid and left. No apology.

One year ago my husband and I had previously collected a takeaway and both commented on how friendly and polite the lady at the counter was and what a nice atmosphere the restaurant had. Well, last night we decided to dine there.....we were the first people in there but got served the last, due to a couple of regulars coming in.... when we came to order I asked what they could recommend as a vegan starter. I was told that I could only have the seaweed. (We wasn't allowed to order our complete meal, only one course at a time). The waiter told us we have to have starter, then something from the meat section and then a side..Red flag). Bearing in mind I also said I was vegan. The seaweed arrived on my husband's meat dish, with fish shavings!! My husband asked for a separate serving of seaweed for me. When it arrived it tasted like sugar. My husband said his chicken dish was all bone and gristle. The waiter, who i believe to also be the cook, was abrupt didn't listen to our dietary requests and continued to put us last in pecking order! We asked the waiter if was the new owner of the restaurant and he snapped that he was. Very rude, very unprofessional. If you enjoyed Fawlty Towers go experience it for yourself. It cost us £64 in total. If I could've run fast enough I'd have legged it

Food was well presented any very tasty..good variety of main course dishes..staff very accomidating will defo revisit

Not one for writing reviews but after reading some of the reviews on here I nearly didn't go to Noble House but as Id heard it had new managers in I thought I would give it a go. I am really pleased I did as the food and service was absolutely first class. The all you can eat menu is really well priced and the mixed platter starter followed by crispy duck was about all i could handle. If you haven't been in the last couple of weeks please give this restaurant a go I don't think you will be disappointed.

It's my birthday and order a Chinese usually lovely beautiful food but this time I order through just eat at around 7.45 and it took till 10 past 10 to come cold and over cooked. I rang over 10 times for them to be rude and for them to ignoee me I'm absolutely devastated as iv wasted 45 pound for it to be wasted. DO NOT ORDER FROM NOBBLE HOUSE.

Had a takeaway from here tonight via Uber eats. Was delicious as always. We ordered ahead of time and asked for a 6 to 6.30 delivery slot. The restaurant called and politely asked if we'd mind receiving it a little earlier as they had another delivery in our area, I'm sure a lot of places would've just sent it early without checking. We were fine with it and the food was awesome. Best Chinese takeaway in the area. Have heard great things about the restaurant too so will definitely be visiting soon! 5*!

Won’t be coming again, the male waiter was ever so rude, I didn’t feel comfortable or welcome coming here I came alone with my child, he spoken to me terrible and as I was ordering food he was rude and basically told me I was greedy because I ordered 3 dishes for our main to share. Never felt so shocked to be in a restaurant and be dealt with this way. Never again.

Ordered Sunday night on their website at 6pm. Said it was delivered at 7:20pm. It had not been as I was sat at my living room window and seen it. Waited till 8pm then drove to the restaurant they couldn’t even find my order. I had to give it to them three times and they served 4 other people that had come in after us before we got our food. Didn’t even get a sorry and had to ask if we could have anything extra as we had paid for delivery yet had to drive. We got our food at 9pm, fast forward to 10:30pm as I’m in bed and the delivery driver turns up at my door with my food 4 hours after I ordered

Ordered food said it would be here for 7pm 2 hours later no food and can't get hold of them but they've said it's delivered avoid avoid avoid 30£ down the drain

food was scheduled to arrive at around 10:15 gave them a call around 11 ish as was still waiting and i get abuse and mouthed at by the staff on the phone saying they’ve been to the door multiple times which was a lie as we have a ring doorbell. will never be ordering from here again, since it’s been taken over it’s really gone downhill do not recommend this place at all

We've been a customer for over 5 years and noticed the steady decline in food and service with meal at an all time premium price but stuck with it hoping the food would come good again but Fridays food came at an all time low standards not even the basic chow main came in a hot and edible manner £44 worth of food went to the dog

I've been coming to Noble House for years on end and I've always enjoyed my experiences there. But after last night it's made me never want to return again. As far as I'm aware there are new management and last night the only waitress there was put through literal hell because she made a mistake on an order. Me and my friend along with others in the restaurant had to listen to you screaming at her for over half an hour as well as even chasing her out into the restaurant whilst she was attempting to carry and serve food. The poor woman was trying to keep a brave face and I have no idea how she managed it as even your delivery driver sat there and said he'd report this if it continued as it was clearly bullying. There is absolutely NO need to treat your staff so badly and I'm writing this to hopefully make you realise how saddening it was to see a person be followed repeatedly and screamed at by your customers.

We did regularly order from noble house. The food is amazing. However if you would like it delivered be warned it takes forever. The last 2 occasion we have waited at least 1 hour over the delivery time communicated. Approx. 2 hours. Great Chinese but you need to sort out your delivery service.

The takeaway food was very fresh and tasty, I'm looking forward to my next meal.

Always a lovely place to come all you can eat sit down meal food is amazing staff are lovely and the music is fantastic it just such a lovely place for a meal

Downloaded the menu from their site and spent a while looking at the choice. Was directed to an app to place an order so downloaded that only to find out the app prices are vastly different to the menu prices, so didn't bother to order

Wouldn't recommend possibly the worste Chinese I've ever had, I had salt and pepper chips -ok at best pineapple rice - very dry and the pineapple had no flavour, chicken in black pepper sauce - the sauce was like dark water and the chicken didn't seem or taste like chicken, sweet and sour chicken balls- the sauce wasn't great, the best bit about the meal was the curry sauce. I DID NOT ORDER any noodles nor did I order any beef. Yes this was my first order and unfortunately it will be my last. 2 star is being generous

Was persuaded to have a takeaway from here and it will be the first and last. Had a chicken curry box which consisted of lots of rice with 3 small pieces of chicken 2 slice of onion and a mushroom in small amount of sauce. Best pancake roll I have ever had hence the 2 stars

Not great, delivery took nearly 2 hours and we had to walk down the road to find our driver as he hadn’t read the delivery instructions. Food was hot still though, although not very tasty.

Visited today for the first time and we really enjoyed it! The service was quick and efficient; the staff were polite and well-informed (one of us is gluten-free). The food itself was served in small portions which suited us well as we could eat/try more variety of dishes and order our favorites again (their salt and pepper chicken was especially good and surprisingly gluten-free). Another dish to point out is its sizzling plates, the ingredients used to cook ours were fresh and cooked in a thick aromatic source; a must have for ginger lovers. The place had a cozy atmosphere and an easy ordering system and to our knowledge, there was no time limit. Little puddings at the end were a welcomed surprise. Overall a great option for all you can eat with tasty food for all.

We had family and friends visiting from Australia who we’re staying in Heanor so a Chinese restaurant meal was an obvious choice. The food was excellent in my opinion and lots of it. We chose the eat as much as you like menu with great starters soup main courses and dessert. The waitress was delightful attentive and helpful. A real asset to the business. The reason for four stars is because of the seating arrangements. The last time we used this restaurant we had a round table. This time a long table .This is not a buffet menu you get table service. Bring a good appetite and enjoy.

One of the tastiest Chinese takeaways we ever had. Highly recommended and very friendly staff too. The food we had was very well cooked and the mushroom rice is to die for. Never been there before, but will definitely be going back 👍

Decent Chinese all you can eat buffet. Portions particularly small with the starters and the desserts barely a mouthful.

Had many good takeaways from but did have one bad one I had to return. Tried the restaurant recently on the all you can eat menu. Wasn't mega impressed. Had to order ribs about 4 times as they kept bringing a couple of the smallest ribs they could find each time. You have to have rice or chips with a main and obviously the rice is huge and the main is small. I know they have to make money but sneaky strategies to fill you up aren't what I'm used to compared to similar restaurants in Nottingham city. Problem is, they charge city restaurant prices

All you can eat buffet was delicious, lots of choice, fast service, (although decor a little dated and it was cold without your jacket on) but really nice food and will be going again.

Since the new management took over a couple of years ago i do not now rate it anything like it was.! Used to be brilliant in every area. Went the other week to eat and had a surprise in a few areas. Cold inside. Tight with the heating. No table cloths on any table now.Bare tables. Used to be linen cloths. Paper napkins not linen anymore. Music too loud ,more disco like than Chinese Restaurant.(unfortunately) THEN - to top it all up, got to paying to be told by the Waitress that it WAS CASH ONLY.....NOT TOLD BEFORE I HAD EATEN. Had to literally go to a cashpoint and wihdraw cash to pay bill. Had cards on me only. Who in this day and age has Cash only??? Everyone takes cards and cash. Disappointed. Food good but not as good as previously. What a great shame - this used to be SO GOOD.

My partner and I visited Noble House for the first time last night. We ordered All You Can Eat and the food was simply amazing. The special fried rice, egg fried rice, Cantonese beef, beef with mushrooms and chow mein and prawn toast were all cooked to perfection. The service was swift and friendly and we look forward to visiting again soon!

Waited over an hour for the food to arrive. All the food was cold, and not the best quality. Some of the items were wrong. The food is not fresh as some kept in the fridges. The worst Chinese I’ve had in a very long time. Would not recommend.

Service is very good but the quality of the food is very poor. Given really small dishes which I didn't mind as it's order as many dishes as you like for a set price. Ordered several different dishes and worse one being a chicken dish. Chicken didn't even look or taste like chicken. It was vile. More expensive than Cosmo or wing wah. I would avoid Noble House!

Food was nice but the portion sizes are disappointing for the price. Let's face it, we are not in Nottingham..

The set menu I would say is rather expensive for the quality of the food. The ribs were poor quality and dry, the ribs had hardly any meat on. The “sizzling beef and prawn dishes” well I can only describe them as disgusting. The dish was poured onto a hot plate and was not cooked on the plate like in any other restaurant I have been to. This caused the dish to turn into a slime like consistency which was not edible. Up until this point the service had been quite good and I had no complaints about this element of my experience at Noble House. This was until we expressed our dissatisfaction with the meal and especially the sizzling dishes. We asked for. Deduction on the bill as serval dishes that we ordered we did not eat. The waitress stated that we were not able to and it was based on our own personal taste. Have you ever been to a restaurant and had reservations on your meal to be told it’s down to your personal taste? Because I certainly haven’t. Will not be visiting again.

My meal came and chicken curry was cold. Emptied on plate to warm up and it came out as a block and shook like a jelly. When warmed tried and chicken was disgusting.

Last visit to Nobl;e House was a few weeks before March 23rd lockdown, after over a year we visited again, its had a bit of a makeover, still same excellent food menu and plenty to eat, good service apart from credit card machine didn't work, who uses money anymore, wish they had mentioned this before eating or arriving.

Starting with the Thai fish cakes. Did not even look like a Thai fish cake more like a deep fried potato ball, bland and greasy. Then Thai red curry, the chicken was the fatty gristle from the under side of the bird, uneatable. They are welcome to contact me to explain them selves

The Chicken Pad noodles I ordered were rubbery and in a few places stuck together and very rubbery. When I emptied it out of the container it stayed in one big rubbery block. Totally lacked any colour and was a gulag grey in colour. The crispy pancake roll was anything but crispy.... Poorly filled and bland. Just as well it was discounted due to spending more than £20. If this is anything to go by I will not be ordering from here again

Great Chinese takeaway, not so keen on the thick gloopy sweet and sour sauce but everything else is top quality!

We have had a number of takeaways from here. Food is excellent but the deliveries are abysmal. This week we ordered at 18.30 and received meal at 20.40 after advising us on ordering, approximately 19.30 This has happened with our last 3 orders, so we have decided that we will not be ordering any more, Sorry.

Unfortunately I am disappointed with the food. There is nothing special about specials, I could say that the ingredients are missing or the dish is incomplete. Last time I ordered a special chow main, unfortunately the food was too spicy and I wasn't able to eat it, so this time it was a wrong choice for our family.

We ordered for “Cheeky Tuesday” on just eat This was the only Chinese restaurant available so we were not exactly spoilt for choice. It was a gamble.We’re so glad we took the risk. The food was almost on time, and the food was hot.We had the crispy chicken and chillies, the pork balls, boiled rice and sweet and sour sauce. Nothing too adventurous but it was simply amazing.Tasty pork with a great marinade. The batter was crispy and actually tasty in its own right. The sauce was think and sweet and the crispy chicken and chillies was just lovely.Good portions, great flavours and reasonably priced.We will use this place again, definitely.

I visited on the 17th August 2020 for the first time and was highly disappointed. They seated us and left us waiting for a a good while before taking our order. I think the staff were very unattentive and rude. On this day they were doing the "eat out to help out" 50% discount on the bill of which I was glad because for the amount of food that was served for 5 people was definitely not worth the 50% off, let alone if we were to pay full price. We waited long between orders aswell which was annoying. Will not be coming back

Came today for a belated anniversary meal. They have decorated and had new flooring looks amazing. Food....wow absolutely gorgeous. We really enjoyed it. We even had pudding. My son tried lots of new dishes and loved it too. Staff are amazing, very polite, kind and very welcoming 😀😀😀 well be returning

Takeaway ordered was told 45 mins wait, okay after after 90 mins and 3 phone calls, was told food going to 24 and i live at 22 so will not order takeaway again, the poor driver got my anger and for that i was sorry not his fault, the lady that took my order well....

Just returned from a lovely meal at Noble House, Heanor.Service was outstanding and the food was amazing full of flavour, good selection of dishes, excellent value for money.We will definitely be eating here again, and will be suggesting Noble House to friends and family.

I have known this restaurant for years! they do serve great food! been there with my english friends last week! they loved the food! the service was very pleasant! Each food portion are small but guarantee fresh cooked and hot! you can have as much as you want ! we had 3 times of a kind of smoked chicken from the starter, and twice spare ribs! They are amazing! the desserts are a new things in menu(it wasn't there before) ! my friend from Derby said definitely will visite again!

the starter was absolutely amazing! we had smoked shredded chicken 3 times because the amazing taste(it is a buffet,so you can eat and order as many times as you want)! my friends from derby were the first time visit, they were amazed by the taste, the most important was the food are hot when they are being served! the service are very good! definitely will go back again

The welcome was friendly and efficient, and the food was exactly as expected but tastier! The buffet was regularly refreshed, our table was regularly cleared, and we were regularly, but not excessively offered more drinks. This is our families best experience ever of a Chinese buffet, and we will certainly return soon

Came here for Valentine’s Day with our son for a nice meal as we have been here a few times already before. It is most defiantly the last time we will be eating here absolute disgusting service from the man we were made to feel very uncomfortable and not welcome (very very rude man) has the waitress running around for him like his little b****. Other eaters who was sat down after us had already been given food and they hadn’t even come to us to take our order this was the start we had to ask 3 times for more prawn crackers and we were felt like everyone else was always being offered more food etc and not bothered much with us at all. £53 for an awful experience and didn’t even eat much as had gone past hungry by the time we were served each bit so my partner never even had a main.

First time visit this year and it was the same good standard of food, great choices Kung po chicken & chilli duck my favourites, plenty to eat, full stomachs upon leaving and a good night out.

.Been going there for 20 years and always enjoyed my food and service. but the management as changed and it seams no one there gives a hoot anymore They have succeeded in ruining a very good restaurant in a very short space of time.The food quality as gone down the pan and as been very over priced,£19 for all you can eat buffet total rip off! The golde pearl charge £9 for all you can eat and the food is better quality.Very over priced.service is absolutely terrible with rude waiter.Never going back again

Food is pretty poor. My partner goes here often with her mates. We came here when there was a power cut.. The whole of Heanor had a power cut. We had no cash, as usual, the lady made us charge down the highstreet for a cash machine which were not working obviously because of the mass power cut. We were escorted around like thieves, we left our name and number and paid the following day without so much of a thanks. For some reason they used Gloss to paint the walls. Terrible experience and the food ain't that good either.

Visited with a group of friends on a Friday night so it was £19 pp for the all you can eat menu. The food was tasteless and bland. The service was terrible - had to ask 3 times for a round of drinks before it finally came. Won’t be returning

Enjoyed good hot food but service slow

Ordered a takeaway as all felt peckish, and what we got was probably one of the worst tasting takeaways, normally food is amazing super tasty but tonight the food I must admit we were not impressed at all, food tasted off chicken balls tasted very old, chow main was very bland and not very tasty at all not to mension the chicken tasted funny like really old and not fresh for the price I paid tonight I am very disappointed and dissatisfied with the quality of our takeaway, not sure if its because they were busy waited nearly 45 minutes which is expected but for the food I expected it to be nicer very disappointed with the service!

Had a really nice meal - 6 adults. We all chose what we wanted off the a la carte menu and were pleasantly surprised with the bill. Service could not have been better - polite, pleasant and efficient. I'm sure we will return.

As always a Chinese buffet style table service at the Noble House was a belly filling treat, plenty of choices, good service, friendly atmosphere and busy, well worth a visit.

Food was of excellent quality and the endless supply of it was welcomed by the members of my group. The seating is quite tightly packed however, leaving little space for plates, drinks or getting up/down from the table.
