Noah's Ark Kitchen & Deli in Chorley

I visited twice within a week & both times the experience was very good. First time with my pals for lunch & all three of us enjoyed our meals. The second time was with my partner & daughter for breakfast. Again the food was perfect. Most meals are cooked from fresh so there may be a short wait but it’s worth it. The staff are really nice & the cakes are unbelievable.

I like this place as the tables are well spaced and it doesn't get overly crowded. The food is superb, the poach eggs are the best I've tasted near and far by a country mile! Lots of breakfast choice. The prices are good and the staff are attentive and friendly. The cakes are equally more-ish. As a local of Adlington this remains one of my favourite places for breakfast/lunch - stay in or take away.

Noah’s Ark always offers us a good plate, we’ve actually never been disappointed! We’re always greeted with a smile. Today we built our own breakfast and again left feeling more than satisfied! She’s really quite fussy and the lady serving us took no problem in serving exactly what she wanted (not very often that this happens) The hash browns were super crispy and full of flavour, the guac is to die for and the eggs! Absolutely PERFECT poached eggs, you can tell they’re quality eggs and they couldn’t have been cooked to a better standard. Everything on the plate was super clean, not a drop of grease in sight! The only downside is that the cappuccino was luke warm but it’s no biggie we just prefer ours hotter. Oh and the vigorous sweeping whilst people are eating/drinking isn’t ideal, we’d suggest not doing this as seeing all the dust flying around was quite off putting, but again pretty minor! All in all we really do rate Noah’s Ark and highly recommend it for people looking for good clean food and service.

Absolutely fantastic as always. Friendly efficient service that is exceptional value for money. We had the full English on an early Sunday morning. Hit the spot perfectly. They even made a little breakfast butty for my little man. Just perfect.

This is a lovely clean cafe on main road in Adlington matched by the friendliness of the staff. I called in for breakfast and ordered the lighter option with a latte. Everything cooked fresh and very tasty made for a good start to the day. Coffee was piping hot which makes a change from some places. They also do a wide range of homemade cakes. I bought 4 different types and took them home. My daughter said the malteaser shortbread was as good as it gets. Will certainly visit again.

All through the lockdown we have bought food from Noah’s Ark & they never disappoint. Their selection is excellent & they seem to know that people like comfort food. The staff are polite, helpful & nothing is too much trouble

We loved our afternoon tea take out in lockdown. My daughter is coeliac and her gluten free afternoon tea was the best she’s ever had! Amazing! A perfect birthday treat. We also ordered a huge gluten free birthday cake from here too. You could not tell it was gluten free. It was delicious. Highly recommended.

Ordered 2 omelette's (cheese/tomato 4 me. Red Jam omelette for Mum 87yrs) yep old fashioned lancashire dish(not on menu but willingly done for her) both as usual delicious & v much appreciated. Cheap tasty & v obliging with our unique war time meals . Recommend to all ALWAYS

Ordered afternoon tea for a birthday treat and it was amazing. Loads of food, lots of choice, and absolutely delicious. Will definitely be back. The breakfasts are wonderful too. Really friendly and helpful!

We ordered a takeaway afternoon tea as a family birthday celebration and were really impressed with the friendly, professional service and the quality of the food.We were treated to very generous portions, fresh, tasty sandwiches and delicious desserts. They were all lovely but the meringues need a special mention as they were an absolute triumph! We can also recommend the takeaway breakfasts - made to order and really tasty. We will certainly be returning - thank you.

There is a slight delay after placing an order but that is because everything is cooked from fresh. The staff are very attentive & pleasant helping make it an enjoyable experience. The sausages are especially nice, although everything was delicious.

We woke to a powercut so decided to head out for breakfast and an emergency phone charge.Lovely selection of breakfast and luckily tables next to power points. Observed some lovely dishes coming out of the kitchen and my full english didnt disappointment, plenty of toast and butter was a nice touch.They even offered to fill our flask before we had to return to our zero power new lifestyle.Thanks for a lovely start to march and fingers crossed for more future powercuts.

Visited here for a Saturday morning breakfast. I had heard good things about this place so couldn’t wait to try. We waited a long time for our food to come. You could tell one of the breakfasts was cooked before the other and sat waiting for the other to be ready. One was piping hot and the other slightly warm. It did seem to have a few tables in so will give it another go sometime.

These days it’s false economy to go for the cheapest option, which is why we prefer Noah’s Ark.It isn’t expensive, it’s just a little bit dearer than the cafe across the road - but what a difference!The standard of food is so much better, all home cooked fresh so the wait can be just a little longer but it’s worth it.

Last year I ordered a take away coffee from this place and it was just like warm milk it was so weak. This year after seeing improvements and lots of activity in the cafe I thought I'd give it another try but this time ordered a flat white so that I could actually taste some coffee. My flat white was served in rather a large cup with lots of milk. When I complained and tried to explain the virues of the flat white (smaller serving with silky not frothy milk so that the strength of the coffee comes through) the man serving seemed to take offence, told me that's what a flat white was supposed to be like and offered to put some hot water with it. I asked for him please not to put any hot water with it and just simply to serve a much smaller serving with hot milk. He put hot water in it making it into an Americano. He seemed very miffed and disappeared into the kitchen so I tried again with the woman behind the counter. Again, she seemed a little miffed with my request but did make an effort to make a flat white. It was OK but still didn't have the silkyness or richness a flat white is famous for. I was made to feel a little too fussy and a bit of an annoyance. All you have to do is Google "what is a flat white" or take a visit to other coffee establishments to see how it's done. "Nobody else has complained" is not great customer service.

Food was fine, not great, wait times were overly long. What really stood out is the way they absolutely insist that you use the menu as a placemat. They have actual placemats, they just make you put the menu on top of them before they'll hand your food over. I tried moving the menu to elsewhere on the table (during the long wait for food to arrive) and a staff member immediately rushed over and put it back. How weird and controlling! I just wish she'd moved that fast when it came to taking orders or delivering food!Oh, we also got a cake to take away. It mostly tasted of fridge. At least cover them with something if you have to store them overnight.

We have eaten breakfast here on numerous occasions and cannot complain about the quality of food and the service

Called in for a coffee and were tempted by the breakfast menu. Beautiful eggs benedict and hubby had a healthy English breakfast. Will definitely return soon. Good value for money too.

Love it here! Visit a lot! The staff are very friendly and helpful! Service can be a little slow at times but the food especially the breakfast is fantastic so well worth the wait!!

Cafe with a difference! Once a month, on a Wednesday evening, the cafe is host to superb craft courses. The owner, Tamsin, organises the refreshments which have been second to none. She has gone the extra mile to provide refreshments that cater to my allergies.I have recently been diagnosed withe allergies to barley, gluten, wheat and eggs, to name a few.......Tamsin and her chef have gone out of their way to make a cake for me that I can eat,....not an easy task given the allergies I now have! A refreshing change to have such good customer service. A little gem of a cafe!

Visited this place feeling glum after a big night out before. Welcomed with a smile and comfortable warm service. Food was great and reasonably priced too. Definitely recommend 5*

The cafe looks nice, but after ordering breakfast the eggs were undercooked. The cafe was a little cold and I also felt unwell after eating here...maybe a coincidence after trying somewhere new but there are too many good places to return to. Wouldn't return.

Just down the road from me, always sneak out Saturday Am while waiting for wife to surface🤫Staff always friendly good choice & half decent brew. Well worth a visit.

I enjoyed a cup of tea and a healthy breakfast at Noah's Ark with my family after a little walk around Adlington. It always feels very clean and the cafe caters for young children. There is more than enough space for pram and wheelchairs. There are also baby changing facilities.

Another good visit. Food and service perfect. Keep up the good work. Nice little cafe to visit on a local walk.

I have been here several times and thoroughly enjoyed the food. The place is painlessly clean and bright. Orders taken and fulfilled quickly. Attentive staff with nice smiles and pleasant attitude. Only "complaint" was that my jacket potato was SO huge I had to leave some which seemed a waste!!!

We came as a family for breakfast! The selection is great with good healthy options! My little boy has allergies and they were fantastic and very knowledgeable. Great quality food! Fast service! Good prices! Wishing them every success as a local business x

After a nice walk called in for brunch. Both had Eggs Benedict and lovely and tasty it was. First time been in since changed hands. Will definitely be back. Much more choice on menu than previous owners had. Lovely little village cafe with really nice staff. Keep up the good work!

We have eaten at Noah's Ark on a number of occasions as they have a great choice of breakfasts which are really good quality too (locally produced sausages & bacon etc). Many will include tea or coffee and they represent excellent value for money. They even do a healthier cooked breakfast. We noticed they now have a deli - which we haven't tried as yet, but would be good for lunches. The staff here are friendly and they have a spacious seating area. They have a facebook page giving updates and showing photos of their breakfasts & specials.
