Noahs Ark in Derby

We spent over £70 for our food to be delivered cold and missing half the order. We got a refund for our missing items from uber, however after eating what food we did have myself and my partner became very ill a few hours later leading to my partner having to miss work.

Well what a sad review to write. The team have been pulled apart under the closure terms, many of which have been made redundant from a career they have worked in for decades. Until the news it has always been great food and great service. Understandable that they slipped a bit given the circumstances. Thank you all for your years of service to us all. All the best for the whole team for the future. Derby will miss The Mallard!

We had a takeaway for hot wok, spondon, delivered. The chicken was so hard it was inedible, the black pepper sauce had never seen any black pepper, it was a dark coloured gravy. Tried to speak to them but they weren't interested. Awful experience and I can assure you that none of the family will be using them ever again

I wondered why I could get a table at Christmas. Booked two days in advance. Table for four. Got there and the barman had no idea that I’d booked. Had to go to a Whatts app to check. Ordered food and fifteen minutes later was told that there were no ribs. Ordered a burger. The food came out and it was cold. It’s not as if anyone else was eating. Shocking service and food. It’s a pity because it is a pub I hope will stay open.

We went there to celebrate xmas night. We entered in ok but was soon singled out for being people of colour. Me and 3 mates were kicked out for not buying enough drinks even though all “white” people were not buying drinks either. The black bouncer was embarrassed himself for kicking us out. Do not recommend that at all
