Really expensive. 2 cans of Pepsi and a flat white was £12.50!! That’s the most expensive Coke I have ever bought. We have now gone to the bar next door where we have paid £1.50 for a Coke. Friendly staff and all but omg that is so expensive. Also a lady sat behind us with a screen that was so so loud. I know it’s the parents place but what happened to the days when the staff would politely ask external noise to be moderated for the sake of other customers

Had a lovely morning at No3a with friends. We had lovely food from the brunch menu and it was delicious. All staff we really polite and friendly, didn't feel rushed and it was a lovely atmosphere.

Another Friday treat at No3a Neighbourhood Bar & Eatery and I must say Claire Hollis makes the most fabulous breakfast 🥰

9.30pm, Friday evening, band playing to an audience of 6. Feel sorry for the band. No management working. Such a shame as the venue has huge potential. Young staff working and trying their hardest with zero guidance.

We visited 3a for brunch on Sunday 19th May '24. There were 6 of us in total - 4 adults, 2 children. We got seen to a nice table outside and our drinks order was taken several minutes later. The server person was pleasant and welcoming. Everything going pretty well thus far. 25 minutes later we were asked for our food choices, it was barely midday, yet they had already run-out of Waffles?!! And it was now deemed to be too late for their breakfast menu?!! So we couldn't have their breakfast/brunch as intended, and the back-up option was a no-go either. The options were VERY LIMITED. We also had to change the kids orders on the fly - which as any parent will know is a challenge, after you've finally agreed on something with your little person, to then change it is very disappointing. By the time we had completed the food order from the depleted options, settling on some z-list food choices, we were all pretty hungry... And then in to the restaurant/cafe came a massive baby-shower of people, with their pre-booked food and drinks. If you go to 3a and see an event happening - RUN! They are not prepared for Joe public whilst an event is happening. We waited for our food... and waited.... and waited.... (it's going to be 30 minutes yet) and waited... (It's going to be another 20 minutes yet. We eventually left at 14:30pm - pretty unimpressed in general. The food for the grown-ups was okay for a grilled chicken breast and chips, but the filled croissant for the kids was dry/burnt. Had it not been for the complementary drinks, the kids would have rioted and flipped tables, and I wouldn't have blamed them. The service was pleasant but slow, the kitchen was massively over-run and I will not be looking to return in the future - especially after I witnessed the state of the kitchen having come out of the gents toilet to see the chaos.

This place just gets better, the breakfast menu is so full of choice and it’s all 5 star beautiful and great value for money. Your taste buds will explode yum yum !!!

Honestly the food was absolutely incredible! the portions were unreal, so flavoursome honestly so much credit to the head chef Jake!! He’s done so well since stepping into the role! Couldn’t have faulted the food whatsoever and the prices were so reasonable. I understand it was a busy time but found the level of service from the waitress a bit hit and miss. over all though thoroughly enjoyed the food and would definitely return!

First Greek food take away. Excellent and timely service. Food was superb. My daughter remarked “the best chorizo ever”. My kofta was excellent as well as mezze. Thank you.

My wife and I visited this bar. I had The Greek Burger with seasoned fries and my wife had Loaded Gyro Wraps. The food was absolutely delicious and was a relaxing atmosphere and will definitely visit again.

Great food and cocktails, friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Would have loved another cocktail and pudding but sat at the table for 40 mins waiting then gave up.

Several years ago, this used to be a quite cool place to go for coffee etc. Now it has generated into a farce. We recently went to their "Greek" night, which was more akin to a pitta bread and chips city centre kebab house. Just a load of over-priced rubbish. Everything comes with chips, and doesn't resemble anything I have ever eaten in Greece apart from the Humus which was really good. On paying the bill, my wife's card was charged, and the waitress insisted the payment hadn't gone through. We asked for a receipt to show the failed transaction which she refused to produce. My wife reluctantly paid again, and sure enough, next day, we had been charged twice. Trying to resolve this with the venue was painful, they asked us to prove everything, which we did as we had kept the receipt. This was sent to them and they asked us to return in person to get a refund, which we are not able to do. Sent them even more evidence via email and demanded a refund, which they told us they would issue immediately. Nothing. Then completely ignored us, and stopped communicating completely. Our Bank then did a successful chargeback. Clearly underhand and cannot be trusted. Overall the standard of service was disappointing, very long wait for every course. The food was woefully inadequate and overpriced. The seating was uncomfortable, and we wouldn't dream of going back. Have spread the word accordingly amongst our family and friends. Save yourself the disappointment and go elsewhere.

Been a few times, food is always great but service has never blown me away, it is often slow and never with a smile. (That being said, there is a nice gentleman who often greets people, he may be the manager and he is friendly!)Unfortunately, visited this weekend, it took 10 minutes to order 2 coffees and 20 minutes later they hadn’t arrived so we left.I would be sympathetic if it was busy but they had 4 tables indoors and 4 tables outdoors with 3/4 waiting staff.We didn’t feel looked after or really even acknowledged. If you’re after a quick coffee and catch up with friends/family I would not recommend. If you have no rush to be anywhere else, you should be fine.

We have visited No.3a twice during lockdown restrictions meaning outside dining and the experience was great both times. The food is delicious with really good portions, but the service and hosting is why we really go back. Nothing is too much trouble very friendly.Looking forward to going back for a third time.

Was given a hostile response from the business. I was nothing but polite. Attempted app, phoning, and Facebook message and WhatsApp about my order. People shouldn’t be treated like this.

We go to 3a a lot (when we aren’t in lockdown) and are really missing it - we have had a few takeaways at home though and it has all been fantastic. Food, drinks and service are always spot on. We last visited on Christmas Eve for Brunch and the food was great. We love that they serve brunch throughout the day and the greek menu on an evening is amazing too. We also love the orange wine!All drinks are delicious - you can tell that they are using the best quality ingredients. There is a great atmosphere and we can’t wait to have many more takeaways (and visits when it opens back up)!

Alex is an absolute star and a true professional. He is what keeps us constantly coming back. Hard working, warm and welcoming. Every coffee venue needs a manager like Alex!!

I don’t even know where to start...! I signed up on TripAdvisor purely to post my review... I have visited 3a on a few occasions & it has to be said, just WOW!The manager (I assume he is, as the only one not in uniform, always well presented & clearly running the show) goes above & beyond. I have visited with family & friends on different occasions, & come back not only for his 5* service, but amazing fresh food & beautiful ambiance. He has delivered every time, clearly guiding his team in a flawless manner, always smiling, & so attentive. 5* service every time I visit, remembers my fussy orders & just smiles & beams with professionalism. We just wanted to thank you for your amazing service & want to say how lucky 3a are to have you. Keep doing what you are doing as it’s the only place of late in the West Midlands I have found such charisma & flare. Can you open a restaurant in Barnt Green please??!! Thank you to all the team for remarkable service & always going that extra mile. COVID safe & would highly recommend to anyone who wants first class service with a smile!

We had a great time last Saturday lunch sat in the garden. 3a have made such a nice outdoor space with heaters and lights. We enjoyed a few good beers with soup and sandwich. Their brownies are to die for!!

We love 3a. We’ve been for breakfast and dinner lots of times and always have a fantastic meal. Our latest visit was Friday 11th December, we shared a loaded hummus and we both had the lamb burger. Superbly cooked by Clare with the freshest ingredients. If you’ve not been to 3a yet you’re missing out!

We had a wonderful evening. The court yard looks amazing, really welcoming and perfect if wrapped up warm on these winter nights. The service was outstanding, food all fantastic and we will be returning again soon. Thank you 3a and Alex.

Great location and lovely atmosphere, met with friends for lunch today and it was perfect for us - we felt totally relaxed hidden away in a little corner. However, bit disappointed by the menu, as it seemed that only two additional options were included for lunch on top of breakfast/brunch options... and more than half and hour after we ordered we told one of these wasn’t available, bit annoying.

3A is, without doubt, our favourite spot, whether it’s brunch, lunch, dinner or drinks - we couldn’t recommend it enough. The staff are absolutely lovely, the food is delicious and vegetarian/ vegan friendly. They’re also very accommodating of my onion allergy. The menu is limited, but not in a bad way, they do a small menu very very well. We’ve brought many friends from further afield to 3A over the last year or so and it’s always gone down a treat. Though not the cheapest bar in Aston fields, the vibe and quality of drinks and food sure makes up for it. The decor is second to none and you’d be missing out if you didn’t stop by! The cocktails are lovingly made and are beautiful. Our meal last night for my fiancés birthday (first after lockdown 2.0) was fabulous, we had an absolute blast and, as previously said, the staff were, as always, diamonds. Thank you so much for providing such a cool spot to come to in Bromsgrove :D

Had a disappointing lukewarm latte, having purchased a few drinks ready for our walk and then heading off meaning that I didn't realise until a few hundred yards away and couldn't face going back to rectify...found a localised bin.

We popped into No.3A for a bit of brunch, we did book but literally about an hour before. We were greeted by Alex who was friendly and super helpful. Their Covid-19 protocols were brilliant and made us feel safe. We had two coffee's each and a brunch item each- everything was delicious (and filling). Alex was an excellent server throughout, we loved this place and will definitely be coming back soon.

Having lived in Bromsgrove for 3 years I could not believe I only just discovered 3a. Wow! The coffee is best I’ve had in years (I’m from NZ originally and it’s been hard to find coffee like home but this aced it today!). The food was so tasty (superfood brioche) and nice set up inside (big wooden tables, cool lightening). The staff was awesome and Alex was really friendly and suited the vibe (and knew how we kiwis love coffee). Overall, the best cafe experience in a longgg time - will definitely be back and recommending highly :)

Love no3a! I haven’t been able to find a coffee shop that is the right level of chill mixed with the yummiest food and actually has good coffee outside of Birimingham city centre! So it is a must! I have heard the outdoor / night events are great too. Also LOVE YOUR HUSKEE cups & would recommend the steak sandwich.

Good here is just lovely.It’s an arty and unusual menu; they are ALWAYS accommodating & happy and smiling to do substitutions (I am gluten and diary intolerant).Often, as COVID, at the moment their staff is lower; near with them, it’s so worth the wait.Outside tables are just so lovely; heaters all available.Some of the plates they serve on are to die for!!! My friends had a normal breakfast (meat) and they all same on the most amazing willow pattern ginormous rectangular-with-corners-off plates... just amazingly beautiful and SO creatively thought out; all the meals are so creatively put together. Cocktails fabulous, and seem to be served all times of day; yes, I am guilty of toasting a loved-one with a cocktail prior to midday ;-) felt right at the time :-) I wish I could remember my most favourite amazing chap who always serves me; SO sorry your name escapes me whilst I write; his un-swayed amazingness even when COVID-related super over-worked, he consistently comes up an absolute trooper always with a kindly work and quick hello whilst on the move.Simply superb and In my mind anyhow!!! Hands down best relaxed .. beautifully done ‘arty’ eatery around.

Visited 3a for breakfast, this is the 3rd time we have been and each time it's been great,with a good choice from a full English to something a little bit different. Will definitely be going again. Friendly staff and a great atmosphere.

Aston Fields Bromsgrove just gets better and better, 3a are taking eating out to a new level. Fantastic evening with fantastic Greek style nenu and an awesome atmosphere. Great value for money too...

We have visited this coffee shop a few times, both recently when the eat out offer was on and on a Saturday in September. The staff were fabulous, it was busy and we had a pushchair but they were very accommodating. I would highly recommend to others. The only suggestion I would make is some more healthier options on the menu.

I amongst many others love coming to 3a, the vibe and the food is always 10/10... everyone that works there is super friendly, and match the very cool, edgy, chic look this venue has. The food, deserves some serious recognition. I would always go for the burrito but honestly, everything is sooo tasty!! I’m always extremely impressed! I will continue to go to 3a whenever I’m in the area. Great vibe, great food, can’t fault it.

I started using 3a during lockdown when the delivery service and hampers were been made. Today I finally went into the shop for the first time after lockdown has been lifted and OMG it was amazing! My partner and I had an amazing brunch- so much food and such good quality too. We met the owner/chef Claire who was so welcoming to us and could remember speaking to me on the phone in lockdown which I thought was a really nice touch.Can’t wait to come back soon!!

We have been quite a few time’s and even though the food has always been top notch, the service is hit and miss. During Eat our To Help Out you expect places to be busy but that’s no excuse for getting as many tables in as possible knowing there no way your staff can manage. Waited 45 minutes for a drink and 1 hour 40 for food. Waiters were excellent but obviously stressed and totally run off their feet - next tables arriving before previous tables had got their food. Also, very few COVID safety measures except sanitiser and tracking. Tables were all close together, food served as normal, no masks, little distancing. Lots of similar comments RS about poor customer service which is a real shame as the food and cocktails are great.

I’m a local and been a number of times, trying to support local independent businesses, every other time has been ok but after today’s visit I won’t be going back. It was the last day of eat out to help out, we saw on their social media site that they were advertising tables so we booked one inside. When we arrived we had to wait outside for a while, but that was ok. We were then showed to our table outside, with no comment about the change in venue. We then ordered food and drink on the App, after 20 minutes we were told that the items we ordered were not available and a list of other items not available, so we reordered of a very limited menu. Drinks had still not showed up, finally after 40 mins of sitting down, mine and my husbands bottle of beers came, when I asked about my girls apple juice they informed me they had to go out and get some, they then showed up in tall glasses (I am doubtful that it was the Expensive apple juice I ordered as didn’t come in the original bottles - I presume it was just co-op apple juice that I paid way over the odds for). Anyway the food... took another 45 mins to show up... So we’re nearly sat for 1hr 30 before food showed up. THEN... my order was an halloumi sandwich, however when it turned up no halloumi. When I questioned this, ‘that doesn’t come with halloumi’... showed waitress menu ... ‘oh yes it doesn’t come with halloumi today!’. The waiter and waitress were very apologetic, however no offer of anything for disaster the meal was. I returned my meal but nothing offered for the rest of the tables meal who waited so long for food. Talking of the rest of my families meal... it was pretty substandard. I like the whole branding of the cafe... very trendy and I accept the over priced meals and drinks for that reason, however that does not excuse the terrible service! What a shame... looking at reviews they really need to look inwards and sort this out or customers will go elsewhere as luckily bromsgrove and even Aston fields are not short of independent chains which I would rather have my cash.

Could be nice, if it wasn’t for the long wait on food and the owner lounging around taking up space. It looks really unprofessional, especially when everyone else seems to be running around.

My wife and I went for dinner here tonight and we had a lovely time. We’ve always liked this cafe/bistro for its rustic charm. The food was lovely, friendly staff, service was good and just a lovely meal out. The only negative for me is that I wear a hearing aid and acoustically I struggled with the background noise/echoes. Highly recommend.

We are regulars and locals. Using this lovely little business since it opened 4 years ago. The coffee is awesome and the bagels are top notch BUT the male owner who now calls us “mate” I have recently spotted shouting at his young Female staff in the street. The young girls (and the few males) that have served us over the years are always pleasant and professional. The female owner looks exhausted and rarely smiles. My worry is that If he has the audacity to shout at these girls who manage his shop for him in the street then what is he like behind closed doors. I urge everyone in Astonfields to think twice before putting money in this guys pocket. Me and my family won’t be visiting again! It was really upsetting to watch

It’s a nice place the foods nice but be prepared to wait and pay over the odds, expensive for the area. If you’re in a hurry don’t bother, the staff are friendly and attentive but omg the owner is the rudest, most miserable women I’ve ever come across, it’s like she’s doing you a big favour to serve you, her partner is the total opposite goes out of his way to welcome you. Don’t feel like giving my money over to someone who acts like you’re in the way, not welcome and a face to turn the milk sour, won’t be going back.

Our party sat down for a drink after having a meal in a nearby restaurant. A waitress (possibly the owner?) came out to our table and shouted at us for not signing in and for sitting at a reserved table. We tried to explain that no one had informed us that we needed to sign in and that each restaurant/ shop/ establishment has its own rules to follow, however she continued to actually shout at us. We also pointed out that there was no reserved sign on the table that we sat at so how could we possibly know not to sit there. As nurses, our group is used to people shouting at us, however we don’t expect to be shouted at for simply sitting down in a cafe/ bar. We do understand how COVID has been different, but it’s not an excuse to be so very rude. We apologised to our guests and walked out.I would not recommend, unfortunately.

No 3a has a welcoming friendly atmosphere. The staff always have a smile on their faces and are very attentive. The owners Gavin & Claire go out of their way to make sure everything is fine wether you are just having a coffee on the go or having a private party. The food is excellent ranging from healthy vegetarian and vegan to incredibly tasting sausages, bacon, salmon plus American inspired loaded bagels and the recently added Greek evening menu.Small touches such as the staff all wearing the 3a logo t-shirts shows a professional approach which is again is noted in the running of the business. With the recent covid issues 3a have taken it in their stride first with take aways and now with an organised booking in system. I noted (though this must be said the staff did this before covid ) that every table was cleaned impeccably before and after being used. Independent restaurants and coffee shops like 3a are showing their might over chain stores recently and this is purely because they make you feel not only part of the experience but part of the family.

Having had very good service indeed with a delivery from No. 3a last week, we ordered a greek meal for collection via the website. The collection time booked at 4.30pm was 7.00pm - one of several slots available. An hour later, I received a text saying the collection time would be 8.00pm - no explanation but, ok, they are busy and popular. When I arrived to collect at just before 8, I was told there would be another 15 to 20 minutes wait... No text received in the interim. When I returned 15 minutes later, I was told I had another 10 minutes to wait. When the food was finally ready, I pointed out the lack of communication and received a half-hearted apology. As I left, the owner muttered "a******e" to his daughter, who was helping front of house. As I pointed out to him, if he has something to say, at least he should have the courage to say it out loud and face to face. And the food? Mediocre sums it up. So if you want a hearty portion of slightly greasy take-away with an ample side order of insult, this is the place for you. It was a good coffee shop before lock-down but sadly it doesn't now seem to be able to cope...

A friend recommended the take-away jerk chicken from here so we thought we’d give it a try. We were not disappointed! It comes with rice and fresh veg and there was plenty of meat on the chicken. Could have maybe been a bit more spicy for the adults, so this could potentially be an option? Mild or spicy when ordering.The star of the show however was the fries and the curry sauce, best curry sauce we’ve ever had and the topping on the fries was to die for. Really reasonably priced too. Will definitely be reordering!!

Great welcome from Sam and lovely chilled atmosphere. Delicious lunch washed down with a couple of very tasty glasses of wine. What more could you ask for??!! Will definitely be going again, in fact we have tickets to their comedy night tomorrow. Thanks for your great hospitality, looking forward to to seeing you tomorrow

On reflection I feel very disappointed and let down that nine people booked into this event. We all paid ten pound each and were unable to get a seat or even hang our coats anywhere. In the end had a drink outside. About nine we all left after hearing only one northern soul record. Oh by the way, thanks for the chips we didn’t have. Massively over rate for a night venue.

When the bar is full and you have a loud bellowing northern voice, there is no problem. When the bar empties, and for some reason the bar manager takes issue with your same 'loud bellowing northern' voice and asks you to be quiet (when the bar is almost empty) not so good. only visit if you can garuntee not to laugh too loud, not to talk too loud and not to question the manager on anything ‍♀️otherwise the staff (bar the manager), the food and the drinks are great. x

Was in Bromsgrove seeing friends for the weekend and popped in for a few beers and something to eat.The place had a great atmosphere and the food was delicious (10 out of 10 chicken wings). All the staff were lovely, especially Holly who served us and bought our food over with a smile and good banter. Will definitely be back!

In a time where we all aim to support local businesses - 3a really need to address their customer service. Whilst at a private function , where a lot of money was spent, the way the owner/manager dealt with a relatively small issue was incredibly poor, a problem which could have been rectified instantly. Looking back on this site the reviews are really good but with the exception of the repeating customer service issues which surely should flag that there is an ongoing problem. Such a shame as it really spoilt a lovely evening in an attractive venue with great food ...

A 65 year old man buys a £50 round a pint in that round for him is lousy and no not to his taste.... he asks politely if he can swop it and is told no tough! When the family that had already spent a lot of money in the bar asked the manger if she believed this was good customer service she was aggressive, rude and disrespectful. 3a from that point lost all my custom for the evening and ever again!!!

Have been to 3a on a number of occasions and never been disappointed. The place feels much more open and inviting since they expanded and it's a lovely space to go and meet with friends for a coffee (or something stronger!) Customer service is excellent. In particular, Holly is a gem. Always smiley and helpful if you're in need of food or drink recommendations.

We’re always served with a smile from the friendly young staff. Coffee is excellent and the food is unusual, tasty and beautifully presented. Altogether a consistently first class experience.

I often pop into 3a as I frequently work from home but prefer to be somewhere with a little atmosphere. It’s a great place to work and I’ve even found myself chatting to others doing the same - some morning networking with a coffee and a bagel on the side, what’s not to love?!

Fantastic little place, relaxed atmosphere serving great food. The sausage sandwich is a particular favourite.

Been using this coffee shop for the last few years, it’s a great place to meet friends for coffee and a nice working environment away from any office or home. The owners are friendly and will chat to you, the selection of food and drink is great too, I suggest the Soho bagel! Sam and the other staff are lovely and always seem happy to help with any coffee needs.

Yes this is a regular haunt of mine, for good reason, staff are always happy and helpful, the quality of the coffee and food is outstanding, the cakes and doughnuts are out of the world, as the day draws on this quaint cafe becomes a hub of activity from comedy nights to live music, all assisted by the draft beer and quality wine it up Gav, Claire, Sam, beck, jess and Chloe and the rest of the team

I went for a coffee while walking the dog, I had a very good flat white, gizmo had some water. I had a sausage sandwich, which was more than amazing! Gizmo had some as I couldn’t eat it all, then I was told by the lovely staff, that they had DJ playing that night... so I came back that night and had a wicked night drinking Totally amazing gin cocktails and dancing to superb tunes. Yes gizmo came to. 5 stars guys nice one! Brilliant time.

As well as offering a lovely velvety latte (and, I've discovered, an awesome vegan version) this place sells the most wonderful food! I've enjoyed various meals, prepared and presented with tasty flavour and colour combinations. I've not had a bad bit of food yet from there...

I used to visit here when it very first opened and when there were only a few tables. It was quaint, friendly, quirky, the owners would take the time to chat to you etc... I've always championed this coffee shop but I went in very recently and have got to say it was disappointing. Young lady front of house was friendly, the female owner however treats you like you're putting her out when you ask for something. The menu is too expensive for what it is, it was that cold in the main room a few of us didn't down coats! The toilet was dirty, floor filthy and we were there early morning. It's a real shame. This place was a little gem 18 months ago, now it's an unfriendly, cold place to visit for a cup of coffee. Wouldn't recommend.

Live on the same road and would use more often as I work from home but the prices are the same if not more than London when I'm away. For example 2 coffees and 2 cakes nearly £15.

I think they have forgotten that the customer comes first! Too rude. Too slow. Far too much negative attitude. Better service from a burger van in a lay by.

When 3a first opened it was cramped but fast and friendly if not cheap. Now it's dreadful. Poor service, dismissive attitude. Waited far too long for a below average soup and rarebit and didn't have time to finish it despite checking with the staff and owner before ordering if there was enough time. Quite insulting attitude. Will not be returning and wouldn't recommend it to anyone as I used to do. Not sure what's going on but I can see where it's going.

Warm welcome but food did take an awfully long time to arrive today. Have been her for business meetings in the week and have had no problems. Today we were waiting over half an hour for a sausage sandwich and avocado in a bagel. May stock to coffees next time.

I have visited here several times, and whilst the drinks are really nice I find the staff unwelcoming and customer service lacking. I haven’t eaten here as think the food menu is overpriced. Interior is great and this really could be an amazing little place, however they really need to work on their customer service and make ALL customers feel welcome. On my most recent visit last month I struggled through the door with a pushchair and not one member of staff came to help me, instead they just stood and watched me struggle. It feels very much like if you are considered a “friend” or a regular then you’re ok, but anyone else then they don’t really want to know you. With other bars opening in the local area I think I will avoid 3a moving forward.

Quirky bar with lovely outside area, strung with bright fairy lights. Breakfast bagels are excellent, worth their price. Drinks in the evening and very strong, little steep, but paying more for the atmosphere.

Come here few times a week for the lovely coffee,always served with a smile,nice and clean and always fairly busy,been past at night and it’s always very busy,hoping to visit for a tasty meal.

Went with a group of friends for an evening out in Bromsgrove. We were told this was the new up and coming area and 3a looked great on the outside. The decor within didn’t disappoint but then trying to get served was painful. It wasn’t that they were busy, there was just a few locals and they were treating it like a little private party rather than a business. In the end I had to speak up and complain about the clique. It was met with blank stares and just ignored. No apology that I’d waited 25 mins in an empty bar to get someone to acknowledge me? I assume they then sent out to South Africa for the wine as it took so long to come. Wouldn’t prepare the drinks while you stood there but waited until you’d gone so they could teach you a lesson. The place is run like Fawlty Towers. Avoid avoid avoid. I’m guessing as most of the positive reviews are on here from local Bromsgrove people, then they’re biased or incentivised reviews. If you want to compete for our business show some service and gratitude. Even the owner sneered at us. You clearly don’t have a clue outside of your little bubble. Waste of an evening.

Really good cup of tea in a cafe around the corner from train station in Bromsgrove. Breakfast was also good. Nice garden at the back. Fashionable interior.

Went to a birthday party. This was a lovely relaxing place with a hidden back yard which was a great sun trap.

Myself and a group of others come here almost every Saturday and Sunday morning. The food is always lovely, portions are good, presentation is great and its tasty. The coffee is also lovely an they have a good selection of cakes and drinks. We acknowledge the food is a little pricey but because it is good and the surroundings are lovely we do not mind.

We were in Bromsgrove for a couple of days and we found this little gem by chance. The decor is quirky and fun, the menu was limited but what we had was delicious. The staff were lovely and we really enjoyed our visit.

I have been here a few times before and have always thought it was pricey. More recently I went for brunch whilst my car was being MOT'ed. I ordered a plain buttered bagel for £3(!), as I had to wait for the car I decided might as well pay this silly price. I didn't finish the bagel as it as it was stale and unpalatable. I can't help feeling the owners have taken their eye off the ball in letting the younger staff take the day to day reins. Standards have slipped, No 3A could do with the attention it had when the business was first set up. A note on the seating, there was only one table I could comfortably sit at and that was the one already occupied by the window. All the other tables to sit at are too high for the chairs and, unless you are a giant, come up to your armpits! I can't help thinking the eclectic tables and chairs were bought without much consideration for suitability.

I took my family for breakfast last Saturday. It is such a quirky, friendly little place in Aston Fields, just around the corner from the station. There was a great choice for breakfast. The Turkish eggs and bacon and Brie bagel were absolutely beautiful, really tasty, good size portions and great presentation.

We regularly visited 3a once/twice a week as we are local and enjoyed the coffee and expanding breakfast menu.

Just back from an amazing breakfast at a 3A, Turkish eggs , excellent quality , friendly service, great surroundings whats not to love, will certainly be back !

My wife and I with some friends went to 3A on a Friday to have a drink and listen to live music. We had a fabulous evening due to the relaxed friendly atmosphere, excellent staff and super drinks. Will return again soon.

Just visited, advertised coffee and gin !! Can't have coffee as it's too quiet !!!! No diet drinks either so as nominated driver I sat and watched my friends have a drink whilst there was nothing for me . Would never go back , quite pricy too and empty ! Avoid !!

Been going here for around 12 months now and it is lovely to have such a unique entity in the village. Always friendly service and top quality!

Popped in as had some time to kill and it was raining. Surprisingly nice coffee shop, feels very homely and not corporate.

I write this having visited 3 times this month and each time was much the same. The girls front of house were welcoming but service slow as they were also prepping food.

Living locally I have been here a number of times. Whilst the food and coffee is good, but overpriced, I find the atmosphere unwelcoming at times. It seems to be hit and miss whether the owners are friendly or not to each customer. The male owner was sprawled all over the ‘comfy’ seating being incredibly friendly and lovely to his friends and regulars whilst grunting and ignoring any customer who doesn’t fall into this category. Rather than being in a coffee shop I felt I was intruding into someone’s front room. As previous reviews have stated I really like this place but the attitude of the owner at times is incredibly disappointing.

Been plenty of times before but came for a 30th birthday event. Food was excellent and staff were really flexible with timings etc. Will obviously come back

Having lived in Aston Fields for many years we were really pleased to have a trendy cafe/bar opening on our door step. We have been for breakfast/brunch loads of times and we absolutely love it. So when i decided to take friends with me for a few drinks on a Friday night i was totally shocked and quite embarrassed by the utter rudeness of the owners, in particular the female owner. As a group we spent around £200 that evening and the way we were treated at the end of the evening was like nothing i'd ever experienced before. We are a group of 40 yr old parents, not a group of rowdy youths and yet we was treated like dirt. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY by entering this place - you will receive a much better service from the Ladybird next door or Fuso. We will certainly not be returning and i will ensure we let our friends and neighbours know to stear clear! From a very disappointed Aston Fields Resident!

Having previously had a fantastic bagel breakfast here, went for their Pie and Pint evening. What a treat - simply heavenly! Really friendly staff, great relaxing venue. Highly recommended!

Rude and unwelcoming owners. Over prices without the service with a smile! Quite simply will never go there again ! That’s for sure !

The woman on the till (the owners girlfriend I believe) was extremely abrupt & clearly lacked any basic customer service skills, just about managing to muster up a grunt of acknowledgement when we placed our order.

I ate here twice recently and on both occasions was impressed with the food.

The first time I went there I ordered a cappuccino made with soya milk as I am dairy intolerant. When it came, I again asked 'is this made with soya milk?' The girl serving me said yes. After a few gulps I realised it did not taste normal and so took it back, at which point I was told it was not in fact made with soya milk. Good job I didn't have an allergy hey!

Went for a nice coffee and lunch. The girl who served us on the till was lovely. However we sat at the table and I’m not sure wether she was the owner or what tried to get past us. She said excuse me but then proceeded to shout “I’m trying to get through, excuse me” very very very rude. She then slammed our food down and walked off rolling her eyes. We asked for sauce and she snapped. Such a shame as lovely venue and food was nice. Just cannot talk to people the way she spoke to us. I was appalled.

High prices and a rude member of staff. Flapjack was quite nice but not worth the pruce. Will not be going again!

Came here for evening drinks. The decor is cool and fresh and oozes cosiness - great for cocktails with friends. The cocktail list is quite small but we pretty much tried them all and they were all fantastic and served beautifully. Great service too!
