Very nice view, fabulous food, superb service and perfect prices. What's not to like at this restaurant? If it were my choice, I could happily eat here every week. Eleven of us for lunch and we all enjoyed it immensely.

Amazing Sunday lunch, lovely service and very reasonably priced. With views over the golf course you would not think you’re in the middle of town. A lovely place to eat and relax

We went for a 3 course Sunday lunch £21 ,you can have other food of your choice. Nice spacious bright dinning area in the golf club. I thought you could only use if a club member but this has changed ,so a lovely local place to visit, for locals to use. Drinks you buy at the bar good prices £5.75 for large glass wine good value. So it has open kitchen ,and run buy a lovely family. We all chose cheese choritzo balls side salad Different but very tasty.for starters . Then 2 off us had pork and 1 lamb a lovely selection of vegetables all fresh not frozen and home made Yorkshire and a nice piece crackling. My son had sticky toffee pudding and custard he loved. But me and my friend asked if any Different deserts had 4 plus cheese biscuits. But we was quiet full from dinner. They offered to do us strawberries and ice cream and cream. They Went down perfect . Thankyou for a lovely lunch we will return Tina

Booked and paid a £30 deposit for lunch on Easter Sunday only to turn up to find the restaurant closed with a closed until further notice sign on the door. No message from them to inform us. DO Not Book with this restaurant wherever they are now.

This is the worst Sri Lanka restaurant I have visited. We were in Herne bay for a holiday with family and after reading the reviews wanted to try some Asian cuisine. I personally like Sri Lankan food and have visited this lovely country twice. The sausages were burnt, the bacon charred, chicken was overcooked and appeared shredded, some parts were cold, the curry tasted stale and I felt sick after eating 10% of the dish Spoke to the owner and he thought that the food was prepared the right way. I have a feeling that the food is prepared elsewhere and is warmed in the restaurant and served. It was a bad experience after having a good time in Herne bay, Avoid this restaurant and please post some honest reviews after your visit

Had a quick visit to Herne Bay and so glad we chose this friendly place for our lunch. The home made quiche and steak and kidney pie were delicious (I even got to have a jug of gravy for my chips). The sunday roasts looked fabulous, just about to devour home made rice pudding and jam (evoking fond childhood memories). Will certainly come again if we’re ever this way, just try it, you will get a lovely warm welcome and won’t be disappointed :)
