I'm quite satisfied, about the food was fresh and warm, my beef steak was delicious and cooked very well. Just about of selection pudding was poor, but I hope the next time I can found all the best selection even during dinner.

I found this very disappointing today. The choice of buffet was limited. Not all the stations were open and the food on offer (lots of fried food, Thai, Chinese, indian and pizza) was pretty unappealing. It's only good value in my opinion if you feel like you are getting something decent for the amount you pay but I didn't enjoy the food, none of it was very nice so I wish I'd spent my £60 elsewhere. The quantity aspect shouldn't make up for the quality. Also, the toilets smelt really strongly of urine and handles were broken off etc. I won't be going back I'm afraid.

It is okay but not worth the money seems like most things are frozen the food is very pale also ice cream was the best part hopefully its better for you guys!

There are a lot of non-British meals. It is the best homesick restaurant for residents or long-term travel, and it is great value for money! Definitely recommended! In addition, don’t set a hometown flavor that completely matches your own, because everyone’s hometown flavor will definitely be different to some extent ~ But...it relieves nostalgia!

Very busy lunch time Sunday. Missed the larger choice of the evening and no Sunday roast. Strangely had Yorkshire pudding. Food we did have was nice though albeit mainly Asian, but no Sushi. The chocolate fountain and ice cream wasn't on either so puddings quite poor.

2nd time here and totally disappointed. Food was cold. Before coming here it said not all food stations may be open. Well ony the pizza station was open. To a great degree I felt totally conned. Spoke to the Lady at reception about it. She really did seem at all concerned about any comments I made reference the quality or food at all. Definitely would not recommend or visit again.

The buffet is supposed to close at 10, yet this evening closed at 9:30. We arrived at 8, nothing had been restocked and we were told that was it for the evening. Shouted at by a waitress for trying to get a glass of water using glasses they had on the counter and not offered other drinks. Half a selection of cold food, greasy over fried pieces of chicken, and no desserts to be seen. Absolutely terrible and not worth the insane £24 price tag.

Shredded pork was very dry like eating sawdust ,pancakes thin and split easy, Everything else was good ,price good too clean plates taken away as soon as we were finished..

Food was delicious. Not that hot but it was very tasty. Desserts were delicious and well presented. Never been here before but my friend has been a couple of times. I loved that there was so much to choose from. Definitely recommend going. I would definitely go again.

Having eaten in here before an appointment at the local hospital. Food was cold and not very appealing. Myself and partner ate a few dishes. When we got back into the car and started driving to the hospital I become very sick and had severe stomach ache. My partner then became sick. When we got to the hospital for my appointment. The doctor stated that I was very pale. I explained I had been sick. He took blood tests then advised. I had infact got food poisoning. Which would have been attributed to the food we had just eaten. I have emailed the restaurant to advise if this. And guess what no response. We’ll most certainly never be going here again.

Visited on Saturday as daughter wanted to come here. We didn't have a booking and due to them closing we only had around 45 minutes. Plenty of choices but they started to remove the food from the heaters around 25 minutes before closing

I think that this place is a good buffet to indulge in once in a while. The food is good, but of course the main appeal is the wide range and also the accommodation of so much - it just makes it great.

We checked in at nines Cambridge ( for dinner )and we had 7 people with us, including children. As some people might know eating with children can be a hard process especially with 1 toddler to care for as well. As we finished our food and proceeded onto dessert, the assistant manager approaches us and demands that we leave the table as she needed it for other guest. Taking into consideration that the restaurant was going to close in approximately half an hour we was totally stunned. With out a warning she started clearing the table and taking our plates of us including our drinks. This unfortunately lead us to not finish our deserts. This absolutely shocked us . We trying to explain that and Assistant manager wont do any apologies. She said there is a limited time for the table ( 1 hr and 45 min ) but it’s clearly saying only for busy hours.( she cleaned our table around 8.30 pm ) But she didn’t understand. This day was meant to be a nice surprise for me as it was farther a day but turned out quite the opposite. I would like to say thanks for the manager as he did understand and he apologies about that . Please don’t treat to the people like that as they come to have a nice time , specially spent lots money( per person 25 pound + extra money for drinks ) .Definitely we wont go anymore and not recommend go to this place . There is many deference food trays you can see ( very nice display ) .But the food you can’t feel different taste. All the food taste bit same .8.30 pm they start the cleaning process ( while people eating) and you can have only few deserts at this time . Finally Our feel like we spent 154 pound for nothing . It’s much much Better to order the Chinese takeaway instead of eating this food .

Around 18:00 on 16/06/24- women was rude, told us it was a 20 minute wait, completely forgot she served us. Was even ruder when we reminded her we were waiting while she was letting everyone in who arrived after us, because she forgot about service us she told us another 20 minutes. Was giving us looks for most of our meal once she realised her mistake and when we corrected her on her tone and how she was speaking to us she soon put her head down. Don't put miserable people on front of house, especially if they can't manage or handle it.

Great all you can eat costs £80 for 2adults 2 kids weekday evening. Bit expensive but lovely food. The staff hover you to take plates and it’s annoying other than that it was good.

Food is good but when paying to get in is atrocious came with two children of the age of 1 and being told they cant have anything to eat unless payed for which is an additional £10 on top of what your paying never coming here again and wont be bring my child again

It is one of the best places that I have been to when it comes to very good meals. The option of the buffet was the bomb (sic). From the starter to the main courses and desserts, you have so much to choose from. It's worth my visit, especially as a family eat out option. I'll be back!

We were in the area visiting somewhere local to this restaurant for the day and never been before. It was my husbands birthday and we visited this restaurant. I found the staff rather abrupt and unfriendly, the food really was not pleasant. There are notices mentioning about food wastage and charging £5 per plate that isn’t eaten however the food on offer is very hard, cold and inedible. Lids kept open exposing the food to flies and reducing its tempature. On a plus side there is a lot of different foods on offer and live stations, just not to a great standard. I did also see a member of staff going round cleaning the food that had been spilled and they seemed to tidy plates away quickly. Overall It was not good value for money and found it expensive for our Children under 8, over £80 for two adults and two children under 8. It was busy but the atmosphere wasn’t great, tables so close to each other can hear each others conversation. sadly would not visit again nor recommend.

I always love to eat here. We come for special occasions, date nights and all sorts. Great food selection.

Disappointing. We went for lunch on a bank holiday Monday. The website says "Please note that not all live cooking stations are open for lunch, and the dishes available may vary." However, *none* of the live cooking stations were open - no seafood, no roast, no sushi, no teppanyaki, no paella, no dim sum, no chocolate fountain. There were a couple of pizzas being cooked (about one every half an hour) Basically it was just an expensive Chinese lunch buffet. The food available wasn't bad, but massively overpriced given everything else was closed. Can't see us going back any time soon.

Food is really good, especially for the price. Could have a better selection on desserts but not a big deal. Staff are on it and I've never seen anything run out or be empty. They pick up plates at a good pace and nothing really to complain about.

Lovely place, nice and clean but the food was poor, flavourless, dried out, was not an enjoyable 1st experience after reading all the brilliant reviews ...sweetcorn soup was amazing tho!

Great place to go and grab some lunch or dinner. We were there for lunch and definitely you can find something for everyone. The food selection is great and there is plenty to choose from. For 2 adults and a child, the price was around £45 for the "all you can eat" experience (at the time of writing). Drinks are not included so that will be extra. Overall service was very good, and the table attendants are very helpful and friendly, helping out at clearing the table of any unwanted plates, etc. All in all a wonderful place to dine in and if we will be in the area, most likely we will revisit.

Food is absolutely awful, my wife left her chicken, it stank and was red in the middle, there is a sign by the buffet saying even though the chicken looks red its because of the seasoning they use... no no no, it was uncooked, if she would have eaten it she would have been ill. The salad with aneamic prawns on top looked like it have been there all week. The last time I had steak that bad was about 20 years ago on a stag do in magaluf. Cost me £15 for cheap lemonade and an apple juice poured from a big apple juice box with £1.30 written on it. The sweets looked rank, I didn't even have one. Came for my sons birthday, should have taken him to pizza hut instead

Website shows incorrect opening times. Travelled from a distance on Monday for lunch with my elderly mother for it to be closed for lunch Mondays and Tuesday even though the website states opens at 12-3pm. Very upset after checking the website the previous night when planning my lunch with my mum. Wasted a day off and paid for travel and parking for nothing

Wow, what a restaurant! I will certainly be coming back. Look at all the choice, there is certainly something for everyone at this restaurant. The staff were happy, helpful and attentive.

After going to Nines, multiple times , was very disappointed. The person at the cooking station was absolutely RUDE! We always drive through from Peterborough to go to Nines; but no more ! Other customers at the time witnessed how rude he was Friday 12/4/2024

Arrived was seated straightaway, but felt rushed, table was cleared 3 times including our bottomless drinks while we were getting food. Had to keep asking for our glasses back. Anyone would think they wanted us to leave.

Rather disappointed. The waitress rushed us to our table and left. We didn’t get told about drinks or service. Asked someone in passing who said go to the bar . The food was not bad but not egg allergy friendly. I asked for plain rice but told no. There was vomit in the disabled toilet. So I had to use the main one up some steps. This was decidedly grubby and yes it was 2:30pm . But I expect these facilities to be checked .

Nice place just a little expensive. Too bad the restaurant closes early, not everyone eats at 6 p.m. I had booked for 8 p.m. when we arrived we were told that it closed at 9:30 p.m., whereas on the website it was noted as 10 p.m. At 9 p.m. the desserts started to be picked up. Illogical thing since we end up with that in the first place. And for me the dishes should only be removed once the customers have left. We had to eat quickly which is not pleasant when you want to have a pleasant time.

Found it very expensive for very dry food Everything was just Luke warm and dry , the plates were cold also But the most annoying thing for me , everything was so pepper infused !! Why does almost every dish have to have peppers in? Not everyone likes peppers or are allergic, so was a lot I couldn’t eat and really wanted noodles as they didn’t look dry! Afters ? Well 🤣🤣🤣🤣

You know in advance what you are getting into with these types of concepts: lots of food and a very wide selection, but mediocre quality, lots of people and a noisy environment. It's fun to do in itself, but you have to be there for it.

Mediocre buffet with a variety of options. Nothing looked too appetizing in the fried section, to be honest. The highlights for me were the chicken tikka, roasted duck, Japanese seaweed salad, chicken feet, and prawns (from the grill station). Avoid the sushi and the dumplings, they’re not good at all (this is advice from an Asian, perhaps I’m a little too harsh). The line for the grill station was always long and slow. DO NOT order the steak from there as it is tough and lacking in seasoning. Go for the seafood options instead. The dessert section, especially the cakes, was quite nice. However, the fruits were soggy and horrible.

Don't waste your time and money. It's not worth it. For 26 pounds, all the food was not tasty. Great selection, looks nice, but I left hungry.All the cutlery was dirty, I couldn’t choose clean ones. 08.03.2024

The food is not tasty, the chefs have no experience, I ordered a lamb steak at the grill, I had to throw it away because it was rubber, the tools and plates are terribly dirty, you have to look through them to find them clean, how the hygiene services allow you to work, it's a terrible mess and the price is really magical 25 & without a drink near London is 15 however, it is very different, I would never recommend such a restaurant to anyone

No dim sum despite the advert!!!!!!

Really disappointed this time! Usually one of my favourites to visit after a cinema trip but its really gone downhill. Its good for kids if they just want the standard chicken nuggets, pizza and chips! Egg fried rice didn't show up for ages - seaweed this time for some reason was very lackluster and not salted properly, no pepper chicken, a lot of the standard Asian dishes just missing, and we were one of the first people in! No myriad of desserts, just soft serve, jelly cubes and not the usual array of tiny cakes! Big cake slice was awful powdery. The expense too is getting silly, I've been coming here since I was at college, a long time ago! And it's just gotten more expensive, £50 for 2 on a Friday evening is very steep, especially for the quality, this isn't fine dining. The bar staff make excellent cocktails, one of the good points.

Food was fresh and delicious, great variety which is what you want at a buffet. All the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. 1 star knocked off because they charge the same price for a 90cm child (roughly 2.5 years old) as a 140cm child (roughly 10+ years old).

Disappointing Experience with Rude Staff I recently visited this restaurant and unfortunately, I had a disappointing experience. The rudeness displayed by the staff members left a lasting negative impression. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a complete lack of hospitality. Lovely food loads to choose from cleanest buffet I've ever been to good value for money

I had booked a table for my Birthday, On the 2nd of Jan afternoon, most live counters were not open for lunch and many items like the crab claw was over ... would recommend to go by 12 if going for lunch.

Don't really know where to start the food was awful rhe service was even worse I complained to her about the rice how hard it was she just shrugged her shoulders and walk off I ask another who in charge of food as there's was empty tray he said someone in the kitchen that was that it seem the managers don't care no wonder their so many bad reviews lots of training need doing start with the management work your way down please people don't waste your money absolutely horrendous will never go back until vast improvements are done

Sorry, I’ve been in several buffet restaurants in the UK, but this is nothing especial. The food taste is not really that great I think it’s below average. In terms of service I think it’s not too bad they always pick up your old utensils and plate to keep the table clean and tidy. On the negative side they have a lady receptionist who speaks very bad English who struggles what she would like to articulate. Poor girl she should not be assigned in the front end. I don’t think will come back soon.

There are range of food options. But I can guarantee that you wont find one that is not dripping in oil. They deep fry everything in same oil and put some sauce on them. Very lazy way to serve a buffet. Worst buffet ever. And unfortunately cambridge has only one like this. Waste of time and money. I will never ever go there again.

Not as much of a spread in the afternoon as it is evening but cost the same? Food was average but not much GF options. Not in a rush to go back.

Birthday celebration for my brothers birthday and it was OK not brilliant but company was.

We really enjoyed our dinner. There was a wide variety of food and all of it was delicious ! I recommend it without doubt and you will definitely not regret visiting it.

Went for lunch and the food was good, but be advised there is no sushi or dim sum for lunch. My only concern is that I went with a group of 15 people and they refused to let someone in who wasn't going to eat.

First up, its worth saying that here's loads of food. Tons of it everywhere. Trouble is, most of it tastes like crap. They've taken different cuisines from all over the world and succeeded in making them all taste like dog poo. Make no mistake, this place is massively overpriced. Spent over £100 on five plates of stodgy, gluten heavy crap. 1 star for the little puddings though.

Food much better than experienced before. Started this time at fresh pizza yummy !! Very crunchy base and tasty toppings. Ran out of paella so saved for another visit through the counters. Cooked large prawns amazing. Other dishes like seaweed and noodles seemed quite salty. The portioned duck careful as has bones, very tasty. Pork pieces very tender. So many options to chose from. Including desserts. Cant wait to visit again soon. Thank you.

I was there first with my colleagues and then I came back with my family and I had good time in both occasions. I think it's a perfect place to have a relaxed meal with a bunch of friends or with your familly. Our young kids enjoyeb it a lot as well. There is a huge variety of food and everyone will find something to their taste. There is a large choice of desert too. I highly recommend.

Buzzing atmosphere and nice food

Charging based on height is a ridiculous way to charge. Arrived with my 3 children 10, 8 and 2. Very rude lady on front desk. Rude staff on floor. Bloke with broken English, wouldn't give my 2 year old a balloon!! (Because he said "then eveyone will want one") Lady who took our drinks order was lovely and explained how we could pay for the unlimited drinks (as the PERSON ON THE FRONT DESK WAS LITERALLY NO HELP, SO RUDE) FOOD was great, just needs better staff. Wish they would advise online "children not welcome" WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE WITH CHILDREN. FOR THE PRICE I WOULD EXPECT BETTER! VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!

I don't think it lives up to being a global buffet as advertised, as many of the dishes taste identical. I'm feeling unwell after having lunch here, yet I can't attribute it directly to the food in this restaurant because I'm not sure whether it's also due to the hot chocolate I had before lunch. I'm giving it a one-star rating mainly due to its misleading advertisements and the unwelcoming staff.

Disability Toliet is dirty and the food is ok and drinks are fine

The worst lunch I have ever had. I had gone for lunch with my fiancé for a date right before we get married and we ended up spending near enough £40. It was the worse food I have ever had in my life. The cups were fully dirty. Plates were soaking wet not even dried. The food was god awful. For the money we both agreed to never EVER go back. We could have had a takeaway that would taste 1000 times better. What makes it worse my fiancé is an American. Just ruined his experience taking him there for representation of Chinese food in the uk. This place needs to be shut up. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! Close down this place.

To be fair, I wasn't expecting a lot as my experience of this kind of buffet is that the food quality and taste suffers for the amount of different food available. However, I was pleasantly surprised! The food I had which was mostly Chinese was tasty and hot and I did go back for seconds. Good choice of puddings too with some lovely Ice cream . It's a little pricey but when you take into account you actually can have three courses it really isn't bad at all.

There was a range of food options to choose from, different types of intercontinental dishes that are quite tasty too. I ate to my fill within the space of 1hr 45mins that the buffet lasted for. The atmosphere is conducive for a couple, family or a team hangout. I'd recommend it!

We're well used to buffet restaurants and so feel able to judge Nines. Firstly, it's unusual to pay on entry, not unknown, but unusual - it makes you wonder why. No worries, it's just the way they work. Pay for drinks when ordering as well. The range of food was good, sushi, good range of starters and Chinese mains, a couple of Indian mains as well. The tepanyaku and bbq grills were good, I had lamb steaks and calamari - both good. Good range of small deserts and a soft ice cream machine plus the usual chocolate fountain. Staff were all good, plates cleared very quickly, maybe a bit too quickly, but better that than being ignored. Some of the food could be warmer, but that's fairly normal for buffets. All in all s good night, will definately return 😋😋😋

A broad selection of meals from around the world are on offer, however the selection is better for the dinner menu rather than lunch. The food is average, but with the kids able to help themselves and choose what they want, makes it worth while going.

I was there to celebrate my Birthday recently with 3 guests and was told that my meal is not free of charge as this offer applies on bookings over 5 persons only. Fair enough but same chain buffet in London offered a free Birthday meal to same size booking for my friends. Not sure why there are different conditions in different locations. It could be the case of course but left unpleasant impression to be honest. Food is good though, fresh and tasty.

We did not go there with much expectations as I had bad experiences with other buffets before but the place is amazing! They had a lot of options for the adults and kids. They have a big variety of food so even if you are a picky eater you should find something that you enjoy there. Sad I didn't try the grill but will be back for sure!.

Lots of different types of food from Chinese, Indian, pizza, fish, desserts etc. It's a buffet so you will find plenty available. The quality of the food isn't great though, bury it's acceptable for a buffet. There's a multi storey car park nearby as well as an IMAX, bowling, and other convenient shops. Street parking is available but not guaranteed and you now have to pay during the day.
