Nicolas Cupcake Cafe in Fife

My first coffee out for 18 months. Boy did i land lucky, superb Rocky Road cake, excellent service, clean and fresh establishment. Will be back to try some of the other cake offerings.

Called in for a coffee but got tempted by a side of rocky road, which was VERY nice and good value. There was a good range of homemade cakes which all looked really good.

We went for lunch today & were so impressed with the food and service! Lovely place & they managed the Covid guidelines in a way that made it feel really safe but didn’t take away the friendliness. We will be back as we were too full to try the cakes

Visited this cafe on a cold, snowy Saturday. It was freezing in the cafe and no heating! A male worker in the cafe turned off the only mini heater with no explanation. Pure ignorance! My wife and I had a toasty and soup which was lukewarm. I will never visit this poor establishment again and I advise you not to.

Heard about Nicolas cupcake short on tripadvisor, was looking for something close to Kinghorn. Ticked all the boxes, cleanliness,quality, price and qty.Especially the fab cakes. Will definitely be back.

Had an amazing selection of cakes and scones and sandwiches together with tea / juice. Have since been back for breakfast rolls and no trip would be complete without taking home cake

We are vegan so it can be hard getting good meals in smaller towns but this place had a lovely menu and food

I have had lunch a few times and had a big breakfast. A very relaxing experience. Everything is clean, excellent service from the waitress and Nicola..The food was hot and well presented...I would definitately recommend....

Wow we stopped at kinghorn for a spot of breakfast and what a great find the waitresses were very friendly and attentive. We ordered 3 full English which were all cooked fresh and well presented which we all thoroughly enjoyed and clean plates all round. I love the idea how you bring drinks over with food just means that you don't drink everything before your breakfast. Very reasonable prices for such yummy food all piping hot for £5.50 for a fantastic breakfast. Glad we found Nicolas cafe what s great find that we really enjoyed and would recommend.

Lovely little cafe, with attentive staff who quickly get your order sorted and cannot do enough to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Oh, and not expensive either - give it a try!

My mother lives in Kinghorn but has no access or interest in computers but raves about Nicola's lovely homemade soup and value for money all the time. Have been to the cafe with Mum and could not agree more. Mum often gets the carry out soup on her way home from shopping which is a great convenience to her knowing it is homemade and delicious. Your other food is also delicious and good value for money too. Keep up the good work Nichola, you are the salt of the earth and worthy of recognition in your area and beyond. Highly recommended.

Was there for a breakfast and it was lovely. The people there were really friendly and helpful. The food was made with love. Delicious.

We visited the café on our recent holiday to Kinghorn. We were very pleased with the menu which was very good value for money. The café was very clean and the staff very friendly. Good all round place to eat.

This cafe was literally round the corner from where we were staying, popped in for some cupcakes to take along when visiting a relative. They were the loveliest, lightest cupcakes I think I've ever had. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Last month was time for soup, hot chocolate with vanilla and some cupcake Heaven again. I have literally dozens of places I could go to in my town but the 10mins drive to Nicola's always guarantees to please. Never once had a bad visit and so many regular customers. You just can't beat good, home-style cooking and a warm, friendly atmosphere. Be back soon.

No puede perderse este café mientras pasa por la calle principal de Kinghorn. Con la luz azul y ventana exterior atractiva muestra es que le invita a mirar en su interior. Menú en la pantalla y yo quedamos con un pedazo de humedad teabread y una taza de té. A la vista de pasteles. Se servía el desayuno a un número de clientes, mientras que yo estaba allí. Personal amable y un ambiente agradable, ¿qué más necesitas!

Encontramos este café por casualidad hace un año. . Nos sorprendió y satisfechos en la calidad de los pasteles, sopas y una amplia variedad de sandwiches, cafés y tés. recomiendo encarecidamente este café! Es un ambiente acogedor. El amable personal. hacen de esta una visita...

Mi esposa tenía la sopa de lentejas que merece su excelente reputación. Tuve el desayuno durante todo el día y fue perfectamente preparado. Volveremos pronto para ambos.

Este es uno de mis favoritos de tiendas en Kinghorn! Es tan lleno de encanto y comida deliciosa. Tienen la mejor leche y dulces. Que en realidad sirven el desayuno y el almuerzo, junto con todos los platos deliciosos. Disfruté escuchando a la gente mientras toma el desayuno. Me hicieron sentir muy bienvenido cada vez que llegaba.

Have now been twice and can't wait to go again....nothing grand but spotless and friendly and the food......just great.....huge freshly prepared snacks....my favourite is served in a deep heart-shaped dish .....beautiful HOT chips with loads of grated cheese on top.....just dribbling through the chips...mmmmmmmmmmmmm! There's a great menu with something to please EVERYONE.

I've dropped in here a few times when I've been walking the kinghorn stretch of the coastal path. Pleasant cafe. Good selection of home made snacks. Cup cakes to die for!

This is a good place for a quick cuppa, snack or light lunch while walking the Fife Coastal Path through Kinghorn. It is informal and friendly and in the middle of the High Street and not expensive. Their home made soup and home baking are well worth the stop.

Love this wee cafe because it has a lovely welcoming atmosphere and delicious home made food. Have actually been in twice in the space of a week. It makes a great watering hole if you are walking the coastal path.

Pretty little cafe that welcomed 6 of us out of the rain, very welcoming and friendly staff. The lentil soup was Am-az-ing, the sandwiches and cakes were super too. The cappuccino was properly made and just right. The owner even put a candle in a cupcake so we could wish one of our party happy birthday, this was a very nice touch. Highly recommended ☕

An array of delicious homemade cakes await you in this small village café. friendly staff and local customers will give you an insight to this village of Kinghorn. Forget any thoughts of a diet and just enjoy the ambience. yummy.

Popped in travelling to neighbouring villages and so glad we did. Best homemade lentil soup i've ever tasted and that's no mean feat. Cafe was both retro and quirky and the homemade cupcake was as light as a feather. Will be going back for lunch asap.

Lovely to have cake and coffee and watch the world go by. Cakes nice and fresh and not rushed in any way. Worth a visit definitely.

The best lentil soup on the planet! And I thought my own was the best!!! After a walk along the coastal path from Kirkcaldy, we enjoyed a scrumptious soup and roll to give us strength to explore Kinghorn. Later we returned for a cup of tea and cupcake which once again was tip top! Very friendly staff and this is firmly on the map now when visiting Kinghorn.

Nice little cafe where the food is good, decent sized portions and friendly service. Quite a big menu for a small place. We all enjoyed what we had.

Popped in for breakfast, was fab. Great wee cafe with great food and the Iced tea with all the berries was delish.

Didn't think I would like this place but the coffee was amazing, best I've had for ages. Had a scone which was good but a bit crumbly. Will try a cupcake next time.

Stopped in and got lunch for me, my wife and my son.Got a sharing platter of sandwiches with home made soup. Great food and very friendly service. Also great value for money. Looking forward to going again soon.

I have been in to this fantastic Café a few times and always received great food, all day breakfast - delicious, cheese burgers - excellent, I have to recommend the combo for 2. As for the Cupcakes they are out of this world. Friendly staff. Good service. Great prices.

Unfortunately, we tried to pop in about 9:40 on Saturday morning and it was closed despite the sign saying they would open at 9:30. Had to spend my coffee and tart money at the cafe across the street.

This cafe is always one of my familes regular pits stops while we are in Fife. Always greeted with a friendly face and warm welcome. During many of my visits I have tried most of the menu from its full breakfast too their FANTASTIC cupcakes. The coffee served is also the one of the best I have tried. Great value for money, great food, great atmospher and great coffee! what else could you want from a little cafe!!

The cakes always look amazing .. had a taste of husbands carrot cake - very nice - son scoffed the muffin before I could try a bit. Been twice and always seems a bit chaotic in the ordering/service - which given the size of the place (small) could be better. Had baked potatoes all round - some of the fillings were heavy with mayo/bland. The homemade soup is good though!

Nicola's is a fantastic place to call in to - I could wax lyrical about it, but suffice to say they have friendly staff, great food at decent prices, homemade cupcakes from which the cafe gets its name, a selection of sweets to keep the kids happy and some handmade craft stuff too!The hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows is highly recommended!Bear in mind it IS a cafe, so don't expect full 3 course meals, but if soup, rolls, wraps and panninis are what you need there are few places that do it better!

everything a person would want making a good breakfast not a drop of grease on the plate ..hot very tasty good coffee all served with a smile ..a good selection of sweets on sale also
