Popped in here on the way past friendly staff cheapest chippy I’ve ever been in saw what looked like an amazing mixed grill asked what it is turns out it was in fact the bosses dinner I was eyeing up and not for sale they put me some in my bag bless them and it was amazing 😂 highly recommend!

Stopped for fish and chip lunch, dog friendly. Staff was lovely. Nice food

Really decent fish and chips. We both had the fish and chip special with a tea and a cold drink and a curry sauce. £12 each and it was superb. Lovely chips and a great piece of fish with a nice light batter. Tasty curry sauce. Even the cold drink and tea were perfect. Well worth the ride over from Peterborough for lunch.

I ordered Medium Cod & chips with curry sauce for takeaway today. Everything was well packed by staff. The fish was freshly prepared, and as expected, it was really good. The chips were very fresh and tasty. The curry sauce was well balanced and full of flavour. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended chippy!

Food very bad quality fish cakes were not cooked and chips also and cold

We had 10 portions of fish and chips delivered this evening and the delivery was on time, the food hot and delicious.. Can't fault it. Great service ☺️

1 hour 40 minutes for delivery is a complete joke. No apology.

Food don’t arrive until close to 19:00. When it did it arrived nearly cold, and had clearly blood stood for some time. No ide what happened and I don’t care. We won’t be ordering from you again the the last few times haven’t been great.

Extremely disappointed as we are regular customers. Chips were dried up and tasted reheated and chicken kebab meat was full of grisle. Will not order again.

The halloumi fritter/fries didn’t taste as tho they were cooked properly, very soggy and sloppy. The burgers were quite salty but there was a good portion of salad with the burger, although had to pick out some ingredients of the salad as they were not listed and no option to amend for dislikes or allergies.. overall not too bad, but expensive for the not so great quality. Would order again, but not in a hurry.

I've always got fish and chips from them for 20 odd years but tonight was a disappointment. The cod was rather thin, more slightly limp batter than cod and the chips had lots of small thin scrappy bits. Very disappointed and it costed me a tenner & a bit for this kind of fish and chips. I wanted a break from cooking my own dinners. Really disappointed. New management? Think I'll go elsewhere now. Shame really

Wrong ice cream delivered. Ordered phish food. Got caramel chew chew. I do not like caramel. Called and asked for refund or replace. Told only strawberry cheese cake and would deliver. Told them my husband already had a couple of spoons as he did not know what I had ordered.

The cheesy chips were so lovely, lovely and cheesy just how I like them, the halloumi fritter was delicious albeight a bit greasy and salty. My partner enjoyed his food.

Had a halloumi pitta with lots of salad & garlic mayo. Pitta really soft and halloumi really salty. Typical kebab presentation, but totally scoffsble and delish!!

Generally i have never had an issue but lasts night delivery took just over an hour, and for a wednesday night i was getting hangry !, and the fish was very greasy , generally normally very good

Tried to ask price of fish chips and peas twice had old friend waiting in car and did not want to go over £12! If I was regular customer would be worth £600 on annual turnover ! Think my last meal was ok! But went to Ocean Blue where girls are prettier and had a laugh and no complaints about food!

Staying nearby and fancied fish and chips. We had cod, chips, battered sausage and curry sauce. The fish was skinless, boneless and crispy batter. The whole meal was absolutely first class. The service was great too, very happy staff and very welcoming. I will be back next time I am in the area

Lovely freshly cooked fish and chips. Batter thin and Crispy ,chips crispy and not too sugary.

After using them regularly I'm afraid the stsnda4d has dropped. Everything tasted stale and unappetising. I'll still give them another go though. Maybe it was just an off night.

We were very glad to find this place. The fish and chips was one of the best we've ever had. The meals were generous, fresh, and cheerfully served. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Used the online ordering and it worked really well plus 10% off (well not quite 10% I suspect due to the bagging and service charge added to online orders). Anyway, worked well and was ready when I arrived. More importantly the food was all hot, fresh and tasty.

Great experience from Nickos, food was ready to go at the collection time, just needed bagging up. Tasty chips with piles of cheese, and a chip shop that actually has a vegetarian pie available! Keep up the good work.
