Nice 'n' Spicy Indian Takeaway in Weymouth and Portland

Amazing food and amazing service. We ordered a takeaway to be delivered to the campsite we were staying at, the staff were excellent from start to finish. The food portion sizes were very large, we ordered a meal deal for two and changed one of the curry’s, there was so much food, plenty to go around and so tasty. Only downside for me is that I’m not local, but we visit Weymouth often so we will definitely be ordering again.

Perfect takeaway. All items tasty and high quality. Free item choice over £30 spend. Highly recommend this place no downsides. Metal containers too for easy heat up at home.

Enjoyable meal, prices are very reasonable, arrived hot and plentiful, very tasty and filling, highly recommend, always pre-order via app and arrives at the time requested.

Well what a waste of money Had a chicken makani mushroom rice and onion baji The curry went straight in the bin prossesed chicken strips in a watery sauce 😳 rice was OK onion baji were burnt I would never ever get a takeaway from here again it was awful 😖

I am so sorry but this is the worst Indian food I have ever eaten. Lamb Pasanda, frozen cheap lamb strips. Inedible. Bombay potato, frozen potatoes cooked in the strangest sauce. Inedible. Onion bhaji soggy and a strange colour. Garlic Naan bread. Cold and horrible. However, pilau rice nice. AVOID. This has to be the worst Indian food I have ever tasted n my life..

Great tasty food, another favourite place to order from. We had lamb tikka roll, nom nom pilau rice, cheese nahn, chicken tikka masala, chicken tikka balti, onion bharjis, poppadoms. Great taste arrived hot and at specified pre ordered time. Recommend

Sorry, but this was not a great experience. I ordered in shop, waited and collected, and used a insulated case but when i got home (less than quarter of a mile away) the rice was cold, there was a lot of gee in the dishes, and the poppadoms were soft.

We ordered Chicken Tikka Massala with garlic rice and a dish of the specialities which was Chicken Iku. Garlic naan bread. Chicken Tikka Massala was watery and flavourless. Chicken tasted like it had been defrosted processed chicken which was tasteless as well. Rice and bread was okay. Chicken Iku, was the worse choice I could have ever made. Not much chicken and again flavourless. The sauce was so watery and insipid I could barely eat it. Echoing previous comments about a lack of ingredients. For the price of this I expected much better quality and feel completely cheated out of my money. To top this both my partner and I had the worst ever flatulence experienced after eating an Indian, which we have had many! Such a shame our usual Indian is temporarily closed which is why we tried here, but never again. I would not recommend this to anyone unless you want to waste your money, awful. The only positive is the staff were friendly.

Lovely friendly place food was fabulous, we had Bengal Chicken ,Chicken Madras ,Tandoori Chicken, keema naan can highly recommend.

Great hot tasty food. Everything spot on from ordering online to delivery. Best Indian take away. Always friendly staff.

This is the second time of using the take away both times a few things missing we paid £31 but only got £24 worth of food so this time I rang and they told me that they would refund me £4.50 which is not the full amount of money I lost no money was paid in to my account after I gave the full card details so twice I been dune at this takeaway So check what’s in your bag NEVER AGAIN

Yo soy un habitual aquí por una razón muy simple. La comida es muy buena. No he tenido una comida pobre aquí todavía. Normalmente una comida mensual y han probado una gran variedad de menú. Hay un par de comidas muy raramente visto en otro lugar. El Murgh Naga es una comida muy especial que está en el lado caliente y un sabor característico y único. Normalmente me recogerá (aunque ellos hacen la entrega) y una vez tenía un plato equivocado. El personal no podría haber disculpas más y aseguró que la izquierda feliz y mientras que en el tema de personal, siempre muy cálido y acogedor.

Este es nuestro 'Casa' - para llevar Curry y lo hemos usado muchas veces a lo largo de los años cuando no apetece cocinar! No tengo nada malo que decir. No tendemos a usar el servicio de entrega, pero en orden, comida pop, y luego ir a el Spa del hotel para tomar un trago mientras cocinan. Recomiendo encarecidamente este estratagema! El propietario es siempre muy agradable y siempre recuerda mi nombre cuando entras por la puerta. Siempre hemos encontrado la comida magníficamente bien preparado y muy sabroso. No tengo razón para no darle a este lugar una entusiasta recomendación, puedo decir honestamente que nunca he tenido mala comida.

Pedimos un arroz pilau Korma y. Llegué a casa mal recolectadas, arroz, llamó para pedir un reemplazo y tenían ninguno. No hay disculpa. Suero de Korma era, la comida estaba tibia. bang media pobre pobre. Servicios de curry y arroz basura.

He usado este para llevar unos cuantos veces y nunca he tenido una mala (o, para ser sincero, un promedio) curry. He comido muchos de los curries en el menú, mi favorito era un jalfrezi. Hacen un número de ofertas que no he comido en otro lugar y estos son un poco sabroso. Recomiendo probar este restaurante. La única cosa a recordar es a la orden en buen tiempo. Estan muy ocupados y entrega de casa es una buena idea.

I have had a few takeaways from here this will be the last. rang and spoke to the so called manager told him that my food had know taste bland and the onion bhaji tasted different than normal the mint sauce tasted a bit off. really disappointing ordered spicy poppadoms very small supermarket versions also mango chutney which was not mango chutney. rang and spoke to the manager told him his reply was next time you make an order I will let the chef know I said to be honest don't think I will order again after all we pay a lot for takeaways it should be good quality food is answer in shock was ok then goodbye. disgusting customer service no care whatsoever to loose a customer probably thinks one lost I will gain some other person I have never had such a carefree attitude you don't deserve any customers if that your attitude never use this place again.

Used many times home delivery no complaints but the food isnt as good as weve had before sorry to sayHad delivery last night chicken dansac and husband had a chicken pindi it was so hot we were unable to eat the meal and was thrown away which was a shame, The Dansac looked nothing like a Dansac should be i do think you need to get a chef that knows what hes doing .

Good quality food. Nice waiting area in a well decorated Take away shop. Car parking at the front of the premises and i believe a delivery service but we collected our order. I'll use this shop again when in the area.

Very good Indian takeaway that delivers in the local area at a fair cost. Very good food well cooked and also at reasonable costs, would use this one again.

Been having takeaways from here for ages, but never realised it was on here. The food from here is great, always well cooked always tastes amazing. You might have to wait a while, but it's well worth it.

Always busy, always friendly (love the way they know your name when you phone after the 1st time) the extensive menu is mouth watering Wide selection of unusual house specials. Not quick, but worth the wait. Plus is home delivery.

First class service, 15 minute wait, spotlessly clean waiting area comfy chairs, newspaper etc to read, 5star rating Heath and hygiene certificate (well done)

This is my regular takeaway and once again the food was faultless. Full of flavour, beautiful taste and delivered on time. Most definitely will be back again

I must say I was surprised as I've always found this place okay b4 . Food was rubbish. Tasteless and dry. Starter was a horrible chicken wing dressed up as tandoori Salad was old washed out lettuce with couple of Toms & lemon slice thrown in . House special biryani wasn't too special. 4 tiny shreds of meat but nothing else more than rice and a hard boiled egg. Onion Baha'is were tasteless & very dry. Even though requested the sag aloo to be juicy and not dry - it was very dry. Chips were cold and tasted like they'd been reheated. Chapatti was also cold so was extra dry and tasteless. The only thing any good was the pot of chopped onion & poppadoms. Seriously disappointed and intend to complain tomorrow. Meal was wasted as unable to eat it. Dry & tasteless & waste of £29.00 took over an hour & 1/2 to arrive too. Can't express enough how disappointing the good was.

Service good, prompt delivery. Food however very average. Korma very 'water's was the other curry. Seems like they use the same Base for their sauces and add few ingredients to make them more unique. though we had 2 different curries, both texture and consistency was identical Expensive take away,in all we were disappointed. ..would we use again? Probably not now, as we know we can get better quality for same cist ftom Weymouth Tandoori. Don't use this take away at the moment, they need to up their game on quality and authenticity. Dean

We found we had brought home dishes of gravy, lacking flavour, under spiced. Such a shame but after a takeaway in a big city recently I'm more convinced than ever that Weymouth's takeaways are not what they could be. Nice and Spicy is probably one of the better ones but in truth last nights was poor.

Had the occasional hickup with order (about 1 in 15 orders). For 5 years of living here we've sworn that this is the best curry house in Weymouth. The curry bases taste like they've been prepared quite far in advance i.e. slow cooked (I don't know their cooking method but that's how they taste) so very rich and saucy and slightly oily. Unfortunately they raised their prices slightly making their nearby competitor out price them which we've switched to. Nice & Spicy's cheese naans are in a class of their own, I miss them! King Balti is second to Nice & Spicy, but cheaper. Either are very good/almost excellent! Have a nice evening!

Ordered chicken tikka, aloo saag and naan bread (along with a selection of other stuff for the family). Both the chicken tikka and aloo saag we reheated from a previous service. The chicken looked like it was marinated earlier and then fried to reheat. Quite unpleasant. Have had good curries from here before, this was just a bit lazy.

Just cant stop going back !!, found this place by mistake one day, best thing I've ever done !!!!.Food is absolutely fabulous - Free Delivery is always delivered on time.Generous portions, Wouldn't think of going anywhere else.

had an OUTSTANDING take away curry from here.waited a LOT longer for delivery than quoted (considering we live round the corner- literally), but was well worth the wait and taught us a lesson, that we should get up and get it ourselves.Food was really top notch, got free poppadoms, salad and sauce with order. Curry cooked to perfection. will be back repeatedly.

I have been using nice n spicy for a very long time now and I can say that I am never disappointed! The food is splendid and the customer service is brilliant!! They alway make me feel very welcomed, the food is great value for money, not like many other Indians with half filled containers! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend nice n spicy.

Whilst staying at Weymouth bay camp site , we ordered from this place for a delivery , it came in quick time and the food was good and tasty and lovely and hot well worth it and delivered to our caravan bonus will defo use again when we go back down

Now called indi's we arrived to the restaurant and it's had a little make over which looks ok The woman on the repction looked unclean and not at all tidy was very rude and spoke to us in a tone like she owned the place !! While we were awaiting our meal she was all over one off the Indian fellas then a delivery was ready to go out and she was bad mouthing the delivery driver then when the delivery driver came to collect the box she was saying he needs to hurry up ! Felt sorry for him as she barely moved all night. Unhelpful won't be using again due to this

Had an Indian take away for Father's Day not to good Popadoms were stale & taste burnt rice cold ,meal on the whole a complete let down had no flavour & after heating every thing up again no improvement so didn't get eaten but found a place for it in the bin won't be doing that again!

I got excellent food from this take away.it was very tasty food fo me . their foid price also reasonable.hope will go again ASAP

After waiting over an hour for our food, we didn't get what we ordered! we were missing a naan bread, got a rice which I didn't order and had to pay extra for. The popadom was stale and we were missing our drinks. After ringing 6 times and getting no answer we gave up! Was very poor

I regularly have curry from this establishment and I'm always a very satisfied customer. Always a very warm friendly welcome and the staff are very helpful. Generally a very good customer service in shop as well as deliverys!The food is like no other!!! Far superior to ANY other Indian take away resteraunt in my opinion!!5 stars all round from me

Speechless! it is my one stop shop for any curry i have it has one amazing reputation but the food speaks for itself, i personally love the tandoori style chicken, i have tasted a vast amount of Indian takeaways and if i'm completely honest i will never use any other Indian takeaway again, try it once you'll go there for ever!

Nice 'N' Spicy is honestly one of my favourite Indian take aways ever, I am a regular customer and I can say I am never left disappointed with their overal service and food. The food tastes great and the customer serivce is brilliant, I would highly recommend them to everyone who loves good quality food!!

Ordered a delivery from these guys last night and can honestly say it was the worst meal I had ever had delivered. Naan breads as hard as wood. Water filled curry. I'm really the most unfussy person to please with food but this was shocking. , a shame really as I ordered from there about 6 months ago and it was pretty good but looks like its really gone down hill

I've ordered meals to be delivered to me at home several times from Nice n Spicy. They get your first order right, but after that they make mistakes and there's always something wrong about the order - eg stuff left out, wrong flavour of something (eg naan bread), deliver at the wrong time, that sort of thing. When they make a mistake they won't give you a refund, they say they'll give you a discount on your next order - and then conveniently forget. The food's good, but the mistakes are so annoying that I doubt if I'll be ordering a delivery from them again. They're careless.
