Friendly helpful staff. Poor quality ingredients and tasteless smoothie. I ordered the peach, mango, pineapple and strawberry- it only vaguely tasted of strawberry. The baguette was pretty small. A lot of their 5 star reviews seem fake to me

My friend and I were in Brighton for the day (we came from Portsmouth and London to meet up) and we had great service from a lovely young friendly funny man - the food portions were small for the price - but the toasted sandwiches were tasty but could have been bigger or cheaper

Popped in to get a hot drink on a freezing day, was welcomed by the friendliest guy ever, suggested a hot cocao, which was quite possibly THE most delicious thing ever! Thick, not overly sweet the perfect drink to warm me up. You should absolutely have one!

I stumbles across Tucked Away on my to the train station & it was a lovely experience to say the least. Some of the best toasties and smoothies I've had in the centre of town - My personal favourite is the ‘peri-pesto’ chicken toastie and the berry blend smoothie with lions-mane! Be sure to visit if you’re passing by Trafalgar street :)

Food was fine, the issue is that there was barely any food to begin with. We came here because of the amazing rating and were completely disappointed with the portion sizes. We were given two baguettes which were filled with what could only be described as rations. £17 to two 20% filled baguettes and a bottle of water. Our meals genuinely made us feel sad. We were sad that our money was essentially wasted. All we needed was the baguettes to be filled with actual ingredients. The reason it is not 1 star is due to the male staff member. So unbelievably friendly, so welcoming, frankly squandered talents that would be better placed in a finer establishment (unless he filled the sandwiches then shame on you).

The staff are the sweetest people ever, they are always down for a chat and very sociable ! Amazing service all around , food and drinks are awesome !! Highly recommend the fries , chorizo toastie and the mochas!! Lovely atmosphere too I love how they decorate the place and the staff are some of the most genuine and caring people when it comes to their customers!! 10/10 pls visit :3

They have great customer service and are always up for a conversation, they grow good bonds with returning customers and remember people individually. Also food and drinks are banging 10/10

I would highly recommend tucked away to people looking for people looking for somewhere to eat in Brighton. This is due to the fact they do amazing food and drinks, along side the amazing service. I would personally recommend a brie and chorizo toastie, however all food they do is amazing so whatever you choose is likely to leave you satisfied, they also make amazing smoothies coffees and teas, with booster options which have supplements that can improve health. The atmosphere is next level as you will always have a friendly face serving you and comfortable outdoor seating. All of these facts is why tucked away is my personal favourite place to eat in Brighton after going out.

Lovely outdoor cafe with the most delicious toasties we've ever tasted (they had cheese, and cheese-and-pesto, and I had the brie, cranberry and avocado panini - absolutely amazing!). We also enjoyed some pretty amazing smoothies in a quiet corner with outdoor tables and a lot of attention to detail. Well worth taking a detour - we'll recommend it to all our friends.

Poor service from ill-trained staff. Missing key ingredients to make food from the already minimal menu. Staff clearly stressed but were ‘unable to process refunds’ after we had waited 45 minutes for sandwiches and coffees

Fantastic ice cold slushie smoothies on a scorching Brighton day. Really attentive friendly and warm service. Great position too. When I grew up in Brighton this was a record shop. Still a cool place!

i’ve never been too a place quite like this, first off the staff are some of the nicest people i’ve met and been served by, nothing was too much and they where so friendly and even remembered our order the second time we come within 2 days which if anything should say volumes about the quality of the food, and the food… i’ve never in my life had such a perfect toastie, perfectly seasoned and nice and hot and many options that all seem too be cooked with the same love and care that we where served with and can easily say hand on hear that we’ll be back! Arland was so sweet to us … a little rabble of aging festival goers post show and seeking hot drinks. He turned the coffee machine back on with such good grace and kindness and humour. We had a wonderful time warming up in the late evening feeling all his love and hospitality. Thank you Arland. You’re a total star and there was great feedback on your paninis!

I had the best toastie ever here! I stopped by after noticing the new renovation works, it looks amazing. The new signs make it so eye-catching. There are all new toastie and panini flavours. I had the cheese, chicken and chorizo one, best toastie I've ever had! Also tried the strawberry yum smoothie from the new smoothie menu - it was so tasty and a great way to feel and be healthier! I spoke to the new owner, such a friendly and genuine person, the vibes were immaculate. Really nice uplifting music as well, overall a great atmosphere and a great seating area outside. Best place to get food in Brighton!! Amazing vibes as well, can't recommend enough :)

Nice environment. Great hospitality. Delicious food. We have ordered classic Italian baguette, coronation chicken and cheese panini. All are scrumptious. The Mocha is the best I have ever tasted. The coffee is amazing. With the sunshine of beautiful Brighton, we all have a great moment at the Tucked Away Brighton.

The boss is friendly, the drinks are economical, there are hot buns to eat, and it supports Hong Kong people.

Absolutely lovely little place to get some lunch! Everyone is refreshingly friendly, and the prices aren't that bad. Food has been top notch as well, so no complaints here. This is one of my favourite places to visit whenever I'm in Brighton!

The food there are of great value. The cranberry, brie and and bacon panini and tucked away signature baguette are just so good! (Well, just pick anything on the menu and you won’t be disappointed!) Always feel welcomed with the lovely smile of the friendly staff. The shop is tucked away, but a hidden gem in Brighton. Will definitely be back again!

Delightful place, great service & a delicious range of sandwiches, paninis, baguettes, jacket potatoes and toasties. All prepared with a thoughtful touch and a smile! I would recommend a visit for a late breakfast or lunch - to take away or sit outside. A lovely 'tucked away' gem!

One of my favourite food place in whole of Brighton. The food is always fresh and prices are absolutely reasonable. Many veggie and vegan options available. Just look at the cheesy jacket potato with salad I got for lunch today... simply delicious!

Always a friendly smile and very yummy affordable food ok the go. Highly recommend! I wasn’t sure if you meant to leave your seating out on Friday but I took it inside my entrance to keep it safe. I’ve left it out in my alleyway behind the gate for you as I won’t be awake at the time you open! Xx

Really great place to grab a quick lunch. Big portion size and good value. The only thing that is missing is nutrition information for the food but that is only a minor thing and does not diminish the good food.

Great little place to get a baguette or a baked potato for lunch. Prices are reasonable and the bread used for their baguettes is always fresh.
