Ngopi UK in Birmingham

Great coffee , quite ambience , open space , quite , nice service , very reflective space - big open windows let the sun through - and especially it’s Indonesian - what a rare gem

Authentic indonesian food. We came as family. We ordered nasi padang, pempek, batagor, ayam sambal hikau dan dori sambal matah. All is great. They also sell tek botol and indomie.. Hehe

The food was good but the service was terrible. From the moment the staff opened the door for business, no smile at all or greeting to welcome you to the restaurant. Even when ordering at the counter the same staff was still grumpy. There's balsona tiny mouse in the toilet and when this was informed to the same staff, no apology or an assurance to look into the situation. For these reasons, although the food is good , I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

We came here for brunch both days we were in Birmingham because it was so good. The specialty coffee was gorgeous Gadou Gadou was delicious, a lovely peanut sauce with little chunks of veg and tempeh. The more indulgent French toast also delicious.

A friend and i wanted to try this cafe and came to birmingham for a girls day. It was quiet when we arrived but plenty of people came in and out while we enjoyed a leisurely lunchtime and we were well looked after by the friendly staff The food was delicious, i tried the indomie toastie wih veggie fritters, and my friend who is veggie had the gado gado. We enjoyed all the food and drink. The taro latte was a surprise and delicious. Hope to be back again soon

This placed is tucked away down in Dale End so not as popular as it should be. Lovely airy venue and everything is tasty as hell. Plenty of dishes I don't recognise and all so tasty. I had one of their incredibly tasty pastries while there in most recent stop

Felt like an oasis of calm and chill to walk in to. Menu was great- lots of delicious things to choose from. Pleasant service, delicious food. All served pretty quick.

We've been here a couple of times for lunch.. We enjoy the food the calm and the laid back music. For us the food is fairly priced .I had the Dory Sambal Matah with rice (£8) and my partner had the Tahu Isi (£5.50). Haven't tried the coffee yet, strangely, but we will return

A great Indonesian gem tucked within Birmingham's City centre, especially when you want a break from the bustle of Brum. I had the Fried Indomie; a wonderfully savoury meal with both sweet and delicate spicy notes. I also had the fish cake which was amazing. The drinks are tasty, too (freshly brewed with many choices)! I went with a family member who enjoyed their visit to Ngopi, but I have also frequented here solo and the food and experience has never disappointed. Overall, a lovely local Indonesian cafe that is inviting in decor, warm in atmosphere and has excellent staff.

Amazing. Food was absolutely fantastic, delicious great portion sizes and amazing price!! Ordered about 6 dishes between 4 people, even though it was a lot of food it was too tasty to leave anything left on the plates!

Found this place by googling Indonesian food, wish i had known about this place before. One of the best coffee i’ve ever had, the rissoles was absolutely AMAZING and great service. Will definitely be a regular from now on.

Npogi is my most favourite cafe of all! They use Indonesian coffee beans that makes their coffee very flavourful. The cafe is very welcoming environment with minimum music background. Ngopi is the best place to enjoy coffee, whether you want to work or read. Highly recommended.

This was my first experience in Uk with my partner it was so beautifull. This is the place with so many beautifull dishes. i think this is the one we need the most in these days. i think this is best for lunch and recommend their soup to all of you.. thankyou again for giving beautifull experience.
