Ngon Ngon in Camden

This is a lovely restaurant. Food made with love with friendly and attentive service. The rare beef pho was the best I’ve had in years, and the spring rolls and ginger/onion sizzling beef were both excellent as well.

The food here is delicious. Every dish my group had was flavoursome and nicely balanced in texture too. The only real downside was that it is pretty cramped, even for a Monday evening. The place was filled and we were asked to pay our bill promptly, which we were informed about at the beginning.

Lovely atmosphere, great pho and nice staff as well. Would recommend here to eat as price is good as well.

Our experience at Ngon Ngon was excellent. Every person loved their food and everyone is definitely going back. The Ha Noi Fish was sensational, and duck seemed to be popular across the table, as was, obviously the Pho. The food came out so fast and cleared out of everyone's way promptly. This is an amazing location for big groups.

Super cute, casual place with delicious food. Came as a group of 10 and got very quick, friendly service. Had enough options as a vegan/vegetarian. Vietnamese friend said the pho was not quite authentic, but the rest of us loved our food.

The monkfish pho is outstanding. Outrageous value for money!

The aesthetics of this place is so authentic and pretty. The service is great. I had the spicy pho which was a 7/10 but the starters, crispy squid and wings, were brilliant

Always delicious..I eat here probably at least once a week and it's just great pho's, great bun, chicken wings..it's all really nice food without killing your budget..fair prices for sure and super lovely service

This place has sentimental value to me as it’s the place me and my girlfriend first met. Unfortunately though, the food is very average. Seafood sharing plate was good and I would recommend ordering that, but the Pho, the spring rolls, the sizzling duck and Hà Nội monkfish were all very bland. All these dishes needed more seasoning and flavour to all the food except the squid which was great.

Busy, best to book for evening tables. Loved the monkfish soup (virtually there monkfish Hanoi served in a delicious broth with hints of tomato). The sizzling beef is spot on and the prawn summer rolls are fresh and tasty. Good for groups up to 6.

Had: 1. Salt and pepper prawns 2. Vietnamese rolls 3. Hanoi fish 4. Passionfruit lemonade Everything was yummy! And full of flavour. Portion size was great and service was overwhelmingly hospitable so I will definately be bringing others to this place.

The mango seabass was phenomenal, clearly fresh as it should be. My wife had the chicken pho, and the flavours were intense, the soup base was on point. Great little find, we will be back for lunch!

Amazing duck pho! One of the best phos ever!

So positively surprised! Didn’t assume much first but my vegan pho was amazing, super deep and wholsome flavour which isn’t always the case for vegan stock… can only assume meat one is perfection. Service was lovely as well, you can tell the staff cares! Great job! It was so good that I came back the day after.

Came here as a family for an evening meal. We were a little hesitant walking in with how packed it looked for the table we would get, but throughly impressed as two people to get a four-person table. The staff were absolutely lovely and showed us to the table, gave us water while we ordered and were very accomodating. We ordered the beetel beef leaf and chicken satay to share between us ( both lovely), a bottle of rose and a beef pho and sizzling beef with rice individually— all of which were lovely. The bill wasn’t ridiculous either. Very impressed and would return again happily next time we are around the area!

The raw beef pho was AMAZING!! Really fresh flavours and thick-cut, super-tender beef. The stuff of dreams. Service was fast but careful. I felt taken care of, not rushed. The place was packed and buzzing, but in a comfy cosy kind of way. There’s a few creative dishes on the menu I want to go back and try (Hanoi monkfish seems interesting), but would go back just for the pho and the service alone. Highly recommend!!

Terrific family run Vietnamese. The lines at lunch are into the street which tells you how popular this place is. We arrived a bit before 12 PM and got a seat despite having no reservation, but 45 minutes later people were queuing though the lines moved fast. Service was quick and helpful. We ordered the spring and crystal rolls—with the spring rolls being sublime. Could have ordered again for dessert! The green papaya salad was excellent too. We had the chicken pho which was very good too but lacked the wow of the starters. Next time we’ll just have starters. Great for a healthy, nutritious and reasonably priced meal. They have a number of vegetarian and vegan options. Try not to sit by the door as the sound from patrons and people standing behind you waiting for a table is uncomfortably loud.

Went during lunch time so quite busy but wonderful food, friendly staff and laid back setting really had a nice time.

Ordered Dry beef Salad (Goi) and Braise beef with rice takeaway. Braise beef was fine however very sweet, the salad was very sweet and heavy on the sugar which made the dressing syrupy and thick, normally the dressing was supposed to be more light and citrus with lemon. The restaurant was packed at 8pm on a weeknight

Authentic Vietnamese cuisine served by smiling and welcoming staff. The food was light yet flavourful. We tried the Prawn Summer Rolls and Chicken Satay to start with, followed by Monkfish Pho, Ha-noi Fish, and Sizzled Garlic with Prawns. Each and every dish was yummy. The best Vietnamese food I had ever in UK.

I recommend the monkfish pho. A light broth with tomatoes and dill. Fruity and refreshing. Really busy Saturday lunch spot. Good friendly atmosphere.

Absolutely divine food in a cosy environment. Brilliant portions and enjoyed all the flavours. The staff were also very nice.

We went for dinner here as it’s relatively close to the Barbican. The flavours in the meal were brilliant. Everyone on the table enjoyed the food immensely. It’s a nice hidden gem in the middle of London. Would highly recommend a visit.

Came here for lunch with friends today and it was lovely!! We arrived just past 12 as we heard it can get extremely busy after that - which it did and understandably so as the food was amazing! Good prices, good portions and lovely attentive staff. I had the wok stir-fried beef with some chicken wings, but could not finish the chicken wings as the main was so filling, they gave me a takeaway box to take home with me. Food was hot, tasty and cooked from fresh! Could not fault it. I cannot wait to return and have more. Thank you Ngon Ngon!!

Ngon Ngon is an unassuming Vietnamese place with a warm atmosphere, many (packed) tables and delicious authentic cooking. The sizzling plates with beef are full of umami, the fried squid is meaty and flavorful, stunning fried spring rolls as well. The chicken satay was perfect and managed to avoid the usual issues with very moist chicken, sweet but strong satay. Wish I could try the whole menu as everything single dish was on point.

Genuinely amazing food and service. Our waitress advised us on recommendations on the menu based on our preferences for food and they were spot on. She was super friendly and the food was amazing. They catered for gluten free coeliac no problem and made sure everything was fine. We will be regulars here!

The service is good with kind staff. I booked a table for 20 people, they set up and kept the table for me without any deposits. During our dinner, they care about us and ask if the food is okay, they cleaned right after we finish so that we can sit and chat comfortably. The food is good. I am from Vietnam and I have try Vietnamese food in several restaurant in England, this restaurant have the Vietnamese dishes which are similar to what we have in Vietnam. (I had Hanoi fish, fresh springroll and fried springroll, they were all good) Highly recommend!

The place is really lovely. The food was great with large portion sizes. The spring rolls were extra crispy and the sauce for chicken satay was amazing. Nothing about the pho stood out but it was nice.

Spotted Ngon Ngon across the road walking down Clerkenwell.We popped in, everyone was having a good time and enjoying themselves. The food looked and smelt great so we booked a table for later that evening. We are quite fussy as we're pretty decent in the kitchen. We were extremely happy with the prompt, professional service, the starter was delicious, squid can easily be overcooked and if not prepared correctly, stringy. The sizzling duck and onions was also delicious and the whole experience was relaxed and very pleasurable. A wonderful meal.

The broth is good, very rich, meaty and beefy. The rice noodle is smooth and in great portions. Raw beef is okay but I prefer brisket more. Recommended the pho!

Came in with a friend half hour before closing. Super fast service the food was absolutely delicious. Spring rolls, black pepper beef, sizzling duck, mochi ice cream. I was licking my fingers by the end of the meal. Portions were a little small relative to the price but definitely worth it.

Went here about 5 times recently before class in the evening and absolutely loved it! The food is great (Spicy chicken Pho and the mighty minced beef in betel leaves are my favourites), the service is quick and pleasant. The atmosphere is good (it does get quite noisy in the evening which I personally enjoy/ don't mind) and the prices are very reasonable

The food was amazing, somehow they transformed cabbage into magic and their rolls are absolutely legendary. The pho was on point, and I'm looking forward to testing the fried duck which was on the plates of plenty of patrons. Highly recommended if you're in the area 🍜🫔🥢

I ordered online, and my order was missing items. They refused to offer me compensation without explanation. Bunch of thieves. Don't order from here. UPDATE: No the order was not fulfilled. It was missing rice. There is no substitution. The order form says vegetable +6.50, so yes I clicked on that...so that I could have vegetables with my rice and beef. Why would I be making this up? Glad you've asked your incompetent staff and they disagree with the customer, who just likes to make stuff up for fun. Take note, Googlers.

Well equipped family restaurant . The place looks lovely, clean and the menu excellent, the staff amazing, professional and happy. A place where you can have a conversation with friends and family without the interruption of loud music. We are having a great time and of course we aim to came back!!

Just simply excellent Vietnamese food! You cannot go wrong with the sautéed beef phở - added diced tomatoes was a pleasant surprise. The soup was flavorful yet light and the juicy, tender beef was divine. We also had the Betel leaf beef, absolutely delicious. The butter lettuce, vermicelli noodle, fresh herbs, and the sweet fish sauce come together harmoniously. The sides we order were the egg fried rice and stir-fried morning glory with garlic were just as well-crafted as the two mains. We could not leave this review without mentioning the amicable and warm service we received from the staff members as well as the cozy atmosphere that elevated our dining experience to the next level. I hope you have an opportunity to check this place out!

Very busy and service a bit all over the shop. I did reserve a table but this didn’t seem to have much meaning… seated quickly and the Spicy Duck Pho was delicious.

Very good. No booking which as it turned out was risky.. It was packed but we were given a 5 minute wait and were fitted in. The menu was good and service was brisk. Food arrived quickly and was delicious. We had seabass which was a good choice. Definitely look to going back but I will book next time.

Food was delicious, good portion size, and reasonably priced. However it was so loud in there we could barely hear each other and had to leave (it was only 7-8pm on a Tuesday!), and the service wasn’t great - friendly, but were too short staffed. Overall I’d recommend though, as I said, food was great

I think everyone enjoyed their food at Ngon Ngon. 15 + of us piled into the restaurant and they coped very well. Service with a smile and the food is very good.

I really love this place. My friend had the Pork Pho and I had the Monkfish Pho. Very veggie friendly too. Recommend coming here before 6pm as it starts to get rammed quick

Usually Viet food dont really fill me up, but if you get the pho with extra noodles and extra meat, it's a nice portion for the price :) the broth is great cleaned the bowl easily 👌

As someone who loves Vietnamese food, I have to say this is the best. Not only is the food amazing but the prices are very very good! My food came very quick, presentation was great. Clean restaurant. Highly recommend. I wish they opened more restaurants!

Super lovely staff and great food! It was my first time trying Vietnamese cuisine, so I’m quite happy that it was here. Had the spicy beef pho — highly recommended as long as you can take the heat. The place is quite small, so keep that in mind if you are planning to go during a busy time.
