Had an amazing meal at Ngon Ngon, it’s a nice food spot! The vibe is chill, with super friendly staff who make you feel welcome as soon as you walk in. The food is so nice – proper authentic Vietnamese flavours, fresh ingredients, and the portions are spot on. Prices are decent, and you really get your money’s worth. Whether you’re into Vietnamese or just fancy something different, this place is a must-try. Will definitely be coming back!

Hospitality is perfect! Smiley faces makes you feel welcomed. We had sizzling beef with onions & ginger sided with fried rice. Very very good!!! Just one comment: I wish to have more beef compared to veggies. or at least half-half ratio. It has too much onion. However very tasty. Sizzling duck with onions was also good but beef stole the thunder. I want to come back for the pho. Thank you for a very good dining experience.

Staff were very friendly and polite, prices are quite reasonable compared to other Vietnamese restaurant. Pho is delicious. Grilled pork vermicelli is my favourite. Decoration is not “authentically Vietnamese”, but very cosy - love it

Great food here. Would really recommend the Vietnamese spring rolls but we also enjoyed the Monkfish Pho and Special Rice. The staff were super attentive and friendly and we weren't pestered at any point. The upstairs has a much nicer ambiance than downstairs. Very reasonable prices for London.

This has become one of my fav viet restaurants in london. Reasonably priced with generous servings. The hot ginger and lemongrass tea goes well with the food in cold weather.

We LOVE this restaurant so much so we went here to celebrate the night we got engaged. The food it amazing and the portion sizes are so big we are nearly full after the starter.

I love the food flavour, however, please be careful when ordering take-away. Last time I was walking few minutes to the train station with my order, it seemed fine but when I opened the bag in the train.. the soup was leaking everywhere. Then, I tried to pour the soup into the noodles but immediately the whole soup just exploded as the bottom had a whole/was broken so I didn’t get to eat my soup sadly 😭😭

This is my favourite pho in London. When I head there with Tonzinho, big Billy Fish and Gretz Jam we always enjoy it. Class, quality and consistency - hallmarks of the greats.

Pre warning that this place is cosy but it works! It never felt too loud or crowded even with a full house and when you taste their food, you’ll understand why it’s practically always fully book in there. My friends ordered the braised pork and I ordered the grilled pork and we shared - as much as I enjoyed my grilled pork, I preferred the braised pork. It was so mouth watering and it melted in my mouth. My other friend ordered the mango seabass and after trying, I wish I ordered some to go. So flavourful, cooked well and it was light considering it was a whole fish.

Meat spring rolls were so crispy and delicious. Roasted pork salad was amazingly delicious! Honey chicken rice was good. Passion fruit lemonade was very good and refreshing. Very friendly staff. Suitable prices.

It was okay. Food was tasty but nothing outstanding. Restaurant was very full so hard to hear the rest of the table. Staff did really well to still maintain the level of service.

Yummy food 😋 and good service, one of my faves

We had a starter of fried squid which was really very good and very spicy! Then a delicious 'pho' broth with rare beef! The boiling broth is served very quickly with a few vegetables to add separately on a board (bean sprouts, coriander, chili pepper and lemon-lime wedge). There is soy sauce at the table, siracha and homemade garlic sauce available. Tap water is free and unlimited. As the service is not included here (which is exceptional in London), you choose when paying how much extra you want to give. The place is nice but the tables are really very close to each other and as the service is so fast and we even receive the starter at the same time as the main course, we finished very quickly and they clear out even when not everyone has finished. In other words, go there to eat well but not for a moment of rest, especially not with the poor soundproofing of the room!

What can I say… simply the best Vietnamese food I have ever eaten with service to match. The food is simply divine together with an amazing atmosphere and service lends itself to a very special occasion. I couldn’t recommend it more highly. A must go to restaurant in Clerkenwell.

What a buzzy vibe! Great Vietnamese food - nice and fresh! Staff are friendly and polite. Can recommend the rare beef pho l, summer rolls, and the Buddha aubergine, as well as the duck with onion. Basically the dishes from the chef selection. Food around us looked and smelled divine though. Tables are quite close together and if there's lots of people then it's quite loud. Relaxed atmosphere. Mochi ice-cream very tasty. Would recommend booking just in case but there is more seating downstairs as well.

During my stay in London I was strolling through the streets and this restaurant jumped out at me. Vietnamese cuisine that you won't forget The Pho Supe couldn't be more authentic. I will recommend this store to everyone! we will be back!

Came here for lunch with friends today and it was lovely!! We arrived just past 12 as we heard it can get extremely busy after that - which it did and understandably so as the food was amazing! Good prices, good portions and lovely attentive staff. I had the wok stir-fried beef with some chicken wings, but could not finish the chicken wings as the main was so filling, they gave me a takeaway box to take home with me. Food was hot, tasty and cooked from fresh! Could not fault it. I cannot wait to return and have more. Thank you Ngon Ngon!!

Great food and service! Spicy prawn pho was amazing!

Bun nem was delicious, just like in vietnam. Mushroom vegan pho was really tasty too, a unique flavour.

Amazing service. Great food and really good atmosphere. Visited to celebrate my mums birthday and the staff were happy to bring a cake we brought out and even when above and beyond to play the happy birthday song on the speakers. They also seated us quickly despite being 30 mins early to our reservation. The food was delicious. My favourite was the salt and pepper squid. it was cooked perfectly. not rubbery at all. Best cooked squid I've had at a restaurant. The sizzling dishes were both and amazing experience and delicious. We had the monkfish and the duck and both were great. I will definitely be back.

Small place but very nicely laid out, great service and excellent spicy chicken pho. We booked and glad we did as was full on a Saturday evening.

My absolute favourite lunch time takeaway dish is the stir-fried egg noodle with beef. It just tastes so good and the veggies are still crunchy and flavoursome. I also love the homemade lemonade with mint. This is my go-to restaurant for lunch whenever I am in this area of London. It’s such a treat and I would go there everyday, if my budget allowed! I can’t wait to go back to sample many more of the delightful dishes on the menu!

Met friends for lunch today, which was great. When I entered restaurant it was busy and felt like popular lunch place. Food came out smelt great and nice presentation. Food came out quickly and tasted great. Enjoy catching up with friends. Pro amazing Food nice environment great value, cons got a bit loud to hear each other so end up shouting louder and payment time you have go up to the till and it very narrow space so end up.bumping into staff constantly trying to get food out of kitchen. I would still keep going back tables were comfortable ,service was good food was good.

Great authentic Vietnamese restaurant/cafe in Farringdon with great vegetarian options and even a vegetarian fish sauce! Food is fresh and delicious. Decor is also very lovely. My go to place for lunch when in the area :)

Really disturbing experience. First seated under a broken light and then served a hyper processed Honey Glazed Chicken. They said the chicken was marinated for hours so it turned out to be in that suspicious tone of crimson - it gave me a disturbing stomach for a whole night.

Authentic Vietnamese cuisine here - perfect vegetable spring rolls and a delicious broth for pho. Vietnamese style filter coffee and a fresh menu with offers I don’t always see with other Vietnamese places. Will definitely revisit

Finger licking good beef pho, worth the detour from wherever in London you may be situated or headed. The very reasonable prices and delicious meat spring roll starters are icing on an already delicious cake. Worth a second visit to sample their sizzling plates.

This is our home away from home place to eat in London for authentic delicious Vietnamese cuisine. Everything we’ve tried has been really good. The pho is phenomenal and tastes similar to that in Vietnam. Tells you lot when we ate here 3 times during our 1 week trip to London. The prices here are much cheaper than other restaurants we’ve tried.

Great food, great location. I've tried several things on the menu now and have never been disappointed. I have really enjoyed everything to be honest. The restaurant is really loud and really crowded. The bathrooms are a bit gross and the downstairs smells of damp. But the upstairs is very pretty (still loud and crowded). I highly recommend coming here and seeing for yourself.

Really lovely restaurant. Staff were all very friendly and efficient. The sizzling duck and onion was absolutely divine. It came at the perfect temperature and was indeed very much sizzling! Flavours were lovely albeit slightly too salty for me. Portion size was perfect. I loved their homemade watermelon juice and iced teas too! Not much in the way of desserts but that’s not a big problem for me. Chicken is also halal.

Absolutely delicious food at a very reasonable price. The portion is generous and the service is really fast. We had a sharing meat platter (shaking beef, deep fried spring rolls, pork ribs, mango & green papaya salad, beef in betel leaf) and a fried sea bass with mango. We enjoyed it so much and we were so full! I'm Vietnamese from the South of Vietnam - Saigon, and usually prefer the food from that region. My husband and I both agree that the food here is super tasty and very good value. Highly recommended. All the staff are Vietnamese, friendly and happy, usually a good sign when you go to a Vietnamese restaurant.

This place is great spot if you are crazy Vietnamese food for work lunch! Friendly staff and delicious menu- only downside is they can take long (had few luck times where the food came quick but this is all because they are always super busy). I had spicy chicken pho but their salt and pepper chicken for starters as also their flat noodles are soooo good!! Overall 10/10 for both food and staffs in here ☺️

What a fantastic little spot! The food is delicious and well priced, bravo for not adding service charge! The crispy spring rolls and pho with raw beef tasted exactly like in Vietnam. The mango monkfish was a huge surprise, one of the best fish dishes I've ever had! You must try it. The sizzling duck looked amazing, but we found it overcooked and bland. A small stain on an otherwise perfect experience. Don't order the sizzling duck, but do give this place a visit and you will not regret the monkfish!

Absolutely delicious and wonderful service. I have an autoimmune condition so am gluten free, soya free and dairy free. They were very lovely and said they can adapt any the menu items to fit needs. So understanding and made me feel like I wasn’t a pain in the bum! Reassured me when putting down items they fit requirements too. I had adapted prawn summer rolls w/ satay sauce and spicy beef pho. Was delicious! (And very nice price indeed!) Will definitely come again. Thank you :)

The pho was really delicious and flavorful. I’d suggest trying that. Skip the prawn summer roll. It wasn’t wrapped well so the ingredients were falling off. The sauce was overly sweet and had a weird aftertaste. The shaking beef was hard, chewy, and also sweet. Don’t recommend.

Amazing quick service, friendly staff and superb food - booked a leaving lunch for 22 people and this was magically accommodated by the team (they also managed to fit in everyday lunch diners and I still don't know how lol). Service was so speedy that we managed to have lunch between 12:30 - 1:30pm without any problems (normally restaurants struggle). Food was fresh, hot and delivered with seamless precision by the friendly staff and made for the best atmosphere and memorable lunch. Thank you so much to the staff!

I really liked it here and would recommend it as a casual place to eat with excellent food. We hadn't booked and it was pretty busy upstairs so we were seated downstairs which was a little less atmospheric. There were a couple of mix-ups with service, but nothing major. Friendly place. Great food

This is a lovely restaurant. Food made with love with friendly and attentive service. The rare beef pho was the best I’ve had in years, and the spring rolls and ginger/onion sizzling beef were both excellent as well.

The food here is delicious. Every dish my group had was flavoursome and nicely balanced in texture too. The only real downside was that it is pretty cramped, even for a Monday evening. The place was filled and we were asked to pay our bill promptly, which we were informed about at the beginning.

Our experience at Ngon Ngon was excellent. Every person loved their food and everyone is definitely going back. The Ha Noi Fish was sensational, and duck seemed to be popular across the table, as was, obviously the Pho. The food came out so fast and cleared out of everyone's way promptly. This is an amazing location for big groups.

Super cute, casual place with delicious food. Came as a group of 10 and got very quick, friendly service. Had enough options as a vegan/vegetarian. Vietnamese friend said the pho was not quite authentic, but the rest of us loved our food.

This place has sentimental value to me as it’s the place me and my girlfriend first met. Unfortunately though, the food is very average. Seafood sharing plate was good and I would recommend ordering that, but the Pho, the spring rolls, the sizzling duck and Hà Nội monkfish were all very bland. All these dishes needed more seasoning and flavour to all the food except the squid which was great.

Busy, best to book for evening tables. Loved the monkfish soup (virtually there monkfish Hanoi served in a delicious broth with hints of tomato). The sizzling beef is spot on and the prawn summer rolls are fresh and tasty. Good for groups up to 6.

Had: 1. Salt and pepper prawns 2. Vietnamese rolls 3. Hanoi fish 4. Passionfruit lemonade Everything was yummy! And full of flavour. Portion size was great and service was overwhelmingly hospitable so I will definately be bringing others to this place.

Amazing duck pho! One of the best phos ever!

So positively surprised! Didn’t assume much first but my vegan pho was amazing, super deep and wholsome flavour which isn’t always the case for vegan stock… can only assume meat one is perfection. Service was lovely as well, you can tell the staff cares! Great job! It was so good that I came back the day after.

Came here as a family for an evening meal. We were a little hesitant walking in with how packed it looked for the table we would get, but throughly impressed as two people to get a four-person table. The staff were absolutely lovely and showed us to the table, gave us water while we ordered and were very accomodating. We ordered the beetel beef leaf and chicken satay to share between us ( both lovely), a bottle of rose and a beef pho and sizzling beef with rice individually— all of which were lovely. The bill wasn’t ridiculous either. Very impressed and would return again happily next time we are around the area!

The raw beef pho was AMAZING!! Really fresh flavours and thick-cut, super-tender beef. The stuff of dreams. Service was fast but careful. I felt taken care of, not rushed. The place was packed and buzzing, but in a comfy cosy kind of way. There’s a few creative dishes on the menu I want to go back and try (Hanoi monkfish seems interesting), but would go back just for the pho and the service alone. Highly recommend!!

Terrific family run Vietnamese. The lines at lunch are into the street which tells you how popular this place is. We arrived a bit before 12 PM and got a seat despite having no reservation, but 45 minutes later people were queuing though the lines moved fast. Service was quick and helpful. We ordered the spring and crystal rolls—with the spring rolls being sublime. Could have ordered again for dessert! The green papaya salad was excellent too. We had the chicken pho which was very good too but lacked the wow of the starters. Next time we’ll just have starters. Great for a healthy, nutritious and reasonably priced meal. They have a number of vegetarian and vegan options. Try not to sit by the door as the sound from patrons and people standing behind you waiting for a table is uncomfortably loud.

Went during lunch time so quite busy but wonderful food, friendly staff and laid back setting really had a nice time.

Ordered Dry beef Salad (Goi) and Braise beef with rice takeaway. Braise beef was fine however very sweet, the salad was very sweet and heavy on the sugar which made the dressing syrupy and thick, normally the dressing was supposed to be more light and citrus with lemon. The restaurant was packed at 8pm on a weeknight

Authentic Vietnamese cuisine served by smiling and welcoming staff. The food was light yet flavourful. We tried the Prawn Summer Rolls and Chicken Satay to start with, followed by Monkfish Pho, Ha-noi Fish, and Sizzled Garlic with Prawns. Each and every dish was yummy. The best Vietnamese food I had ever in UK.

I recommend the monkfish pho. A light broth with tomatoes and dill. Fruity and refreshing. Really busy Saturday lunch spot. Good friendly atmosphere.

Absolutely divine food in a cosy environment. Brilliant portions and enjoyed all the flavours. The staff were also very nice.
