Worst Chinese food ever. Never order from here. It was late and tepid the food was watery and the meat tough as old boots. The Delivery driver was rude and obviously expected a tip.

Ordered for a takeaway and to be delivered was looking forward to it and when we started eating the pork balls were hard pork and very chewy. Absolutely disgusting will not be ordering from here again. Just after your money for crap food. So a rating of one star don't order food from here the worst Chinese food id ever eaten.

I have been getting takeaway from here for over 20 years. Same thing when I come home - always looking forward to it. This time it was awful. They had changed their recipe, didn’t follow the order requirements I gave and it was clearly reheated chicken which tasted disgusting. Feel really sad it’s not up to what it used to be

King prawn curry was watery and tasteless Boiled rice dry Egg fried rice dry and no trace of eggs cold and hard Very disappointing

Egg fried rice smelt like fag ash. Half a pot of very thin sweet and sour sauce. Chicken balls small and over cooked in bad oil. Never again!!!

Used to love this place, all the way back from moving here in 2005. However this past year has been insanely disappointing from them. Between them sending me crispy fried chicken TWICE when I ordered beef, as I am allergic to poultry, and then also them taking my order, and then cancelling it minutes after, when ordered at 9:30pm (they close at 10:30pm on that day) because “it was too late to order” Beyond disappointed in what they’ve become, after so many years of custom to them.

Hopeless spring rolls Barely cooked, still raw, tough, chewy... and cold in the middle Guy at the counter tap tapping incessantly as I was trying to order DEFINITELY won't be going back

Worst Chinese meal I’ve Ever had

Just got takeaway for first time from New World Chinese Chippenham having recently moved to the area. Ordered vegetable spring rolls - the most revolting I've ever tasted in my life. Bit into it and the veg inside was so hard, rubbery and old I couldn't even bite through it or chew it. It was chewy and tasted like it had been frozen for a long time. Also zero flavour - bland and old. My partner gave me some of his chow main and that tasted like it had been cooked in old oil. We'll never order from there again.

Hi I ordered chicken balls which was very greasy and special curry didn’t have much meat in it the rice looked over cooked and tasted burnt spring rolls had no flavour very poor .waste off money worse Chinese I have ever had .

Service isn’t due a 1. Just ordered this evening but unfortunately my little girl who is 1 became poorly and needed to be rushed to a&e, called to apologise and asked for a refund and the insensitive women, gave me a refund but told me never to order again. Such a shame, not many nice people in this world.

Take out. Perfectly good standard of food. No shortage of customers which I presume says something. Be warned - Red Thai curry is particularly hot.

Wouldn't even give a 1 star. Over 2 hours for delivery . When expected delivery was around 50 mins at the time of ordering. Rang up and they said no later than 15 mins.. 35 mins later it came. Was VERY watery, tasteless lacked flavor and cold. No reply recieved from them through their website enquiry form either. Food went in the bin.

First time trying here and will be our last! Order took just over two hours to arrive. It was cold, and really the worst Chinese takeaway I have ever had. Really unpleasant, avoid!

The food is absolutely out of this world. Take notice of the opening and closed times on the Internet as they've changed.

Very very disappointing; phoned up this evening to place quite a substantial order; prior to ordering I enquired about the ingredients for the dishes & which ones did not contain gluten & wheatgerm due to someone in our party having a severe wheat/gluten intolerance (coeliac disease, a life threatening condition). The person on the other end of the phone told me everything was suitable, upon my questioning further about surely bread, pancakes & the sauces contain wheat he went silent 🤫 Think some serious issues spring to mind here regarding dietary requirements.

My friend phoned to see if she could order anything gluten free from the menu and was told it was all OK as no gluten in anything!!!! Alarm bells ringing... she said to him that he must be wrong as they have pancakes, prawn toast, soy sauce etc.... if she hadn't of questioned them I could of been made seriously ill. This take away does not know about allergens so be aware. This is a very serious worry.

Ordered from here for some time and they delivered food 40 minutes late with hair in my order. Absolutely disgusting.

Every thing was greasy chicken balls and curry was a good size and plenty of it but very dry, wated an hour and half for delivery! And was luke warm.wont order again!!

The salt and chilli wings are amazing. Never had a bad meal from this place. Oh and the sslt and chilli chips ❤❤❤❤

LOVELY! LOVELY! LOVELY! HAD NEVER VISITED HERE BEFORE, AS LIVE OTHER END OF TOWN, BUT DUE TO LOCKDOWN, AND FORTUNE INN BEING CLOSED, GAVE THEM A TRY. WAS READY TO COLLECT WITHIN 15 MINS, AND EVERYTHING WAS FRESH TASTING AND DELICIOUS. WILL DEFINATELY GO BACK FOR MORE. GIVE THEM A TRY. 🙂

Not tasty at all didn't enjoy it at all

The chicken curry is the only one in Chippenham that uses real chicken rather than those preformed pieces of tat that other Chinese use. Also a lovely sauce that they are happy to make extra hot for you on request. I won’t eat anywhere else now. Ingredient quality here is better than anywhere else in town.

Every time we have it is so nice. You can't beat it. Would definitely recommend.

Waited 1 hour and ten minutes for delivery (20 minutes longer than told when ordering) with no discount or anything by way of an apology. When the food came it was the worst takeaway we've ever had : watery, tasteless and all tasted the same, yuk!
