New Valley Tandoori in Rhondda Cynon Taf

A meal from here has been part of our weekly routine for several years. The food is always well-cooked and tasty, and they will adjust the seasoning if you ask when ordering. The service is friendly and efficient, and they look after their regular customers.

Absolutely rubbish, I love Indian cuisine but our meal was almost inedible. I've had far better quality and tasty ready meals. Would definitely not recommend.

Ordered tonight and took over 2 hours to deliver, 1st time from ordering from here and definitely my last,disgusting, cold food and a terrible attitude to my telephone response. Avoid at all costs!!!

Placed order at 18:00. Phoned at 19:30 to see where order was. Still no arrival after was told food is on its way …. Turned up nearly 3 hours late … , very disappointed. … Kids were crying

Waited nearly 2 hours for our delivery. When I called to find out what was happening they kept talking over me and kept saying call back later I’m busy. When I said to cancel the order they hung up with no apology. Will not be ordering from here. Appalling service

OK if you don't mind standing by the counter and being ignored while priority is given to phone orders. Waited 20 minutes then gave up.

Took an hour and 40 minutes for the food to come and all the food was cold. We had to ring to ask how much longer it would’ve been. The food was lovely, just a shame it took so long to come and it was cold

Don't order from here, I got a sickness bug from eating this food, it's so disgusting and they burnt the nan bread, how does a grown adult burn bread. No spice or flavour absolute disgraceful to call this a Indian restaurant, Çhoothiya

Lamb rogan josh was quite nice actually, but I asked for a less hot pathia and I still have no idea how it tasted as the cup of pepper you must’ve put in totally killed it…and this was the first curry ever in my life which gave me a nose bleed.

The food is good but the delivery isn't great. Always collect, the delivery service can be on time but can also be upto an 3 hours late. For some reason when the food is late the sauce seems to be thrown in the bag to split and go all over your food. But if you are looking for a good curry jump in the car and go gran one from here.

Food absolutely delicious as always the best Indian takeaway in the area definitely will be ordering again just one minor thing can you put the cold cans separately from the food as cans was warm food was piping hot throughout and delivery was super quick well done

I'm not a big fan of hot food but I love spices and this is the only place I will get Indian food from. They balance tbe flavours so well that I get tbe best taste but without being in pain. Also, the mint sauce they serve with the starters is soooo yummy 😋

Driver delivered to the wrong house( not the restaurant fault) but when i called the restaurant the staff were so kind and friendly, they sent us our new food instantly and the staff drove the food personally. I would 100% recommend this restaurant food is amazing and so is the staff. would recommend to order through the restaurants website.

Food was a little bit late (bank holiday so understandable) however the taste made up for it. 10/10 would recommend the masala chips. Only place by us we would use for a curry. Amazing food!

Waste of time, chased as way overdue on deliverytime, was told food was ready just waiting delivery driver. Still nothing hour later,then was told food out for delivery, apologies because they were very busy but staff also contradicted themselves

Extremely rude staff and owner, refused to fix our issue and hang up the call, even though delivery was over an hour and a half late. Lied to us about “car trouble”. Staff and delivery drivers all don’t understand how to run a business. The owner is wasting their time if they are “driving from cardiff every day” for this.

Avoid ordering from new valley tandoori, order was 45mins late, even thought is was a pre order. Incorrect food was given to me and then no one at the curry shop answered the phone. Looking at the other reviews this is very common to mess up orders and run extremely late on deliveries. Avoid this establishment !!!!

Plenty for gluten free which is awesome especially for the location! Even without the gf the food has always been amazing here and the staff have always been welcoming and friendly

Food arrived on time however was like warm, the two curries were very watery with only a small amount of chicken in each. Vindaloo had hardly any flavour and certainly not as hot as you would expect. Very disappointed to say the least 😕

Food arrived cold, ordered at 7:30 and it was delivered at 10. All tasted reheated including the chips which came solid as a rock. Naan bread practically inedible as either completely rock solid or mushy and doughy in parts. Not worth the wait or the cost!

I would not complain out the food being late. The food there has always been outstanding and would rather have a late delivery than order from anywhere else.

When I placed the order, the estimated arrival time was nearly two hours - rang the restaurant and the man was very polite and said it would be quicker, it came within an hour so no complaints on time. Food was stone cold. Naan bread was the size of a rice cake and extremely doughy. They forgot to include the chips we ordered, I phoned them and they said they would send them. They didn’t turn up! Still waiting at 10.35. Food and evening totally ruined. Supported them for years, this is the last time I go there.

We always enjoy meals from this takeaway. It arrived only slightly late but it was still nice & warm. Good portions & very tasty - extra spicy this time but enjoyable! Delivery driver very polite & friendly. I heard that the takeaway had been closed for a while due to family issues so we're so pleased it's re-opened.

Food delivered cold, food missing and almost 40 minutes late. Called the restaurant and it was to late to rectify because they were closing - I phoned at 20.10 so they must have been short staffed.......because they are open until

The food took an hour and a half to arrive and was cold. We had to heat it up in the microwave. The chicken tikka starter was also poor with the chicken cold and dry and a very small serving. A disappointing set of meals for the price.

Finally answered the phone. Was told a story about how busy it was and the machine was broken and they wasn't taken anymore orders. I would suggest if you don't have the capacity to fulfil orders then don't taken them. Won't be using them again. The only good thing about this place is the delivery driver, he is the only one that cares about customer service.

When the food eventually came the containers were not full. The rice, curry & sauce were only half full. There was no onion bahjis popadom or onion salad that should have come free. Albeit the small amount of food we did have was tasty. We have always ordered food from Valley Tandoori but were disappointed tonight.

Fabulous food as always. Arrived piping hot & full of flavour. My only criticism is that there wasn't much chicken in my Tikka Pasanda in proportion to the sauce but I thoroughly enjoyed my meal.

Orders are normally on time, but was 1 hour 25 minutes late tonight. Was on the verge of asking to cancel the order when it eventually arrived. If it happens again I’ll order from another local takeaway from there on. Food quality is amazing though.

I had a text message to say it was with the driver at 6:45pm nothing showed up. I come back on just eat and sent them a message it said I would have a reply in 5 minutes next thing someone’s knocking the door 8pm!!! All the food was freezing cold. My Nan bread was rock hard.
