New Tardebigge in Bromsgrove

Came to celebrate a birthday with a big family meal. The food and customer service was excellent. The ladies who were served our table were brilliant. Super friendly, helpful and really felt like wanted us to enjoy our meal and evening. Could not speak more highly of the team and food.

Great food and drinks today for a family meal and really great service from the guy who served a table most the afternoon.

Had a brilliant 'Bottomless Brunch' yesterday. Great food, great service and great value for money. Thank you to the friendly staff especially our table waitress.

I would recommend this place to everyone for every reason you can think of. Wanted somewhere to celebrate with the family our dad's 65th birthday as he hadnt planned anything i called the tardebigge at last minute on the Wednesday hoping they could fit us in, as there was 12 of us in total I wasn't holding out much hope, to our luck they fitted us in, they sent us a pre order form and menu so we were able to choose prior to arriving to make the meal run smoother. This morning, i received a phone call from them to say they had decided to upgrade us to the private room so that we could have the oval table and all enjoy the afternoon in private. Upon arrival, we were shown to room so that we could decorate it, and they had even put the fire on to warm the room up for us. Within minutes of arriving, a lovely young girl who was looking after us awaited our drinks order. After the drinks were served, we were asked if we wanted our food. One of the guests wanted to add to his order, and they accommodated our request with no hesitation. All starters, mains, and deserts were expectional and cooked to perfection. Every plate was cleared. All of the servers were second to none. They couldn't do any more to help us and went out of their way to make us feel so relaxed, the birthday celebrations couldn't have been any better. Thank you guys you made our day one to remember.

Excellent service the other day from our server Jude. Very polite and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble and he was very attentive (especially as I have a gluten allergy). Everything was explained well by him, regarding my choices, and I was made to feel very welcome. Food delicious and lovely atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.

We had our Christmas Party on Friday 15th December in the Library. It was fantastic! The planning of the event went smoothly and Miles was extremely helpful. On the day of the event a few of us went to decorate the room, where the staff were accommodating and polite. On the evening of the event, all food came out smoothly and on time. The waitress was lovely, very polite and the lady in charge of the evening was also friendly. The bar man tried to charm all the guests, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their evening. Some even said 'the best Christmas party' they've been to. Towards the end of the evening the staff moved the tables to the side of the room so we had space to dance. There was a tablet that was connected to a speaker system which we were able to use throughout the entire evening. Thank you for a wonderful night with delicious food and professional staff! We will definitely be coming back next year!

Came for Christmas meal with my choir.The food was lovely and we were looked after very well by Caitlin.

Went on a quiet evening for a bday meal with family. Opted for Braised Lamb Shoulder which comes with Red Wine Jus. I asked if the Res Wine Jus could be substituted with Gravy or an alternative - was advised this is not possible at all. Very disappointing such a place was unable to accommodate a fairly simple request.

I have been here a few times recently and the food has always been lovely, I do love the decor of the Tardebigge. The staff are always attentive and friendly, our waiter on our last visit was Matt and he was excellent!

Visited recently with my husband who has coeliac so can't have gluten. It is so nice for him to be given the same menu as other diners and not to be handed an allergens folder or tablet to work out for himself what he actually can eat. Some of the food on the menu is actually gluten free anyway and an absolute treat for him to have beer battered fish and chips. Staff are really switched on about gluten free options and, if in doubt, they are quick to check things with the kitchen. Really a refreshing change for him not to feel like a leper. Coeliac is a medical condition, not a lifestyle choice and to be able to have a choice of mains and deserts makes it a pleasure to eat out rather than a chore. Staff are immediately welcoming, friendly and attentive. The actual pub/restaurant is fresh and inviting and well maintained. Highly recommended. Probably best to book as Christmas approaches because it was pretty busy today.

The service was excellent,the food was very good there were 16 of us and all the meals were on time and not the serves were very attentive and could not be faulted some had the Xmas menu but 3 of us went from the normal menu

Great tasting food. There’s always been a buzz about this place..great atmosphere and friendly staff. My only criticism was that it took me asking three times for condiments for my chips and wine. I’m sure it happened as they were busy.

A quarter hour walk from our canal boat, we sat outside, enjoying a covered outdoor seating area. It was a great space for six adults from Sunderland, Northampton and Kent, and two pups. The staff were great and we enjoyed our evening.
