New Sun King in North Ayrshire

Definitely worth going to any other take away, for customer service freshness and mostly cleanliness, just look inside windows 🤮

We have tried this place twice in the past few months, first time wasn't great but we gave it another go and it was just plain awful. The food was cold and clearly had been sitting for a while waiting on us before our collection time that was arranged. The portions have got tiny and the chips are just disgusting. They have clearly been trying to cut corners and save money, as they were homemade chips and half the sized portions as they used to be. We will not be back in a hurry!

Have ordered and enjoyed my meals from here numerous times but no longer. Called to complain regarding my order and in response was swore and shouted at by the person answering the phone. Apparently he was "****ing sick of all youse calling to complain " (surely if you're sick of complaints from people do it right first time bud?) After asking his name as I wanted to lodge a complaint was told he was the owner (not sure this was the case), was not given a name and told it was alright he knew mine in a pathetic threatening manner. After a subsequent phonecall to try and get the name of the person I could speak to regarding this I was told it was "steven" then abruptly hung up on. Literally the worst customer service I have ever received.

Doesnt look much from outside but food is great, very tasty and good size portions. Good varied menu.
