Lovely food. Good value for money. Missed the drinks off the kids meal. It wasn't any hassle they sent them out separately. I would highly recommend

Food arrived barely warm 2 hours after placing the order. Several attempts made to contact the takeaway and no answer. Really really poor service and would not use this takeaway again, or recommend it sadly.

Only ordered from here due to Uber Eats offer. What a mistake! Ordered crispy beef in spicy sauce, got crispy beef in plum sauce which was really really sweet, also ordered chips...weren’t included, and whole order was 40 minutes later than promised and warm at best! Dumplings were nice, shrimp curry good but rest was average....and delivery guy tried to deliver it to both my neighbours!! 😳

Despite telling them twice that no dishes should contain peppers guess what they sent. That's right, a dish full of the things I'm allergic to. Fortunately they were seen before I ate any. God help anyone with a nut allergy that goes there.

Ordered a take away and it came nearly an hour and a half later, cold with chips covered in black spots. Took it back and insisted on my money back. Turns out the place is now owned by the man who owns the Red Lantern Chinese Take Away. No surprise then that the food was poor. I’ve had meals from both take away snow and they are awful. It’s not the cook at Rainbow Hill but the owner who purchased poor quality raw materials and doesn’t store them appropriately. I had the misfortune to have a ‘discussion’ with him over the phone. He is rude, arrogant and foolish so it’s no wonder his food is so bad. Don’t bother using either take away, you will be disappointed.

What was once a great little take away has sadly declined to the point we won’t be using it again. Poor service nothing but lies about when food would arrive. Unprofessional staff blaming the boss being on holiday!

We had used Rainbow Hill for a long time and never had a problem. We then found out about the 2* health rating and switched to another restaurant as we appreciate that these are not given out without good reason. I left my partner in charge of ordering the food and he made a mistake by contacting RH - What a terrible mistake it was! We ordered a beef curry and when it came it was a special curry with prawns and mushrooms - no beef! (plus 2 ingredients that my partner is allergic too). I rang RH and asked to have a refund and I was told to come back at 1am when the manager was back! I then went to the manager's sister business, Red Lantern, where I presented him with his alien ingredients. There was no apology, no concern and in fact he was rude, offensive and ill-mannered. I reminded him of his obligation to prepare food in accordance with allergy guidelines and he was not in the slightest bit bothered - in fact, he laughed when I mentioned the serious nature of anaphylactic reactions. He then got personal and accused me of being intoxicated and referred to my job in the teaching profession as 'pencil pushing'. He refused to give a refund on the grounds of contamination and was subsequently referred to the Dudley Food Hygiene Standards. What a shame that two of our local businesses are clearly not meeting cleanliness standards and are run by an obnoxious and careless businessman (if you can call him that!) I would not be ordering from the establishment again and recommend that others do the same.

Ordered from here on the 22nd November 2019. Ordered at 6:45pm, I rang after an hour and a half to be told that it was because I live in the opposite direction (I live in Netherton) Googled the place and it was a 7 minute drive away... never the less I rang them at 8:06pm after giving them enough time. The guy on the phone said he was going to call another driver and get the food to us asap! .... 8:45pm the food arrived, stone cold and we had to microwave it all as it was so cold. Will not be ordering from them again, and it’s ashame because I only ordered from them because of the 5 star reviews. Would’ve put 1 star but the food actually tasted nice (despite being microwaved again).

Had a change from our usual Chinese and gave this one a try, Can particularly recommend the Thai Red Curry, really nice meal and very reasonable

BBQ spare ribs , Double Happiness, Chicken with bamboo sprouts and water chestnuts, ordered online , lovely tasting ribs. Double happiness is a bed of fried rice, topped with crispy chicken and crispy duck with separate pot of curry sauce, huge portion great taste, free prawn crackers to boot , highly recommended

Best Chinese takeaway in the area!! The lady at the counter is always so friendly, the food tastes amazing and orders never take too long to make. The prawn toast and crab claws are so good, 10/10 would definitely recommend.

I order this evening This has been the worst Chinese take away I have ordered from. Shredded salt and chilli pepper was so over fried it snapped in two . Chicken wings had a tandoori colour and all food was so salty. But worst of all was my tom yum soup No aromatic flavours of Lemon grass or ginger But a brown congealed gloop with 2 prawns in

This is my local Chinese - I have been using it for years and have always had excellent service and great food - a lots better than many others I have tried in the locality

I was told they can't wash a wok to avoid food allergy risk. Singularly unimpressed. Shame allergies don't count under disability discrimination!
