New Lee Garden in Hartlepool

Pretty grim to be honest. Hot and plenty of it but that's all.

were quite polite on the phone but this cant make up for how VILE the salt and pepper chicken was, it had a dry cast on it and was like chewing on drywall, even though it was SALT AND PEPPER there was about 3 peppers the rest was all undercooked onions, there was oil at the bottom despite there being no sauce, never normally go there so hope it was a one off for the sake of others xxx

Good quality food, fresh ingredients and good portions cooked to order without too long a wait.

Absolutely love it. Fresh food, great taste and service. One happy regular!

Went to Lee Garden on satrday 9th Feb to pick up a meal we,d ordered,it was King Prawn chow mein ,chips and rice ,it was delicious and we will be ordering again 🙂👍🏻

I always order the same thing. Food is really nice but the problem I've had the past 4 times now is near to cold food. Like it's been reheated, the tub gets hot but the food is cold. The rice was cold. The soup is always hot. I ordered the food at 6pm and it was delivered by 615. There's no way they cooked it in that time

AVOID AT ALL COSTS Ordered from here and there was around 4 hairs in my food. I rang to inform the shop and they took almost 10 minutes to understand that i wasnt lying. Delivery driver was rude and called me a liar at my door.

Have ordered numerous times from Lee garden which the food is always lovely. But tonight had curry and chips delivered chips were dry tasted like they hade been rewarmed and curry sauce poured on top. Very disappointing.

Great beef chow mein and prawn skewers

I recently visited Lee Garden Chinese Takeaway in Hartlepool and was blown away by the quality of the food - it was so good, I'm pretty sure they hired a group of highly trained, Michelin-starred chefs to cook it. Okay, that might be a bit of an exaggeration, but the food was definitely top-notch. The prices may be slightly expensive, but that's just because they're trying to recoup the cost of hiring those fancy-pants chefs. And sure, the fact that it's cash only may be a slight inconvenience, but that's a small price to pay for food so delicious it could make a grown man cry. All joking aside, Lee Garden Chinese Takeaway is a fantastic choice for a quick and tasty meal.

All the Food is fresh, hot, clean & always cooked really well. Massive menu choice. Great little takeaway - never been disppointed - prefer to collect if we can - delivery is a bit haphazard

Ordered plain omelette, costing £6.30 you would think chips would be included, think again, NOPE!!! Telephoned to ask about chips, he asked who did you order through? Hartlepool Eats I replied.....ah no sides included, I said that can't be right, it's an expensive plain omelette. That's all you get, wasn't even a full dish, disgraceful won't be back, but everyone beware you'll be ripped off

delivery took an hour and a half after being told 45 minutes, one of the main items of a dish was missing as well as other multiple items , asked for no pineapple due to an allergy however we received the pineapple on the order, salt and pepper chicken was 100% not salt and pepper chicken and was charged for items we did not order, as well as the food being stone cold. does not deserve one star!

The food was nice , but would have been nicer if they had actually put the prawns in my Prawn & Chicken dish…..

Salt and pepper chicken and salt and pepper chips had no salt and pepper on it. Also even if u like onion MASSIVE CHUNKS IN MUNCH BOX. Had to pick at what was edible, blandest curry and gravy I’ve ever tasted

Food was absolutely gorgeous Hot, tasty and served with a smile. Great service all round.

First time I’ve ordered nd waited 2 nd half hours food come nd stone cold never again

Food is amazing, and generally there's enough for the next day as well, the portions tend towards being massive. The only issue I've ever had with the place is that they occasionally take more orders than they find they can cope with meaning you might get your food a few hours after you want it and they take the phone off the hook instead of having someone on the line apologising/taking cancelations/politely turning down new orders. Thankfully this doesn't happen often.

Go all the time but very disappointed tonight BBQ sauce like coloured water duck like rubber and gravy very salty

Ordered house special curry might as well have been beef curry ! The pineapple fritter was like biting into uncooked dough was terrible

Waiting 2 hours and 10 minutes for food & it still isn’t here .. after ordering it at 6:20. Now while I’m trying to cancel the order the phone is off.

Ordered food last night waited 2 hours food was discussing turned up cold, delivery driver walked off with my change. Will not be ordering from here again!!

Just had a great meal delivered. Reasonably priced and excellent quality. It's been consistently great.

We were staying in the Crimdon Dene Park Resorts Caravan Park and ordered our food to be delivered from Lee Garden. Absolutely first class and the best chinese we have ever had. If we lived nearer we would be ordering from here more often, fabulous would highly recommend

Been a regular since opening, curry chips and rice. Rice not cooked and far too much, must have squirted the curry on with a 5ml syringe. Probs won’t go back unless I’m drunk.

Really nice. Got their meal for one. Food was tasty, clean (esp the prawn toast) and not greasy at all. Only 4 stars cos the chips tasted like they were from a bag. Would go again.

Waited an hour after said delivery time on a Monday ! Food was cold .. Chips had been warmed and further warmed.Duck chow mein oh dear just all fatty and greasy. Sadly disappointed.
